Life in Malaysia as a Malaysian woman was very different from when Jack was here as a tourist. He had to come to terms with the fact that he somehow became a Malaysian female version of himself with the help of this stupid app, which he now hated as much as his new life here ... But first things first.
A month had passed since that hotel incident and Jack was desperately trying to find a way to get his life back. All his daily attempts to enable the use of the application were without result. SnapChat still had those silly funny fake filters, and he was still a Malaysian woman. In the end, they even took away his phone under the pretext that it interferes with memory recovery.
Of the pluses, it was only possible to note that he now spoke and read in Malay. And it was a dubious plus, because he completely forgot English.
Everything else was terrible. He hated being a woman and especially here in a foreign country for him. The body was strange for him, he was not used to the fact that now his ass and chest were constantly dangling with every movement and there was no way to get rid of it. He hated this cultural dress code, which he now had to use every time he woke up, thanks to which he always had to wear skirts and a headscarf. But more he hated the way everyone treated him now ...
Jack still adhered to his version of amnesia and did not give up hope even now, begging by his obedience to be able to use his mobile phone again.
He often recalled the day that incident happened and he was kicked out of his hotel room. Then he of course he started trying to explain and tell the truth. As a result of his rash actions, the administration called the police. It was only on the way to the police station that Jack realized that telling the truth was a stupid idea.
Amnesia was the only way to somehow justify his behavior in front of the police. They took fingerprints and only then Jack was left alone, finally calmly pondering options for his future and ways to return to America. He was shocked when the policeman returned with the words
- Jezzycha binti Musa - does that name tell you something?
Jack shook his head denially, not understanding anything.
- Good ... or rather bad. The good news is that we identified you, Jezzycha. That's your name, isn't it? (Jack looked surprised, continuing to be silent). Eh ... I don't even know what to do with you. But in any case, your husband will be here soon (from this new information Jack's mouth opened and this shocked him even more)
With each new hour, the new news about Jack's new life became a bigger and bigger shock for him. All this news seemed to never end.
He hoped that this was all just a silly joke of the police, but when he first saw Mansur he got another panic attack. The man wore traditional Malay male attire. He was not handsome and was not even young - in sight he could be given about 45-50 years. At first, Mansour was angry, then surprised, and when he found out and believed in amnesia, he was very upset.
Jack didn't think Mansour would take him that far from Kuala Lumpur when he decided that the best solution at the time was to go with him. They drove too long and when Jack started asking questions, he found out that they were going to the small town of Aman Labis, 250 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur.
Mansour tried unsuccessfully to ask Jack what he was doing in the hotel room and why he got lost. In addition, Jack managed to find out even then that he was only one of the three wives of Mansur. According to Mansour, he and his wife Jezzycha were in the market and suddenly she disappeared, and then he found her at the police station after receiving a call from the police.
At some point, from all this new knowledge, he wanted to jump out of the car, run away, but realized that it would be a stupid idea.
