[Familiar TF, Witch TF]

"So this is Mimoto? Huh, I thought it'd be bigger and badder, what with all the energy I've been detecting from my hut."

A young lil' lady with a big ol' hat that basically towered over her stood upon a hill near the city of Mimoto, gazing curiously towards the rather large city. Even though it was much bigger than its contemporaries, that didn't seem to phase her. Which was ponderous when you considered her size and everything.

"Well, if I'm gonna get a really good familiar and an apprentice, then this would definitely be the place. I need somebody with enough Monster lineage to match my prowess, and then... Well, I dunno what I'll do when I get an apprentice, but my Master always told me that I was supposed to pass on my craft when I was old enough, and I don't wanna wait any longer!"

The lil' lady cried out as she raised her arms into the air. She had traveled all this way for a very express purpose, and she wasn't about to cut herself any slack. She was going to find herself a successor one way or another, and she was going to make sure that they learned everything that there was to know about-

"Eep!"

Right as she was making her big proclamation, she suddenly noticed eight blades coming towards her, each of them trying to either slash or stab at her with such precision that it was hard to make her way out of their path. And yet all it took was a quick snap of her fingers and she disappeared in a puft of smoke, narrowly avoiding her fate of being skewered on such intricate extending blades...

"Who in the world would dare try to hurt a Witch that has done nothing wrong? I'll have you know that I'm a very powerful Witch, and I don't take kindly to people trying to hurt me when I haven't done anything wrong! At least wait until I turn the entire city into frogs on accident, then you can go ahead and try to skewer me six ways from Sunday!" The lil' lady cried out as she puffed out her cheeks, all while trying to lay her eyes on the one that had tried to bully her.

Only to just narrowly roll out of the way of another attack like that, and right into a piece of webbing that had been stuck to the grass underneath her. "What? Webbing? Spider webs? All the way out here? But I thought I had used all of my bug repellant!"

A laugh echoed around her, all while a golden glow started to pulse out and form a spider web in mid air. One that allowed a purple-haired militant to slowly descend from the air using the blades that stuck out from her back. Extendable blades that were more like whips if they were wielded in the traditional sense...

"Well well. Looks like I caught myself a piece of prey. A difficult piece too, you forced me to break out these things." The spider militant said, gently knocking her finger up against the extra sharp blades from her back. "Even that detestable Mimoto didn't force me to break these out. And I tried to use her Mother as a piece of leverage against her. So, let's get some answers. Who are you, little Witch? And why did you decide to try and break in on Golden Freedom's turf?"

The witch blinked a few times as she looked at the militant, turning her head left and right and then spinning a bit around as she tore herself free from the webbing underneath her without much issue. "Hmmm... Not actually that spidery, but those bladed legs are actually really pretty. But do I need somebody like her? Hmmmm..."

Her utter lack of respect caused a vein to pop on the militant's forehead. "What gives you the right to just ignore me?!" She shouted, as each of those eight 'legs' of hers shot out. Four of them swept in from different directions while others skewered straight ahead to try and block her path of escape. There's no way that she was going to accept humiliation from a brat like that!

"Oh, sorry, who were you again?" The witch said as she casually held up both her hands, causing a star-shaped barrier to just casually block the approaching attacks. Now that she was actually focusing on the spider, she wasn't going to let her overpower her. Nah, she wanted to assess if she was worth taking for her own. "I'm Fami, by the way! They call me a couple of names, but I really like the Ordinary Magician and the Familiar Witch!"

The militant could feel the rage bubbling up inside her. Oh, she was not happy with this development. She was beyond displeased. Somebody that called herself 'ORDINARY' had managed to just completely invalidate her assault. Even when she was powered up by a Jõtai and everything! She was going to have to raise a complaint to D'Or later, that way she could get strong enough to wipe the floor with this annoying brat.

