[Mass Twinning]

"Attacking your time."

"And attacking your heart!"

"You're watching Live☆Twins!"

Yet again, the Live☆Twins had started their broadcast. These cute young gals were virtual stars, streaming all across the world and conquering their hearts. Making them all believe that they were the very cutest around. And at the same time, serving as a cover for their true intentions. Not that anybody bothered to try and dig close enough to realize that they had no real sponsors or connections, which would make all the expensive stuff they did practically impossible.

The cheerful Ki-sikil and the stoic Lil-La. Pink and blue, joining forces to make everyone love them. At a glance, it didn't seem like they were a great fit for one another. But the way that they bounced off each other really served to emphasize just how much they knew each other and how much they could use the other to make themselves look better. Which mainly took the form of Lil-la taking the piss out of Ki-sikill's more energetic nature, making her seem like a colossal fool that didn't know any better.

"Time for the news, time for the news!" Ki-sikill giggled as she waved her legs back and forth on her chair. "News time, right, Lil-la?" She grinned from ear to ear. She had been waiting for this for so long.

Lil-la sighed as she took a seat by the desk they used for a couple of fun gags. "You sure you wanna do this now? Aren't we supposed to save the news segment for later?" This was a little unscripted. They had a lot of standard segments that seemed to follow a specific pattern, but after that Sunny bitch started to worm in on their territory they had to expand. Which included ripping on others through their news segment.

"Mmhm. C'mon. There's those real special news. You know the ones!" Ki-sikil was having a lot of trouble trying to keep herself from being too excited. She didn't get to try and tell people about these kinds of news often. So it was something she really want to get right!

Lil-la rolled her eyes as she grabbed a set of papers from the pile. "Oh. Oh no, Ki-sikil. Bad news." She said, trying to evoke some sort of shock in her stoic voice.

"Is it the Dawn Dragster?"

The blue-haired virtual entertainer stared at Ki-sikil for a moment. Just to make sure she hadn't heard things. Because that was one of the stupidest statements she had ever heard. "No. It's more than that. Besides, the Dawn Dragster was banned last week." She said, clearing her throat as she tapped her favorite shark on the back to make it project an image onto the wall beside her.

Thanks to the shark serving as a handy portable projector, it was easy for the two girls to see a bulging orb of light. Which was seemingly being streamed from its location. "You see this? Sophia's power?"

"Sophia? You mean that big horse bitch who made the world or something?" Ki-sikil replied, tilting her head slightly. "What's with all these worldmakers anyway. Between her and that old lady that got turned into a fairy." She snickered. Ah, there were way too many dull people around. And that meant she could make such easy jokes like these.

"That's her. Wonder how she died. Probably sent her off to the glue joint or something." Lil-la delivered some biting stoic commentary, before coughing and motioning to the screen. "Anyway, that got stolen. Gone. Kaput."

Indeed, the ball had vanished. And the chat started to explode as they hadn't even seen it vanish. It was like it was there one second, and gone another.

"Seriously?" Ki-sikill said with a mildly shocked tone. Almost as if she genuinely couldn't believe it.

"Seriously." Lil-a shot back, before shaking her shoulders. "I mean, I dunno who would want such power. It's not like this world we live in is that bad. We still have each other." She said, a hint of affection in her tone. The tiniest hint. Not much for her partner beyond that tiny hint.

Ki-sikil grinned and blushed a little. "Aw, maybe I shouldn't have swiped it then." She chimed, as she pulled it out. That orb of power that was meant to represent all the power that Sophia had available to both destroy the world and rebirth it in her image.

The chat exploded all over again, as Lil-la started to grin as well. "Ki-sikil, you were supposed to save it for the end." She said, before just shrugging her shoulders. "Ah well. I was getting tired of this schtick anyway."

"Me too, me too. There's only so much I can take before I start going crazy!" Ki-sikill said, as she snapped her fingers. "It's showtime, time to be unmasked!"

