[Egyptian-flavored Clown TFs, Brainwashing, Laughter]
"She's not here. Hrm... If I was a girl suffering from a near-terminal case of Pawn Syndrome, where would I be..."
Saki Himitsu muttered to herself as she slowly walked through the Mimoto Highschool library. She had been looking for the school's Valedictorian, Kokoro Akaijin, because she had been missing for quite some time. And considering her tendency to avoid treatment for her Pawn Syndrome, there was a good chance that it could mutate and turn her into a Jõtaijin, one that would make everyone else's Pawn Syndrome flare up as well...
But she wasn't there. Sadly, she wasn't keeping to her studies. At least not like this. Well, she'd just have to go checking out other avenues as well, to try and see if she might be hiding nearly out of sight. Perhaps she was hiding underneath somebody's house, focusing on a crush? ...No, don't be ridiculous, nobody would ever do something like that.
"Perhaps I should-"
Saki paused as she heard the sound of a page turning, prompting her to turn towards the source. While the source was not the girl that she was looking for, she was definitely somebody that Saki had on her list of girls to seek out.
The girl sitting at a table all by her lonesome was Sunako Warai. She had slightly tanned skin, since she liked to spend a lot of her free time maintaining the perfect tan, which made the fact that she was a studious and otherwise unremarkable girl stand out that much more...
She was one of the highest scoring students in her class, and as such... Well, Saki could use her for her plans to harden Mikai. What could possibly go wrong with something like this? Nothing, in her eyes at least.
"Warai, glad to see that you're still studying." Saki said with a soft smile as she approached, making sure that she didn't seem like a threat. Not that many would, considering her position and what she had done for the school...
Sunako blinked a little as she looked up from her book, smiling as she pushed up her glasses. "All thanks to the tips you drilled into my head when I was first starting out, President." She chimed, before quickly slipping a bookmark into her book and bowing her head while putting it away. "To what do I owe this pleasure?"
"Formal as well. I remember when you were still shivering around others. Worried that they might laugh at you." Saki said, stopping right in front of the girl. "I'm glad that you've come such a long way, Warai."
"Aha... Well, I realized that the laughter wasn't really pointed at me, the last time I messed up. It was more just the accident I got wrapped up in." Sunako said, a soft blush on her cheeks. "Not to mention when I was turned into one of those Pawns, I ended up causing us all to collapse into a pile because I bumped into one of the others, and everyone just fell over..."
Saki chuckled a little as well. "A learning experience from something that humiliating. Yes, you've definitely grown." She said, reflecting on her own mistakes. And... The more volatile emotions that bubbled through her when she was forced to face defeat at the hands of that thing...
"You seem like you've grown a bit as well, President. You seem... Happier?" Sunako paused, tilting her head slightly. "Not as happy as you could be, but you definitely give off a different vibe compared to when you quietly kept tabs on us. And when you were trying to find those that would fit your agenda the best."
Saki raised an eyebrow, before chuckling again. "I'm that easy to see through, or have you just been paying extremely close attention?" She said, as she reached into her pocket. Yes, she would definitely make a good Jõtaijin. That much she was absolutely assured of at this point...
"No, I just thought I could make you admit it."
This caused Saki to momentarily stagger, as Sunako just kept on smiling towards her. Even chuckling a bit herself. "...Sometimes, I regret what I've done to improve the student body." She sighed. Well, it's not like outing herself had any consequences. With Bat being the Principal, and D'Or being assigned to make sure that everyone could get treatments for Pawn Syndrome... If anything, being revealed like this just made it easier to clean up, should Mikai succeed.
"I suppose we should skip to the part where I offer you a chance to make your wishes become reality." Saki said, trying to compose herself again as she pulled out an ornate ring. The same kind of ornate ring that many of the recent Jõtaijin had been seen wearing...
Sunako took the ring, carefully examining it. "You know, I did notice something. Namely... These only started to appear around the time that you became active, President..." She paused and curled her knowing smile into another grin. "You know what these rings represent too, don't you?"