"I am General Spider, of Golden Freedom! Now scram, I don't want to see you around here! We don't need Witches or Magicians or anything!" She shouted, all while letting her blades retract into her back and letting a matching set of blades appear in her hands. Two sets of cross-shaped blades that were honestly very impractical to look at, but she probably knew how to use them.

"Ooo, a general! Dunno what kind of army that is, but you're definitely the kind of Familiar I'm looking for if you're that important!" Fami giggled, all while pulling off her hat so she could reach into it and pull out a couple different items. A ball, a pipe, a scanner, a card, all sorts of different trinkets that she just tossed away because they weren't what she wanted. "Come on, where is it..?"

Spider twitched. She was not being taken seriously. "Fine, whatever, if you're not going to listen to me and just disappear, then I'll make you disappear. Lady D'Or won't mind as long as I act according to my own wishes!" She shouted, as she started spinning her cross-shaped blades so quickly that it was like she was trying to blow something away... Or carve something into the tiniest pieces.

At least, that's what she was trying to do. But she didn't anticipate a collar snapping around her neck, courtesy of a quick ring toss by the blonde girl, nor did she anticipate that very same collar sapping her strength and forcing her to let go of her weapons right as a nametag formed. What in the world was going on, how could she just do that?

"That's it, I caught you!" Fami giggled as she plopped her hat back on. "Now to give you a name... Spider's a bit too long, good Familiars only have four letters. How about Kumo?" She chimed, walking closer without a care in the world. Whether for the one she had just caught, or for the chance that she might attack her.

"Kumo's not Ku-" Kumo blinked. And horror dawned on Kumo's face. Oh no. No no no. Kumo didn't want to be part of some silly pet fighting scheme. Kumo was Kumo, proud pet! ...No, Kumo was a... Kumo was... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Kumo fell onto Kumo's legs as Kumo started to sob all while tears ran down Kumo's face. This was the most humiliating fate that could possibly befall Kumo. And it wasn't even due to Mimoto. How could this have happened? Did Kumo piss off some cosmic deity? It wasn't fair, it wasn't fair at all!

Fami giggled as she watched her brand new familiar cry her heart out. Aw, it was adorable. She wasn't adjusting well to the role of being a good pet. But that's fine. "There there, there there!" She chimed, all while petting Kumo on the head and letting her power rush through her. The second step of claiming one's Familiar was always making direct comforting contact, as it would finish their transformation!

Kumo blinked as Kumo looked at Kumo's Mistress. It was getting harder and harder to think straight as that hand rubbed up against Kumo's head. So much so that Kumo's mind started to slowly swirl around and around and around...

As Kumo's mind swirled around and made her dizzier and dizzier, her body slowly shrunk until it was the same size as her Mistress'. All while her skin turned nice and white and she gained lots of pink streaks, while her skin became more and more buglike. She wouldn't just stand up and look human any longer, she would be a true Spider. Kumo, the Spider Familiar, had been born!

Kumo's mind stopped swirling as Kumo's clothes immediately fell down on Kumo, practically burying Kumo under a pile of silly clothes. Kumo immediately threw them off with gusto and a fierce cry, all thanks to the eight extra legs Kumo had on Kumo's back. Useful extra appendages, especially when Kumo needed to be real nice and strong!

"Whoaaaa, so strong! You were definitely the Familiar that I needed, Kumo!" Fami giggled as she gave her sweet little spider lots and lots of love, kissing her on the cheek while ruffling her adorable purplish white hair. She was even cuter now that they were around the same size.

Kumo giggled as Kumo's Mistress was very happy with Kumo. Kumo smiled, and hugged her back and squeezed real nice and tight. "Kumo'll do Kumo's best for Mistress! Just say the word!" Even Kumo's mood had improved. Kumo didn't even remember that Kumo had been a big silly militant. As far as Kumo was concerned, Kumo had always been a good Familiar! That was Kumo's purpose!

"Ehehehehe, what a good Familiar!" Fami giggled more as she gave Kumo a reaaaal tight hug. Before letting her mind wander and slowly figure out what her next plan was. Okay, so she got her Familiar. And a super cute one too. Now she needed to figure out who she could turn into a Successor, and then pass down her teachings from there. "Kumo, do you know anybody that's real cute and strong that might be a good Witch?"

