"My my. What a clever little boy you've been."
Standing right outside the window, as the light shone upon her body and illuminated her, was Baroness Bat. The second-in-command to Golden Freedom, and a woman that showed quite a lot of mercy to the ones that she blessed with a Jõtai. And here she was, softly gazing upon the young man that had gotten a little too close to the secrets that she had done her best to keep hidden.
Albert felt the sweat running down his head as she forced her way inside. Not by breaking and entering, but rather by slowly forcing a small bat through the gap in between the window and the frame, and then using that expanded gap to flood inside by turning the rest of her body into bats. All so she could reform and sit upon his windowsill with a soft smile.
"B-Baroness Bat. T-The great Baroness Bat..." The young man muttered as he did his very best to stay composed. "I-I... I'm-"
"You want to turn your findings over to me, don't you? You've been working very hard, Albert." Bat preempted him as she chuckled softly. All while she gently crossed one leg over the other. "However, I must say that I'm not too pleased with the fact you neglected the rest of your studies just to research everything you could about me and the others. I'm a little ashamed to see you delve that deep."
Albert rapidly blinked, before the gears inside his head started to grind and click. If she knew that he wasn't studying, and... And... Oh god, he had overlooked one of the most crucial clues! "You're the Principal!" That's it, that's why she was rarely seen on the school grounds, it's because she was busy with her duties as part of Golden Freedom!
Bat softly clapped her hands together. "Your research went that in depth, did it now? Indeed, I am your dear Principal. Admittedly, I haven't been keeping tabs on you as much as I should've, but I would like to rectify that." She cleared her throat, as she climbed off the windowsill and walked towards the young man. Letting the soft click of her heels accompany her swaying assets as she procured a ring from her bosom.
"A Jõtai... A-Am I really worth that?" Albert wasn't truly sure if he had what it took to become a Jõtaijin. Especially since his skillset was better for information gathering and investigation. Not exactly prime material for a Monster, much less one in service of the four that he had such respect for.
"Everyone deserves a chance to take control of their lives. You are no exception, Albert." Bat replied as she offered him the ring, before letting her smile widen. Not a trace of hostility, nor a trace of seduction present. "Whatever you wish to do with the power granted by this ring, I will not stop you. If you wish to turn against me at the eleventh hour and help Mikai, then so be it. Just make sure that your actions reflect your true desire. I couldn't ask for more."
Albert listened to her words, and nodded softly in turn. And without a moment's hesitation, he slowly slipped the ring onto his ring finger, making sure to picture his future actions in his head. He'd support the ones he respected... But more importantly, he'd be there for her. That support of hers was enough to remind him of what was truly important...
The golden trinket started to swallow him with its glow, his silhouette quickly slimming up underneath the glow. All while the important parts of his body grew nice and curvy, especially his bosom. Growing bigger, heftier, milkier, everything that would make it a good set of breasts for a wonderful lover to admire...
And once the glow shattered, Albert's new self was revealed to the world. Just like the other transformations that Bat had enabled, the transformation was a lot more subtle. The fact that he had transformed was arguably the most drastic element of his transformation... That, and the vampiric wings that were wrapped around her waist that formed a very tiny and arguably too revealing skirt. Combine that with the fact she was wearing a suit top that did very little to hide away her bosom, and the bat-themed bra that she showed off so brazenly, and she looked less like a student and more like a secretary. A Sexretary, if one had to be particular, considering the way she was willing to show off her curves to Bat...
The reborn woman kneeled before her Baroness, clearing her throat as a pair of bat-winged spectacles formed on her face. "Baroness Bat. I, Countess Alucardia, dedicate my entire life and being to serving you and Golden Freedom. For the sake of the freedom that all beings deserve, I will grant the world its true self. All so that we may gain the allies that we need..." She was as formal as she was meant to look, with the hornier parts of her attire merely serving as a distraction. Not unlike her beloved Baroness...
Bat blushed a little in response to that kind of dedication, before reaching her hand out and helping the woman onto her feet. "You do not need to be so formal with me, Alucardia... But know that I truly do cherish the choice that you've made." She said, chuckling softly. "Is it too much to expect that you'll deal with those Jõtaider that have gotten in our way all on your own? Or do you need a little help?"
"While I believe I could do it all on my own... I also believe that you can fill a single role for me, my dear Baroness. After that, you leave it all to me. Both Mikai and Hiro will find that they've gone down the wrong path, and joining with us will make them see the light." The Countess explained, as she planted a gentle kiss on the back of her Baroness' hand while standing up. "Shall we?"
Bat's blush grew. Oh dear. She was going to have to reward her Countess quite handsomely if she was able to succeed...
