The day was finally here. The day when the new MMO was about to launch. Or rather, today was supposed to be the day. But several delays ended up getting piled on top, resulting in an emergency public test instead, just to ensure that they were able to properly handle all of the players that were going to play their game.

The actual test group wasn't huge. At least for the server that they were going to test. About 12 or so players, with each of them split into groups of four. While the other server was being used for general stress testing, those twelve players were supposed to test out the actual content.

"So what's the game actually supposed to be about?" The leader of the small group of four players, a young man by the name of Oliver, asked. Despite being assigned leader, no thanks to him insisting that he'd be a great leader, he didn't actually know what the game was about.

"Swordsoul Chronicles, an oriental-themed MMORPG featuring state of the art mechanics and extremely realistic VR support." The nerdiest of the bunch, a boy by the name of Manfred, spoke up as you could practically imagine him pushing up his glasses in an overly dramatic fashion. "We are to destroy the Yokai that populate the realm, for the sake of the citizens that have fallen under their sway or remain terrorized."

"Translation, we gotta go beat up some baddies and save the day." One of the girls in the call, Maria, chimed as she tapped away at the keys. "Gotta make sure we look fresh when we do so, can't just go around fighting baddies without the digs lookin' great!"

"I-I think I'll just play somebody normal. If you guys want to dress up, that's fine." The last member of their little group, Connie, was not used to playing games that required a lot of communication like this. She was definitely a bit of an expert at RPGs, but she liked playing solo experiences. It was only because of Oliver's insistent badgering that she had agreed, and even then she wasn't sure. You could just hear it in her voice...

Oliver tapped away at his keyboard, quickly scrolling through his options for creation. He needed somebody that looked good enough to be a party leader, but... Hrm, he didn't really like the options. Nor did he like the ones for the class that was best suited for being a leader, since it would involve a lot of inaction.

"Done. See you guys in game!" Just like that, Maria's voice went dead, the program they used to communicate not working very well with the game. They'd just have to use in-game voice chat to compensate.

"Here as well. May we meet on the other side, my friends!" Manfred cried out as his line went dead as well, though it wasn't hard to hear him try to let out a joyful laugh right before the sound died.

Connie didn't even say anything, the sound of her disconnecting just echoing out as she made her way into the game. Leaving the leader behind in the process...

Oliver trembled a bit as they were so fast. He was supposed to be the leader, and they just went on without him. Damnit, he had told them that he was going to be the leader, and he was damn well going to prove it. Even if he was worried that he wasn't doing a great job.

Upon typing in the last few details, he pressed log in and slowly closed his eyes as the headset slowly started to pull him into the gameworld...

Only for the connection to jitter and jolt as he did so, leaving his body unaware of the mind departing for the digital world...

---

Slowly but surely, a world started to form in front of the boy's very eyes. A world filled with oriental wonder. Sakura petals falling one by one as his body took shape to fit in this world...

Since he had been dissatisfied with all the options at hand, Oliver decided to play as an Onmyoji. A magical-focused DPS class that could use different spells to not only debuff the enemy but also assault them. And if he wanted to, he could enslave the creatures that they fought to act as meatshields while they worked their way towards the end of an area...

Of course he liked the actual aesthetics of his class choice as well. The very thick robes gave him an air of importance. And he could hide snacks in the sleeves too, that was always a bonus. Even if he couldn't exactly eat snacks for real inside the digital world, he just liked to think of it as a bonus.

"There you are! Took you long enough!"

Oliver looked ahead, and very nearly got tackled by the excited Maria, who he narrowly dodged to avoid. Promptly sending the tanned girl straight onto the floorboards underneath him, the sound of her pain echoing out as she slowly got up.

"Please stop emphasizing that I'm late, Maria. I was taking my time trying to pick a class." Oliver glared at the girl that was supposed to be his best friend. She should know better at this point. Always rushing him, always telling him that he had to slow down... She gave such mixed signals, just thinking about it was giving him a headache.

Maria giggled a little as she dusted herself off, completely ignoring the pain. "Yeah, yeah, you're just being slow. Don't worry about it." She chimed, as she stretched and displayed a bit of her muscled body. "Look at this though! I thought it was a great look, but it's even better in game!"

Her class of choice was Monk. A hybrid class that could do a bit of everything, and was actually more meant for solo play. With enough damage to keep up with DPS classes, enough bulk to serve as a Tank, and self-healing whenever they needed to keep their health topped up, they had everything. Of course the other classes had their own tricks to make sure that you couldn't just do a full party of Monks, but she certainly seemed happy with her choice.