Kumo used Kumo's eight legs to tap Kumo's chin over and over until a person came to mind. Yes, she would definitely be the type to appease Kumo's Mistress! "I know, I know!"

"Mimoto!"

---

Mikai stretched a little as she walked alongside the river that surrounded Mimoto. Why, exactly, was she here? Well, because Hiro had promised her a gift later that day. And that meant that she wasn't allowed to stay in their currently shared home, because otherwise she'd be spoiled on that gift. So it fell to her to just spend some time all by her lonesome. Well, she could've gone to one of her friends, but she didn't want to bother them because she just wanted to wait until Hiro gave her the call she needed.

But at least there were no Jõtaijin around lately. It seemed as if Golden Freedom had calmed down and didn't bother trying to attack the city to try and... Well, do whatever they were trying to do. It meant that she could finally breathe. Sure, there were a lot of other problems that she had to deal with due to being the heroine, Jõtaider Mimoto, but compared to the Jõtaijin that Golden Freedom made, they were a cakewalk. She just had to take care of them later, and then she could probably head to Hiro's place and get her gift.

"Wonder what she's making for me... A cake? A figure? A game?" Mikai muttered as she tapped her chin. Hmmmm. Hmmmmmmmm. What could Hiro cook up? There were a lot of options, and she'd be fine with any of them. Because it was a gift from a friend, and even if the gift itself turned out to be kinda crummy, it was the thought that mattered. But that didn't mean she didn't want to know, she was a curious young girl after all.

"There she is, Mistress! Kumo found her!"

Mikai blinked a couple of times as she heard a familiar yet distinctly younger and brattier sounding voice. Strange, that sounded like Spider. But as far as she knew, Spider wasn't short, young or bratty. She was certainly able to curse up a storm and be a problem with everything she had done to try and get her way, but that didn't exactly mean she was anywhere close to being a brat. So who could sound just like Spider while still being a brat?

She got her answer in the form of a Witch flying right past her, on a broom and everything, before coming to a stop as she made that very same broom disappear into a puff of stars. All while her excited minion quickly ran around her, pointing towards Mikai as if she had just seen one of the rarest and most amazing things in the entire world.

Mikai blinked a couple more times as she tried to understand exactly what she was looking at. She knew what a Witch was, she had been introduced to the concept through one of Tsubasa's stories. But the spider-like... girl... that was running around her... Oh, that was Spider, wasn't it? Huh, she was a lot smaller than usual. Really white and pink too. Kinda cute, if you stopped to think about it.

"Hey there! Who are you two?" But just to be on the safe side, she just had to actually ask. While she was fairly certain that the only possible person that the lil' spider-like girl could be was Spider, she had a tendency to be wrong.

"Kumo's Kumo! And Mistress is Mistress!" Kumo cried out as Kumo came to a screeching halt, pointing all of Kumo's legs towards that girl that Kumo wanted Kumo's Mistress to convert into a Successor.

Fami giggled as she gave Kumo the love that she deserved, petting the white-haired spider on her adorable little head. "My name is Fami. I go by many different titles, but let's just go with Familiar Witch right now, okay?" She chimed, all while stretching a bit. "You were kinda hard to find, you know! Kumo told me all sorts of things about you, but she really couldn't actually tell me where you were! Good thing you just happened to be out and about, otherwise I'da spent the entire day trying to find you!"

Mikai narrowed her eyes the slightest bit. Yeah these two were probably not people she should be trusting. Especially if Kumo was actually Spider. "So what are you going to do now that you've found me? You look like a nice girl, but that Kumo girl's supposed to be one of my enemies. Tall, purple-haired, military outfit. Right?"