---
"Oh, Jõtaiders! Aren't you going to stop me? I'm going to cause soooooo much trouble if you dooooon't!"
Okay, maybe she shouldn't have agreed to this plan. Being bait like this was... A little humiliating. At least it seemed to work, because Mikai and HIro were both hurrying in her direction.
"Bat! We were just enjoying our day off, don't cause trouble now!" Mikai shouted, not even bothering to transform yet. Mostly because Bat had been... Okay, she hadn't been the most reasonable. But she was definitely more willing to negotiate than the other two!
Hiro also wasn't pleased, though something did feel off as they chased towards her. "Mikai. Careful." She gave a simple warning, all while she reached for her gauntlet...
There was her cue. As the two ran towards her, Bat landed and quickly ran into the house of mirrors behind her, using her power as soon as the darkness of the building had wrapped around her so the two couldn't notice where she had disappeared off to. All they'd hear was her very fake 'Ohohohoho' echoing around them...
Mikai paused a bit as she stepped inside. Well, if she was going to be in a hall of mirrors, then... Might as well enjoy it? It's not like there was going to be any harm in enjoying her reflections. Probably.
"I told you to be careful, Mikai!" Hiro shouted, but by the time she did so, the girl had already disappeared in between the mirrors. Great. Now what was she going to do? It's not like she could just run through these mirrors and get ahold of her, breaking them would mean seven years of bad luck per mirror. And while she wasn't superstitious, there was a high chance that Bat had something prepared if she did.
The two heroines went down each their own path, hoping to find Bat before they'd end up finding the way out. All so they could give her a piece of their mind. After all, the woman had interrupted their day off!
Mikai was at least rather entertained by the various mirrors that distorted and played with her figure. Whether she ended up squished to the size of a midget, or looked like a tall string bean, or all sorts of other cute shapes, it was all really fun to look at. Maybe she could find one that made her look like Hiro. Wouldn't that be a hoot?
She looked and she looked, right up until she saw a version of herself that looked a lot more... Determined? A version that also had golden eyes. She wasn't really sure how she could describe that version, but it was definitely not something that a normal mirror should be able to show...
"That could be you, Mikai."
A soft whisper echoed through her ear, as she quickly whipped around to look at the source... Only to see more figures in the mirrors. More that looked just like that serious version of her. More and more adult too, each of them looking... Yeah, remarkably like Hiro. But she was still smiling. There was no sadness in her body. It was just determined, focused on a righteous cause...
"Who are you?" Mikai asked, as she tried to understand who was talking to her. She couldn't see them, but she knew that somebody was messing with her. Why else would all these girls look at her like that..?
"I am not important. But you are. And I just want you to be the best you can be."
Countess Alucardia's voice echoed out, as each of these versions of Mikai slowly walked out from the mirrors. All of them approaching the girl at the same time, none of them truly showing hostility. Their smiles were warm, just like hers. They were... They were her, weren't they?
Mikai shivered a little as they came closer, and let out a soft moan as they touched her. Why'd she respond this way? More importantly, why'd they... Why'd it feel so right to look at them and see herself? It made her heart feel all sorts of weird...
One by one, the other versions of herself vanished. Until she was looking at a single copy. The one that was currently caressing her cheek. All while she felt a soft set of arms wrapping around her, and a head resting on her shoulder...
As the last Mikai vanished, she was now able to see herself in the mirror... As well as the Countess hugging her from behind. Not only that, but her reflection still looked like her older and determined self, making Mikai blush more than a little. It felt weird, yet it felt right to see herself that way.
"You're a heroine, Mikai:" Countess Alucardia said, as her hand slowly caressed Mikai's cheek. "You should look the part... You should act the part... But more importantly... You should play that part. You know what to do, don't you..?" Her words were gentle yet sweet, and truly acted as some sort of poison. Especially considering her allegiance...
Mikai's eyes slowly started to turn gold, just like the image in her reflection. All while she trembled thanks to that sweet embrace. "I... I'm... Am I not a heroine..?" She muttered, trying to fight back. Ever slightly, though not enough to truly counteract the influence the Countess had on her mind.
"You are. But you could be so much more." Countess Alucardia said as she slowly planted a kiss on the girl's cheek, leaving a golden kiss mark that truly trapped her. Changing back would be impossible now, especially as the mirror now properly reflected the girl. "You could be bringing freedom to the masses... You'll help us, won't you, Mikai?"
A simple nod was all that Mikai could respond with, as her warm smile reflected her new belief...
---
"Bat! Come out!"