"Yes. Yes, I do. They're meant to be compact and easy to slip on, while at the same time evoking the same sort of irrevocable energy as such a ceremony." The deceptive Student President said, before slipping out a few more from her pocket. "I always keep some on me, in case I find students with Ambition. Just like you, Warai. Despite how you started, you've been working hard to improve and become much more than a scared and frightened girl. But I can tell that you want to become so much more too. That's why..."
"Ambition, eh?" Sunako said, as she carefully ran her thumb along the band of the ring. Smirking a little as she thought about what all of this meant, and what she could do now... "That would explain the extra heavy breasts that most of us ended up with, the time you made that Tithoth monster out of Dekaicchi..."
Saki didn't need to add anything, because Sunako had already managed to deduce plenty about her plans and her methods. If anything, she just stared. Waiting for her to put the ring on. The faster she put the ring on, the faster they could proceed with the plan...
Sunako honestly really liked that look. That look of anticipation. It was like she was waiting for her to mess up and give her something to laugh about. But now, she'd give everyone something to laugh about. Something that wouldn't harm anybody, a harmless yet expansive laugh...
The dusky girl slipped the ring onto her finger, and let the golden glow wash over her as well. Letting the golden color stuff her into a cocoon, where she could grow more and more as the seconds ticked by.
Saki watched with extra glee as she stepped back, not wanting to be pulled into the Jõtai. There was a risk of contamination if two people got too close to one another while the Jõtai was active, so she didn't want to take any chances...
Slowly but surely, the cocoon broke. And little by little, the brand new Sunako was exposed to the world. Exposed... Or showing off, perhaps? There were many ways to read what was happening with her...
Just as there were many ways to read the laugh that slipped from her lips as the cocoon cracked. It was both an ambitious and delighted laugh... But also a laugh that was born from joy and happiness, which perfectly complemented the look on her face as it was revealed...
The studious girl, who wore glasses to help her read and had her hair kept nice and dark to make sure it didn't stand out, had her hair darken fully to the point where it was nearly so black that it absorbed light. Which complimented the duskier hue of her skin. It didn't look like a tan any longer, more like she had always been out in the sun and naturally tanned that way...
But her tan and her hair weren't the things that caught Saki's eye. No, the things that caught her eye were on the girl's cheeks. Instead of the dark colors that naturally accompanied the markings that decorated one of her Egyptian-themed Jõtaijin, her cheek markings were red. Not unlike a Jester's rosy cheeks, and the markings themselves looked less like eyes and more like a pair of extremely extended lips curled into a grin...
That confusing mix of aesthetics continued as she looked further and further down. Instead of being confronted with some form of elegant cloth that made her look that much more exotic, the transformed girl clearly wore a leotard. Black and Red... Or white and red..? The two colors seemed to shift naturally whenever you took another look at her. It was like some sort of weird combination between the kind of tight and show-offy clothing that a jester would wear, and the more regal colors and hues that came with her station.
The colorful pattern was repeated across her gloves and her leggings as well, and were all completed with two more details. The first was a pair of elegant yet colorful wings stretching out from her head, which served to add a sense of spectacle to her presentation. And the second was the black circle on her thighs and right above her chest. These seemed to radiate power and heat, not unlike the sun that stretched out above...
All in all, Saki was left rather confused by the look of this Jõtaijin. Even if she was attractive enough to make the girl blush, it really wasn't what she had come to expect from one of her Jõtaijin. She expected somebody a little more... Ambitious. Not a clown in Egyptian clothing...
"You're awfully silent, my dear Pharaoh." The transformed Sunako said, winking as she smiled from ear to ear. "Is this Jester not enough for you? Do you require more entertainment, before you'll gleefully accept that this is right?" Her voice was silky smooth, despite the fact that she looked like a themed version of a jester. Which was far, far from what Saki imagined that she would be...
