[Tokusatsu Themed, Fluff]

Today was supposed to be a normal day in Mimoto. It was supposed to be completely and utterly ordinary. Nothing that would go wrong. But unfortunately for those that had plans, especially the young Mikai who wanted to go hang out in the city with her friends, fate itself would throw an obstacle in her path.

Just as she was about to leave her home, right before she could really make the trek into the main city, a hole opened in the sky. And a black-armored and white-haired girl with a rather familiar looking sword popped out, panting and gasping as she fell to the ground.

"No... No way am I fighting that Monster...!" The girl, who had previously invaded this world to try and conquer it for the sake of the Darkness, blinked as she looked straight ahead at the blonde girl that stared straight at her. "...Oh, damnit! Not you too!"

"Hey Grimmy!" Mikai chimed, slamming her fist against the palm of her hand. "You're not gonna cause any trouble, right? I don't wanna start fightin' ya if I can get around it!" She said, not even seeing the girl as a threat. She had fought her at least once before, she could beat her up with her eyes closed!

"Stop calling me that, it's Grim! Not Grimmy!" Grim shouted, only for her pale face to freeze as she felt a presence. "Can't I catch a break?!" She shouted, sinking into a hole made of pure Darkness to try and escape...

Right as a silver halberd came crashing down through the other hole, just narrowly missing the enemy from the Darkness. The wielder of the halberd let out a mildly frustrated cry as she drew her weapon from the ground, looking around frantically as she tried to assess where exactly she was.

"That girl is going to pay once I get ahold of her! She can't just convert the MTR, they're my prey!" The halberd-wielding woman shouted, all while spreading a rather proud pair of silver wings. Which only served to emphasize how little her actual body was armored. While her legs and arms were certainly armored, she didn't even bother wearing any proper armor on her torso, leaving a bikini to do most of the job of keeping her modest. Which she really wasn't.

Mikai blinked a couple of times as she looked at the woman. She was... a dragon, of sorts? Huh. Well, she wasn't quite like Tessie, but she was still fighting against the Darkness, so... Probably a good person? Probably? "Chimera, what do you think?"

Darkness wrapped around her world for a moment, as the ancient predator walked towards the outline of the silver-armored woman. "...I don't like her." She muttered, keeping her wings tucked close. "I don't like her smell. And I don't like Dragons in the first place. Even back when I was on top, I never bothered trying to fight Dragons. They were way too cumbersome. I only fought them if I needed to. Watch out, Mikai."

With that advice from her inner helper, the darkness faded away and Mikai was left staring at the silver-clad woman once more. Well, better go with the obvious. "Hi! I'm Mikai! Who're you, and what kind of world are you from?" Might as well get off on the right foot instead of ignoring the obvious.

The blonde woman with the silver armor and draconic features looked at the girl, before she realized what had happened. Ah. She had traveled to another world after chasing down that worm. "I am Silver Knight. And this world... is..." She paused, as she cleared her throat after getting a good feel for her surroundings. Even if the scenery was more like Japan, the same kind of feel from her world was definitely present. "Similar to my own. Tell me, Mikai, have you heard of Fae? In any way, shape or form?"

"Nope. Are they bad?" Mikai gave an instant response, punching her palm a bit as flames started to cover her arms. "Because if they're bad, and if they're gonna do bad things to my friends, then I'm ready to give 'em what for!" She shouted, not even bothering to hide her identity in front of somebody that no doubt had seen her fair share of weird things in her own world.

That behavior earned her a halberd close to her cheek, courtesy of Silver Knight with a rather wicked looking grin on her face. "Oh, they're bad. But only because humans like you keep on causing trouble! So I'll do my Kin in this world a favor and wipe you out before you end up being trouble, Hero!"

Right. Even Villains didn't want the Darkness around. She should've thought about that before she ended up getting too chummy. Whoops. "Sorry, but I'm not backing down just because you're trying to skewer me! HENSHIN!" She shouted, as the flames of her inner will erupted across her body and let her transform, turning her from Mikai to Mimoto!

Silver Knight laughed a bit as she jumped away, using her wings to keep some distance. "Another armored heroine! Good, I'm right at home then! Tell me your name, and then we shall fight!" She said, spinning her halberd before slamming the butt of it back into the ground.

"Mimoto! Jõtaider Mimoto!" Mimoto shouted as she let her flames keep pulsing across her form. "I'll give you all that I've got, Silver Knight! It's the least I can do!" She said as she rushed forward. She actually respected the blonde dragon, despite the fact that she had tried to nearly slam her head off her shoulders in no time flat. Mostly because she actually bothered to be fair about it!

Silver Knight grinned, and right before the girl tried to hit her, she took to the skies. Taking advantage of the lag after one of the girl's attacks, she went for a swooping attack, jamming that halberd down towards her armor and following up with a slam from her tail before she could recover from the first attack!

