"I can't believe you're actually going to go through with it."

"You have a better idea? Please, tell me, I'm all ears."

"I've got a couple. None of them involve going so far that you'd try to go back into the past and possibly ruin things. Then again, should I really complain when it means I won't be taking responsibility?"

"Ha. You'd never take responsibility, even if you ended up turning me into a boy just because it was the best way to deal with her."

A soft bout of laughter echoed in the deep depths of Mimoto, where two good partners were currently busy preparing for a very special plan. A plan that should allow them to change fate and history to favor them. A plan that should give them everything they ever wanted...

Which, in the case of General Spider, was really just getting rid of that damned Jõtaider that had gotten in the way of Lady D'Or's plans. She had humiliated her time and time again, whether by defeating her Jõtaijin or outright derailing her plan. But she wasn't going to just lie down and take it. She was going to turn things around and end up the victor of their little feud. And she'd do anything to achieve that victory.

To say that she went a little overboard was an understatement. Using her connections and the Jõtaijin that hadn't yet been discovered, she managed to acquire a simple looking old watch. One that was supposed to control time and allow her to transfer herself back into the past. With that, she could find that Jõtaider's Mother, and instead of subjugating her like she did in the present, she could seduce her and claim her as a wife. That should throw time off so hard that the Jõtaider wouldn't end up a problem for them any longer, if not potentially adding her as one of Golden Freedom's allies.

"Just remember." King Cobra said, lounging around on the nearby couch. "You know how these things work. If you spend too much time in the past, you'll become part of it. And I wouldn't wanna see the weakest member of our little team go missing when I'm supposed to keep an eye on her." He said, with his voice only containing a bit of the usual teasing tone. Because he really didn't want to see her disappear for longer than necessary.

Spider rolled her eyes as she slowly started spinning the watch around. "Don't start sounding like you care, Cobra. You're not Bat or D'Or. Besides, they'll be pleased to hear that I've solved all our problems!" She grinned as she adjusted her cap ever slightly. "Now, goodbye! I'll be back with proof of my victory!"

The General slammed her hand against the front face of the watch, as she was suddenly swallowed by a rip tearing through time. Leaving little behind except the dust that was kicked up where she stood. All while Cobra stretched a little.

"Yeah, but they're gonna be upset if their sweet little Spider isn't here when they get home..."

---

It didn't take long for Spider to arrive in the past, though she was launched out just as rudely as she was sucked in. Resulting in the militant woman ending up on her ass, barely even aware of where exactly she had ended up. How was she supposed to know? She wasn't trained in temporal awareness!

"Ara? I didn't see you there, sorry!" A sweet voice echoed through her ears, as she looked up and laid her eyes upon a very familiar looking black-haired woman. One with closed eyes and such a tender smile, as well as a... rather tacky looking shirt displaying a pixelated heart.

Spider cleared her throat as she got up. "H-Hmph, you did nothing wrong. I just didn't watch where I was going!" She had to play things off as naturally as possible. There's no way that people could be allowed to find out that she came from the future. If they did, there was a very big chance that things could go horribly wrong within mere moments. And if it did, then she'd have made everything so much worse for her allies...

"Oh, you're one of those types." The black-haired woman chimed, chuckling a little. "Well, why don't we patch things up with a little game? That's how I like to bond with people. We leave behind our frustrations in the arcade, and then enjoy the fresh summer sun." She explained, before pausing. "Oh, right. My name is Kaoru. What's yours?"

...Right, that's why she was familiar. That was the Jõtaider's Mother in her younger years. Though she barely looked different from the present, barring a few curves that hadn't matured quite as much. "I... I'm..." She paused and stuttered a bit. It's not often that she was actually invited to do something fun. Mostly because Cobra and Bat usually just pulled her along for anything that would be considered entertaining. "...Kumo. I'm Kumo."

"Just Kumo?" Kaoru said, giggling. "Well, you've certainly fallen right from the clouds, Kumo. Or maybe you're trying to weave a web around me?" The giggling intensified as she slowly stretched a bit. "But I'll warn you, Kumo. I'm really good at these games, so you better pick one that you're good at. Otherwise I might just sweep you off your feet."

Spider twitched a little. She knew that she couldn't possibly beat her in any of the more demanding games in terms of remembering inputs and how to properly take advantage of weak points and openings in an enemy's defense. And racing games were out too, because she couldn't drive to save a life. Which meant...

"Then our battleground... That'll be our battleground!" Spider cried out, pointing towards one of the rhythm cabinets with a grin on her face. If she couldn't beat her in a fighting game and she couldn't outpace her in a racing game, then she'd show her footwork. One of the few aspects of her physical prowess that she was actually proud of.

