[Corruption, Haughtification, Brainwashing]
"You're garbage."
Those two words were more damaging than anything. Especially to a young girl who had her hopes up and always tried to aim for the chance to be a star. A girl who wanted little more than to shine on stage and let everyone listen to her passionate song. Hearing those two words made her heart crack.
"I-Isn't that a little harsh?" The girl asked, squirming a little as she adjusted her glasses. "I-I mean, my family always said I sounded so beautiful..." She could feel the weight of everything bearing down on her. She really didn't want this to be the end.
Unfortunately, the man that sat behind that desk, who had seen every single thing she had done, shook his head in denial. "Beauty is not what an idol needs. An idol needs to be controllable and marketable. Your kind, the country girl who has been striving for the chance to be a star, doesn't rake in the revenue any longer. Not after Hoshi-chan stepped down. She was the only one who could pull that off. And you? You're nowhere near as beautiful as she was. Whether in terms of your sound or in terms of your looks."
"B-But-" The girl tried to protest, only to grow silent before he even interjected. She understood. She understood it way too well.
The Manager narrowed his eyes. "You don't even have the backbone to put up a fight. If you had that at least, you might've had a chance to become an underdog. We could've marketed you as somebody that would be fighting against our orders and singing despite it all. Even if you were still actually following every order." He scoffed, turning his chair around. "Get out of my sight. Never come back here. And make sure that nobody sees you. I don't want our brand to come close to being associated with you."
Anybody would start crying after hearing that. But she didn't. No, she kept it all bottled up, and respectfully bowed before the man that had given her the chance to sing in the first place. She didn't even run out, she just walked calmly out of his office and slowly through the hall, her hopes utterly and completely crushed...
Nobody batted an eye. Not a single one of the workers in this agency bothered to try and help her. They had seen it all happen so many times before that they didn't even try. Because why would they, when that iron-hearted boss of theirs was focused on nothing but profits?
All that the girl could do was slink into the elevator that would take her to the ground floor. And then softly collapse against the wall, a few tears finally managing to work their way out. It'd take a while for her to truly let go of all this sadness. It'd take a while before she'd be able to heal. If she'd even be able to do so in the first place...
And she didn't even get far, as the elevator stopped on the next floor. "Excuse me." A soft voice said, not really paying attention to the crying girl as she stepped inside and chuckled a little, noticing that her floor had already been pressed.
The only sound inside the elevator, even as it descended further and further, was the sound of the crying girl. She didn't want this. She didn't want to lose sight of her dream. Even if her hopes had been shattered...
Only as the elevator suddenly stopped, seemingly in between floors, did she try to look ahead... And instead of seeing the elevator, all she could see was the woman that had stepped inside before. The woman that now practically hovered over her with a soft and almost supportive smile on her face. It certainly didn't help that she was dressed in a black suit with her long white ponytail wrapping around her waist as if it took the form of a prehensile tail or something...
"W-Who... Who are you? W-What's happening..?" The girl muttered, sniffling as she slowly rubbed away at her eyes with her sleeves. She didn't understand. At least not completely. But she could vaguely tell that something was wrong. She could feel it inside her shattered heart...
The black-suited woman chuckled a little as she backed away and dusted off her suit a little. "I go by many names, dear, but you may call me Agent. And if I'm not mistaken, you must be Priscilia. A girl from the middle of nowhere, who just wanted everyone to smile when you sing for them." She said, gently bushing a hand through the bangs of her hair. "Am I wrong?"
Priscilia shook her head, slowly but surely stepping forward herself as she noticed the lack of a reflection in the elevator mirrors. Hers was there, depicting the cute brown-haired girl in her traditional dress that she had actually sown herself with a little help from her parents, but Agent's wasn't. "You're not wrong... B-But you're..."
"Perceptive!" Agent giggled, clapping her white-gloved hands together before reaching forward and cupping the girl's chin ever slightly. "But do not worry. I don't intend to take anything from you. In fact, I've come here to give you the chance you've been clamoring for. The chance to sing on stage and make everyone hear your feelings..."
Those words were like sweet poison to girls like Priscilia. So much so that she could feel her shattered heart slowly put itself back together. But she was a sweet girl. She knew that something like that was dangerous. "W-What's the catch? Y-You're a... Y-You wouldn't..."
"There's no catch, Priscilia." Agent said, before conjuring up a contract made out of black parchment with royal yellow and definitely flaming lettering, all while she continued to smile so softly. "Because while I'd love for you to sign this contract, letting you be one of my idols... There's just something I'd like to tell you before I offer you a pen. Something that I'm sure you need to hear."
Agent took a step forward, as that hand that had been resting on Priscilia's chin started to move onto her cheek, letting their lips get ever closer. "Don't you get tired of being so nice to those that don't deserve it, Priscilia..?"