Mimoto let out a groan as parts of her armor shattered off already. Alright, she was fighting against somebody a few weight classes above her normal enemies. Comparable to Spider, maybe? She wasn't sure, but she definitely needed to adapt and figure out a way to ground her.

"Chou Henshin!" She shouted, as the winds of her heart tore her armor apart and replaced it with the Blast Eagle armor instead. With these wings, she took to the skies to pursue the Silver Knight on her own turf!

"Transforming in the middle of combat! I like it!" Silver Knight shouted as she took a deep breath, before letting loose a powerful roar that seemed to cut the clouds as it reverberated through the city. Slicing anything that heard it!

Mimoto trembled as her wings were sufficiently shredded by the sheer intensity of that roar, but she wasn't going to go down just because she got a bit hurt. No, she'd use these features being shredded to her advantage. "APEX METEOR!" She shouted, as a wind erupted from behind her, sending all of those feathers flying straight towards Silver Knight, cutting through the after effects of that sonic roar!

Silver Knight flew out of the way of the barrage, only for the wind to follow her as she tried to dodge. Which then prompted her to return the favor by taking another deep breath and sending a freezing wave through the sky, freezing every feather that tried to reach her. "You're persistent, Mimoto! I like that! I like that a lot!" She laughed. To think the first enemy she faced in another world would be this fun to fight!

"Thanks! You're not bad yourself!" Mimoto shouted back. Despite the fact that they were definitely big enemies, they didn't really hold anything against each other. Which was why she grinned before shouting again. "Chou Henshin!" And her armor shattered, revealing the Frost Wolf armor instead. Only for her to disappear as the air around her grew dangerously cold...

Silver Knight steeled herself. Literally, she used a bit of her magic to up the toughness of her body. Just in time too, because Mimoto made herself visible once more as she managed to ascend the feathers frozen in the air, only to deliver a swift slash with her claws that managed to deliver a hefty blow to those draconic wings. If they weren't toughened up, there was no way that they'd avoid getting shredded.

"CHOU HENSHIN!"

But Mimoto wasn't done, and Silver Knight's eyes widened as she transformed once more. This time into a much bulkier and bear-like form that immediately used the momentum she had used to get all the way up towards the winged menace to grab onto her wings and start getting pulled down by gravity.

"TRIANGLE RAVE!" Mimoto shouted, having flawlessly executed a triple switch and captured her enemy in the process. Even if that meant that she was currently heading right towards the ground at speeds she would never reach even as Frost Wolf. Still, she should be able to endure. She had been able to do so many times befo-

*CRASH*

The road received a rather nice crater as soon as Silver Knight and Mimoto made impact, courtesy of the extra toughness that was added to Silver Knight's frame. Which happened to translate into weight, which resulted in Mikai getting knocked out of her transformation since she wasn't prepared for that much blowback, the poor girl trembling a bit from all the pain pouring through her.

Silver Knight wasn't in much better shape. Not because she couldn't take a fall, no, but the added damage from the other attacks wasn't doing her any justice. Especially not when she wasn't really able to move during the fall. "Gotta admit, you're a lot better than I originally thought, kid." She said, coughing a bit as she approached the girl that was currently trying to pull herself out of the pavement ever so slightly. "I'm a little glad that worm took my prey. Because it meant that I got to meet somebody as entertaining to fight as you."

"H-Heh... Glad to hear it. You're not going to transform me or anything, right?" Mikai asked, only to let out a few idle pained noises because being buried in concrete wasn't exactly a fun time. Even as she was pulling herself out. "I mean, that's what Golden Freedom does, and I don't think it'd be that fun to be a Pawn."

"You won't be a Pawn, Mikai. But rest assured, you'll be mine." Silver Knight said, spreading her wings wide as a sigil formed in front of her face. "By my power, the power of a Dragon, you will be min-"

Only for it to fizzle out. Causing Silver Knight to blink a few times as she tried to manifest it again and again. Only for it to fizzle again and again, as if it had met its match. As if Mikai somehow had greater authority...

That very same greater authority made itself apparent as Mikai's eyes very briefly glowed gold, and a deeper voice echoed out through her lips. "Sorry, you're not claiming my Mikai. Find another host if you need one." Only for those very same eyes to disappear and for Mikai to pout a little. "Chimera, you didn't need to reveal yourself..."

Silver Knight blinked a few times before laughing and stretching a bit. "Very well! Very well. Then I suppose I've not truly won yet, if I cannot claim you as my own!" She declared, laughing from the depths of her heart. Even if that girl had somebody inside her that blocked her authority, it only made her want her as her own more. And if she couldn't claim her the old fashioned way, then she would try another method. "Since I've bested you in combat, you get to choose the next battleground, Mikai!"