The Student President did her best to compose herself when faced with the results, clearing her throat and everything. "I was simply stunned by your new look, Sunako. Or, what would you prefer to call yourself at this point?" She didn't know what exactly to call somebody like her. What kind of jester would find herself in a getup like this, much less one that kept shifting like what she wore was nothing more than a mirage..?
Sunako's smile widened as she made a spectacle of her bow. "As thanks for the smiles that you've shown me and brought before me, I cast aside the name of Sunako. All in the name of laughter and happiness... Yes, I am now Rahaha!" She laughed, the wings on her head spreading proudly as she gave her name. And the suns that were tattooed onto her body started to glow alluringly with light as well...
Light that Saki couldn't stop looking towards, a thick blush on her cheeks. "W-Why do I feel... D-Deja vu..?" She muttered, almost as if she had gone through the experience of being brainwashed by one of her Jõtaijin before. Is... Is this how Saeko felt, whenever she fell prey to one of her own creations..?
"Ehehehehe... Don't think too much about it, my dear Pharaoh." Rahaha chimed, laughing more as she stepped closer. Letting Saki's eyes keep drifting downward, towards her leotard-trapped assets... All while still focusing on the light shining right above them. "What you need to think about is the happiness that'll fill you. The happiness of letting it all go and letting your thoughts slip as deep into laughter as they possibly could..."
Saki was trying to fight against these alluring words. But it was hard. Really hard. Especially as the dusky jester pulled her into her arms, and let her rest right up against that sun mark... Blinding her with happiness, as she started giggling just like Rahaha wanted her to...
The more she giggled, the more of her mind seemed to fade. And yet she didn't mind at all. It felt... It felt so nice to just let her laughter loose and not worry about anything. Ehe... Ehehehehehe...
Rahaha giggled as she watched Saki slowly take on a dusky tone, just like her own. Saki had always been a little too focused on thinking, to the point of hurting others when she thought she had the right idea. Even this transformation could've been a terrible idea.
But that was why she was here. To make her laugh it all off. Laugh it all away so she wouldn't need to think. She'd be a giggly dusky clown. Just like her...
Just like everyone else that might try and stop them...
---
"Really!? Clowns, that's what we're dealing with?!"
"You sound so shocked, Yuuki-senpai! What, do you have a problem with clowns?"
"I don't have a problem with clowns! I just think it's ridiculous!"
"She totally got scared by one and she doesn't want to admit that's why she's upset."
"Saekooooooooo!"
Mikai giggled as she ran along, with Yuuki and Saeko sticking close by. She would've called Hayato for help, but he had promised that he would go talk to some of the people that he had taken Jõtai Factors from, to apologize and make himself better. And Hiro... Sheeee... Was busy trying to deal with things, no doubt. And Minami? Yeah, no way she was calling her for something like this.
So it was up to her and her friends to deal with it. Not that she might need their help, considering what she was able to do with her powers, but a helping hand never hurt! And besides, she got to see a brand new side of Yuuki, great!
Yuuki was trying to keep cool. But, uh, hard to do that when all of her clown memories revolved around this nice looking clown lady being a little too enthusiastic during one of her birthday parties. Turning her Dad into a clown and Yuuka too... Thankfully it wasn't anywhere worse than that, and she was definitely still sorry about what she had done, but the memories of that messy, messy day were always fresh whenever clowns became an issue...
Saeko... Wasn't going to be the most useful here, but keeping Mikai in check was something she had promised Yumeko she would do. At least when she was away. What was she doing anyway, trying to read through timelines for... Wait, could she even do that? More importantly, her mind slipped for a brief moment and she started to blush, so best to just put that thought to the side and not even try to think about that kind of stuff.
As they got closer and closer to the source of all the laughing, which had been pouring through the speakers, things started to look significantly more gilded and golden. Not unlike if Saki had been responsible for this place. But Saki would never turn into a clown. Too rigid for that kinda thing...
