[Objectification, Hypnosis]

Thanks to the nature of the Skydoms, rumors and legends were quick to spread. There were so many islands that had not yet been thoroughly documented and forced into society, which meant that they still harbored all sorts of treasures and trinkets that would be easy pickings for those that were less than honest in their methods. But one of the greatest legends of all pertained to an otherwise harmless and unremarkable island.

On this island, where nothing but Harvin lived and thrived on nothing but the lay of the extremely fertile land, a Princess was born every few generations. While her body would be frail, her hair would be stronger than anything that any mortal being had laid their eyes on. Hair that would be able to cure diseases or defeat even the greatest enemy. Hair that had once been used by the Astrals to enhance the control that they held over their Primal Beasts, if you were to believe all the stories...

As for this generation's Princess, she wasn't too thrilled about all of it. She had already been mishandled by a bunch of bandits that were cruel enough to snip every little hair off her head. And she hadn't even gotten the chance to pay them back once her hair grew back. Even now, her hair was more than willing to shift into weaponized forms at the drop of a hat, once her thoughts turned to those awful bandits. Revenge had partly consumed her. But more importantly than that...

She just wanted to be free. She wanted to live on her own and not worry about her hair. It wasn't just because many people would want to hunt her down and take her hair for themselves, but the hair itself rapidly drained her. She was so lethargic, on the verge of tumbling over and passing out day in and day out. There truly was no escape in sight for her...

But that would all change when she woke up one day, and laid her eyes upon a rather noble looking Erune. A black-haired beauty that seemed to have seen plenty of combat, given the subtle traces of damage that hadn't healed. Both across her face, and especially across the back she was forced to keep uncovered.

"Princess Melissabelle." The Erune said, kneeling down before the hammock that the Harvin laid upon. A hammock that was made from her hair stretching out so far that it could be used to comfort her and support her. "I beg of thee. Please. Please allow me to cut a few strands of your hair."

Melissabelle stared at the Erune as she dropped from her hammock, the ends of her hair turning to blades and scythes for a moment. "What do you need my hair for..?" She wouldn't be this hostile normally. Even towards somebody that was this honest. But the encounter with those bandits still stung. And if she was allied with them, then...

"Please. My island, my kingdom, it is currently ailing from such a dangerous disease. If I do not acquire some of your hair, then we will be completely unable to thrive. My people will starve, or worse, turn into beasts thanks to this disease." The Erune said, as she bowed her head even further down. "Please. I beg of thee..."

Despite the nobility that radiated off the Erune, she was willing to lower herself this far. She was willing to completely and utterly debase herself for the sake of her people. It was an admirable display. One that she truly didn't expect to see from somebody that had come to snip away at her hair.

It caused Melissabelle's hair to slowly relax, with the Princess closing her eyes and sighing. "Do what you must. Just don't take too much. My hair has a mind of its own, and I can't guarantee what might happen if you do." She explained, her tone turning somber. "Many of my own people had once been harmed due to this. Especially after those bandits..."

Before she had a chance to finish, a subtle moan left her lips. Not because she had been assaulted or grasped in an inappropriate area. No, it was because of the brush currently being dragged through her hair. "W-What..? What's..." She didn't understand why having her hair brushed felt so good. It's not like she didn't brush her hair...

The Erune, who had quickly gotten back onto her knees after she had received permission to snip away a bit of that wonderful hair, smiled from ear to ear as she brushed the princess' delicate hair. "It's only fair that I treat your hair with utmost respect before I cut some strands off, Princess Melissabelle. Is it not?" She said, making sure to brush very carefully and very thoroughly. From the roots all the way out to the ends...

Melissabelle was both shocked to find that she was willing to go that far in exchange for just a few strands... And at the same time, wasn't really able to express that shock. It was like... It was like her thoughts were being brushed at the same time as her hair was. No matter, it was probably just the delight that silenced her. "V-Very well. Just... Just remember what I said..." She muttered, a blush working its way onto her cheeks.

"Of course, Melissabelle. I will be very careful, I would not want to hurt a single hair growing from your head..." She explained, as she continued to brush more and more. Dragging that brush through her hair in such a gentle manner, ensuring that there were absolutely zero knots or anything that could harm the hair.

The more she brushed, the more Melissabelle's eyes grew glazed and the more a blush formed on her cheeks. It was like... It was like she should be worrying about something, but she wasn't able to really put a finger on why. What was she supposed to do..? What was she worried about? Both were questions that she really didn't have an answer to. Perhaps... perhaps...

