Loud sound from car exhaust pipe was disturbing and annoying, so Sam couldn't even concentrate on reading financial reports about Carters' Garage. Samantha's fingers nervously turned a page while woman was looking through pages fast 'Shit what am I doing here?' woman nervously read reports about Carters' finances for this month, but couldn't understand anything because everything was in strange weird abbreviations, it was like whole a different language.
"Mom! Mom!" young 7 y.o. child, whose name was Brandon, rushed in his father's office, where Samantha was trying to concentrate, "Mom! Can u buy me a football? Ple-e-aseee?!" boy was like jumping up and down, holding a brochure, a big football star image smiling on the cover.
"Jesus Christ! Shut up!!!" Samantha couldn't control her anger and nerves anymore: "And I've told ya not call me mom!! I'm not your fucking mother!" woman shouted even louder, her fist smashing David's office table. "Got it?! U little prick!"
"What the hell?! What's going on there?!" David Carter burst into his office with an angry face and rushed towards his wife, who stood up and backed off looking for escape. Man violently grabbed 'Sam' by her wrist. "Ya talkin' like a horseshit with my boys again, huh?! Ya got no respect for me, ya fuckin' slut?"
Sam was already pale with fear: "I'm sorry, babe... I'm so... so, sorry. Ugh! David! It's just the stress! I'm sorry! Ugh! Hon, please, let me go.." Samantha spoke loud and nervous. 'Oh, no, no. Why am I always having problems? Jesus!' girl's thoughts ran in panic, looking for an explanation of why she yelled at the boy and said that she's not his mother. "Brandon... I-I... I-I was in a bad mood! Sorry... Son." Sam desperately looked at the kid, hoping that David will calm down if they both apologized.
"Ugh... Go home, boy. I talk with your mummy," he roughly patted a boy on his back and sent him away. When boy's steps couldn't be heard anymore he grabbed Samantha's face with one palm squeezing, making her open mouth, staring into woman's frightened eyes. "So... Tell me princess... what da hell that meant?" he whispered coldly.
"Ahh..." Sam tried to speak feeling fat guy's fingers painfully pressed into her cheek: "I'm just... pregnant and... I'm... Ahh! Ugh! I- I mean... hormones... just..." Samantha nervously closed her eyes, trying to find the right words: 'Come on, Sam! Don't mess it up!' She told herself silently, noticing his fat mechanic staring into her eyes without blinking and he seemed to wait.
"I'm just a stupid woman, sweetheart. It's like a woman's thing, honey... please let go of my cheeks now."
"The hell! A woman thing?! Ha!!" David bursted out laughing, staring into Samantha's scared eyes and letting go of her soft cheek. He still had a chuckle and said, fixing his blue denim working uniform and walking towards office doors "I'm just tired of this crazy attitude of ya! Got it, princess? Do your job and be a damn housewife, cook for us and nothing else!" mechanic guy left the room, as Samantha nervously caught her breath, and sat in a leather armchair.
She looked around the office and felt like throwing up. 'Ugh. What an awful shit. It's pregnancy or the fact I'm living in this god damn reality?' Sam cursed inside, closing eyes and listening to the noises coming from the outside, while her body was shaking from nervous breakdown. 'When is that shitty agency fixing my life back?'
