Part 1-23
The situation is definitely out of control and Jeremy felt panic starting to rise. He must immediately talk with John (or Juan) to figure everything out.
"Okay, okay! I... dance!" Jeremy replied. "I phone Juan... to make sure" he quickly reached for the phone, dialing the number 'Papi' that was entered in contacts. Lucy just crossed her arms across her chest and chuckled as Jeremina waited, her heart pounding in anticipation. After a couple of rings, Juan's voice spoke over the phone in spanish words:
"Hello Jeremina. Do you need something?"
Jeremy swallowed hard. "John, I mean, Juan, help! I don't understand everything!" he spoke Spanish words frantically "some Lucy comes here and say that I will go tonight to a... club or something. I don't know what I supposed to do, and..."
"First, don't use real names! Second, calm the fuck down and stop shouting," John snapped, his voice harsh, than he paused. Jeremy took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. John continued, his voice slightly calmer now: "Lucy... the black-haired girl with pretty face?"
"Uh, yes, she is here" Jeremy confirmed, glaring at Lucy, who smiled wickedly back at him.
"It's strange," John muttered. "She shouldn't have seen you at all... I will have to figure this out. In the meantime, play nice with her, okay? Go with her and do whatever she tells you. Got it, Jeremina?"
"But she sa-" Jeremy started, but he was interrupted again by John's angry voice, "Just DO IT, damn it! Don't destroy our cover story, and do not attract unwanted attention!" and he hung up, leaving Jeremy speechless.
Jeremy stood there for a moment, breathing heavily and closing his eyes, trying to calm himself down and control the mixture of fear, frustration and anger that was boiling in him, threatening to explode.
"Ahaha, okay, great." Lucy chuckled, smirking. "Now that we cleared all that shit up, let's continue, ok?"