*Snip*

The sound of scissors snipping away at her hair echoed through her ears. And now it felt like something had been snipped away from her chest. It was like... It was like... What was it like..?

Melissabelle's eyes had dimmed in response to the ends of her hair having been cut. All while magic very clearly radiated from the strands that had fallen onto the palm of the Erune's hand. A sight that made the Erune very happy, given the gleeful yet sinister and sadistic grin on her face...

"Wonderful... Just wonderful..." The Erune muttered as she carefully put away her brush and her scissors, pocketing the strands as well. "Melissabelle, my dear. I am uncertain if I will be able to cure my people with just these few strands, yet I do not wish to snip more away. I would risk harming your hair if I did. But at the same time, if I return now and need more... There's no guarantee that I'll be able to make it back to you and then back to my Kingdom in time. Is it possible that you could come with me, at least until my Kingdom has recovered?"

It was a trap. Anybody that had ever been through a kidnapping, especially somebody like Melissabelle, should know that this kind of question was loaded. And yet her mind was not fully there. The look in her eyes was dull and empty, and she could barely muster a single thought that wasn't more than white noise.

So she relied on her instincts. And her hair, even after it had been snipped at the ends, had been charmed by the way that the woman had treated her. So the little Princess reached out and took the hand that was offered to her, a subtle smile on her face. "I... I will come with you..." She muttered in such a gentle and warm tone. She didn't see her as a threat. She hardly saw her as a possible enemy. She just saw somebody that had helped her feel good.

Of course she thought nothing of the sadistic smile that forced its way onto the Erune's face. And of course she didn't mind being lifted into her arms, carried like a child given their natural difference in height.

The Princess just closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep. As if her very consciousness had been snipped away by those delicate scissors...

---

"Good morning, my dear Melissabelle. Did you sleep well?"

Melissabelle slowly opened her eyes, blinking as the lack of harsh sunlight made it hard to adjust after the deep sleep she had been in. She was attuned to the harsh sunlight that came with living on the proverbial countryside, so to be within such a dark room like this... It was so different...

As for the Erune that was speaking to her, she had trouble recognizing her in full. Her heart and her hair told her that she was an ally, or at least somebody that didn't intend to hurt her. And yet, in her sleep-addled haze, she couldn't truly believe that. "Who... Who are you..? Where... Where am I..?"

The Erune bowed her head and smiled. "Indeed, we were not properly introduced. I do apologize. I had a feeling you would try to turn me away if I were to give my name, given my awful reputation." She explained, before adjusting her clothes slightly and bringing forth a rather shiny looking golden emblem that she had hanging from her necklace. "Does this emblem tell you anything, dear Melissabelle?"

Melissabelle stared towards the golden emblem, before shaking her head. "I... I don't know much about the world at large, I'm afraid. Is it really so dangerous..?" She paused, before part of her mind was able to further wake up. "Wait... If I knew who you were, I would've turned you down... What do you mean by that..?"

"The emblem represents a disgraced family of knights. One that had been wiped out about a year ago, courtesy of another Harvin with strength that far outclasses your own." The Erune said, her sadistic smile remaining despite recanting events that had personally traumatized her. "My family, the boys and girls that I was supposed to protect and rule over... All of them fell, because of one wrong move. We overstepped our boundaries, and before long, I was forced to watch them all either take their own lives... Or forced to do it myself. All due to that Harvin's powers."

A sigh left the Erune's lips, all while gently climbing onto the bed that she had placed Melissabelle within. A bed that was much more expensive and much more fit for a doll, rather than a living being like her. "It was because of her that I was left with this island. This Kingdom that was now devoid of its citizens. I was permitted to live, so I could recognize what a failure I was. And after stewing for so long, I heard about your hair. Hair that would allow me to take my revenge. All I would have to do was just strip all those hairs from your head. And yet..."

Melissabelle wanted to back away. But she couldn't. Not when the Erune grabbed ahold of the back of her head, and forced her to stay close. Her lack of energy made it difficult to fight back against her, and her hair didn't recognize her as an enemy either. So she was forced to keep listening...

"And yet I couldn't do that. I couldn't harm a hair on your head. My sweet little Melissabelle. You remind me of that Harvin. And you've made me see the truth. I don't want to hurt her. I wouldn't want to hurt her at all. No... I want to make her mine. I want to make her, and you, and every other beautiful Harvin in the entire world to be mine. And you, my dear sweet little Melissabelle.. You will make it a reality. You will make my dream come true..." The Erune explained, all while her eyes became more and more filled with obsession. Showing just how far she had fallen...