Mikai let her flames cover her as she turned into Mimoto, skipping the whole posing thing because they were in a hurry, as she gave the surrounding decor a brief look. "You think Saki-senpai got turned?" She asked, because this was definitely giving her Tithoth vibes at least.
"I think we're going to see some real PASSION-filled tits, knowing her!" Yuuki didn't particularly care either way. But talking about Saki's tastes definitely kept her mind off the impending mess of clowns, that much she was sure of.
Saeko just grew redder in turn, before breaking into an even stronger sprint than Mikai's own. The shame of her thoughts drifting all around were kicking her speed into overdrive..!
"Saeko! Slow dooooown!"
By the time Saeko could hear Mikai crying out for her, the lavender-haired girl had already run straight into a much larger room. A chamber that looked kind of like a circus tent, complete with stands that were currently filled with all sorts of dusky looking students that seemed a little too... complacent at the moment.
And then she vanished, right before Mikai and Yuuki's eyes. All while laughter echoed through the gilded tent, and a light shone down on a stand in the very middle of the tent...
"You! You're the baddie, aren't you!" Mikai shouted, as she cracked her knuckles. "Give me back my Sae-"
She didn't get to finish, Yuuki grabbing her by the shoulder as she pointed straight towards the 'culprit'. Letting Mikai take the time to focus her eyes and actually look for herself, realizing who was standing there...
"Saki-senpai?"
Indeed, it was the beloved and troublesome Student President, who now had a deviously giggly grin on her face. Not only that, but she wore makeup that seemed like a mockery of the kind of eyes that the Egyptians loved to use. Her makeup was done in such a way that these 'eyes' were more like curved ends of a massive grin, and her attire...
Well, they had expected big tits, and that's exactly what they got. What they didn't expect was for her lips to be covered in a deep layer of gold, or for her to be dressed in an outfit that looked like the corrupted mockery of both a Pharaoh's attire and a ringleader's attire...
"That name rings no bells! I am the Great Kanzei, and you have come to bring entertainment to everyone! Come, everyone! Laugh with me!" The corrupted Saki laughed, and so many more bouts of laughter started to pour in from every other angle...
Yuuki raised her fists, with Mikai only clenching hers. The laughter was a bit much, but it didn't seem to be overtly mocking. Especially since... Everyone in the audience looked to have gone through the exact same dusky treatment as the Great Kanzei herself...
"Where's Saeko!? And you're not the culprit, Saki! Where's the one pulling your strings, huh!?" Yuuki shouted, the ground around her both freezing and quickly burning up as her heart pumped faster and faster.
Great Kanzei tapped the side of her cheek, reaching into her hat as she tried to dig for something. Only to pull out Mumei instead, the poor pupper given a slightly tanned tint as well. "No, she doesn't seem to be in here. But my, there's a beast!"
Mumei-chan blinked. She had just been studying moments later, so... Why did she just get pulled out like she was a rabbit? More importantly, why was...
Both Mikai and Yuuki were treated to the gleeful sight of Mumei-chan's confused expression suddenly twisting into a delightful grin, with her rocky form taking on a much more furred look, making her look more like a Sphinx rather than a pupper. All while she got down on all fours and started to run towards a floating ring that she had spotted in the distance.
A sight that started to fill Mikai with a bit of envy as she giggled. "S-Something's wrong, Yuuki-senpai. We have to find the culprit, or-"
Before Mikai had the chance to finish what she was talking about, she noticed something hovering in front of her own eyes. A little tuft of feathers that was dangling in front of her like a pair of jingling keys. Normally, she wouldn't be provoked or distracted by something like that. But right now...
Right now, it made her tremble a little, as she started to drool. Her helmet fading away, as a pair of jackal-like ears popped out of her head...
"Oi! Mikai!" Yuuki shouted, as a thick layer of ice covered her arm while she thrust it towards the culprit holding the tuft. Only to miss, as several colorful birds started to fly right past her...
