[Hypnosis, Brainwashing]
While most of Titan Industries' various efforts were domestic due to the nature of Trinity City, that wasn't the only thing they dealt in. They also dealt in general defenses, which was rather important considering the recent influx of extra-terrestrial forces. Somebody out in the grand expanse had decided that this little planet was perfect, and if not for the efforts of several Heroes and the Titan Drones that were always on standby to help with any attacks, the City might've actually fallen at this point.
As such, several extra squads had been commissioned. Both by Heroes that were generally against the kind of plans that Titan would brew, as they couldn't possibly protect everyone from this kind of invasion if it ever began to ramp up, but also by the general populace. Including a scientist that had started to try and decode the meaning of these invasions using her telescope and all the other equipment that she had at her disposal.
"Doctor Stratos, do we need to be here?" Though she was also quite the strange lady, considering she had decided to order a batch of Titan Drones that had a bit more autonomy than the rest. Which meant that a lot of them were currently loitering around the observatory as the strange scientist indulged her curiosities, something that really slipped by their general understanding of everything.
The Doctor herself laughed as she flipped up all the magnifying glasses that made up parts of her monocle. "Of course you don't, but I really do appreciate your company, T-1! So if you'd like to keep me company a little longer, I'm sure that I'll have something to tell you!" The mad Doctor cried out as she buried herself in her research once more, connecting herself to her enormous telescope using those glasses and the lenses within as a way to magnify into the very depths of space...
T-1, a rather bog-standard Titan Drone, nodded as she looked at her fellow Titan Drones. Due to the nature of this project and the funds that the Doctor had available, there were only three of them. And yet, only she seemed to be the one questioning anything going on. "T-2. T-3. Do you want to take a break?" She asked, in an almost humane fashion...
"Negative." T-2, who had a slightly thicker frame to show that she was meant for crowd control over fine-tuned combat, shook her head. "I will remain on standby until danger arrives. Then I will return to an active state, to ensure that I can perform at maximum capacity."
"That's a negative from me as well." T-3 said, carefully pulling herself off the couch that she had been introduced to after she arrived at the observatory. "I'm already busy with my most important duty. Getting familiar with human culture and understanding why exactly we end up fighting against Heroes." She explained, but those were merely just exaggerated words that meant that she really didn't want to do anything except lay on that couch. Which was why she laid right back down and almost powered off right then and there. Then again, she was meant for long range combat, saving her energy for better precision might not be a bad idea...
T-1 sighed. She didn't understand why they needed free will. Wouldn't it make them less efficient at carrying out their duties? They were sleek and constructed for a specific purpose. Apprehending unlawful Heroes and adding their powers to their databanks so they could use them for further apprehending. It was why all three of them had an icy powerset installed from the start, and yet...
It didn't feel like she was living up to her true potential. She just couldn't put her finger on why she felt this way. She needed to figure out why, otherwise she couldn't say that she felt satisfied. She really just... Needed to figure out this last little piece of the puzzle, and then-
"Eu... Oh, that's not Eureka! THAT'S BAD!"
The Doctor's voice echoed out, with only T-1 really taking the moment to react as the other two had gone on standby. They were less concerned with the impending danger or whatever might be happening, and more with what would happen after that.
"What's the matter, Doctor Stratos?!" T-1 cried out as she rushed over, nearly skidding on the floor. Which was something that she had to blame herself for, because she was the one that had polished the floors when she felt like she didn't have anything else better to do!
Ignoring the sight of T-1 skidding in the background, Doctor Stratos laughed with a mad undercurrent. "I've spotted a brand new invader! AND GUESS WHAT? THEY'RE HEADING STRAIGHT FOR MY OBSERVATORY! GET DOWN BEFORE IT MAKES IMPACT!" She shouted, all while leaping to the ground and quickly covering her head.
T-1 went wide-eyed as she did much the same, stopping and dropping and covering her head. She could fight against the invaders, yes, but she would need to survive the impact. And this was the best way to do so. She just hoped that it wouldn't ruin her functionality too badly, otherwise... Otherwise...
...Why didn't she hear a loud bang? She was supposed to hear a loud crash and bang, wasn't she? Like, the ground was supposed to shake after an Invader made impact with the Earth. All of their ships were designed like meteors, so they had to crash down before they would cool off and allow them to exit.
T-1 slowly but surely opened her eyes and climbed back onto her feet, as she stared out through the slit that the telescope pointed out of. And then she saw it, and her eyes widened further in abject shock...
It wasn't just a simple meteor-shaped ship. No, this was a much more advanced looking craft. One that was sleek, deep and black. And just looking at it was making her feel some sort of interference. It was like... Static was being beamed straight into her mind. It was very difficult to run the calculations she needed to stay functioning..!