"Indeed. That was who Kumo was before. Not that she knows it anymore. She just knows that she's an adorable little Familiar who lives to serve. And trust me, you'll love to have one of your own once I've taught you everything about being a Witch. Tell me, how's the 'Lion Witch' sound to you as a title?" Fami chimed, before quickly conjuring up a series of stars between the palms of her hands. Oh, she was going to make sure that Mikai didn't get the chance to fight back before she taught her everything she needed to know.

Or at least she would've, if not for the fact that Mikai was not stupid enough to just stand there and watch as an attack came in. She was dumb, yes, but she wasn't that dumb.

"Henshin!" Mikai shouted as she suddenly dashed forward and disappeared just as the air around her started chilling, transforming her into her characteristic Frost Wolf state, the fully armored Jõtaider howling while practically invisible to the eye. All while speeding up more and more. There was no way that she was about to let a Witch try and beat her, especially not by making Spider her minion!

Fami blinked as she watched the girl suddenly outspeed her by quite a few measures, causing her to gently bonk Kumo on the head. "I thought you said she was a Lion, Kumo! What kind of Lion turns into a Wolf?"

Kumo whined as Kumo got bopped on the head by Kumo's Mistress. "Kumo forgot! Kumo sorry!" Kumo cried out and whimpered, before Kumo's eyes started to glow. "But Kumo can help, Kumo'll slow her down!" Kumo announced, as all eight of Kumo's extra limbs started to stretch out...

Mimoto kept a close eye on the two as she continued speeding around. It's not like Spider was going to be a threat while she was that small. So if she just went for it and struck properly, then everything would come to an end. And then Spider would owe her, and... Well, she didn't know what she was going to do if Spider actually owed her something, maybe an apology, but that'd come later!

"Alpha Edge!" She shouted as she turned on a dime and dashed straight towards the Familiar Witch, intent on cutting through her and defeating her in one simple slash. Or at least, that was the intent. Right before she realized that she was currently stuck in a piece of web, a few inches from the target. "Eh?"

Upon closer inspection, it wasn't just a piece of web. No, she had slammed straight into a barely visible golden trap, courtesy of Kumo weaving a wonderful little barrier for her Mistress. And as soon as Mimoto slammed straight into it, the webbing collapsed around her, trapping her in a cocoon that made it impossible for her to fight back. All while allowing her to still look at the Witch and interact with her, because Kumo didn't think that far ahead.

"Kumo did it! Kumo beat the girl!" Kumo giggled as she started running around her dear Mistress once more, far too excited to just enjoy victory in the most reasonable manner.

Mimoto blinked a few times as her armor casually broke off, though the webbing was still too tight and as such stopped her from doing much movement. "I can't believe I fell for that." She had to admit. She really didn't expect that kind of tactic. Especially from a smaller Spider.

"It's something you learn to deal with once you become a Witch. And I'm sorry, 'Lion Witch' really wasn't appropriate. So, is there anything else you'd like your epithet to be?" Fami asked as she gently pushed Mikai down, allowing her to lay down and make it easier for the two to look in each other's eyes. After all, Fami was somehow smaller than Mikai. A true feat.

Mikai tilted her head as she looked at the Witch. "What's an epithet? Is that like, what I'm supposed to be called?" She asked, and the Witch nodded. "Well I don't want to be called a Witch, because I'm not one and I don't want to be one!" She cried out,, struggling against the golden webbing that covered her body. Come on, she could break free, these webs weren't that tough!

Fami tapped her cheek ever slightly, humming and hawing as she thought hard to try and figure out a good epithet for her Successor. It's not like she could make her another Familiar Witch, then she was obligated to either step aside and let her powers go or just straight up defeat her and make her another Familiar. So she had to go for something that was more accurate and something that wouldn't cause the two to fight.

...Well, she was a heroine, wasn't she? And it's not like Witches couldn't be heroines. "I got it! Mikai, Heroine Witch!" She giggled, clapping her hands together as she pulled her hat off and started to rummage through it. She needed the next important piece of Witch gear, so she could put the finishing touches on all of this.