"You... You're just like those bandits... You're going to cut all my hair off..!" Her flight and fight had been triggered, and Melissabelle tried her very best to try and struggle. She wanted to harm the woman in front of her. She wanted to stab her, slice her, anything that her hair could do to protect her ran through her head in a vain attempt to make it obey.

And yet all that happened was the Erune slowly letting her hand run through her hair. Brushing it, just as she had done before. And almost immediately, all of those thoughts started to get brushed aside, as a subtle blush worked its way onto her cheeks. "S-Stop... W-What's... Happening..?" Even then, Melissabelle was conscious enough to try and understand why she was unable to fight back.

"I didn't take my time brushing your hair just to make sure I didn't hurt it." The Erune that had captured her explained, before gently taking hold of a few strands, making sure not to tug or otherwise harm them. "I wanted to truly understand the magic that ran through your hair. And while it can do everything that the legends say, those very same legends neglected one crucial detail... The emotions that can pour through them."

"Emotion..?" Melissabelle muttered, only to feel her thoughts being brushed away. This time due to the Erune bringing out her proper brush, and slowly and carefully brushing it through her hair. "S-Stop... Please... I... I..." She muttered, a few tears trying to run down her cheeks.

Only for that desperate sadness to be replaced by warmth and love. All thanks to the woman's other hand resting on her head. Ruffing the hair that had already been brushed. Filling it with the vague affection she held for the Princess. "Oh, my sweet little Melissabelle..." The Erune said, her own smile growing more and more sadistic by the moment, despite not harming a single hair on the girl's head. "You really don't understand your own hair. But it's okay. I understand. I understand completely. And I know how to handle you. I know how to make you understand. And all it'll take is a little more of your hair..."

Melissabelle could see the Erune drawing her scissors, and she wanted to get away. She wasn't allowed to get away. Not even as those scissors that were going to snip into her hair and take away more of it slowly approached. The closer it got to the ends of her hair, the more it felt like she should get away. Before it was cut...

*Snip*

But she couldn't get away. And as she saw her hair slowly start to drift down onto her lap, she felt... empty. All that worry was gone from her mind. She could just look at the hair, and she felt nothing.

"There. That's much better, isn't it?" The Erune that had captured her said, as she slowly put her hand on her head instead and slowly started to ruffle her hair again. Letting her affection pour in, filling the hair that had been stripped of its proverbial sustenance.

This was the truth of Melissabelle's hair. While it was able to do so many powerful things, its main sustenance came in the form of emotions. And while her hair was still attached to her head, it wouldn't pose as an actual problem. She would still be the same girl she always was. But if somebody brushed this hair, and forced the emotions out to the very tips... Then somebody could snip away those very same emotions and deprive both the hair and the girl of them. Which left the hair willing to take any kind of emotion as sustenance, and the girl in turn would feel the same emotions rush through her.

It was why, even though she had been captured and even though the Erune had made her plans very clear and obvious to her, Melissabelle couldn't help but smile softly as she looked at her captor. "Mmhm..." She muttered in a soft tone. She didn't really know what she was doing to her, nor that it was bad. She just liked the feeling pouring through her at the moment. Though it also left her really tired, no doubt due to the energy that her hair sapped from her...

Her captor nodded softly as she put her gear away, and gently wrapped her arms around Melissabelle. Hugging her like one would a doll. "Oh, my sweet little Melissabelle. I'm so glad you understand. You won't mind staying here with me forever and ever, right? You'll be here and keep me company and ensure I'll never ever be lonely, right?" The obsession was clear. The need for Harvin like her was palpable. And yet due to her machinations, it was absolutely impossible for Melissabelle to see her as anything but a positive presence.

The blonde Princess just smiled from ear to ear and leaned into her. Clinging to her and giggling softly. "Of course..." It was so hard to think for herself. But whenever she was close to this Erune that hugged her and kissed her and ruffled her hair and made her feel all sorts of fluffy inside her heart... She just felt that everything would be alright...

She had no way of knowing these emotions were born from being with the Erune. She had absolutely no way of thinking on her own, as long as the Erune was able to control the way her thoughts and emotions were developing. And she hardly could care. Right now, she felt like she was on cloud nine, gently nuzzling into the woman's bosom to get nice and close to her...

