[Punk TF, Possession, Corruption]

Keeping Bakehara safe was a very difficult task. Between the Witches, the Mages, the Spirits and the Demons, the Link Strikers that were tasked with keeping people safe had their work cut out for them. But not a single one of them was going to actually raise a stink or try to act like they weren't ready for whatever came their way.

They had signed up because they believed that they could help people. And that would always be true. No matter what, they would do everything they could to ensure that people remained safe and secure. As long as they drew breath, and as long as their abilities held up. That was the way forward, the way of the Link Strikers.

One of those very Strikers, Link Love, was currently on patrol. Amato Emiko was her civilian name, and she was always ready for a fight. Thanks to the massive bow that was clinging to her arm, she could channel her power into her hand and fire tiny bolts or stronger shots, all while keeping her defenses up through evasive measures. If you couldn't nail her down, then you couldn't hit her. And she could keep on peppering you with shot after shot until you fell onto your knees. That was the kind of philosophy that Emiko subscribed to.

But she had to admit something. Patrolling the city was... Well, really dull. Whenever there weren't any problems, she just had to keep leaping from building to building. Sure, the act itself wasn't difficult, but that didn't make it any more entertaining. She just hoped that something would crop up sooner rather than later, so she could just get it all over and done with. And hey, maybe if she finished her patrol fast, she'd still have a chance to hang out with Yuriko! Or, well, Serena would be there, and she'd have to apologize for causing her problems earlier in the week. Y-Yeah, she was late with her homework, and Serena tried to help her, and then they both nearly flunked as a result, but she was really sorry about it.

"C'moooooon! WHERE'S THE DAMN LINKS? WHERE'S THE DAMN WITCHES? WHERE ARE THE DEMONS? I HEARD SO MUCH ABOUT ALL OF THEM, AND THEY JUST WON'T SHOW UP? COME ON! I'M RIGHT HERE! RIGHT HERE AND READY TO ROCK!"

Emiko felt the sweat run down the side of her head as her wish was rather rudely and abruptly granted. All in the form of what seemed to be a living guitar, who was currently flying through the air as its strings were being thrashed every time it screamed out loud. It seemed to be a normal Spirit, one that had not yet bonded with a victim. But that didn't make it any less dangerous. If anything, the fact it was screaming in such a loud and obnoxious fashion was just... God, it was hurting her head.

"Hey! You!" Emiko cried out as she readied her bow, grabbing ahold of the 'string' that quickly formed using her power, aiming her hand and the 'arrow' straight at the enemy. "If you don't quiet down and calm down, I'm gonna have to shoot you down and destroy you! You've been warned, so don't try anything!" She shouted, smiling from ear to ear. She was confident that it wouldn't be able to fight back.

The Spirit Guitar turned towards the heroine that tried to call out towards it, before it really started thrashing its strings. "FINALLY! A GODDAMN LINK! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!" The guitar shouted, the power of rock and punk and everything violent echoing out as it started to vibrate and leak as much energy from its body as possible. "LET'S MAKE THE CITY SCREAM, LINK LADY! I WANT IT TO HEAR MY NAME, THE NAME OF ROLLIN' ROCK!"

Emiko wanted to cover up her ears as the intense rock started to roll through her ears. Good grief it was way too loud. She could barely even hear herself think, and it just kept getting louder and louder. "SHUT UP!" She shouted as she fired off her arrow, trying to nail the guitar in one attack...

But she missed. Because of how she had shouted to try and make the guitar quiet down, she ended up missing it. And not just by a little, her shot went far off course, smashing straight through a building. Her bosses would have quite a few harsh words for her by the time she returned, especially if she didn't subdue the spirit at this point...

"YEAAAAH! THAT'S THE KIND OF POWER I'VE BEEN WANTIN'! C'MON, C'MON! RILE UP HARDER AND HARDER, LINK LADY!" Rolling Rock screamed out loud as its strings were being plucked and strummed harder and harder. Even though there was no amplifier connected to make its sound louder, the sheer emotional response from within it was able to make it even louder and even more obnoxious. It was like one big feedback loop, and there seemed to be no way to stop it.

Emiko grit her teeth as she took aim once more, making sure that her arm was pointed directly at the guitar this time. She just had to ignore the sound and fire. Simple enough, right? She just had to fire and then the shots would pluck the strings and render it unable to fire off another note. That's all she had to do.

"JUST BE QUIET, I CAN'T HEAR MYSELF THINK!" Emiko shouted as she let loose a barrage of shots, firing again and again as those many smaller arrows were flying in a storm towards the guitar. These ones wouldn't be able to break a building, but they would definitely be able to pluck a couple of strings and stop this intense pounding inside of her head.