The lights in the stream went off, causing them to completely vanish. And when the lights turned back on, the studio that the two★Twins used to film had completely vanished as well, replaced with a tender night sky and the two girls standing on top of a skyscraper. Only, they weren't the same as they always were.

They were more defined. Less cartoony. And they were donned in the outfits that the Evil★Twins were rumored to wear... Which made the chat explode again. None of them could've anticipated this twist. None of them could've anticipated that Ki-sikil and Lil-la were actually meant to be those daring phantom thieves!

"Stealing your hearts!" Ki-sikil chimed as she spun around, running a finger along her oversized hat as her eyes shone behind her shades. No longer a Live★Twin, now just her true form as an Evil★Twin."

Lil-la was much the same, spinning around and posing dramatically as her eyes shone behind her shades. "Stealing your time."

"Evil★Twins, here to play!" They both chimed in tandem, with Ki-sikil laughing from the depths of her devious heart. All because of how easy it had been to trick everyone into supporting the two of them despite how obviously suspicious they were!

"So. About this thing." Ki-sikil said, as she brought attention to Sophia's power once more. The same power that was on the verge of breaking free as it rested on the palm of her hand. "What do you think we should do with it, Lil-la? We could remake the world in our image, make everyone worship us!" She chimed, rattling off a few possibilities.

Lil-la, however, had a much simpler solution. And it came in the form of suddenly wrapping her arms around her pink-haired companion, planting her lips up against hers and kissing her tenderly. Just as a lover would.

Ki-sikil was slightly surprised by this sudden turn of events, but she didn't push Lil-la away. Nor did she stop her from grabbing hold of the power that was meant to rebirth and reshape the world, both of their hands now resting on it.

"There's only one thing I would ever want to use this power for, Ki-sikil." The usually stoic blue-clad girl said as she grasped the orb tighter. "And it's to make everyone just like us. In every single way it possibly can." She was well aware of the consequences of something like that. She didn't care. She wanted this to happen. And she would make sure that it came to pass. No matter what.

Ki-sikil giggled as she felt the power in that orb start to burst open. "Alright. Then let's extend our show into the infinite beyond!" She laughed, raising the orb into the air together with her beloved Lil-la. "Our greatest heist!"

"The end of anything that isn't us!" Lil-la cried out, emotion bursting forth as she was overwhelmed by the wonder of making everyone just like them. It was going to be the most fun she had ever gone through.

And all the two Evil★Twins could do now was watch as the power flew into the air, and the world began to be reborn...

"...Say, Mystical. One question."

"Ah, Dark. What is the matter? Would you like to join me for a fun little game of poker? Or is there something burdening you?"

"I'm afraid I'll have to pass on the cards, Mystical. Because it seems like we might've just missed something important."

Two of the eldest Duel Monsters to currently roam the land, the Mystical Elf and the Dark Elf, served as guardians of important artifacts. This included Sophia's power, as well as whatever remained of the Zefra and the few pieces that remained of the Shaddoll Core. Among many other things.

And naturally, Sophia's power had been stolen. Which prompted Dark to try and seek out her good friend to figure out why.

"You remember how the Zefra asked us to keep track of Sophia's power, so that it wouldn't be misused? Like what almost happened during the Shaddoll and Infernoid crisis?" Dark said, as she carefully rubbed her cheeks. The more she looked at her dear friend, Mystical, the more that things felt ever so slightly wrong. And she couldn't put her finger on why things felt so wrong.

Mystical nodded and softly smiled. "Indeed. It was brought there by the Nekroz remnants, no? What's the issue then? Did it suddenly awaken and bring back that divinity?" In her time, she had seen many rise and fall. So the rise of another destroyer wouldn't be too surprising.

"No. Her power has been stolen. And it seems as if there's a pair of brats on the internet trying to abuse it. How they got ahold of it is anybody's guess. I just know we need to stop them before things get out of control." Dark explained, trembling a little. It was like... It was like a feeling of joy was pouring through her. A feeling that was making her giggle a lot more as she watched her...