It also helped that it looked like a downright attractive warrior. Tanned skin, long white hair, and golden eyes that made her look almost ethereal. It was like she was a Yokai already, though the lack of any proper daemonic traits beyond the hair and the eyes made that claim dubious. If anything, her character just had the blood of one. Which helped her activate the more DPS-oriented skills that she had at her disposal.

"It's... It's certainly something." Oliver muttered as he slowly covered his eyes. He really didn't like looking at her character. Not because she was ugly, far from it, but because she was damn near naked. Just a loincloth and a set of bindings that were supposed to keep her breasts in check. That outfit really left nothing up to the imagination, and if his privates were synched up with his model, he'd probably be tenting his robes at this point.

"Ahem!" The regal and feminine-sounding voice echoed out as another one of his friends approached, this one decidedly more elegant as she was dressed in a combination of flowing robes and layered armor, all while she kept her hand wrapped around the sheath of a katana. "My allies, my compatriots! Are you ready to begin our adventure through this world? Are you ready to show the world what we have in our hands?"

It wasn't hard to guess that the woman who acted like a dramatic nerd was Manfred. And just like he always did, he had chosen a female character. He insisted that it was because he always wanted to act out a more capable female character, but Oliver knew better. He probably just wanted to examine his own feminized body in the mirror whenever he got the chance. And considering the VR capabilities, that was already something that he could do very well...

Still, he had picked a rather impressive class. Samurai. While the offensive output was lowered to bursts, the amount of aggro that they were able to put out and the attacks they were able to dodge through due to several types of concentration effects that essentially allowed them to teleport around on the field of battle... It was beyond all comprehension. Of course, it also meant that you needed to keep on top of all the cooldowns that you had at your disposal for optimum play, and they weren't just the kind you could macro your way through.

To compliment this, Manfred had decided to really dress like he fit the role. Not just by playing a female character, but dressing in a conservative yet sensual manner. The robes that clad her body were just long enough to impede her movement, and the armor that covered the more vulnerable areas seemed thick enough to wear her down. Combine that with long hair that covered up one of her eyes, and she looked utterly unfit for combat. And yet the skills that Samurai had at their disposal meant that none of these seeming handicaps would come into play. She would be able to outmaneuver anybody, and narrowly dodge through the attacks that would actually try to reach for her.

"Well, look who's trying to be all sorts of fancy." Maria said as she skipped over to the Samurai, grinning as she lightly slapped the butt through the robe. "Better be careful, you gotta defend against this kind of attack!"

The Samurai laughed, only for Maria to let out a yelp in return. Without seemingly moving a muscle, she had managed to deliver a swift and devastating blow to her friend's rear. A blow that caused the Monk to blush as she glared towards her sword-wielding friend.

Oliver just sighed and pinched the bridge between his nose. This was part of why he didn't play with his friends often. Even now when he was trying to be a leader, the guys just started to goof off and it would be impossible to get them focused on the task at hand. "Seriously, we're not here to mess around." The Onmyoji muttered, quietly reaching into his sleeve. If he had to use his seals to try and get them to focus, then he wouldn't hesitate.

"Sorry." Another voice echoed out, not belonging to either of the girls. It was a lower tone, but it was definitely recognizable as Connie's voice. And while the two idiots were currently busy trying to get the best of one another, the Onmyoji turned around to try and see what kind of character she had picked.

Like the Samurai, Connie preferred to play a different kind of character. Mousey, never really standing out. In this case, it meant that she picked a male Miko, with a bob cut that truly made him look like he wasn't supposed to be picked out from a crowd. But at the same time, his class choice meant that he was supposed to stick close to the people that couldn't possibly blend in.

The Miko class was oriented around keeping the party protected through healing and status buffs. A lot of Yokai used attacks that were meant to inflict status ailments, and the buffs would turn those into greater buffs. Granted, it relied on fighting the right type of Yokai, but the prayers that were able to heal their allies was still worth it. So while it would take certain situations for Miko to be as effective as they could be, they were still the premier type of healer...

"I'm not mad at you." The Onmyoji said, trembling a bit as he started talking. It was like a headache was spreading through his body. "Just... Just trying to get everyone back on task. That's all." He muttered, all while pressing his hand against his forehead.

The Miko's eyes lit up slightly. "Do... Do you have those same headaches..?" He asked, and the leader of the party nodded. "I started getting them as well, and... I-I think there might be something wrong with the game. Maybe we shouldn't be playing..."

