['Corruption', Magical Girl Themes, Fluff]

"Please, Lovely! There's more to humanity than you thi-"

"Silence. You and your kind have atrophied because of your foolish belief in these humans. I will not hear it. Nevermore will not hear your cries of pity!"

Proud words left the lips of a black-hearted woman. A woman who towered over those in front of her. Five young girls, who had been blessed by those that didn't see...

These five were Humans that the Angels believed in? Magical Girls were what they called themselves... They were anything but magical. They were a symptom of the cancer that Nevermore saw in Humanity. A plague that would spread forevermore. Never able to truly think for themselves and surpass what dragged them down... Always relying on others that would 'fix' everything..!

"Fallen Angel Nevermore..!" The leader of these five girls, a pink-haired girl with a heart-shaped axe, put her hand across her chest as she gazed with pure pity at the towering angel. "You were just like them, weren't you? You have to understand! You can trust us! You can!"

"SILENCE!"

Nevermore's wings spread far. Growing large enough to blanket the skies as her power surged forth. If she let these five remain in her way, Humanity would continue to fester. It would continue to rely upon them. Regressing as always. Regressing as they had done for the millenia that she had watched them..!

It didn't matter how many of them there were. She was the strongest Angel. Even after falling, she was still stronger than them all. What were five girls, prismatic as they may be, going to do to stop her?

No. No longer would they be in her way. Nevermore..!

---

"Ahhhhh... They're so cool..."

A young girl's voice echoed as she laid on her bed. Resting her head up against a pillow as she watched yet another one of her favorite compilations.

Well, it wasn't actually her favorite. Because it was focused on the heroes. But it still featured those that she truly held near and dear to her heart.

"That's it, Madame Malice..! Unleash all your power and then lose because you're another stepping stone for them to grow..!"

The Villains. Those were the ones that she loved. No matter how many times they suffered a defeat, they kept on trying to make their plans succeed. That's what she loved about them. They were tenacious! Ruthless! Malicious to the core, and sometimes seductive or even outright romantic! They had so many different flavors, each more unique than the last...

And they were destined to lose. But that's also part of why she loved them. Because they would lose in style. A true defeat was one filled with emotion. Even if it happened week after week after week...

"Ahhh... It's a shame you can't ever win, Madame Malice. Just imagine what those girls would be like, converted into your Malice Minions..."

The young girl sighed to herself as she turned off her tablet, and slowly pulled herself out of bed. Not that she needed to do anything, because it was late at night... She just wanted to get a little look at herself. Because otherwise her Mom would just get mad at her for getting too dirty in bed...

"Looking good as always, Aina Suzumi." The girl said to herself, snickering a little as she tried to put on a serious tone. "Our grand plan is falling into place... And it's all thanks to your efforts."

Aina Suzumi. That was her name. An ordinary girl by every measure. There was no better way to describe her, especially after she climbed out of bed. She was wearing heart-patterned pajamas, and her viridian hair kinda looked like a heart too. Just one that was torn in two and turned the other way around. Not that she had any issue with people thinking her hair looked like a broken heart, if anything she was just happy they thought she looked nice!

Especially since that was really the only thing that stood out about her. That, and her heart-tipped ahoge. She didn't understand how her hair always managed to curl into such a shape, but hey, it was cute too! Way cuter than her big glasses, and the fact that her pajamas usually didn't fit leaving her sleeves covering up her hands. Definitely.

Aina sighed a little again as she sat back down on her bed, which had magical girls plastered all over it. The Heartful Rainbow girls... Not that she'd agree with that name. There were only five of them, even if they were really cool too...

Then again, that was because both Violet and Cobalt decided to defect to the side of evil... Ahhhh, the outfits that they wore when they turned heel... Mmmmm, she could just imagine what it might've been like when they first transformed... The shame of their bodies being more exposed...

Ehe... Ehehehe... Ahhh... As much as she loved Villains and the fights that they were part of... She did have a small wish... Maybe, just maybe... She could be the one leading villains at some point? Not that she'd tip the balance in the villains' favor that much, she wasn't going to upset that balance at all!