Mikai watched as Fami dug around inside of that nice big hat, wondering what she might pull out of it. There sure were a lot of items inside of it. Lots of gizmos that made lots of noises... Hey, did one of them say Rider? Weird, why did-

Right when Mikai was at her most distracted, Fami just outright slammed the hat down on her head, causing her to get slurped up by the hat. Sucked into the enormous space within, all while she carefully plopped the hat down on the ground.

Fami got back, pulling Kumo along with her to make sure that she didn't get caught in the blast radius of the Succession process. Well, she didn't exactly know how it worked, but she knew that after dropping her hat on somebody, it would lead to Succession. And whatever came after that... She only had the accounts of her Master to go off, so...

In her moment of inward retrospection, she neglected to get juuuust far enough away. Causing her and Kumo to get hit by a rather powerful shockwave that burst out from the hat, while knocking that very same hat so far into the air that it seemed like it would be impossible to get back down. Especially once the wind hooked onto it!

At least, that's what would've happened. But a cute young thing suddenly jumped into the air and grabbed it, falling down to the ground as she landed right in front of the Witch that had lost her hat and handing it over while she was still hot from the sudden ascent and descent. All while wearing her own hat, which was decorated with many animals woven into the rim and the upper part of it...

Fami blinked as she took her hat and put it back on. "Mikai, right?" She asked, just to make sure that she was looking at the right girl. She had the feeling she was, but all of those animals looked strange to her. She hadn't seen a bird, and definitely not a bear either. Was there a unicorn and a chimera there as well?

"Not just Mikai, Master!" Mikai cried out as she pulled her hat up ever so slightly, revealing that she was nearly so tiny that she could be swallowed by the hat all over again. "Heroine Witch, Mikai!" She announced her brand new epithet, all while there were stars shining in her eyes. The Succession had taken place, and she now inherited plenty of the powers that had been brimming around inside of the Witch that had transformed her. Not that she knew how to use them exactly, but they were there.

Kumo and Fami both clapped enthusiastically, happy to see a brand new Witch join the ranks. And though they couldn't clap for long before Mikai hugged them and squeezed them both tight, the big smiles on their faces made their happiness very clear.

Mikai giggled as she pulled herself free from the two. "I should go get my own Familiar, shouldn't I? Kumo's really cute, but she's yours, Master!" She was beyond enthusiastic. All while those stars in her eyes grew brighter and brighter. The more enthusiasm in her, the more the Succession would stick. And the more it stuck, the more she'd get enthusiastic and hyped about anything she'd do as a Witch.

"Mmhm. But I know you've got somebody in mind. Kumo said that you had a lot of friends, and any Witch can certainly use a couple of friends as their Familiar." Fami explained, before gently tugging on Kumo's cheeks. "I just happened to turn a big strong one into my sweet little Kumo. So you try and pick a strong one too, I'm sure you won't go wrong!"

Mikai pondered and pondered, and then grinned as she grabbed her hat and yanked it over herself, vanishing on the spot. She had figured out who she wanted as a Familiar! And she wasn't going to even think about slowing down because she wanted her right now!

Her very first proper friend would be an excellent Familiar!

---

Mikai's hat popped right into existence inside a house she hadn't been to very often. A house that should belong to her dear friend, Yumeko. But it was a matter of finding her, and she wasn't sure if she was-

"Mikai? Why are you even smaller than usual?"

Mikai blinked and spun around until she could look right at Yumeko, who was practically towering over her at this point. Well, that made turning her into a Familiar a bit more difficult, but it's not like it was actually going to be hard. She was her best friend after all.

"I'm the Heroine Witch now, Yumeko! And I want you to be my Familiar!" Mikai did not know the idea of being subtle or restrained or anything. But she did understand the idea of not outright just trying to transform somebody as soon as you met them. That much she knew not to do. Not that she actually knew how she should transform her, but she'd transform her somehow!