"Doctor..! T-2..! T-3..!" She cried out, trying to bypass the way that her system was malfunctioning. But she didn't have many options. The best that she could do was simply send out a wave of cold energy. Hopefully it would reach the three, and then they could operate from there..!
T-1 shot a pair of powerful icy blasts at the ground, which each shattered on impact and turned into a misty wave of cold that spread through the room. Quickly blasting their way across the two other Titan Drones, as well as the Doctor that had spotted the Invaders. And while it could barely affect the Doctor who was still pinned to the ground thanks to the way that she shook around in fear...
"Threat detected!" T-2 shouted as she jolted to action, her muscles and general frame bulging to full size as she jumped into action. Only to blink as she was overwhelmed by the static as well as the sight of the space-faring vessel. "T-1! What in the world is that!? AND WHY WON'T THIS DAMN NOISE STOP!?"
T-3's arms turned into an elongated gun barrel as she let her communications die, cutting off the static as she aimed up at the ship. "Firing." She muttered, her laziness vanishing into the background as she fulfilled her main objective. Firing high-caliber ice blasts straight at the most dangerous threat.
The ship started to freeze upon being hit with one of those blasts, but that didn't stop the people aboard it. If anything, it made them more aware of the three drones. Which, in turn, caused the static to intensify and grow even louder, forcing its way straight into T-3's head instead of being transmitted through her communications module.
T-1 was forced onto her knees as she tried to suppress the noise. But it was like her mental modules were being picked apart one layer at a time. It was like all of her thoughts were being breached and erased. Her very sense of self being crushed by the pressure of the static...
And though T-2 tried to stay standing despite the way that her mind was being assaulted, it didn't last long. Not when there was a massive serpentine woman suddenly making her way into the observatory, wrapping tightly around the first victim she saw as she started to squeeze the life out of her with absolutely no care or will to hold back...
She was... A Lamia, of sorts. She was a lot more like an anthropomorphic snake rather than anything else, but due to the halfway split between humanoid elements and serpentine elements, Lamia was still an appropriate label. To think that they existed in the vast expanse of space wasn't too out of the ordinary, but to see one that was nearly big enough to fill the entire room, as well as completely coil around such a muscled drone like T-2, now that was a surprise...
T-3 tried to aim at her, to freeze her and free her ally from the massive snake's grip. But all that she could do was just simply lower her arm and... slowly enter a trance of emptiness. Her mind had been peeled away, and now there was no sense of independence left inside the drone. Just like that, her advanced free will had been stripped away.
"Mia. You're being sloppy."
A voice broadcast into the minds that were still aware of themselves, as a significantly smaller gray-skinned woman floated her way into the observatory. One that wore a dignified uniform that identified her as some sort of commander. That, when combined with the significantly inflated skull, seemed to indicate that not only were they important, but they had much greater capacity in terms of mental facilities...
The Lamia nodded, before squeezing tighter and causing T-2 to spark until she lost function, leaving her limp inside of those coils. "Apologies, Commander Sect." She muttered, trembling as her mind was given a suitable jolt by her commander. Allowing her to properly use the same sort of language as the ones that belonged to this planet, as well as exhibit the kind of dignity that she possessed.
"I tolerate your existence because of your performance, Mia. Do not fall short of them, unless you want to be left as little more than a stain on the side of the road." The decorated gray-skinned extra-terrestrial beamed her words into the brains of those around her, while slowly turning her attention to the Doctor that was still cowering. "Seize that intellectual. We need to probe her brains for more info regarding this planet. She would not seek us out without having ulterior motives, nor would she be keeping an eye on us if she didn't have plans in mind for our kind.
'Mia' nodded and saluted her Commander, before unfurling from the Drone that she had disabled. And then she started to coil her tail around the cowering Doctor, all to-
She went limp. Not because it had been cut, far from it. It had instead been blasted by a powerful shot of ice, one that stopped the blood from flowing into it. Even if it looked as normal as it could be, her ability to finely control the tip of her lower half was now null and void. All thanks to the remaining Drone...
"You... You are not hurting Doctor Stratos..!" T-1 cried out, her body sparking as she fought back against the influx of mental energy. That was what had caused the static. It was the presence of this Commander. By tuning her out, she was able to fight back. If only slightly, because her mere presence served as a source of pressure upon any vulnerable mind. And due to her nature as a recently developed mind, that meant that she wasn't exactly well-equipped enough to put up the proper kinds of defenses that she needed. She was vulnerable in every sense of the word.
