Samantha cursed under nose finding finally smartphone lying on a kitchen table and rushing towards it. "Lord have mercy! Finally!!" woman yelled excited and unlocking smartphone. 'Now, call my fucking parents and fix everything.. ok?' Samantha's fingers nervously pressed on contact named "mom". 'Come on, Mom, pick up...'

"Well I'll be darned! Samantha, what in tarnation are ya callin' for? Ain't ya s'posed ta be workin' or something?" an older woman answered Samantha's phone sounding worried.
"Listen..." Sam felt a knot forming in his stomach "Listen, Ma, I ain't got time for pleasantries. Listen, somethin' ain't right. I reckon I'm in some sorta twisted reality here. I was livin' like a rich fella, but now I'm stuck in this backwater place with a husband who ain't worth spit and kids who don't know a lick 'bout manners!"
There was silence for a few seconds, then: "...Samantha, what are ya babbling bout? U know we ain't rich, ya been to our homestead u gawky little hen! What's wrong wit ya head, child!?" woman screamed nervous, Sam could imagine her frowning as usual. 'Why she's answering me like i'm crazy? An why she talking like some old hick?? Jesus...'
Samantha loudly sighed listening to her mother for a few seconds. "...Good Lord, Ma," Sam exclaimed, "stop ta'lking like a dang country bumpkin! Just... Just listen to me for a minute, will ya? I know it sounds plum crazy, but I swear on a stack of bibles, we ain't poor."
"Samantha, honey, you must be fevered or somethin'. We ain't never had no riches. Your daddy's been a farmer since the day the good Lord put him on this earth, and I've been scrapin' by makin' do with what little we got. Ain't nobody in our kin ever been rich." she paused and signed "Honey, ya ain't feelin' alright, do I need to call ya husband to getcha?"
"Jesus Christ! I mean, goodness sakes, ma! No! Ya don't need to call him. Jeez! I ain't got no husband, ya crazy woman! And we ain't no damn farmers! Ya... not..." Sam noticed David standing in the kitchen's doorway staring and listening to the conversation "Ma... I... I gotta go." Sam quickly said ending a phone call and nervously smiling to a mechanic. 'Oh, shit...'
"What ya mean ya ain't have a husband?" fat man walked closer and stared at 'Sam' with his big green eyes. "What the hell ya talkin' 'bout? Are ya fuckin' nuts?! You're my wife, Samantha Carter! How da hell could ya even imagine such a crap? Huh?!"