There was no way that she was going to lose!

---

"Ara? Kumo? Are you okay?"

Spider had lost. No, she hadn't just lost. She had been completely and utterly dominated. And not just because she had completely fucked up and missed several beats that caused her to lose her chance at victory...

But because she was currently bent over, with Kaoru's arms wrapped around her back as they were locked in a passionate pose. one that put her gentle face ever dangerously close to her own...

What was this feeling inside her? W-Why was she... She...

"You're sweating, Kumo. Would you like something cold to drink?" Kaoru broke the ice as she slowly lifted her partner up onto her feet, helping her stand straight instead of being on the verge of falling over. "I know a good joint close to the arcade, if you'd like a quick bite to eat too."

Spider didn't know how to properly respond beyond just softly nodding, using her hat to hide away her face. Her heart was still racing to the point where it felt like it could pop at any moment. She didn't know how to properly handle it either. She just tried her best to stay quiet and avoid embarrassing herself even further.

Kaoru just giggled as she looked at the taller militant. It was strange to see her suddenly appear, but it was actually adorable to find that this was the kind of girl she was. A girl who looked so tough, yet had such a soft center. Ah, she could remember plenty of girls from her youth that were just like her. Girls that weren't honest with their feelings. Girls that just needed a little push.

So she helped her along. Pushing her in her own way. That little meal will help her loosen up for sure. So would the cold one, that one would probably loosen her up way more. Especially since she was practically melting with how much sweat was pouring down her body and into her uniform...

Though her help only served to make Spider feel all the more embarrassed and insecure and not at all confident in her current state of mind. Why was her heart beating like this? Why was this woman making her feel like this? Why would she start feeling like she was about to burn up inside, just because she lost a game?

The question dwelled on her mind as she practically devoured the meal that had been given to her. All while downing one, two, four, a whole dozen cans of soda. And she showed no sign of stopping as she went overboard, her eyes spinning as she tried her hardest to figure out what was wrong with her.

"You really did need a meal, huh, Kumo?" Kaoru said, resting her elbows on the table as she carefully took a sip from her own soda thanks to the extra long heart-shaped straw. "Maybe you could tell me a bit more about you? You're dressed really weirdly, but you don't feel like you actually belong to some sort of army. Is it all just a costume or something?"

Spider paused her meal as she swallowed everything that was in her mouth, prompting her to blush again as she couldn't really give any proper answer. "I... I just kinda like the look." She muttered, while doing her best to avoid looking straight at Kaoru. She couldn't allow her to indulge for long. She definitely... W... Why did she have to avoid indulging, again..? R-Right, so she could get back to the present without getting stuck there. If she started indulging, she might just lose her chance...

"You mind if I pick something out for you?" Kaoru asked, giggling as her smile widened. "I just wanna see what it'd be like to get you out of that stuffy uniform and into something a little lighter. Something that won't cook you if you were to keep wearing it in this hot weather."

Silence followed. Before a soft "s-sure." made its way from Spider's lips. How could she say no? Not just because she didn't want to seem suspicious, but also because... W-Well it was a request from Kaoru, could she really say no to the woman that had trounced her in a game?

One thing was certain. Once she was done interacting with her, she'd... She'd figure out a way to leave her seed in her. So her daughter wouldn't become a problem.

---

"Oh, wow! I knew it'd fit, but I didn't think it'd fit this well! What do you think, Kumo?"

Spider couldn't really hear what Kaoru was telling her. Her heart was currently slamming so hard against her chest that she was deaf to most things due to the sheer volume of her heart. But even if she couldn't make out what Kaoru had asked, she had to agree. Because as she looked in the mirror...

A cute young lady looked right back at her. She wasn't dressed in her military uniform any longer. She was dressed in a simple blouse that was tied right below her bosom, as well as a playfully short set of shorts and matching leather boots that reached up to her knees. She looked more like a stylish tomboy than any General, much less a villain or anybody that wanted to free the general populace from the tyranny they lived under. Combine that with her hair having been braided into one long ponytail that softly rested against her back, and she looked positively normal.

She couldn't believe she could look like this. She didn't believe she could look so peaceful. It was something that both started to make the tears well up in the corner of her eyes, and made it difficult to move. She didn't know what to make of her current self. She didn't know if it was something she truly wanted to look like... Or if she should keep the look when she made her way back to the present....

"Ara? Kumo? Earth to Kumo?" Kaoru waved her hand in front of her purple-haired friend's face. "You didn't pass out from seeing just how pretty you can be, right?" She asked, all while rocking back and forth a bit. She was giddy, as she truly wanted to hear the girl's thoughts.