And slowly drift off to sleep, unaware of the cycle she had been trapped in...

---

Melissabelle's life, which has previously been full of joy, had slowly been stripped bare. There was very little that she was allowed to go through, especially without the Erune there to supervise it...

Every morning would start with the Erune gently brushing her hair. She would hear some strange voice going off in the back of her head. A voice that was very similar to her own, yet one that just wasn't right. But it was okay. Because as soon as the Erune brushed her hair and snipped a few strands off the ends, the voice would stop. And she would feel her love for the Erune grow yet again.

Even if she wasn't allowed to leave her bed, Melissabelle still needed to be dressed. And the Erune was more than happy to find the very best dresses for her. Dresses that had come from all over the world. But she was a precious girl. She didn't need to see those places. And her desires to go out across the skies were snipped away, just like her worries. All she cared about was how wonderful it felt to be dressed up like a doll.

Though the Erune didn't spend the entire day with her, she gave her something to pass the time. A simple music box. Just listening to the tune play over and over kept her entertained. The subtle tones echoing through her empty mind. And before long, an entire day would've passed. And then finally, the Erune appeared again.

Just like in the morning, she would dress her up. This time, in her usual nightgown. One that was just right to sleep in. She would never want her sweet little Melissabelle to be in discomfort. Especially when she never left her bed.

Once she had been dressed back up, and the Erune had hugged her and filled her with love, it was time to snip off the ends of her hair again. The voice only just came back, but it wouldn't be able to form a proper sentence before it was brushed aside and snipped away again. Sometimes, Melissabelle wondered why there was a voice in the first place. Whenever she expressed this, directly to the Erune as she had been taught, the Erune would smile and give her a kiss on the cheek. And then she'd help her get rid of the voice more permanently.

She'd wash her hair. She'd scrub it. She'd make sure that every little individual strand was as clean as it could be, before brushing her hair back to its proper pristine position... And by that point, the voice would be gone. But just to make sure, she'd snip the ends. That way, she wouldn't hear a thing. All she would hear would be just her sweet caretaker, the Erune that loved her above all else.

And then it was time for bed. She'd drift off and sleep. And have dreams about being with the Erune for all eternity. She wanted to be there for her. As the doll that she loved. Why did she think of her as a doll in her dreams? She wasn't sure, but there was one thing she knew.

She loved it... She loved it so much...

---

"You're leaving..?"

Melissabelle was shocked to hear that. Why was the Erune going to leave? Why in the world would she leave her alone like this..? She thought.. She thought that she was going to be with her for all eternity...

"Not for long, my sweet little Melissabelle." The woman said, making sure to hug her tight and kiss her right on her head, sending her love through her hair. "I just need to bring you some company. There are so many more Harvin that need to understand the kind of love that I have for them. And you'll help me along the way."

As she pulled back and Melissabelle wiped away the subtlest tears, the Harvin noticed a bangle made of hair. Painfully, tirelessly tied into a beautiful form. She could tell that it was her hair too. Which meant... "...I'll be there and help you while you're away..." Even in this docile state that she had achieved by being utterly worn down by repetition, she understood what her hair was capable of. Especially since the Erune had reminded her of how much she loved her hair and how useful it was going to be.

"Indeed." The Erune said, kissing the bangle and giggling. "Your love for me, and the love I have for you... All of it is in here. And once another Harvin wears it, they'll understand our love. The love that'll be devoted to them as well. Doesn't that sound great?" It was such an obsessive plan, one that would've made Melissabelle freak out if it had been just a few weeks prior...

But now Melissabelle did nothing except smile at the prospect. To help her filled her with happiness. "Make sure to take good care of them... A-And be back quick, please." The slightest hint of obsession and need left her lips as she stared at the woman that had taken care of her. She didn't want her to stay away for long. Because then she'd miss her. She'd miss her a lot...

"I will. Don't you worry." The Erune chimed, as she held out the bangle. "Why don't you give it a kiss? I'm sure the Harvin I find will love you just as much as I love you." She offered her the chance to feel a little more of her love, before she'd be away on an extended trip.

Melissabelle didn't hesitate. She kissed that bangle. And she swore... She swore she could hear something. Just for a brief moment. But at the same time, she felt nothing but love. So it was probably just her mind playing tricks. So instead, she smiled. "Please stay safe."

The Erune smiled in turn as she took her leave. Locking the door behind her. To ensure that her sweet little Melissabelle wouldn't be hurt while she was out...

All so her most precious doll could stay safe...