And a warm pair of arms wrapped around her, a cheerful giggle echoing into her ear. "You should loosen up, Yuuki-senpai. You're far, far too tense for something like this..."
Yuuki struggled to gaze over her shoulder, her eyes meeting Rahaha's as she saw her for the first time. And looking into those bright, sun-like eyes that complimented the clown makeup... It made several chills run down her spine. "Let go of me! I don't want to be a clown too!"
"Aw, looks like my 'PASSION'ate senpai's all tense. Why don't you gaze up and have a little laugh? I'm sure it'll loosen you up." Rahaha giggled, keeping Yuuki distracted so she couldn't focus on a single thing and try to stop it as a result.
The dusky clown grabbed Yuuki's chin and forced her to gaze upward, gritting her teeth. Only to have them widen in shock as she found Saeko all the way up there, precariously balanced on a single string. "SAEKO!"
Saeko trembled as she took a slow step forward. It was one thing to be forced into one of these leotards when she was suddenly pulled away by magic, it was another to be forced into the role of a trapeze artist. Not that she had an issue with that, balancing on thin threads was something that came naturally to her, but she wasn't prepared at all!
"Careful now!" Rahaha giggled as she let go of Yuuki, licking her lips before putting on a bright and delightfully devilish grin. "If you disturb her, she might just fall! And that'd be just awful, there's nothing to protect her after all!"
The more that she laughed, the harder it was for Yuuki to focus. She wanted to freeze this laughing clown solid and then teach her a thing or two, but the more she laughed, the more she wanted to laugh with her. Unaware that the markings that were on every other clown in the circus had already started to cover her cheeks...
Mikai blinked as she kept on chasing after Mumei-chan, not sure what she was doing exactly. Hadn't she been... Hadn't she just been standing there, looking at something nice and bouncy?
But now she was chasing after a kitty, and she was more like a doggy. She had taken on that nice dusky hue and she looked more like a jackal, like she was supposed to be guarding something. But instead, she was... chasing after...
A bit of drool ran down the clowned jackal's chin. Her mind just popped a bit, and she started to giggle. No need to worry about what she was doing or why she was doing it. She had fun to get through. Lots and lots of fun to indulge in! Yeah, yeah, yeah!
Her armor had completely cracked apart at this point, revealing the fully transformed jackal. Looking like just as much of a clown as everyone else, complete with making her role as an 'animal' look absolutely ridiculous. Just like Mumei-chan!
The two chased after more and more rings, as the laughter from the audience grew stronger and stronger. All while Yuuki was having more and more trouble focusing. Not just because of the laughter, but because...
Well, Rahaha's breasts. Maybe she had spent a bit too much time with Saki, but she was staring without being able to pull her eyes away. She definitely wanted to, so she could focus on Saeko and get her down. But right now...
"That's it. Just keep staring. That's what we're meant to be. Stared at and made to entertain everyone. With not a single good thought in between our ears. All that we exist to do is bring entertainment. Especially for our Ringleader!" Rahaha laughed from the depths of her heart, as the sun right on her chest started to glow brighter and brighter, drawing Yuuki closer and closer...
Saeko, meanwhile, was doing her best to try and keep her balance. A dangerous, almost impossible act. After all, the thread she was walking on was so thin that her superhuman balance was causing her to sway more and more and more..!
And the laughter from everyone definitely wasn't helping. It was giving her performance anxiety. It was... it was..? Eh..? What was...
A soft laughter left Saeko's lips as her thoughts were being smothered by all the laughter. Causing her to slowly sway a little too much, as she started to tilt over...
Down, the Spider Monster fell. The bespectacled girl smiling like a doofus as she fell and fell and fell...
But right before she'd make impact, several bands flew out. Breaking her fall, and breaking her descent. And by the time that she ended up with her feet on the ground, she was covered from head to toe in red, white and black bandages...