She just wanted to try. And because of that, she ended up climbing off her bed again. All so she could walk over to the window, and look at the stars that quietly began to fall...

Silently wishing for a chance, as one of the stars... Grew... Bigger?

Eh?

Ehhhhh!?

---

"Those... Those Heartful girls..! How... How..."

A quiet dark light drifted across the skies above. The same skies that had been blanketed by Nevermore's wings. Wings that had been plucked and rended, all thanks to the bright light that had been fired at her...

The Heartful Rainbow girls. Those five girls... They had beamed through her with everything they had. They shouldn't be able to, and yet they did anyway. Against everything she could've expected...

It was why Nevermore was in this sorry state. Barely a fraction of her size. Barely able to maintain a physical form in general. Now simply drifting across the skies. With the force of that sickened planet trying to drag her downward... Downward...

...Was this it? Was this all that her righteous fury amounted to? She couldn't rid Humanity of the plague of inaction, all because of those girls... All because of their belief that they would back each other up when worst came to worst..?

How foolish... They just thought that much because they were still with one another. They would drift apart... And they would be alone before long... They'd all...

Her power... Fading... Consciousness... Draining...

Was this truly it for Nevermore..?

What a pitiful end...

---

"E-Eh? Ehhhhhh?"

Aina couldn't believe her eyes. Not only had a star started falling towards her window, not only was it all sorts of drained colors and black and kinda creepy, but...

It had shrunk dramatically as it came closer... As if the size was simply some sort of power that it was radiating. Leaving what was essentially a pebble to smack against her window, and rest right outside in the tiny patch of soil...

Whatever that thing was, she had to grab it and take it inside. So that's exactly what she did, slamming open the windows and then quickly throwing them shut again once she had grabbed the pebble, drawing the curtains to make sure nobody saw her...

With that tiny pebble in hand, Aina took a seat on her bed. Slowly looking at the pebble-like object, tilting her head ever slightly. Surely she hadn't just seen things, this thing was... Alive or something, right? It wasn't just a prank, right?

Her worries were thankfully quelled moments later, as the pebble began to pulsate. All while her hands slowly started to lose their color. It was like... It was like it was feeding on her somehow? Well, it didn't feel that bad, it was more like it kinda tingled.

It didn't take long at all for the strange pebble to grow. From barely the size of her nail to filling up her palm. Even taking on a stereotypical star-like shape, as it once again started to glow like it had done when it was falling towards her window... That dark, foreboding glow...

"What are you..." Aina muttered to herself as she quietly let her thumb slide across the surface of this star-shaped rock. Wondering if this was truly a star she was supposed to wish upon, or if it was something...

V...Villainous? ...Nah, no way, it couldn't be. Villains didn't just suddenly show up outside her window unless they were going to turn her into a minion.

With her heart relieved thanks to that incredibly simple conclusion, there was just one thing she could do. Locking that thought in mind, she softly smiled...

This little Star would grow big once again. No matter how long it took...

All thanks to how she'd take such good care of it...

---

Darkness pulsed through the Fallen Angel. Bit by bit.

Her heart, tainted by her righteous anger, beat as loud as it once had.

Her power had not yet returned. But her consciousness had. And with it, her ability to feel. Her ability to perceive. Her ability...

To rid this world of the cancer that infested it..!

"This world... This world..!"

Nevermore's power manifested. Returning her to her true form, as she gradually started to grow. Grow and grow, unti-

*bonk*

...

There was a ceiling in the way. Why was there a ceiling in the way?

Nevermore looked around, back hunched over. Her titanic Fallen Angel form was not fit for being inside buildings that weren't made for Angels. Which was why half of her was currently forced to bend over, as she tried to understand where she was.

A cursory glance around her revealed... Posters. Posters upon posters. Not just depicting the Heartful Rainbow, but more and more like them. Were there more of them..? Was this what her fellow Angels meant about bonds... About reaching out to everyone to power that strike that had finished her off..?

"E-Ehe. Ehehehe. Eeeehehehe... A-Are you real?"