"Ah, it's probably nothing!" The Monk cried out as she skipped on over, having caught the rear of their little conversation. "You're probably just not used to the kind of feedback you get from VR. Really, I've played tons of games like these, you get a bit sick and then it's over! Let's just get started and you'll worry about it less!" She chimed, giggling as she ruffled both of her friends' hair. Which just made them both softly and silently glare at her.

The Samurai cleared her throat as she started to walk away from her group. "If I recall the terms of our little testing agreement, we should receive help from a guide very soon. A little creature that can guide us in the correct direction. And from there, we can begin the testing procedures." She explained, before drawing her blade from its sheath with a delightfully devilish smile on her face. "And then those enemies, those yokai, can taste the wrath from within my blade... Oh yes, it hungers..."

"Please. Stop." The Onmyoji muttered as he slowly walked past her, with the Monk and the Miko both following behind him. That being said, he really did hope that they received some form of guidance soon. The faster the better. He couldn't keep these guys on the right track for long without additional help...

And as he hoped, something did appear. "Nin nin, kon!" A cheery yet sultry voice echoed out as a ball of smoke suddenly exploded in front of the party, with a white-haired and green-clad ninja slowly forming from within the smoke. "The exterminators have arrived! Excellent, and not a moment too late either!"

The ninja was not just any ninja, a fact that quickly made the Samurai reach for her blade before the Miko had to try and calm her down. No, the Ninja was very obviously a Kitsune. A single-tail Kitsune, sure, but a Kitsune nonetheless. A Yokai was to be their ally? Not to mention the fact that her outfit was very loose around the rear, making it very difficult for her to keep her pants hoisted up aside from pulling them up ever slightly with her tail.

"You're the one supposed to guide us?" The Onmyoji asked, narrowing his eyes a little as he drew a seal from his sleeve. "If you attempt to betray us to your masters, if you attempt to make us food for the Yokai, then I will not hesitate to make you one of our minions."

"Alright, tone down the hard stuff a bit." The Monk said, gently flicking her 'leader' across the side of the head. All while walking over with a smile on her face. "You just show us the way, fox girl. We'll keep up. And don't worry, you won't get harmed or anything. We'll make sure you stay safe if you make sure we stay safe. Got it?"

The foxy ninja nodded rapidly. "Then let us proceed to our destination, kon!" The cheery bottom-heavy ninja chimed as another bit of smoke started to burst out, this time turning her into a pocket-sized cutie that quickly started to dart down the road ahead. "Follow me, kon!"

The party looked to one another. they really didn't have any better ways to progress besides following the fox. And who could know if they were actually going to end up in a bad situation. Maybe it was intended to be an ambush of sorts. Either way...

The Onmyoji took the lead, as he said that he would, as he led them along the path that the foxy ninja paved for them...

---

By the time that they arrived at their destination, most of them were not exactly ecstatic. Not because of the travel time, it had been a rather brisk little trip. No, the thing that disappointed them was the lack of enemies. Even as they entered the castle that was supposed to house the bad guy that they were meant to defeat.

"You're meaning to tell me that we were invited into a test that has absolutely no enemies? For shame, my blade hungers!" The Samurai cried out as she repeatedly slammed her sword in and out of the sheath. She was suffering from fight withdrawal. In a game where she hadn't even really used her blade yet...

The Monk was in a similar mood, trembling and grunting as she tried to punch the air. "Come on, isn't there anything we can break? Anything we can smash? It's been like..." She paused, before trying to check her UI. "...Hm, how long's it been..?" She muttered to herself before just shaking her head.

Although she decided that this wasn't something to get worked up about or something to concern herself with, the Onmyoji thought differently. Even if he didn't raise his voice because he wasn't still sure if he should. The fact that they had all had that kind of headache, the fact that they couldn't check their UI or anything... It was like they had been sucked into the game with no real way out of it...

The Miko stuck close to his leader, squeezing his hand tightly. He didn't like this. He really didn't like this. And the way that he couldn't stop himself from breathing was one way for him to show this. He just couldn't stop getting close to hyperventilating. What would happen if they couldn't get home..?

The Onmyoji softly patted the Miko on the head, right as they started to enter the final floor. "Kitsune! You best not be leading us into a trap, since none of your allies seem to be present! If they're about to spring out at us, I demand that you get back here and prepare us for the fight!"

