Mainly serving to protect her when she needed to guard, as her acrobatics would help her dodge out of the way of any fatal attacks. Her name was Katina Schwarz. An Adventurer that hailed from the southern region of Nusantara, more specifically the quiet seaside town of Dewdrop Vale. She was the best that the town had to offer, and their pride and joy. So when the Demon Lord of Nusantara struck to try and conquer the region and claim more for herself, Katina did everything she could to try and save her fellow townsfolk and take out as many Monster Girls as she could.

While she ultimately failed to escape herself, she saw many get the chance to live another day. And that was enough for her. Now all she could do was endure the torture that came her way. Due to her status as one of Dewdrop Vale's best, she had been in contact with fellow adventurers and defenders. Allowing her more insight into the way that the Demon Lords of the world operated. How they dismantled the world and claimed one piece as their own, all so they could torment the humans that had once been in the majority...

Indeed. This world, Fantasmagorie, had once been a world dominated by Humanity. But one day, Monsters started to rise. Their attack was fast, with many parts of Humanity left completely defenseless. Carving the world into eight pieces. The center, Lagrimosa, served as the only home for Humanity, with the seven other regions each claimed by a different Demon Lord.

Nusantara's Demon Lord, and the one that Katina had personally faced in combat, was the Lady of the Deep, Ralette. A massive Mermaid that manipulated the waves to drown her town. Those that were not drowned by her waves fell when her forces assaulted the waterlogged town. Katina was not the only one that had been captured, yet she suspected that many of the girls she had fought against would break far before she would...

If they were in a more peaceful time, she might've appreciated the way that the Sea Dragon was dressed. "But where are my manners? I am Aquitia, and it is my duty to make sure that you go through all the necessary steps to become one of the Demon Lord's toys." She said, before letting her head dive forward, stealing a kiss right off Katina's lips.

"What is there to understand, when you won't be able to break me?" Katina shot back, her voice calming down. She had to remain calm. That was the only way she would be able to claim victory. Even if she had to endure so much, she had to hold out. Waste their time, so that others could eventually mount a counter-offensive..."

Aquitia did her best to stifle a laugh, only to break out into hysterics. "Those girls that guided you in here were much like you. They thought they could endure. But they broke. Just as you will."