"W-What do you mean..?" The young girl asked, her heart trembling. All while it felt like something was worming its way in between the shattered pieces. She didn't understand. Well, no, she did. She just didn't want to admit that she did.
Agent let go of that cheek, and snapped her fingers while still keeping a hand on the contract. One by one, images of everyone that had ever wronged Priscilia flooded through her mind. Whether it was her family, her friends, her teachers, her fellow students, strangers, normal people, all ending on that boss that had called her garbage. Sure, she knew that these were just isolated incidents... But as they kept on flashing through her mind, more and more just piled on. Revealing the sheer depth of the disrespect that people had for her.
"Because of how kind you've been to everyone in your life, they don't feel bad about trampling on you. Because they know you'll bounce back. They know that your gentle nature will cause them to feel no remorse. Because you'll forgive them. Time and time again. No matter how many good deeds they may do after the fact, they'll never truly repent." The white-haired woman said, before adjusting her tie a little as she chuckled. "Then again, who am I to talk about repentance? I am but a Demon, after all. Something that you noticed the moment we laid our eyes upon one another."
Agent... Agent had been the only one to be completely and utterly truthful to her from the start. She had shown her every single misdeed that had happened to her. Every single lie that poured through her daily life. Every single little thing that added up to her current miserable state. It was like a veil was being lifted from her eyes, as Priscilia's irises slowly turned that same shade of regal purple as the words on that parchment...
"Give me a pen, Agent." Her voice no longer contained an inch of kindness. Not even an inch of respect for the woman that had bothered to give her this enlightening experience. No, it contained confidence beyond compare. Nobody would be as confident as her. And nobody would stop her from having her take what she wanted.
Agent trembled a little as she heard that voice before snapping her fingers again, causing a regal purple pen to appear in her latest idol's hands. And without much fanfare, Priscilia signed her name on the dotted line. "Welcome to the Seven Devils, Pride. And welcome to your new life."
Priscilia... No, Pride smiled a little herself as the elevator doors finally opened, letting a devilish glow slip its way into the elevator. A glow that she walked towards without a moment's hesitation.
It was time to take control of her life. And to do that, she needed a makeover...
---
The idol agency that Priscilia wanted to be signed with weren't supposed to receive any more applicants. Not today, not tomorrow, and not for a long time. And yet the sound of the elevator designated for applicants and idols rang out through the office, causing every single worker to turn their heads towards it.
The doors opened, and the sound of heels clacking against the floor started to flood throughout. The sound of a girl who knew what she wanted started to flow through the building. The sound of confidence on legs. Every single step caused the ones watching her to tremble and gasp, driven deep into ecstasy just from seeing her...
Pride didn't say a thing. Why would she give them a single moment of her time? She didn't need to pay attention to such trash. No, she knew what she wanted to do. That was why she took such a long time to walk over to the door leading to the Manager's office. She wanted every single worker to be looking at her, even if she wasn't about to look at them even once...
She brushed her hand through her hair before knocking on the door to the boss' office. Then she knocked again. And one more time, not even showing patience towards the man that had rejected her.
"We're closed, god damnit-" The boss threw open the door, only for the words to fail him as he looked upon the new form of the girl that he had just rejected prior. A girl that now looked like a star that was too overwhelming for somebody as scummy as him.
Pride, who was currently grinning at the man before she kicked him onto the floor with her pointy heel, was dressed in a long regal purple cocktail dress which had gold lines sown into it and fur trimmings added to make her stand out even more. Combine that with a coat of fur hanging from her shoulders that made her look even softer than her sensual outfit, and the regal purple heels that were this precariously close to causing a fatal injury to the man that had rejected her, and she was utterly mesmerizing. Especially when one looked up at her hair and saw the gold layered on top of the inner purples, allowing a sense of contrast that went along well with her single gold eye and her single purple eye, as well as one of her lips being colored purple while the other matched the rest of the gold.
"I'll be taking over from now on." Was all that she needed to say, especially as the front of her heel pressed up against the man on the floor's crotch. Pressing down on it in a dominant fashion, letting her brand new confidence travel through her and into him. "You understand what this means, don't you, Manager-chan?"
The boss didn't know what to say. In fact, he couldn't say a thing. All that came out of his mouth was the sound of pure pleasure as his body rapidly shrunk and his eyes turned into hearts, until there was nothing left on the floor but an adorable girl whose eyes and identity was hidden behind her own hair. Because Pride's simps didn't need to make themselves known. They just needed to simp.
"O-Of course, Pride-sama!" The former manager cried out as she squirmed and trembled while her beloved Pride-sama was hovering over her. "W-We'll make sure to prepare for your debut live as quickly as possible! Y-You just prepare yourself, I'm sure everyone'll love you! A-Ah, please tell me I'm doing a good job too!"