Mystical took a moment to think. Then another moment. Then her eyes started to light up, before she proceeded to close them again and nervously giggle. "I... I believe I might know the culprit. Ehe." Strange. It felt weird to express her emotions. And when she looked at Dark, she looked a lot more energetic. Much more than normal...

"How do you know them? What, did you like, open the door and let them in or something? Or did you help them?" Dark said, her tone gradually getting more and more relaxed and normal. Totally excited though, especially compared to her usual self. Relaxciting. If that was even a concept. She didn't care if it wasn't, that was just how she felt.

"I opened the door when they asked. And then they knocked me out." Mystical said, her expression turning more and more blank as her hair went from blonde to blue. All while she hugged a shark plushie that had appeared out of nowhere. She didn't question it too much, because it was nice and comfy to hug. So she focused on what was actually important. Namely that they had kind of tossed themselves into a terribly difficult situation thanks to what she had done.

"Oh. My gosh." Dark said, before trembling a little and trying to get control of herself. "Mystical, things are happening. They're... They're using Sophia's power. I don't know what they're doing, but my heart really wants me to get more active and laugh more and act like a brat! W-What about you?!" Despite her attempts to control herself, she couldn't stop her hair from taking on a reddish pink hue. Matching that of one of the thieves that had been by to steal that power.

"Just... Just wanna sit and relax." Mystical muttered as she shrunk bit by bit. Until she was the same size as those toony girls that had been streaming the entire show. "Dun wanna be up on stage and filming..."

But she didn't get the chance to sit down. Dark made sure of that, as she kept her on her feet by hugging her. "Alright, listen, we'll do this one show, then we'll try and figure out what's going on. Yeah? The viewers probably know something. They always know a ton." She didn't even think about the fact that they had no show at all. Or that she wasn't actually who she looked like now...

Dark Elf had become the spitting image of Live★Twin Ki-sikil, complete with her personality turning a lot more energetic. And Mystical Elf became her partner, Live★Twin Lil-la. Complete with her slightly more adventurous personality being tempered and relaxed, to the point where it was easier to call her lazy in aspects.

Neither of them were even close to aware that they had been changed. As they had been caught in the wish that remade the world. Becoming cheeky little virtual stars, unaware that they weren't the real deal. Unaware that they didn't have the same kind of pull that the two had. They didn't care. They just had to film things and enjoy themselves.

And they weren't the only ones. There were so many more that had been changing. Both in this world, and far beyond, as the worlds beyond that were connected to this one were being remade as well...

Whether they were locked in combat, or currently at rest...

---

"Why do we have to fight!? You're like me, aren't you?!"

"Be quiet."

Two mortal enemies were locked in combat. Using their powerful armors to strike at one another again and again, clashing as they held tightly onto their respective beliefs. They were the Sky Striker Aces, and they were meant for warfare like this.

The girl that was doing her best to try and appeal to her enemy was Raye. A young girl raised for this role. Yet she didn't want to fight a girl that was just like her. No matter how many times her blazing blade clashed against her enemy, she tried everything she could to make sure she didn't hurt her.

Her enemy was Roze. Grown in a tube, born for warfare. And yet every time she clashed blades with Raye, it was like something throbbed inside her chest. This shouldn't be possible. She was a weapon. A machine made for war. And yet she could feel her heart pulsing. She could feel the need to... To... N-No. She shouldn't let herself be distracted by something so foolish!

"Your continued existence is a threat to my homeland. It's a threat to the world at large. You will stand down." Roze said as her suit enhanced her abilities, allowing her to dash right out of slash range before dashing back in, trying to slash straight through the girl...

Only for Raye to narrowly block the attack, the flames of her blade starting to pour out around her as they illuminated her face. "What kind of homeland raises a kid to fight?! I don't want to fight, and I don't want you to fight either!" The more she fought Roze, the more disillusioned she felt. She knew that she had to fight for the sake of her country, but that didn't mean she had to be happy about it. Especially when she...