Just like the giggly Mummy that she was, waving to the audience and bowing as they kept laughing at how ridiculous of a display that was. And she giggled together with them, because she thought it was just as ridiculous. If not even more so, despite the fact that she had been part of it all!
Yuuki giggled a little more as she saw it, before shaking her head further. "N-No... P-PASSION'S NOTHING TO LAUGH ABOUT!" She shouted, as ice spouted across her form before it shattered and erupted into flames. She wasn't going to fall prey to something like this!
Rahaha laughed at the sight. "Ice and fire together, how fun. But you know what beats both?" She asked, still laughing from the bottom of her twisted and depraved heart. Still laughing with such utter glee...
Yuuki didn't want to listen. She didn't want to hear the answer. All that she wanted to do was punch the lights out of this girl, so she could restore everyone to normal. And the flames on her body raged on in response to her PASSION-
Right before those very same flames were doused, and she stopped in her tracks. In the span of a single second, she had been doused in so much water that it felt like she had been dunked in the nile. And it managed to put out every single flame across her entire body, leaving her with a shocked look of pure confusion...
Leaving her to laugh just like everyone else that was watching her get drenched. It was too funny. She had made such a huff and puff of how she wasn't going to end up a clown. And yet here she was, getting drenched just like one. Like one big joke that they had saved for last.
"That's more like it, Yuuki-senpai." Rahaha giggled as she came closer, putting her fingers onto the edges of her Senpai's smile. Tugging it up, only for the soft sound of her smile freezing in place to echo out. "Perfect. Doesn't it feel so nice to not worry about it all, and to just laugh your life away?"
Yuuki couldn't really answer with that smile currently forced on her. Instead, she just laughed. Laughing and laughing, without a single care in the whole wide world...
Just as everyone else in the circus did. Nobody in this circus could stop laughing. Not the clowns in the audience. Not the cast members, that had been made from students. Not the ones that had come to try and stop it all, as the laughter consumed them as well. Not even Saki, who had been made into the leader of the whole operation...
Not a single one. And as Yuuki was forced into the exact same getup as Rahaha, with her hair being tied up in a pair of ridiculous dusky twintails, there's no way that she would ever change her mind. She was more than happy like this...
The two pets soon stopped chasing one another, resulting in the giggly clowns getting up on two legs and standing right beside Yuuki, each of them giggling. A dusky Jackal representing a laughable version of Anubis' most valued, and a dusky Sphinx who would never be able to give a single question, a much funnier fate than being a simple rocky doggy.
Saeko was no less pleased with her fate as everyone else. Sure, most of her face was covered up by the bandages that had been wrapped around her, but the colorful bands meant that she was just as much of a clown as the rest of them. And she was simply delighted, simply enthused beyond belief at this...
Ringleader Great Kanzei laughed as much as the others, and perhaps even louder so. She was very pleased with how the entire show had turned out. She could hardly even recall that she was supposed to dislike this. This had been a wonderful experience, and she would love to turn everyone into more of her audience. Or into cast members, should they truly get in her way!
The laughter was endless. The laughter was all consuming. All smarts, all worries, all concerns. All melting into nothing but endless, empty laughter. There was no need to worry about people laughing at you, because they weren't laughing at you exactly. They were laughing at your actions. Your act. You were just a player in the grand scheme. That was what let them disassociate so much...
And why they all just kept laughing. The laughter was deeply impersonalized, and that was why it consumed everyone. Even the culprit herself, Rahaha, just kept on laughing as her sunny spots shone bright...
She was the sun. And the sun demanded laughter. There was no need to cry, whine, rage or groan ever again. The only emotion that was permitted was laughter. Pure, unabated, unrestricted laughter. Aha... What a wonderful experience.
Sunako had been the one that many laughed at. And now they still did, but they did so because she wanted them to. And they would keep laughing, as long as they were under her spell...
Soon, the Sun of Laughter would shine over Mimoto. Forever more, driving everyone into this pure cycle of laughter...
Ahahahahahaha..!