Yumeko stared down at the extra large-hatted potato that called herself Mikai, before gently pressing her fingers up against her forehead. Oh, this was quite the predicament. She wasn't sure if Hiro was going to pick up her phone, and she really didn't want to disappoint Mikai. "What are you going to do with me once I become your familiar, Mikai?" So she asked her a question that should hopefully stall her and give her some time.

Mikai thought long and hard about this. Right up until her hat started to steam right onto her, prompting her to yelp as the warmth was way too much. "I dunno, I dunno! But you gotta be my Familiar, Yumeko! You just gotta, gotta gotta!" The heat just brought her back on track, even if it left her with a big red face from a mixture of shame and warmth.

Oh dear. Well, when she was being this cute, what other choice did Yumeko have? And besides, all that she truly wanted was to see Mikai smile. So if she became her Familiar, wouldn't she ultimately be rewarded with that exact thing? "Alright. I'll be your Familiar." She said, kneeling down. "So what do you want me to do, Mistress?"

Mikai blushed. Whoa, she was really, really quick to accept that role! Wow, she was definitely going to be a great Familiar! Now, how was she going to... Oh, right, Master had used something in her hat to transform Spider into Kumo, so she just had to try and do the same. If it worked for Master, then it was going to work for her!

Yumeko watched as her 'Mistress' started digging through her hat. Now that the hat that made up half her body size was off her head, Mikai looked even more like a cute little potato. Quite neat, if she had to say so herself. Maybe if she could get to talk seriously with this Mikai for a few minutes, she could convince her to pose for a picture. That'd be quite the lovely thing to keep around.

Finally, Mikai found what she was looking for. She pulled out a collar from her hat, one that didn't have a tag yet, and then she threw it at Yumeko's neck. "Be my Familiar, Yume!" She cried out in a very simple fashion, as her words resonated with the collar and tightened right around her friend's neck once it made contact.

In that instant, a powerful glow poured forth from the collar, as it turned into a star-shaped collar with a tag at the tip of one of the points. All while Yumeko felt a tremble going through her. It was... Oh, this was a brand new sensation...

Instead of shrinking down like Kumo had done, Yumeko felt her body growing. Not very much, but enough to make her look more like a mature beauty rather than a young lady that was on the verge of getting through life. Combine that with her clothes shredding and revealing fur that had grown along her body to make her look sensual and yet ready to strike at anybody that might threaten her Mistress, as well as having some of that fur forming a heart right above the naughty parts, and she looked... Well, like a kitty. A real dreamy kitty.

"Mmmm..." Yume sighed sweetly, stretching as a cat tail poked out from above her butt. A gently swaying cat tail that went along nicely with the ears that had popped out of her head. She was a bit sensual compared to the potato that was her Mistress, but she liked that. It meant that she could dote on her in a much more loving fashion. "Thank you, Mistress. It feels really good to be this big, Nya..." The cat-like Familiar said, all while kneeling down so she could scoop the girl into her arms and squeeze her nice and tight and snuggle with her like any cat would do with their Master.

Mikai giggled and enjoyed all the nice fur rubbing up against her. It wasn't that Yume was covered in it, she was still definitely human. It was just that she was tastefully nude in that sense! And it was really cozy to have her rub up against her like this. "Thank you for being my Familiar, Yume! I'm so happy to have you with me! Master's going to be so proud!"

"But is your Master really satisfied with you just having one Familiar, Mistress?" Yume asked, all while gently kissing Mikai on the cheek. "The Heroine Witch should have lots of Familiars to help her be a heroine, shouldn't she?" She gave an almost poisonous suggestion... All because she wanted to see her Mistress being even happier.

Mikai giggled. That's right, that was a great idea! Yume was so smart, that's why she made her a Familiar. And if she could get lots and lots of other cute and smart familiars like her, then she was definitely going to make more! Ehehehe!

And thus, thanks to a Witch's rather abrupt arrival, Mimoto was thrown into heroic chaos. All at the hands of a giggly Witch that couldn't stop herself from making more helpful Familiars...
