The next morning, Lilly found herself standing on the porch of the modest trailer that was now her home, looking out at the trailer park that stretched before her. It was a stark contrast to the opulence and sophistication of Malcolm's usual life. The air was thick with tension, and Lilly couldn't shake the feeling of being a stranger in her own existence.

As Cletus strolled up to her, he couldn't resist the urge to pinch her cheek, a gesture that made Lilly bristle with discomfort. She fought the urge to say anything, knowing that mentioning her former life as Malcolm would only enrage Cletus further.

With a dismissive glance at the trailer park, Cletus remarked, "Well, ain't this a fine mornin'? A far cry from your usual fancy digs, ain't it, Lilly?"

Lilly bit her tongue, avoiding any mention of her previous life. Instead, she forced a polite smile and nodded. "Sure is, Cletus."

Cletus, seemingly pleased with the night's events, leaned in and whispered with a lecherous grin, "I sure did enjoy our time together, Lilly. Got me lookin' forward to many more."

The words sent shivers down Lilly's spine, a sense of revulsion settling in her stomach. It was her first time experiencing such intimacy, but the fact that she was still Malcolm inside made the encounter feel repulsive and foreign.

Trying to hide her discomfort, Lilly mumbled a response. "Uh, yeah. You too, Cletus."

As Cletus stepped back, he patted her cheek again, earning a forced smile from Lilly. "Have yourself a good day at work, Lilly. I'll swing by later."

He chuckled, adding a warning tone, "Just remember, no actin' strange or sayin' weird things like before. I've got a reputation to uphold, and I don't need you causin' trouble. It'd be a real shame if you lost that job of yours."

Lilly nodded, the weight of the situation sinking in. As Cletus walked away, Lilly couldn't help but feel a sense of entrapment in this unfamiliar life. The trailer park, the morning light, and the prospect of facing a day of work at the cafe all seemed like components of a nightmarish reality she couldn't escape.
