[Full Armor, Corruption]
"Oh great lord above... Please, listen to my plea..."
A young peasant girl, whose luscious blonde locks were dirtied up by the work she was put through, sat down on her knees as she prayed to the God above. Praying for the safety of the young Hero that had set off. Praying for the prosperity of the people around her...
"Please... I want to be strong for him..."
And praying for something sinful. Something that she never would've ever imagined praying about. So much so that she was shocked that the words even left her lips, the peasant gasping as she covered up her lips. She had said something so heinous...
Yet despite what she had just said, the words rang true. She wanted to be strong. Ever since the Hero had left, she couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if she had asked him to take her with him. If she had tried her best to reach his level, so that she could protect him instead of being the one who needed his protection...
That was the sin that radiated through her heart. Her weak and frail heart, trapped within an equally weak body in a frail gown that had seen much better days. She was weak in every meaning of the word. And it was because of that weakness that she turned to such a selfish sin, as asking the divine for help...
"I... I shouldn't be asking this... And yet..." The peasant muttered, as she quietly looked at her hands. Hands that were weaving together once more. As she unconsciously began to pray once more. She knew she shouldn't. And yet...
[What is your heart's desire..?]
A booming, yet smooth voice began to echo out. Through her ears, through the entire tiny church. All while a wicked blue hue started to glow in front of her...
She was well aware of what this hue meant. She had seen it glowing on the many creatures that had come to try and destroy this Village. Creatures that had been felled by the Hero as he did everything to protect her and the villagers. And yet, here was the glow once again. Was it going to try and turn her into a Monster as well..?
"I-I don't know what you are, but-" The peasant did not have much on her. Not much more than a simple spoon for stirring the stews she fed to her beloved Hero. But even though it was all she had, it was what she chose to use to try and defend herself against a malicious force...
A laugh echoed from the glowing light, as it formed into a demonic circle. One from which a sickly blue flame emerged. A flame that was nothing more than a spark of the power that had birthed these creatures. A spark that still made her feel like she was about to burn up, just by being too close to this potent flame...
"I am your enemy, Human." The flame spoke, as it grew for a brief moment. Taking on a wicked and heavily armored demonic form. One that had only been seen on the various scrolls and tapestry that was used for retelling the legends that had once been...
The form of the great Demon Lord himself...
It was a sight that would send fear through anyone. And yet... That was not what went through the Peasant's heart. If anything the feelings that were being stoked inside her...
"You... You've done so much harm to us, and now you show up here..? What do you want from me..!?" She could feel her blood boiling. It was a strange sensation. Not one she questioned, however. Not while he was still in front of her, spectral as he may be in this form.
The armored Demon Lord laughed in response to her bubbling rage. "It is that current pouring through you that I want, Human." He said, his form shifting back into a meager flame. "That rage, begging to be unleashed and turned into power. Power that you desire."
She... She desired power. It was true. It was why she had been praying, much to her own frustration. He had overheard her... No, it wasn't that he had overheard her. He was the one that had answered her prayers... Unlike the God that would have condemned her for wanting something like this...
"...You can grant me the power to fight against you and protect the one I love..." The peasant muttered, as she slowly let go of the defensive tool in her hands. She was letting her guard down in front of the enemy that had been suppressing Humanity. All because of his sweet words...
Another laughter left the Demon Lord's flame. "Indeed. You can protect him however you wish. Even strike me down if you believe that to be how to protect him." He said, all while the flame began to burn brighter once again.
However, this time it did not take on the shape of the Demon Lord. Instead, it grew just bright enough to manifest a helmet, not unlike his own. A horned helmet that looked far too big for her head... Yet a helmet that also radiated with the same overwhelming power as the flame in front of her.
"All you have to do to gain this power is to put this on. Your rage will be transformed into power. And you will become one of us." The Demon Lord laughed once more. "Humans like you, with the overwhelming wills that sap them of their own strength... They should embrace the will and the feelings within them. Only then will they break free from their weak shells and become the Demons that they were meant to be from the very start."
The Peasant gazed upon the helmet in front of her. If she were to put it on, then she would lose what made her Human. She would become just like the creatures that had been hounding the Village. A vicious enemy that wanted nothing more than to destroy.
Or...
What if she ended up much better than that? What if she ended up even stronger than the Demon Lord? A Demon in her own right, true... And yet one that wouldn't destroy the Village. One that would take what she wanted. Make the Hero hers, and ensure that he stays... protected...
