[Maid TF, Corruption, Tokusatsu Themes]
"I don't get it. I've been doing good! I've been making lots of Pawns, lots of Jõtaijin, and she tells me that's not good enough?! Come on! Cobra's doing worse, he's the one always lounging around with that sick and twisted grin on his face!"
General Spider was not in a wonderful mood. She was in a downright dour mood. And it was all thanks to the fact that her direct superior within Golden Freedom, Baroness Bat, had told her to turn more people into Jõtaijin. Because she apparently 'had not done enough lately'. Bullshit! What had Bat done? Nothing, at least compared to her!
It frustrated her a lot. Even more so as she felt a slight shiver run down her spine, courtesy of a really chilly wind pushing past her. "Great, it's cold too. Winter, stay away, I don't want your cold snow to ruin anything..." Spider muttered to herself, as she reached up to readjust her hat.
Only, her hat had been blown off. Or rather, it was... Floating? What in the world? Hats couldn't do that. And she was pretty sure that she hadn't taken the time to make yet another invisible Jõtaijin. That last one, she wanted to forget all about. The amount of pics of her panties that ended up on the web... It was a good thing that had contacts that could help scrub them, otherwise she might lose even more credibility.
Spider blinked a few more times, as a finger gradually became visible within the hat. Then an arm, and then a full girl dressed in a brown dress with a soft red shirt, with a plaid cape hanging from her shoulders. Or was that a shawl? Hrm. It was nice looking at least, that much was certain.
"Sorry about that!" The girl, a redhead who had no doubt chosen her taste in clothes based on how well they went together with her hair, tossed the hat back to Spider. "I kinda get lost in thought and start drifting, and don't realize when I've accidently blown something off people's heads. It happens." She apologized to the General, unaware of who she was, as well as what she had just stumbled her way into.
Spider caught her hat and fitted it back on, grimacing as she stared at this new girl. The vibes she gave off were... Far, far too fresh. Like a morning breeze. But a foreign morning breeze, one that didn't belong to this world. Not unlike... No, she wasn't one of them. Probably. But that didn't mean she could allow her here.
"Who are you?" Spider asked a very simple question, putting one arm behind her back and her other hand into her pocket. Assuming a suspicious yet passive stance. With any luck, it would lower this girl's guard as well.
"Me? Oh, right, this isn't actually my Earth. Still gotta get used to that." The redhead said, before brightly smiling. "I'm Madeline Carter. But you can call me Maddy too, that's perfectly fine." She didn't really feel any malicious intentions from the strange militant. If anything, she seemed kinda... Pitiable? At least, she gave her that kinda vibe.
Spider grimaced even further. Mainly because she could see that sense of pity in the girl's eyes. She was an outsider. A stranger to this world. And she'd pity her? That was even worse than that annoying hero doing it! Alright, that does it, no more patience. Instead, she'd do this the quick and easy way.
She cleared her throat and crossed her arms. "I am General Spider, of Golden Freedom. And from today onward, you will be aiding us in bringing freedom!" She shouted, as a veritable whirlwind of silky strings shot out from her back and wrapped around the redhead.
Maddy was caught off guard ever slightly, and that was all that Spider needed. As soon as Maddy tried to use her abilities, she left herself open for the purple-haired General to slip a ring onto her. And once it clamped down on her ring finger, the intense vibes that came from that Jõtai synergized with her, sending out a massive blast of wind...
One that served to send Spider flying as well, the general crashing through a tree from the sheer potency of that blast. She cursed aloud, but took the opportunity to escape. She had done what she had been asked to do. Make more Jõtaijin. What came next? That was not part of her duty. She just had to keep making them!
"Oh... Oho... Ohohoho!"
A deep, powerful and potent laugh echoed through the air. As if the wind itself was reborn, now filled with a need to subjugate...
---
"What happened to you, Saeko?"
"Just... Just a little accident at home. Nothing to worry about, Yuuki-senpai. Really, I promise. It's nothing serious."
"You say that, but you're wrapped in bandages, Saeko. If you want to feed Yuuki a lie, it has to be one that isn't as easy to guess your way around."
Saeko trembled a little as she felt her aching body whining, all while her other senpai, Saki, talked down to her. She was lucky that she happened to be nearby after she had turned back to normal. Especially since it had hurt a lot more to get slammed through a tree than she ever would've expected.
Yuuki crossed her arms as she stared at the bespectacled girl, then at the Student Council President herself, before patting Saeko on the back. "Well, it's what she's saying, so I believe her, Saki. Besides, even if she's speaking the truth or not, she is still hurt. So cut her some slack!" The white-haired girl said as she smiled, keeping the small girl close by as she softly laughed.
The lavender-haired girl blushed as Yuuki held her. It was always so nice being held by Yuuki. To the point where she thought she should've probably tried to make her turn to her side as well. But... At least she had this. This was fine...