"Oh, oh no. This is no trap." The Kitsune ninja chimed as she suddenly sprinted right back to the group, all as they started to look towards a set of ornate armor sitting in the middle of the single room they just entered. "This is your destiny, Masters. This is what you were meant for."

None of them liked what that meant, especially as the armor started to shake. A trail of smoke started to rise from it, giving form to a rather elegant yet strong looking draconic woman. A woman that looked like she had seen quite a lot through those weary eyes of hers, and yet she couldn't help but laugh as soon as she laid her eyes upon the party.

"So these are the ones meant to facilitate my resurrection. You've done well, Momo." The draconic spirit said, all while licking her lips. "Bring them to me. Allow me to bind them to my service..."

The Onmyoji cursed his luck as he started to draw his seals. Or at least, that's what he wanted to do. But there seemed to be no seals inside his robes. Despite the fact he had been playing with a couple on the way there.

"What's the meaning of this!?" The Samurai cried out as her blade had vanished from her grip. "I was just playing with my blade, and now you take it away?!" She shouted, clenching her fists. She didn't like to have her escapist fantasy broken like this. She'd swing her fists around if she could, but those were nowhere near as effective as the blade. Especially since most of her skills couldn't be used with them.

The Miko yelped as even his seals had been taken away. All except for one. He quietly pulled his robe up to reveal his nethers, showing that one had been planted on his crotch. And he then quickly dropped the robes very quickly to try and hide his shame. His healing ability had been disabled, and now his shame was rising through the roof.

"What, you just took away our weapons? Then how're you going to handle this?" The Monk grinned as she cracked her knuckles, running straight towards the cheeky fox that had tried to keep them down. There was no way that she was going to lose to some stupid ninja, especially after she had broken her promise.

The Ninja smiled as she suddenly disappeared right as the Monk was about to launch her attack, only to appear behind her and squeeze her fingers into those voluptuous breasts that were trapped within the bindings. "Never underestimate a Ninja, kon." Her voice was a lot more sensual than before. Less like she was intentionally trying to downplay her strength, and more like she had just caught her prey.

The Onmyoji wanted to try and call out towards his friend. But... He couldn't remember her name. All that he could remember was her Identity. As far as his mind was aware, she was just... The Monk. And that was the moment that he started to realize that it wasn't just the fact that they couldn't log out that was the problem... It was that they were becoming part of the game itself.

"Let go of mhheeeeee-" The Monk tried to cry out and sound like she was resisting all of this. But once that moan left her lips, her fate was sealed. Especially as the Ninja's tail started to turn into smoke, the same sort of smoke that the draconic woman was made from.

The smoke quickly started to sink into the Monk's form as her skin turned as pale as the fox's, all of her muscles slowly smoothing out as a new tight bodysuit formed on top of her. A bodysuit that clung so tightly to her that it was impossible to imagine that it would be able to contain her form for any amount of time. And indeed, once it reached all the way up to her breasts, the fabric tore to let those melons bounce out completely unrestrained.

The final touches were put onto the Monk as she let out a much more intense and delighted moan, her brand new foxy features growing as her hair turned the exact same shade as her foxy sister's. The only difference between the two, as far as anybody could tell, was the emphasized assets. Otherwise, they looked completely identical...

"Ah, Fufu..." The Ninja giggled as she squeezed her hands into her new sister's breasts. "We'll make the Empress all sorts of happy, won't we?"

'Fufu', the former Monk, just giggled in turn. "Just you wait until I can get my hands on that fat ass of yours, I'll make her happy when I start ravaging it!" She had forgotten all about her friends, falling into complete horny pleasure...

The Samurai grit her teeth a bit. This was... Damnit, if she wasn't currently peeved at losing her blade, she would've probably enjoyed this display. "What do you seek to gain from turning us like this!? You will not succeed, mark my words!" She cried out, all while letting her energies focus into the palms of her hands. Even if she wasn't a spellcaster like the Miko or the Onmyoji, she still knew how to refine her Chakra into something stronger.

"What do I gain?" The smoky draconic 'Empress' replied, before softly chuckling. "I gain nothing from reclaiming the ones that were supposed to serve me from the very beginning. Just like you were meant to, my karakuri puppet." She explained, all while putting a finger up to her lips and blowing an extended rope of her own smoke right towards the Samurai.

The Samurai knew not to toy with the power within the smoke. But unfortunately, it broke her concentration just enough that the smoke was allowed to meld with her own power. Which in turn, caused her to cry out in pain and fall onto her knees.