At least, that's what the intent was. But they just harmlessly bounced off the guitar. And the ones that weren't bouncing off were blasted out of the air, courtesy of another wave of sound echoing from the guitar. "YEAAAH! SHOUT MORE, LINK LADY! SHOUT IT ALL OUT AND LET ME IN! LET THE EMOTIONS INSIDE YOU FLARE UP AND KEEP RUNNING WILD! LET THE ROCK ROLL ON OUT!" Rolling Rock was beyond overjoyed at its opponent, especially as its audio waves became more and more visible thanks to the sheer intensity. Every strum causing the ground and the buildings underneath to tear themselves apart more and more..!

Emiko panted and gasped as she had to back away. But now that the music was inside her, she just couldn't get away for long before it would use her heart to reverberate through her. It was taking control of her. Or, at the very least, preventing her from getting away from it. It was frustrating! Way, way too frustrating!

Of course, this was all what the Spirit wanted her to do. It made its intentions very clear in its music. It wanted her to grow frustrated. It wanted her to grow enraged. Because that was the way that it started to synchronize with her. That was the way that it was going to become a Witch. By fusing with an appropriate target, and then taking control..!

And indeed, Emiko was just about ready. She was normally a gentle and kind soul. Maybe a little too excited, but she did what she could to be nice. Against most things that deserved her kindness, anyway. But this thing? This thing had gotten on her nerves so bad she just wanted to see it disappear. She wanted to aim her bow at it and then let loose a flurry of arrows that would make it completely and utterly disappear. She wanted to never see it again. And all that she had to do was just aim her arrow properly one more time. She had to land this one hit.

She didn't even try to gather her focus. She just grabbed ahold of the proverbial string and pulled it back as far as she could, making her shot bigger, bigger, as big as it could possibly be! All so she could aim it straight at the guitar and make it disappear by being swallowed by the sheer immense nature of her ability. She was going to swallow it with her energy and then... Well, if there was any of it left after that, then she had to bring it in for questioning. But she wasn't going to go that far. She was just going to shoot it and be done with it!

"JUST DISAPPEAR ALREADY AND LET ME THINK!" Emiko shouted as the bolt that had formed at her fist grew to twice its size before she let loose the powerful arrow made of her own energy. This time, there was no way that it could dodge, there was no way that it would just harmlessly plink off the surface of the damn thing, and there was no way that she would be left without a victory. She was going to win with this one! She was sure of it!

At least, that's what she thought.

"LET'S ROLL THIS ROCK ALL THROUGH THE CITY, LINK LADY!"

But Rolling Rock thrived on this kind of behavior. It thrived on this kind of emotion. It just let the rough notes shred through the air as it consumed the energy. Not just making it harmlessly plink off its body, but actively swallowing every little bit of it and using it to make its own body grow. Well, not that much, but enough that it seemed like it would be an even greater threat.

Emiko could stare at it and feel... several swirling emotions that were competing for the top spot. Frustration. Awe. Fear. Disappointment. But most importantly... Sheer anger. She had failed again. How the hell had she failed when she was fighting a goddamn guitar!? She was fighting a living object! HOW WAS IT SO HARD TO KILL!?

And it was when that anger grew to its peak that Rolling Rock attacked, flying straight towards Emiko. Not to smash against her, but rather to force itself into her hands. All while it immediately connected to her anger and started to make a feedback loop between the two. A loop that would not easily be broken..!

"GO AWAY!" Emiko shouted as she tried to toss away the guitar. But as soon as it had entered her hands, it was impossible for her to throw it away. Her hands didn't want to obey her. It just got ready to strum it, all while she was forced to look at it and try to shake her arms around to no real avail.

Rolling Rock's voice echoed through her head as it laughed. "NAH, LINK LADY! IT'S TIME TO LINK UP AND BECOME NOTHING BUT ROCK, ROCK AND MOOOOORE ROOOOOCK!" It shouted, as it forced her arms to obey its commands and strum like her life depended on it.

With every strum, another powerful shockwave rushed through her body. Breaking apart her transformation as her dress was being torn to shreds. There was no need for her armor, no need for her bow, and especially no need for any sort of dignity. That much was also clear as all of the pink hues turned a deep shade of black and red, which made her look more like a wicked bitch that was ready to jam the night away and be a punk until the end of time.

That much was especially obvious as a pair of inverted crosses appeared on her cheeks, and as the heart that formerly held the tattered ribbon across her chest shattered and was replaced with two jagged halves of a heart. A heart that was now pure black, which contrasted the crimson in her eyes as she continued strumming away...

Right up until Emiko let out a powerful scream that was fueled by her very soul, an aura of thorns wrapping around her as those very same thorns appeared on her body as tattoos, which were practically always visible thanks to the tattered nature of her brand new outfit...