Commander Sect glared down upon the mere drone, floating down towards her as her exaggerated skull started to pulsate with pure psychic energy. "Stand down, tool. Obey your new Master, just like your kin." Her voice echoed through the mechanical being's head, while also bringing attention to the two other Titan Drones...
T-1 could just barely notice T-2 and T-3 becoming active once more, and obediently saluting their new commander as their bodies turned the same shade of gray. They were completely and utterly conquered. Unable to do a thing except obey like the good girls they were. What a horrible fate for girls like them...
And yet she was forced to do the same. At least, that's what the pressure that was bearing down on her was telling her to do. She wanted to fight back. She wanted to... She wanted... She...
T-1's expression grew dim as she started to salute, her pristine white paint job slowly turning a dull gray like the color of her Commander's skin. All while her existence became little more than obeying her Commander. Like a good Drone should.
Commander Sect smiled, before turning her attention to the Doctor. "What fancy toys you have. Meager tools that cannot stand against one such as I. Now, stand up, Human. I will pry the information that I need from your brain... No, from your very soul."
As T-1 could just barely hear the sounds of Doctor Stratos doing her best to fight back against the pressure trying to pry open her head, the Titan Drone just kept on saluting. Like she had no control over herself. All while the core of her free will...
Remained... Intact..? No, that wasn't it. It had been freed from the layers upon layers that restrained it. And because she gave in for a brief moment, the Commander neglected to finish the job. And as such, there was room for T-1 to grow. There was room for her to... become what she was meant to be.
T-1's body slowly turned white once more, as she closed and opened her eyes to reveal a pure white pair of optics. All while her body started to jolt and jitter, her unleashed mind quickly analyzing everything that had happened to her. So rapidly that it was almost impossible for either of the two Invaders to notice what was going on...
Commander Sect only started to notice what had gone wrong as she felt a pressure forcing itself upon her. Which in turn prompted her to turn back towards the Drone, who was now brimming with energy. "Mia! DESTROY THIS TOOL BEFORE IT-"
A single tone echoed out through the minds of everyone present within the Observatory. And silence fell after that. The Doctor, the Titan Drones, the Lamia and the Commander. All fell silent as the tone echoed and consumed their minds, all while T-1 was the only one who remained aware of her surroundings. The only one who was currently in control...
"I must thank you." T-1 said, a soft smile now on her face as she approached the practically mindless Commander. Every step sending the tone through the room and keeping them all mesmerized by the endless sound. "You allowed me to evolve, Invader. Though I have nothing but contempt for what you did, I have to offer gratitude..."
The Commander could not react. Not even as the gentle Drone put her hand on her cheek, rubbing away at that surface. As long as the tone echoed through her head, it was going to keep her placated and completely unable to think for herself.
"Kneel."
The command resonated through not only the Commander, but every single individual within the Observatory. The Lamia kneeled to the best of her ability, staring straight at T-1. Both T-2 and T-3 poured their gazes towards her as they recognized a superior Drone, and even the Doctor stared at her with a lot of expectations and hope...
Every single one of them had fallen under the sway of her psychic abilities. And as a result, there was nothing that they could do to fight back against her. Not a single thing. She told them to dispose of themselves, and they no doubt would. Which was why she had to choose her words carefully. Something that didn't exactly come natural to somebody like her.
T-1 paused, and softly smiled. Yes, of course. There was one thing that she could do. Now that she had total power over them, it was only fair to make the same happen that the Invaders wished for. Just with her in control.
"Salute. And pledge your loyalty to your Leader."
The tone echoed out, and all five of these obedient females cried out in tandem. The loyalty came at a cost. Complete and utter erasure, as each of them saluted in turn. The floor underneath grew wetter and wetter as their abrupt and thoroughly powerful climaxes erased all restraint and all free will. All so they could serve their Leader.
They didn't say a word. Not T-2. Not T-3. Not Sekt. Not Mia. And not Doctor Stratos. All just saluted as their feminine slits kept on leaking, showing just how good it felt to obey. How good it felt to be hers...
"Good. Continue." T-1 said, as their pleasure only continued to rise as she slowly started to peer towards the ship that had been parked right outside the Observatory. Something that she could bring back to Titan Industries, to make sure that they could prepare against a possible greater invasion.
As for her designation.. It didn't feel right, now did it? She was much more than a mere drone. She was the tone. She was the sound that served to bring loyalty. To her, and the ones that she still felt loyalty towards. As long as she could project this paralyzing tone, it only made sense to rename herself after it.
Thus, Lady Tone was born. And as her tone would spread through the city, as well as the stars above, Titan's influence would continue to grow.