Right as they clashed, a wave of energy rushed through them. And their suits started to malfunction in turn, causing them both to be knocked onto the ground. Despite the fact that they were more than ready to keep fighting.

"W-What's going on..?" Raye muttered, her tone getting a lot less emotional as she struggled to get up. It was like she had this wave of lethargy pushing through her. This wave of... Boredom..?

Roze panted as she tapped at her armor, trying to reactivate it. But it refused to do so. Treating her as if she was anything but a Sky Striker. Which served to frustrate her enough to rip and tear it straight off, tossing it aside. Unaware of the much more colorful clothes that she now wore underneath.

"You..!" She shouted as she came closer, blade still in hand. "If you didn't get in the way, I wouldn't be feeling so... so..!" She cried out, trying to properly process her feelings. She hadn't felt like this before. And she had a feeling Raye hadn't either. But that didn't mean that she was going to act on them or acknowledge them. "Just..!"

Raye wanted to try and block her attack, but she couldn't. For two simple reasons. The first was that the sword that was about to hit her wasn't a sword any longer. No, she had been completely stripped of any weapons. Leaving Roze looking like a pink prissy gremlin instead of a highly advanced and groomed soldier...

The second was that she didn't have anything to really block it with either. She had her shark, but that was about it. Even though holding this very nice, very squishy and very soft shark felt a little weird. If anything, she wanted to hug it and snuggle it and-

"Mine!"

Roze stole it. Right in front of Raye's eyes. Causing the blue-haired girl's jaw to drop in shock. She... She'd steal her shark!? No way! That wasn't fair! That was her shark! Her buddy! Her partner!

"Give that back!" Raye cried out as she got up, and immediately started to chase after her enemy. It wasn't fair that she was trying to steal her shark. That was her shark! And... She didn't actually know why she was so attached to that shark. She just knew that it was hers and that's why she wasn't going to be happy with it being taken from her!

Roze laughed as she ran off. Though it felt kind of weird to be laughing at something like this. It kinda felt weird to be laughing in general. She was taught not to engage with emotions. And yet here she was. Emotions were pouring out of every pore. Pouring out of every little action she took. And she didn't know what to say about it, if she should even say anything at all.

As the two ran around acting like a pair of good friends that had gotten into an argument about who was right and who was wrong, they began to resemble their original selves even less. More and more of themselves being overwritten like many others before them. Replacing the less emotive Roze with Ki-sikil, and the much more emotional Raye with her less emotive counterpart, Lil-la. Though the fact that Lil-la was willing to keep running after Ki-sikil once she had stolen her favorite shark proved that she was able to do a lot despite being supposedly unemotive.

"You're so faaaast! But you can't catch me! You're always going to be too slow!" Ki-sikil cried out as she ran even faster. It was so much fun bullying Lil-la. She was always so stoic, so having her explode into emotion, even if that emotion was pure hate, was all the more entertaining!

Normally, Lil-la wouldn't be able to run this fast. But she did everything she could to keep up with that awful, awful girl. Because she had taken away her beloved shark! She wasn't going to let her get away with this. She was going to get her shark back, and then... And then..!

Lil-la's mind was overcome with rage. Right up until the moment where she ended up accidentally tripping over herself. Crying out in shock as she hit the ground, and it hurt a lot, and she... Ouuuuch.

Ki-sikil turned around as she noticed that Lil-la wasn't chasing after her any more. In fact, she could easily tell that the girl had begun to cry. Which felt her heart with a smidge of regret. It wasn't fair that she was messing with her when she was like this. Because that just didn't make things anywhere near as fun. Once somebody cried, that was it. Game's over.

"Uuuu... Shaaark..." Lil-la muttered as the tears ran down her face. She just wanted her shark back. Whenever she lost it, she couldn't help but chase it down. That's how important it was to her...