And once she finally was able to pull her fingers away from the strings, revealing the crimson claw that had been strumming away thanks to how the strings affected her body, she couldn't help but laugh. But this time, it wasn't Emiko that was laughing. It wasn't Rolling Rock either. Both had become one in every sense. Their bodies were now one. Their souls were now one. And their desires were one as well...

The Wicked Witch, Witch Rocker, Had been born. And all it took to make her take form was making Link Love let loose her emotions and get consumed by her own frustrations. Hey, at least she looked great, especially since part of her human self's hairstyle had managed to take shape in the form of a single red strand amongst a sea of black hair, with another shattered heart clipped to the red strand of hair...

"Aaaahhhh... God, it feels good to just let loose. I haven't jammed that hard since the day I was sealed away. Screw those Links, screw those Demons, and screw those Mages especially! I'M FREE! FREEEEEE!" Rocker cried out as she started jamming away at her guitar yet again, excitement growing with every note that rang out...

But not everyone was satisfied with her satisfaction. Especially not the Mages that she was beyond done with, as a dagger went flying right past her. A dagger that seemed to be covered in electricity. She almost recognized that dagger. Mostly because the Link that she had merged with had memories of it...

"Get out of her body." The Mage who had thrown the dagger, Mage Raiju, suddenly appeared right behind Witch Rocker as she held the dagger right up against her throat. She was fast as lightning, and she definitely wasn't about to let a wild spirit claim somebody's life. Even when that life belonged to one of her enemies. "I've got faster reflexes than you. GET OUT OF HER."

But it was that frustration that started to pour out of her that would prove to be her downfall. A single strum was all that Witch Rocker had to do, and then the Mage's heart started to reverberate the same melody through her body. Bringing her to her knees, despite the fact that she should've been able to slash her throat and force the two to split apart.

"HAH! HAHAHA! YOU THINK YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO AVOID MY ROCK, MAGE!? THINK AGAIN! THIS ROCK'S THE ROCK THAT KEEPS GOING UNTIL YOU'RE NOTHING BUT ROCK!" Witch Rocker cried out as she slammed her claw against the guitar, jamming out harder and harder. "TAKE THIS! AND THIS! AND THIIIIIISSSSS!" She kept on shouting as she strummed harder and harder, letting her emotions rock on out as they made the music reverberate harder and harder.

Mage Raiju tried to fight back against the sound inside her heart. But the combination of the Link's own immense well of power combined with the extreme frustration that was pouring forth from the Spirit that had merged with her was too much for somebody like her to handle, causing her own electricity to pour out and start frying her. All while she screamed intensely, too powerless to fight back against her own power being used against her.

Her formal uniform was being torn to shreds until it was just as trashed as Witch Rocker's, with all the whites being turned nice and black while the blues were turned a scarlet crimson, and the length of her outfit dramatically shortened to allow for her legs to be on display as well as her arms, both now decorated with lightning tattoos that were just as red as the rest of her lightning.

Even her hair was ruined in that way, any excess shredded until she had barely one half head's worth of hair left. She was made into an embodiment of pure rock and roll, a punk in every sense of the word. Especially as her uniform was torn to shreds across her heart, revealing a heart tattooed right onto her chest where it was pierced through by one of her other lightning tattoos...

Mage Raiju trembled before letting out a frustrated scream of her own. "C'MOOOOOON ROCKER! LET IT RING OUT!" Her frustration had been turned against her, and now she was little more than one of Rocker's devoted punk fans. "SMASH THIS SOCIETY TO THE GROUND WITH YOUR ROOOOOOCK!" And she couldn't care less about anything else than the emotions pouring out of her. That was the sole thing that mattered to her. The only thing that could possibly matter to her. It was the only thing that was in her mind..!

Witch Rocker did exactly what her groupie wanted her to. She strummed. So hard that a brand new copy of her own guitar formed, one that she tossed to her groupie. "YOU WANT ME TO TEAR IT DOWN, HELP ME OUT! ROCK'S EVEN BETTER WHEN WE ROCK OUT TOGETHER!" She shouted, letting her claws slide along the strings and make the music louder and louder. All while she kept on screaming and letting her soul intertwine with the Spirit inside her...

All it took for Raiju's conversion to be finished was a single strum of that guitar. And then the emotions just flowed on out, making her grow a set of punk horns that were broken near the tip, all while she just kept on strumming and slamming her claw all over the guitar. She was another Witch, another Witch Rocker. And though she was nowhere near as strong as the original, she could strum and jam with the best of them so they could let their music ring out all through Bakehara.

Nobody would be able to silence their music. Everyone would fall to the Rockin' Roll. EVERYONE WOULD BE CONSUMED BY ROCK, AS THEY LET IT ALL RING OUT! YEAAAAAAAAAH!