Pride just glared down at the identityless simp that seemed to think she was a manager, which caused her to tremble and pass out as she felt an overwhelming sense of delight from being completely disregarded. And just one look outside at the other fans that had gathered, waiting at the door leading to the office... Every single one of them had been transformed just like the manager had, turning into identityless simps that couldn't possibly endure the feeling of being ignored by their beloved Pride-sama!
"Too easy. And yet..." Pride licked her lips as she trembled a little herself. It felt good to stand on top of everyone like this. It felt so good. Nobody was going to get in her way ever again. She would stand on stage and claim everyone's hearts with her song. Because that's what it meant to be the best. That's what it meant to be Pride. Nobody would be able to look away from her, and she wouldn't give herself to anybody, not now, not ever!
As the newly corrupted Seven Devils Idol trembled more and more, climbing along the ladder of arousal, she heard the soft sound of someone clearing their throat, and a simple head turn caused her to spot Agent sitting on one of the couches inside the office, gently smiling towards her newest idol. Except she had somebody sitting besides her. Somebody that felt familiar to Pride, yet at the same time completely foreign. Then again, of course a girl who looked like somebody had just tossed black and red paint onto a pale canvas would be foreign to somebody like her.
"Splendid performance, Pride. You've not even sung a little, and yet you've already amassed quite the following." Agent chimed, while unabashedly bleeding from her nose. Just the sight of Pride was sending way too many delightful signals to her brain. "But we still have to prepare for your debut. I hope you're ready."
"Of course I am, Agent." Pride said, hands on her hips as she walked over to the couch while glaring at the much smaller black-and-red haired pale-skinned punk that sat by her agent's side. "But why did you drag the trash in with you? I don't want to look at it."
"I AIN'T TRASH, YOU POMPOUS PRUDE!" The pale-skinned punk cried out, wrath pouring from her lips. "I'M WRATH, I'M ONE OF YOUR DAMN RIVALS! AND YOU BETTER RESPECT THAT BEFORE I SHOVE YOUR PRETTY LITTLE HEAD RIGHT IN BETWEEN THOSE FAT CHEEKS!"
Pride twitched in response to the uncouth and thoroughly rude words that slipped out of the pale girl's mouth. "...You didn't tell me that I was working with somebody so crass, Agent. Nothing in the contract even stated that I would be competing for the limelight."
Agent could feel the anger pouring onto her, causing her to dismissively wave her hand. "Of course it wasn't in the contract. I want you all to be able to stand on your own. And if that requires that you fight for the limelight, letting your sins conquer the floor, then that's how it'll be. In fact, that's why I've gone ahead and booked you both for the same night. A Duet Live, to see if you'll mesh together or duel on stage. I'm sure the fans'll love it, even if they'll end up breaking each other by the end of the night."
Both of the Idols looked towards Agent with their respective sins running wild, but Wrath was the first to make a move as she grabbed the black-suited Demon by the collar and shook her rather violently. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN I'M SHARING A STAGE WITH THAT GIRL!? SHE'S TOO PRETTY FOR MY SCHTICK, YOU KNOW THIS, AGENT!"
"I don't want to hear trash like you calling me pretty!" Pride shouted as well, quickly stepping over and yanking Agent out of Wrath's grip, her hand tightening as it wrapped around her throat. "Cancel the Live, Agent! I don't want to share a stage with her if she's going to keep letting the contents of her heart pour out so wildly!"
"OI, I'M THE ONE TELLING HER TO CANCEL THAT SHIT, DON'T STEAL MY THUNDER!" The punk-themed idol shouted as she tried to grab Agent again, only for her much shorter height to result in Pride pushing her back with the palm of her well-manicured hand. "STOOOOOP! YOUR HAND'S TOO SOFT, LET ME GRAB HER ALREADY!"
"Not if you don't behave. Not that I expect somebody as rough and as unrestrained and naturally beautiful to be able to understand the meaning of behaving and restraining yourself to look even more beautiful under the spotlight!" Pride shouted back, all while her cheeks flushed bright red. Why did yelling at this proverbial midget make her heart pound..?
Wrath was in the same situation, her heart smashing against her chest as her cheeks flushed bright red. Why'd she have to share the stage with such a pretty girl!? Why couldn't Agent just trust her to do it all on her own!? Now she was going to think about what would happen on stage if her emotions boiled over and she pinned her to the floor!
Agent just softly chuckled as she watched the feelings slowly take form between the two, all while her body went up in smoke before either of them had the chance to do anything awful to her. She had to prepare for their Duet Live, after all...
Ah, she couldn't wait to see them feud and make love on stage, like the true sinners they had become.