So it was a surprise to her when Ki-sikil actually returned the shark to her. She looked up at her in awe, as if she had just been given a gift from god. She reached out, waiting for her to snatch it away and refuse to give it to her. But she actually allowed her to take it. Which made Lil-la cry even more as she hugged the plushie as tightly as she could. "Shaaaaaaark! Ehehehehe..."

Ki-sikil giggled as she watched her. Ah well. Her smile was worth it in the end. That always made things so fun. And yet, it was like something was nagging at the back of her head. Like she was forgetting something...

Eh. It probably wasn't important.

"Sorry about all of this, Ecclesia."

"It's okay, Albaz. I couldn't stand to see you all alone."

Ecclesia. Albaz. A member of the nation of Dogmatika, who had her Stigmata proudly displayed on her forehead. And a boy that had appeared out of nowhere, who had the ability to turn into different types of dragons to match his environment. They had formed an unlikely friendship, because Ecclesia watched the boy wander off. And she just couldn't allow him to leave all on his own. Her morality wouldn't allow it.

"You say that... But you're the one that's suffering by being with me." Albaz said, closing his eyes as he looked up to the night sky above. They had managed to the deserts, and they were arguably even more dangerous than the more devoted parts of Dogmatika that they were forced to run from. To think that beasts could be worse than man... Or that man could creep this close to being just as terrifying as a beast.

Ecclesia shook her head and smiled as she put her hand on Albaz's knee. "I'm not suffering if I'm with a friend." She said in the sweetest voice that she could muster. Which practically made her radiate light, showing just how kind and how tolerant she was. Which really made her stand out from all the people she had been close to.

Albaz blushed all over as he looked at her, muttering a few words under his breath as he tried to focus on the air above him. The lights of the stars. Shining down and guiding their way. Shining down... a lot harder than usual. Hold on, were they really stars, or...

His eyes widened. "Ecclesia-" Albaz cried out, as he tried to turn to her and warn her. Something was coming their way. Something powerful. Something even more worrying than the beasts that they had to take down. Something stronger than the Tri-Brigade that had allied themselves with the pair.

Only to blink as he saw a blue-hued girl hugging a shark in the place of Ecclesia. She was still vaguely recognizable as Ecclesia, given her hair and the look in her eyes and the lingering stigmata. But most of that was vanishing. "Hm? What's up, Ki-sikil? You're being really weird. Did you sleep right, or are you dreaming of some sort of weird stuff again?"

Her transformation had been instant. Leaving Albaz to simply gasp and pant in shock and awe. What in the world had just happened... And what exactly could he do to counteract it? He didn't have a lot of good ideas. What could he do...

It's not like he really had a choice in the matter. Because not long after he had seen what had happened to Ecclesia, he felt a powerful sensation spreading through him. A warm sensation. A sensation that was leaving him short of breath. It was... It was... It was..!

H-happiness... Giggles, cheer, all sorts of mischievous senses and thoughts. Ones that were overwhelming him moment after moment. He couldn't believe that these kinds of things were flowing around inside him. Not only that, but they were impossible to block out. Especially as he started giggling in this girly kind of manner...

"Ah, Ki-sikil finally went insane." Lil-la muttered as she munched from her favorite bag of chips, with her favorite shark currently under her arm. "Maybe that'll bring in more viewers. Having to part because you can't control yourself." She muttered, quietly chewing on more and more chips.

Albaz didn't understand a thing that was happening. Not that he was transforming into somebody else. Not that he was shrinking. Nor that Ecclesia had turned into this stoic cartoony brat. Not the happiness inside him that completely contrasted his own feelings. He was doing everything that he could to resist. But he couldn't really do it. All that happened was another giggle leaving his lips...

And then Ki-sikil collapsing onto the sand below her, his transformation having been almost instant. Gone was the ashen boy that had been doing his best to try and figure out his past. Gone was the girl that had joined him to protect him. Now there was only a pair of virtual entertainment gals, both of them currently ignoring what they were currently doing so they could keep being the girls they really were.