Saki watched her fellow Student Council members with a smile on her face. Sighing as she gazed upon the ring on her ring finger. That ring that allowed her to transform into her own Jõtaider form. The one that allied her with Golden Freedom. Spider... Saeko had been the one to gift her this. And she had taken that invitation wholeheartedly. Wanting to step up to the plate to defend the ones she held near and dear. Put that annoying Mikai out of her misery so she too could understand that she needed to be protected. And yet the girl just kept getting up again and again. It was frustrating beyond belief.
So she decided to do her best to think about other things. She wasn't in the mood to hunt her down. Not yet. "Yuuki, what's the budget for the festival? Or is it being handled by the Tachibanas again?" The Mimoto Festival was a grand event, and Mimoto Highschool always chipped in. But lately, their efforts were being eked out. Whether by Atlas Corp themselves, or the Tachibana family and their estate...
"Seems like it." Yuuki said, as she reached towards the stack of papers that had yet been sorted through. She had been putting it off, because she had been making sure that her younger sister had recovered from that... that stuff. Whatever that was. "Why, you wanna help directly?"
"Not particularly. I never was one for the limelight in that sense." Protecting people was one thing. But Saki didn't need to be visible while doing it. Being the lone defender, always omnipresent was important. Just like the wind. Invisible, yet always there to-
"OOOOOOHOHOHOHOHOHO!"
All the windows in the Student Council lounge slammed open as winds blew inward, a loud and regal laughter echoing through the air... No, the laugh itself was the air. Because the more that the air blew into the room, the louder that laugh became.
"What? What's this, is the wind suddenly a Jõtaijin or something?!" Yuuki shouted, not really too bothered by the cold chill pouring in. She was part Yukionna after all, and her heated heart full of Passion would ensure that she stayed nice and warm whenever the cold tried to claim her.
Saeko, by comparison, was not so lucky. She was clinging to Yuuki, even trying her best to snuggle her way under her Senpai's scarf. Just so she wouldn't have to deal with the cold. It was too, too damn cold...
Saki narrowed her eyes as she could immediately feel the presence of a Jõtaijin. Well then. Somebody had made one. And they decided that the best way to mess with people was to attack them? It seemed as if she'd have to have a long talk with whatever part of Golden Freedom had let this one be made. Because they needed to remember. She was there. And if they just so happened to get in her way, then she wouldn't hesitate.
The laughter grew louder and louder as the winds all coalesced into one centralized form, the form of a beautiful and dominant rich girl that was now standing in the back of the room, covering her face with a fan as she continued to laugh from the depths of her corrupted soul.
Saeko instantly recognized her. It was the girl that she had given a ring to. But she wasn't supposed to end up this strong just because of a single Jõtai. Had... Had it synergized with her wind, somehow? Or something like that? She wasn't an expert with regards to using these damn rings, how was she supposed to know?
"Kneel before me, peasants! Kneel down and serve me, let Windstress' winds blow through you and clean you of all that terrible filth that make you so unclean!" The elegantly dressed Windstress declared her name, all while the winds continued to blow around her. Winds that kept sounding like she was laughing. So really, she was still the wind. She just had a body to talk through, so she could mock them from several angles at the same time.
Saki narrowed her eyes as she slowly backed away, only to get stunned by the sound of laughing echoing through her ears, and get knocked forward in the process. And yet she did her best to keep standing, no matter how much that laughter was making her wish to kneel.
Saeko was not so lucky, the wind hitting her back and immediately forcing her onto the ground. Kneeling before the Windstress, with Yuuki following suit. "Y-Yuuki-senpai..!" She cried out. She didn't want to get her involved in this... Not when she wasn't being dominant. She much preferred seeing her as a Jõtaijin rather than a minion!
"Geh... This wind's giving me a real headache..!" Yuuki cried out, as she tried standing up. But that just resulted in her being stuck to the ground still, the wind keeping her down. And that infernal laughing wasn't helping either. "Stop laughing, what's so funny!?" She shouted, trying to make ice spread across her body to make her more aerodynamic and therefore have an easier time moving...
Only for Windstress to bonk her on the head with an umbrella made from the swirling winds that made up her body, causing those very same winds to spread onto Yuuki and keep her grounded. "How rude. I didn't tell you that you were permitted to speak, peasant. Wait for your turn, or shut up!" Windstress huffed, brushing a hand through her long beautifully windy locks. "This world is so wrong. But I will blow my winds through it and fix it. And to do so, I need more winds. You three, as disagreeable as you may be, will do well. As my maids, as my loyal winds!"
"I will not submit..!" Saki cried out, as she tried to let her will flow out. She wasn't going to let a mere Jõtaijin take over. Not when her dear friends... Not when Saeko and Yuuki were in danger..!