Make...
Make the Hero hers...
The Peasant's innocent blue eyes shone for a moment, as that innocence was then dyed crimson red with desire. Yes... The Hero would be hers... And so would this entire world. Nothing was going to keep her from taking him...
All she heard as she reached out and grabbed the helmet in front of her was the laughter of the Demon Lord. Not that she cared about how she had been seduced or whatever.
No. The only thing she cared about was the desires within her. The desires that led her to putting on that oversized helmet...
As it covered up her head, she could feel a pulse of powerful energy rushing through her. A pulse of energy that caused her body to respond accordingly, the sound of her muscles bulging for a split second echoed out...
Replaced by the sound of her clothes tearing apart, revealing her now-healthier physique. Her arms, her legs, her stomach... Gone was the malnourished and underfed body. In its place was a toned temple of muscle, one that would be difficult to look away from if she ever were to walk around with her body on display like that...
It didn't stay uncovered for long, however. As the pulse of power from her helmet poured across her body now. And the pulse served to guide the helmet as it began to shrink ever slightly, while a metallic substance poured followed the path the pulse took...
Deep black metal covered up her arms and legs, layer upon layer of this armor forming to protect her body. With spikes pushing out across the sides of her limbs, and especially the back of her fists. If she ever needed to use this newfound strength of hers, she could drive the spikes into her enemy. Destroy them, before they even had a chance to strike hard and true...
Underneath the armor, barely visible underneath layers and layers of metal, was a thinner layer. The same sickly blue hue as the flame that had gifted her this helmet. A symbol of the power that now ran through her. A demon's power, manifesting in the form of her most intimate protection...
Her torso armor was just as thick and as spiked across the shoulders and sides as the rest of her armor. The main difference was in the presentation. While the heavy armor that covered up her limbs was made in such a way that she would never be harmed... It was much more form-fitting regarding the torso. Ensuring that anybody that saw her would never mistake her for anything but a woman.
She took great pride in this new power running through her. This wrath that was bubbling through her, making the cracks in between the plates of her armor start to glow like the innermost layer. Yes... She could feel it. She could feel what she truly wanted. What she craved above all else...
The peasant... No. The Demon wanted to make the Hero hers. And the strength now running through her would let her tear through anything. Both the Hero's fruitless party, and any creatures or demons that might get in her way...
Now, it was her turn to laugh. A wicked laugh that came from the depths of this rage-filled heart of hers. As the walls of faith broke down around her...
And she began her rampage...
---
"Is that the best you have, Hero? YOU HIDE BEHIND YOUR ALLIES, LIKE A COWARD?!"
The Hero was on the verge of collapsing. All while trying not to focus on his fallen allies. The Mage and the Fighter that he had partied up with, both very charming and loving women...
They were currently face-first in the dirt. Thankfully not bleeding out, but the sickly blue hues of demonic power clinging to them... It was not much better than having been struck down...
And in front of him was the armored menace that had done it. Wielding what was essentially nothing more than a rugged and cracked slab of metal, she had struck them all down. And now, she was getting closer to him. Dragging that 'blade' behind her, all while laughing at how pitiful he looked.
"I won't give in... I won't surrender..!" The blonde youth that had become a Hero cried out, as he stood up with everything he had. Grasping the handle of his holy blade, ready to fight regardless of the odds...
Right up until the Demon laughed once more, and the helmet split open. Turning into a pair of additional horned shoulderpads, and revealing...
Revealing his childhood friend, who had left behind. The peasant girl who he swore to protect by going on this quest. Here she was...
Her face twisted into a wicked yet caring grin as she grabbed ahold of him before he could strike her. Holding him nice and tight so he couldn't help but look at her new wicked blue skin, or her black and red eyes. Or avoid the pressure of her obsession weighing down on him, as she hugged him as tight as she could.
"Ahhh... That's the Hero I know... But don't you worry." The Demon that had once been the Peasant he loved laughed. All while the sound of armor clanking and clicking into place behind her echoed out, and she turned around with him. Allowing him to see what was happening..
Allowing him to see both the Mage and the Fighter having stood up once more. Now wearing the same sort of armor that she did. Now turning into Demons, just as she had. As she whispered one fatal phrase into his ear. One phrase soaked in obsessive love...
"Now... I'll be the one to protect you..."
He would be hers. Forever. And the rage at others for trying to take him would keep her going strong...