Somebody was laughing at her. Somebody was laughing at her with a lack of confidence in her laugh. Whoever this was... She most likely did not understand what she was looking at. She did not blame the Human, as Angels were not a common sight. Much less Fallen Angels like her. Only five had fallen prior to her, and two of them she had personally dealt with when she was still in the role of an observer...

The cramped Fallen Angel's eyes fell upon the laughing girl. This girl... Dressed in the kind of garb that humans deemed necessary for resting in... Was she the one... No, she didn't have the power to. She couldn't detect any in her.

"I am real, Human. Burn my visage into your eyes, because this will be the last time you see me. I am the Fallen Angel of Dark Desire. Nevermore. And I will be ridding this world of the cancer that you and your kind are ailing from." Nevermore declared, though her imposing voice and her villainous intent was downplayed due to her body being far too big for the room she was in.

The girl gasped. Naturally. Humans would react with shock and horror when faced with her-

"You're a real Villain! A real genuine Villain! Oh my oh my oh my!"

...

Pardon?

---

Aina couldn't believe her eyes. It had been... Oh, a good week since that pebble hit her window? And now it seemed like her efforts to nurture it had paid off, and the star had turned into a big angel! A big black-winged angel! A fallen angel! Ohhhh!!!

Sure, this big angel was... Big. really, really big. So big that she'd definitely need to get her out of her room somehow. But she was also really pretty! The black, dark-gray and burgundy robes she wore were like darkness flowing off her body, to the point where it was hard to tell where her dress ended and her body began. It's not that it was so skin-tight that it was revealing anything naughty, but the dark-gray-hued Fallen Angel was just... She was just so pretty, and all the markings that ran across her body and all the way to the 'halo' of stars around her forehead, which were nearly covered up by her star-styled burgundy-colored hair...

She was a real Villain! A genuine doomsday-bringer! Ahhhhh!

"...Human. Ease your breathing. If I am to rid your world of this cancer while you still live, you mustn't choke on your own air supply."

Ahd she was courteous too! She saw her as inferior, that much she could tell by her voice, but she didn't want her to perish! She was probably going to turn her into a minion, or... Or..!

Aina coughed and very nearly collapsed from being a little too hyper, laying down on her bed as she gazed up at the titanic angel that hovered over her. Giggling in delight as their eyes met...

Nevermore's eyes... They were shaped like shattered hearts. Just like her hair. Maybe this was fate? Somebody'd say that. But honestly... Maybe it was just a cosmic coincidence. Either way...

"Sorry, sorry, Miss Fallen Angel. Or is it just Nevermore?" Aina slowed down as she slowly smiled and hugged herself. "I'm... I'm just happy to meet a Villain like you. Especially when you turned out to be that star... I knew you were sucking something out of me, but I'm glad it actually resulted in something. And here I thought you would've been draining me for longer too!"

Nevermore's eyes blinked once again. And her head tilted. What... Sucked out of... Hm?

"...Eh? You don't know what you did either?" Aina could tell. She had seen villains that weren't sure of themselves before. As well as ones that developed into something much more once they got a grasp of everything they knew. "...How long have you been a Villain, Nevermore?"

"I am not a Villain. I am a Fallen Angel." Nevermore asserted. Villain sounded so reductive compared to what she planned to do. No. She was Fallen. Because she simply did not align with what those foul Angels wanted to trust in Humanity to do. "I have been at this for thousands of years... And never before have I been cared for by a Human. Much less one without power like you."

Aina nodded. Well, that changed things. If she had been at this for so long, then she definitely needed help. Especially since it didn't seem like she was the type to have any kind of allies. And... Well, she had made a wish. So she was going to take advantage of it! If... If she was willing to go along with what she wanted!

"Then... Fallen Angel of Dark Desire! Nevermore! Allow me to aid you! Bless me with your power and let us both bring down this 'cancer' that infests this world!" Aina cried out, putting much vigor into her voice as she stood tall on her bed. Bringing her ever-closer to the oversized fallen angel...