The Onmyoji and the Miko both wanted to help her. But they could do nothing. Their options were limited, both in terms of the game mechanics and the actual options they had on hand. They were both just forced to watch...

Little by little, as the smoke melded together with the Samurai's power, her body started to grind. As if it was made from something mechanical. With her body gradually turning more and more rigid, she lost a lot of that grace that her class was known for. What did she get in return?

A thick suit of wooden armor that was making it even more cumbersome to move. All while the finer definition of her form faded away. There would be nothing left behind of the Samurai. All that remained was a wooden and mechanical doll. Ready to serve her Empress. Ready to carry out her commands. All while looking like nothing more than a common soldier, with no standout traits...

"N-No. T-This isn't... T-This is all wrong..!" The Miko cried out, his body trembling more and more. Not only had his friends been forcibly turned into minions, but it really did feel like his body was as male as it could be. But that wasn't right. She was a girl in reality. It wasn't right that she was like this. It wasn't right that she was going to be converted into a minion. No, she just wanted to play a game with her friends, and this was what happened..?!

"Stop this! Now! We were supposed to playtest this game, not become a part of it!" The Onmyoji cried out as he stomped towards the draconic spirit, rolling up his sleeves. Even if he couldn't truly fight her, he was going to try. He was their leader after all. He couldn't just abandon them..!

The draconic Empress chuckled as she slowly started to seep around the Onmyoji. "Game, you say? Then why have they been transformed?" She said, all while gently letting her hand caress his chin and his cheek. "This is no game, boy. This is my world. And you've become a part of it."

The Onmyoji's eyes widened. He suspected as much already, but... Hearing it from her lips was too much. He knew he had to do something, but what-

"A-Ah! S-Stop!"

He turned around to face the Miko, who was now being assaulted by the smoke that made up the Empress' body. The smoke that was seeping into his form, slowly but surely turning him just as pale as chalk. All while he couldn't do a thing to stop it...

The Onmyoji wanted to try and help. But he couldn't. The Empress' main body was keeping him held back, all while he watched the gentle robes that covered the Miko to shrink as his form grew nice and sensual...

One of the Miko's wishes was granted, allowing her to return to a feminine form. But it came at the cost of being unable to fight back against the smoke that was sinking into her. Not that she'd want to fight back, as her form suddenly grew nice and limp while her robes loosened up...

Her form was now completely white, and as the smallest and slightest bit of color was added to her face to make it seem like she wasn't lifeless, that loose set of robes slid up ever slightly as they became a low-hanging kimono. Showing off her assets, all while she pursed her lips in such a sensual manner...

"Come..." She muttered, as she beckoned the Onmyoji to come closer. All while spreading her legs, like the Geisha that she was. "Let us partake in passion, my Master..." She said, her body growing warmer with every passing moment. All so she could heat the air around her and lure him in.

The Onmyoji panted and gasped as he looked at her. But the Empress that held him was more happy to pull him towards her armor, all while carefully caressing the side of his head. "S-Stop... I... I..!"

"I won't stop." The Empress preempted him, all while sinking into her armor. "And neither will you. Put me on, and allow me to become part of this world once more!" She shouted, her powerful voice echoing out as her armor started to glow.

The Onmyoji wanted to avoid obeying her. But he couldn't. Not while he had already sucked in part of her essence. So he did as she asked. Lowering each part of her armor onto himself, all while it started to change him.

His body, formerly meager and weak, grew strong and muscled as scales started to stretch across it. All while it grew nice and sensual as well. The Empress was not just a strong leader, but a sensual one as well. Which would no doubt explain why the armor only covered as much as it needed to, leaving most of her muscled and curvaceously scaled body on display.

As his hair lengthened and his curves grew, the mind of the Onmyoji slowly faded into the back, utterly smothered by the smoke inside of her. Allowing the Empress to laugh and cross her arms with glee, squeezing her hands tightly as she once again enjoyed the sensation of a living body. It had been so long since she had been standing on her own two feet...

"My dearest concubines, stand before me!" The Draconic Empress commanded, her voice beaming with confidence and with power. Completely unlike the Onmyoji that had served as the base of her body.

The two Kitsune, the Karakuri Soldier, and the Geisha, all stood side by side. All of them saluting for their Empress. "Yes, my Empress." They said in unison, each of them showing her exactly the kind of respect that she deserved...

The Draconic Empress laughed. Her Empire could start anew. All from the comfort of this Draconic Corridor, leading all the way to the heavens that she needed to conquer once again.

As long as those other two Empresses didn't start their own campaign all over again...