But perhaps unleashing her darkness was a terrible idea. The winds latched onto it and started to swirl it around her, spinning her around. And she wasn't the only one who was being spun around by her power. So was Yuuki, the ice that had grown on her body being used to spin her around and around. Saeko too, the slightest hint of a string growing from her fingertip was used to spin and spin and spin her around and around...
Until the three girls had been spun so much that it was hard for them to tell what anything was. But what they could tell was that they were dressed in maid outfits. One that matched their element. A very nice and icy dress for Yuuki, a dress with a very threaded pattern for Saeko, and a deep black uniform for Saki complete with long black stockings and her hair even having shifted to be black as well.
They looked... Rather identical now even. Saki's long hair had been replicated on her friends, leaving them all looking like palette swaps of one another. And since they saw that they were maids, and that they looked like one another, there were very few things that they could do besides accept their new selves. And what better way to accept those selves than to just... kneel down...
After having been spun around and forced back onto their feet so they could give their new selves a good look, the three maid sisters got down on their knees. "We serve, Windstress." They spoke in unison. Because of course they did. She was their mistress. And they were loyal maids. That was what the wind that had spun them around and fixed them up told them. How could they possibly think otherwise?
Windstress laughed as she watched the three girls act so obedient, as she slowly gazed towards the world outside. It wasn't her Earth. Much less her time period. No matter. She would fix everything. And in due time, she would rule it all too.
Thus, she laughed. Letting the wind carry it all throughout the city...

"I didn't know the wind could laugh, Yumeko!"
"It can't, Mikai. But I'm glad you noticed. This is definitely caused by some form of Jõtaijin, so you best be on your guard. We don't know what they're capable of."
Mikai, already having transformed into Mimoto, had been heading straight for the source of all that laughing. And Yumeko was actually trying to keep up, running after her instead of just leaving cryptic messages about new Jõtaijin on her phone.
"So why're you coming with me, Yumeko? Isn't it going to be dangerous?" Mimoto naturally spoke up, using her Blast Eagle form to easily navigate the winds so she didn't get caught by them or blown back to the point where she couldn't do anything. While also keeping the winds from doing things to Yumeko. Wouldn't want a good friend like her to get hurt again!
"It may be dangerous. But if you get turned, who's going to be there to save you? Hiro's currently dealing with that arm of hers, so..." Yumeko said, before chuckling a little. "Let me just worry about you and still stay close to you. Alright?"
"Sure!" Mimoto chimed, before swooping down and wrapping her arms around her friend. "Then let's not waste any time, we're going straight there!" She roared, as she flapped her wings as much as she could. Using her full wingspan to flap as hard as she could..!
Which dramatically reduced the time it took to get to their destination. When Mikai put her mind to it, she could do a lot of things. That was part of what made Yumeko so proud of her. But right now, they had to focus. What kind of Jõtaijin was running amok?
Well, a glance at their school having been changed to a massive manor, staffed by so many different maids, definitely seemed to indicate that the Jõtaijin was some sort of rich girl. Agatha, maybe? No, she wouldn't abuse maids in this way. And what Yumeko knew about her easily told her that she wouldn't turn into this kind of Jõtaijin...
Mimoto listened to the laughing wind, before tightening her arms around Yumeko. So tightly that she was definitely going to brace her if they happened to crash a little too hard while descending. "You trust me, right, Yumeko?" She asked, just in case.
"Always and forever, Mikai!" Yumeko didn't hesitate, wrapping her arms around her dearest friend and clinging tight. It was going to be a bit bumpy, but she could handle that. As long as it meant that everything had a happy ending!
Mimoto flapped her wings as hard as she possibly could, before dive bombing down towards the Student Council's lounge, slamming straight through the wall. Well, where she thought it was in relation to this new manor. She could be off by a bit, she wouldn't know!
Thankfully, it seemed as if she had pinpointed the right spot. Because after the wall caved in, courtesy of her slamming straight into it and leaving a pretty big hole where she had made her entrance, she saw three familiar looking girls, as well as a definitely not-familiar girl in the back, currently using a couple maids as a throne.
"You! I do not know who you are, but you're interrupting my privacy!" Windstress shouted as soon as she saw Mimoto slam in through the wall. "Maids! Apprehend her, so that I may blow her away and deal with that terrible personality she no doubt carries within!"
Mimoto let go of Yumeko, who kept her eyes on the Windstress while her friend went to work. All while narrowing her eyes a little. Where had she seen somebody like her before? It was faint, but she swore she could recall a girl like her. An adventurous girl who talked far too much for her own good...
Saki, Yuuki and Saeko all got in Mimoto's way, each wielding maid gear formed by their mistress' wind. "Sit still and be cleaned, birdie." They spoke in unison. Mostly using Saki's voice at that. As if they had become Saki... Or that Saki was the basis for their current form.