Nevermore did not understand this girl. However... She had said that she nurtured her back to health, had she not? Even with how far she had fallen, she understood that kindness of that degree had to be repaid. Could this Human truly handle her power..?

...

She could. If those infernal Heartful Rainbow girls could handle the Angels, then a single Human, one as confounding as this one, could handle her power..!

"Very well. Let the Dark Desire sink into you and bloom, Human-"

"Aina! Aina Suzumi! If you want my help, I want you to use my name too, Nevvy! You've got the words down right, you gotta get the mood too!"

...Nevvy? ...No, she didn't have time to think about what the human was interjecting with. Best to simply appease her for the time being.

"...Open your heart to the Dark Desire, Aina Suzumi. And let it break your heart apart and consume you whole."

A single star fell from her forehead. A star much like the one she had incubated within. It fell with the intensity of a true shooting star, impacting straight into...

...

Why was it doing that? When she experimented with humans in the past, they usually transformed immediately. Why was she...

Aina let out a potent cry of desire as the star flew into her heart, causing her clothes to explode off her like she was part of the Big Bang. No, it wasn't just that they exploded off her, each shred of clothing turned into a brand new star, each now flying back towards her...

The stars embedded themselves within her. Turning into markings not too different from the ones that decorated Nevermore. All while two layers of cloth sprouted forth, forming a two-layered split dress. One layer was see-through and lighter in tone, while the other was darker and accentuated the beauty down below.

Above the dress was a leotard with a set of mechanical devices, each brimming with cosmic-like energy that seemed to resonate with something further above. A black hole-like mark on her chest, which was currently connected to her twintails. Twintails that had turned a deep shade of purple to go with the  power otherwise brimming from within, as they stretched out from her head and under her arms. Forming a heart, filled with love like no other.

Her lips were tinted the same shade of purple as her hair, not unlike a nebula forming in the depths of the darkness in space, with her eyes having turned into stars. All complimented by the single massive star on her forehead, circled by its own ring of stars. A symbol of her power, a symbol of the new girl she was..!

"Look, Nevvy!" Aina giggled, before clearing her throat as she was not about to kill this moment too early. "No, Fallen Angel! Witness my ascension! I am the Countess of Corruption, the Black Hole of Dark Desire! Eternakaos! Eternally fall within my grasp and be reborn!" 'Eternakaos' cackled, far too enthused by this brand new form of hers...

Nevermore remained silent as she watched. She had too many questions that demanded answers. But she would receive no answer for them, as the windows flew open...

And with them, Eternakaos flew out as well. Laughing as she was more than happy to try and use her brand new powers to do... Well, Villainous things!

"Pink! There's the signature we picked up! It's one of Nevermore's lackies!"

...Eh?

Eternakaos' head slowly turned towards the heroic voice she heard, her mind having trouble parsing what she just heard. Just as she had trouble parsing the axe that found its way into her fac-

*CRASH*

The Fallen Angel did not know she could feel pain. Much less the kind of pain that came from a strange girl being hit full-force by one of those Heartful Rainbow girls...

...

What exactly had she gotten herself into, by bestowing her power to this... girl..?

---

"Aha... Ahaaaa..."

Aina was laying in a small crater. A little hurt. But not nearly as hurt as she probably should be. More importantly, her heart was racing as she gazed up at the five colors flying in the sky...

Because she had been defeated so easily, they disappeared not long after. But she recognized those particular shades. They were... They were the Heartful Rainbow, weren't they?

They were real. Everything was real. Villains... Heroines... Magical Girls... Traitor Girls... Everything... Everything..!

"Ehe... Ehehehehe... Ehehehehehehe!"

A creepy giggle left Aina's lips as she slowly pulled herself out of the crater. Her fantasies had come true. Her wish... It had been granted by that dark star...

With this newfound power... With this newfound Fallen Angel blessing her with all this power..!

"Aha... Just you wait, Heartful Rainbow..! Just you wait, Magical Girls! The Countess of Corruption, Eternakaos! She will rise and make the whole world shake in their pants, thanks to her Corruption Army!"

Aina... Eternakaos laughed. And began to live out her dream...