"Hey, Lil-la." Ki-sikil spoke up as she looked up at the stars above, grinning a little as they shone down on her. "You ever wonder why we're here?" She asked, snickering. "Y'know, here. Right here. In the sand. Not in a more abstract sense."

"You wanted to take a trip to a desert so you could brag on social media." Lil-la shot back, yawning a bit as she snuggled her shark. All while rolling onto her back, so she could look up at the stars with her fellow Live★Twin. "It's kinda nice out here. Even if we're so far away that I can't get a signal."

"A little bit of fresh air can't hurt us." Ki-sikil giggled as she turned her head to gaze at her blue-hued partner. "Besides. I'm glad you're out here with me, Lil-la. I don't know what I'd do if you weren't here with me."

"You're making it awkward." Lil-la replied, keeping her gaze up at the stars. "...But I'd say the same. You make it all worth it." She muttered in a quieter tone. She didn't want to make it more obvious that she cared for her.

Ki-sikil's eyes lit up, and she couldn't help but giggle a bit in turn. Sighing sweetly as she stared up at the skies above, closing them. Not realizing that she had once been a boy, nor that Lil-la had been a girl she had randomly encountered.

Right here, right now... Their bond was all that mattered...

---

"You know. There's something that's been bothering me a bit."

Back on the skyscraper, Lil-la spoke up as they watched the world change before their very eyes. All while she kept a tight grip on her dear friend's hand. So she wouldn't get away from her. So she wouldn't try to run away and deny her feelings.

"Yeah? What's been bothering you?" Ki-sikil asked, holding her hat with her free hand. Admiring the pretty lights as the world was reborn to be filled with her and Lil-la and nothing else. "I mean, what could be bothering you? We've won, we've made the greatest heist ever. And there's no way that we're ever going to run into trouble again. We're going to get all the views in the world, and Live★Twin will be a household name! There's absolutely nothing that could be bothering you!" She said, listing off all the good things that had come their way through this little escapade.

"Think about what you're saying for a moment, Ki-sikil." Lil-la said, as she let her legs hang off the edge of the massive building. "Because I think you'll find that a lot of that won't come to pass. And there's a good reason why it won't." She said, as she had already run the numbers. Even slightly regretting what she had done as a result.

Ki-sikil thought about it for a moment. Well, if everyone was meant to be her and Lil-la now, then they'd have plenty of people savvy with the net. So it wouldn't be hard for them to watch their show. But on the other hand... There was also no real reason for them to watch the show... Because... They were... Oh. Ooooh. Ohhhh.

"So... We're going to lose all of our subscribers and our viewers because they're now us, so they'll be streaming and won't get an audience and then we'll all end up languishing because we're basically replaceable?" Ki-sikil spelled it out, as she felt the weight of the consequences bearing down on her. "Ahhh... How didn't I see this coming? I really should've noticed, but I was just caught up in the rush of our theft! Sorry, Lil-la. I messed up!"

Lil-la smiled as she watched Ki-sikil take a seat at her side, before chuckling a little. "I never did say that you messed up. Just that it bothered me. If anything, the fact that I can have you all to myself is really nice. It means I won't have to share you with any of our viewers. And that means that we can do whatever we want. I know you've been thinking of a couple of fun ideas that you couldn't do on air because they'd cause us to get banned. But when we're the same as everyone else, who's going to ban us, and who's going to care if we get all touchy feely?" Lil-la laid out the reasons why she wasn't too bothered, before grabbing ahold of Ki-sikil's hand once more...

As she pulled her out into the air. The wings on their backs kept them afloat, all while Lil-la took the lead and held Ki-sikil in such a loving manner. It made the red-clad girl blush as her blue-clad partner was so close. Their hearts beating as one, as they too were affected by the world being reborn. They just didn't realize it.

Because it was not their bodies that were reborn. But rather, their love for one another. Their relationship was taken to a new level that could only come to pass in a world like that.

Thus, the world's greatest heist came to an end. And a world of full of Live★Twins was born...