"Saki-senpai! There's three of you! That's two many!" Mimoto shouted, as she quickly jumped out of the way of two mops being lunged at her. She really didn't want to hurt them too much, and she didn't want them to suffer from the after effects of being converted into minions. So she stuck to what Seiryu had told her!
Light poured forth from Mikai's chest, as she pulled out her Unicorn Blade. And in the process, that light consumed her armor, transforming into the white and pink Light Unicorn form, allowing her to access the full power of her own light. "Sorry about this, Saki-senpai! And... Saeko-senpai? Yuuki-senpai?" She didn't really recognize the white-haired maid and the lavender-haired maid. But she was still going to rescue them. Even if she wasn't sure who they were!
The three maids stared straight at the light, before Saki leapt onto the shoulders of her fellow maids. They were sisters. And through the power of sisterhood, they would utilize their combined winds. "Delta Hurricane!" They shouted in unison, as the winds that were given to them by their mistress-
Were cut straight through, and so were they. The winds that corrupted them were quickly forced from their lungs, causing their respective powers to unravel and leave them wearing nothing. Whoops, Mimoto might've just cut them a little too hard when she cut them down...
"What?! What is that power!? How can you cut through the wind?!" Windstress cried out, as she started to unravel. "You won't be able to cut down a hurricane, nay, a tornado, nay, much more than that!" The regal Jõtaijin boasted, as she quickly intensified as the walls were struggling to contain the fury that she was being converted into.
The walls might not be able to handle her. But Mimoto stood her ground, tossing her blade into the storm that was approaching. "UNICORN BEGINNING!" She roared, as light burst from within the sword. Making it erupt into light, which quickly merged with the wind...
And locked it in place, compressing it back into the form of Windstress, who was now kept wrapped up by a set of light-filled chains. "How!? HOW!? THIS IS CHEATING! I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO BE BOUND! I'M FREE! THE FREEST WIND!" She ranted, screamed, and generally refused to accept defeat.
Mimoto ignored her pleas, as she carefully walked towards the enemy. Light gathered in her foot, as she grinned a little. She always wanted to try this kind of finisher, after Tsubasa had shown it to her. If only she could record it. He'd probably love it!
"UNICORN ENDING!"
Mimoto swung her leg around, roundhouse kicking Windstress and knocking the Jõtai Factor straight out of her, causing everything she had done to immediately be undone. Well, most of it. The school certainly turned back to normal, but all of the maids that hadn't been defeated by Mimoto were bound to be extra submissive and obedient for the next little while.
Yumeko's eyes widened as she definitely recognized the redhead that hit the ground. Carter... She had found her way to this world. Impressive. Or perhaps just another accident. Either way, no wonder the Jõtaijin happened to be so wind themed on top of being regal.
Mikai's armor disappeared into light as she kneeled down and helped the freed redhead up. "Sorry about the kick, had to make sure I got all of that bad stuff outta ya." She said with a smile. "So, who are you? I've never seen anybody like you around. Are you from another city?"
Madeline groaned as she slowly rubbed her head. Her throat was sore, and she could still hear herself laughing. Also the slight ache from getting kicked like that. "I'm not from here in general, actually. Try like, another Earth entirely." She said, cracking a bit of a smile. "That was some real cool stuff you did. Shame it had to be done to me!"
"Yep! Real shame-" Mikai said, only to suddenly lose grip on Madeline, as the girl seemingly vanished into thin air. "Eh? Eeeehhh? What, did I do something wrong?"
A soft laugh echoed, and Madeline rematerialized in a gust of wind. Dusting herself off slightly as she was the one to offer Mikai a hand this time. "Sorry, just had to make sure that things still work as they should. The last time I ended up transformed in another world, I couldn't turn back for a week!"
Mikai blinked, and then laughed as she took her hand. "Cooool! I'm Mikai, by the way! Happy to have helped out!" Always so excitable, especially when she met brand new people.
"And I'm Madeline Carter. Maddy'll do!" Maddy laughed alongside Mikai, helping her up and sharing a quick hug. Well, Mikai mostly just hugged her. She just wasn't the kind of gal that would turn down a hug and not give one back.
Yumeko sighed as she watched the two, before pulling out a small book. Flipping through the pages, before nodding to herself and stuffing it back into her pocket. If Carter showed up here, then the appearance of the Darkness definitely wasn't a one off.
All she could hope for was that the girl would head out as quickly as she had appeared. Because if she were to be part of what was about to go down, there's no way that she could guarantee her safety too...
What none of the three knew was that a certain muddy-haired girl was watching them from the doorway. Giggling a little to herself as she saw Mikai make a brand new friend. What a nice little bond...
Would be a shame if something happened to it...