Hiro cried out as she clenched her fist. Alright, it was starting to get a bit frustrating to navigate all these mirrors. How come she got the section that made her look fat? And the section that inflated her tits until they were bigger than her head? It was the worst section for sure. If any of these reflections became real, then she was actively going to punch the mirror and stop these shenanigans before they got out of hand.
Which is exactly what she was tempted to do when she saw herself dressed in a black suit with a completely black bed of hair. A version of herself that seemed to never have joined Atlas... A version that never felt the despair that she had gone through. She grit her teeth as she reared her arm back, ready to slam it straight through.
At least, that was the plan. Right up until that reflection started to stare straight into her eyes. "Why are you trying to look away from what you could be, Hiro..?" It wasn't her voice. But her mind tried to register it as her own. Even if she knew that it wasn't hers.
"Whoever's playing a trick on me, I'm going to make sure that you end up with a couple broken bones for your trouble!" Oh, she was angry. Right now, she just needed somebody to punch. She needed to punch somebody for trying to fake her out with images of herself...
"Who's trying to trick you?"
The Hiro that she could be stepped out of the mirror, stepping closer and closer as Hiro refused to throw a punch. "Who's implying this is a trick? I am you, Hiro. And you are me."
"There's no way that you could be me." Hiro trembled as she looked at her living reflection. All while the will to punch her slowly died down. "I could never have... There's... I..." She didn't know the right words. All she knew was that she reflected a life she could've taken. A life where she wouldn't have caused all these problems...
"She might not be you at the moment. But you can still be her. You just have to work for it."
A warm set of arms wrapped around Hiro's waist, when she was at her most vulnerable. And though the skunk-haired woman could see the Countess in the mirror, her instinct had already died down. She just stared straight ahead at the glass, her heart beating subtly but powerfully...
"But... I'd be downplaying everything I've done... I'd run away from my responsibilities..." Hiro muttered as she looked at herself, both the reflected figure in the mirror and the particular version that stood right in front of her. "I don't want to abandon any of it. Abandoning it means that I would deny my true self."
"Changing yourself so you become the best you could be doesn't have to mean that you run away." Both the Countess and the Hiro in front of her spoke at the same time. "It just means that you strive to be better. Fueled by your mistakes, you aim to make up for them. No matter how." Their words were soft enough to swallow Hiro whole. Soft enough to break down her defenses and leave her ultimately vulnerable to the Countess' powers.
Hiro trembled all over as she slowly nodded. "Yes... Be better..." She muttered, her eyes glowing golden as her hair started to turn black, all while her own reflection walked into her. Stripping away the qualities that made her worse... Stripping away everything that made her anything but a good heroine that aligned her beliefs with Golden Freedom...
And as her transformation into a loyal heroine finished, however brief it was, the mirrors slowly lowered into the floor. All so Bat could take form once more, and reveal that both heroines had been staring into the same mirror from the opposite side.
"My my. Now that's quite poetic. To end up looking straight at your ally, and falling all the same." Bat muttered, just quietly enough that neither heroine would be able to pick up on it. "Countess. Hiro. Mikai. My loyal allies. Kneel before me." She gave them a simple command, emphasizing it by the soft clack of her heel.
Both of the converted heroines, now looking more like a pair of determined sisters, kneeled before their blonde Baroness. And so did the Countess, who blushed a little in the process. She had picked up on her Countess' words, and was rather proud yet embarrassed at the same time. To think that a plan of hers would receive the greatest praise...
"We swear to make Golden Freedom's goal come true..." Both heroines muttered in tandem, their golden eyes reflecting their new beliefs. All while they smiled up at their Baroness. A sight that truly pierced her heart and made her feel like they truly believed every word they said...
Bat blushed as their stares inflicted all the damage that it needed to. But she still had to reward the Countess for her good work. "Stand, Countess. Stand so that I may look you in the eye." She asked, and the Countess did as she asked. Not a moment's hesitation either...
It was only when Bat wrapped her arms around the Countess that the woman let her embarrassment be on display, her body trembling and her cheeks flaring red as the Baroness kissed her straight on the lips. Not just as a sign of affection, but a show of passion as she let her tongue slip past those lips. All while both of the converted heroines clapped, as if to congratulate their ally on making their Baroness that pleased...
Once Bat pulled back, she couldn't help but smile a little more. "My dear Countess... I believe you deserve a reward for your hard work. Me, Lady D'Or... And our new allies. All showering you in our love. What do you say to that?" She gave her a simple reward. An adequate reward too, considering what she had been able to accomplish.
The Countess remained silent, but the look on her face said it all. She would love it. And thus, Bat simply let her smile widen in turn.
What a wonderful Sexretary she had acquired...