Mikai pulled herself out of the concrete, before blinking a few times. Well if she couldn't beat her in a fight, then... "...Do you play video games, Silver Knight?" She asked innocuously, not really expecting anything.

"Do I ever!" Silver Knight laughed, as she suddenly picked Mikai up and slung her under her arm. "Then it's settled! We shall fight in the world of games! And you will fall once again, and be mine!" Now she was just having fun. Probably because she had worked up a sweat when she fought against Mikai, and she was looking to unwind through another fight even if it wasn't really a fight.

Mikai laughed a little as she was rather forcibly carried inside her own house, hoping that the skills she learned from fighting against her mom in all sorts of fighting games would help her win against Silver Knight.

And if not... Oh well.

---

A good five hours passed since that first encounter. That was how long the two had spent gaming. Or rather, two of those hours had been a mixture of their personal fight, and then the games that followed. The three after that featured Mikai's mom joining in and thoroughly cleaning both their clocks in all sorts of classic games, dominating them even when it became two on one.

Which led to the unlikely duo sitting on the same couch, each enjoying a little bit of homemade ice cream as the setting sun slowly poured in through the window. Mikai's mom had left already, since she had a couple of errands to run, so they were all alone.

"So you fight people like me in your world, SK?" Mikai asked, idly licking her vanilla ice cream as she kicked her legs back and forth on the couch. "Don't you feel bad for fighting people that just want the world to be a good place?"

"If you think that's the only reason why people fight, Mikai, then you're still wet behind the ears." SK replied as she wrapped her lips around one of the many balls of ice cream that were neatly stacked on top of one another, swallowing it whole with ease. "Besides, it's not like I fight just to transform people. I fight for the Fae's cause."

Mikai nodded, looking up at the ceiling. All while eating yet another ball of vanilla ice cream. "I just fight for my friends. And the city, really. I don't like seeing people get hurt. I don't like seeing people in danger. I just do what I can, and reach out if I can. That's all it can take to help somebody. And if it's not enough, then that's all I can do." She said, stretching a little. "I dunno if that really makes us enemies, but you were really fun to fight, SK. Whether all the way up there, or when we played games!"

"You were fun to fight as well, Mikai. Though I would have to say that we need to make sure your Mom doesn't join in next time." The blonde dragon said, popping another pair of balls into her mouth and swallowing with ease. "She's a demon when she's got that controller in her hand. I've played a lot of games, but she takes the cake."

"Ahaha... Yeah, she's real tough! But that's just one reason why I love my Mom!" Mikai giggled as the conversation steered towards her family. "She's always been there for me. Even when I've been really empty and didn't really think anything about her. She was there for me. And, well, Dad's not really here, but he's kept us afloat with all the work he's doing. So I really hope I can pay them both back somehow."

"I'm sure that by being who you are, you've paid them back tenfold, Mikai." SK said with a confident edge to her words, downing the rest of the ice cream. "Whether you loved them or your friends, the fact you are who you are should make them more than proud." She said, idly using her tail to scratch herself. Though something that Mikai said did give her pause, she decided not to worry about it too much. "Anyway, it's not like I can get home all on my own. You have a spare bed?"

"Nope." Mikai said with a soft smile. "But my bed's big enough, and it's not like Mom's going to complain if we're in the same bed. Is that alright?" She asked, not at all thinking about how strange it would be to offer a complete stranger something as intimate as sleeping in the same bed.

SK blinked a bit, before chuckling and snapping her fingers. Her revealing outfit suddenly changed into a dragon-themed onesie, perfect for cozy sleepovers. Not only that, but Mikai was dressed in a matching lion-themed one. "Alright, but only because you're offering." She said, stretching a bit as the exhaustion of a lot of fun games and a good fight finally took its toll on her body.

Mikai nodded, yawning a bit herself after finishing her ice cream... Only to jitter as she felt a soft pain ring out through her head. "Ow. ow ow. Brain freeze..." She muttered. Even the extra comfy nature of her onesie didn't really help.

What did help was SK doing her a solid by lifting her up and carrying her instead of having her worry about walking while her brain was having a freezing problem. Following the girl's directions as she carried her all the way to her bedroom and joined her in bed, the two cuddling together as they climbed under the covers.

Mikai smiled as she looked at her... enemy-friend? friendnemy? She didn't really know what the term was, but she knew she had enjoyed her fight against SK. And so without worrying, she wrapped her arms around her and fell asleep, softly snoring like a good girl.

SK had seen a lot of things. A girl that claimed to have been empty just a little while ago giving her a difficult fight like this? Not something she had been through often. But the fact it resulted in a blossoming friendship... Even if she had to eventually take advantage of it, it was nice to enjoy the sweeter parts of it for the time being. She'd have to find a way home eventually, but that wasn't a priority right now either.

The draconic guest gave her host a kiss on the cheek, before she snuggled close and fell asleep as well...