Spider blinked a little as she snapped back to attention. "Y-Yes, I'm... I..." She paused and blushed so hard that her entire face turned red. "W-Wait, you think I'm pretty?" She muttered in the most quiet voice that she could possibly muster. She was completely and utterly unused to this kind of treatment. Especially when it didn't come with a bunch of teasing attached.

"Mmhm. You're so pretty that if I were single, I'd gladly take you as my wife." Kaoru said in such a brazen fashion, giggling as that smile on her face grew even bigger. She wasn't kidding, even for a split second.

That sentence was all that Spider needed to hear before the steam quickly started to rise from her head. And by making her dizzy like this by filling her head with all sorts of embarrassed feelings, Kaoru made it impossible for her to hear the sound of the watch reminding her that she should get her ass back to the present...

Kaoru smiled even more as she saw that response. Yeah, this was what she wanted to see. The girl was coming out of her shell more and more. Well, it's not like that was her actual goal when she said those sweet words. She meant it. There was no girl in the whole world that looked as pretty as Kumo did right now. She was so pretty that she could just... Oh, she could just...

Without thinking too much about the consequences, Kaoru wrapped her arms around her brand new friend and squeezed her tight before letting her lips press up against the purple-haired girl's own. Letting them share in a brief yet potent moment of passion, as her heart started beating loud and clear just like Spider's did...

Spider's eyes rolled into the back of her head as she felt a spark of pleasure rush through her. No, it wasn't pleasure. It was pure, unbridled love. There was no way around it, she had completely and utterly fallen in love with her enemy's Mother. It was something that was supposed to be impossible, and yet here she was. Falling in love like a complete and utter dope. What was her excuse?

She just didn't have one. All that she had was Kaoru. A fact that was only emphasized as she couldn't control herself, wrapping her arms around the shorter black-haired girl as she squeezed her nice and tight and gave her all of her love back. It was such a tender hug that was filled with her own spontaneously developed love...

Ah... She could stay here with her for years...

---

"Cobra?"

"Yeeeesssss, Lady D'Or?"

"Would you like to explain what you've done?"

"I mean I only gave her a little trinket that helped her carry out her plans, I didn't actually say she should do it."

"Cobra."

"E... Ehehe... I apologize."

Cobra bowed his head, sufficiently shamed for his part in allowing Spider to recklessly traverse back into the past. Honestly, he should've seen this coming. Helping Spider out and letting her travel back in time? That put her at such risk that either D'Or or Bat would be on his ass immediately. And that's exactly what had happened.

D'Or just shook her head and softly rubbed her cheek. All while quietly closing her phone, turning off the little phone as the call she had with one of her sweet underlings ended. Letting her look straight at her Lover, who was currently busy looking across the street as they were busy enjoying a lovely meal together to celebrate their anniversary. "Honestly, he could've tried to tell her that she should be careful."

"He really should've." Bat nodded, carefully twirling her fork as her eyes remained vigilant on the road outside. As far as she could see, nothing seemed off. The Pawns that she had made were still hidden in plain sight. So the Jõtaider hadn't gotten any more active...

And yet something caught her interest. Two very familiar looking individuals were making their way towards one of the tables, to sit down and have a lovely little dinner just like them. Once she realized who they were, however, she couldn't help but gently tug on her dear Lover's hat, to direct her gaze towards the pair.

"Thanks for taking me out to eat, Mommy Kumo!" One of them was the true identity of the Jõtaider they were being harassed by, Mikai Fushimi. Still ever the cheerful girl, though the identity of her companion, who practically towered over her, was much more intriguing.

"Oh, don't you mention it, my sweet little Mikai." The sweet-sounding woman said, giggling as both Bat and D'Or felt their hearts tremble as they looked upon her. Because there was no way that they couldn't tell that it was their dear Spider. She had the same shade of purple hair, but her choice of dress combined with her extremely matured body that was threatening to slip out of her gentle dress was... Well, it wasn't what they ever could've imagined Spider looking like.

Mikai and 'Mommy Kumo' giggled together, as the two leaned across the table and gave the other a kiss on their respective cheeks. Leading to the two giggling even more, their hearts fluttering. Because while Kumo may not be Mikai's actual Mother, she was definitely close enough to be treated like one. She had been there all along. And though Mikai had neglected her like she had neglected her Mother, she was clearly making up for lost time.

D'Or slowly rested her cheek on her hand, as she watched this altered Spider slowly have fun with one of her biggest enemies. And she couldn't help but smile with a bittersweet beat echoing from her heart. On one hand, she wasn't ready to let go of her dear little Spider…

But she wouldn't dare to ruin this happiness. Not when she saw that sweet smile on her face...
