[Minionization, Latex]

Being a Villain in Trinity City wasn't exactly easy. Especially if you were a low tier one. If you didn't find a way to blend in and avoid causing too much trouble before you had the chance to spring your plan, there was a good chance of you just getting tossed in the slammer. And from there, well, it was impossible for you to strike out on your own. You were going to be forcibly recruited and turned into yet another part of a greater whole. Whether that greater whole was somebody more suspicious like Titan Industries, or one of the bigger villain organizations that were still looking to arm themselves.

Bookkeeper, a simple villainess who just wanted to carefully monitor her books and acquire a couple more through illegitimate means, was one of the types of Villains that were in danger should she try and bring the spotlight on her. But she actually needed extra hands, and she couldn't just go around and corrupt people into helping her. That wouldn't give her results. What she needed was something simpler. Something so simple that the Heroes wouldn't dare look towards her, and other Villains also wouldn't try and strongarm their way into her territory.

Which was why she had come up with such a simple plan that there was no way that anybody could mess it up. Not herself. Not the Heroes. Not the Villains. Not even the civilians would be able to blame her for what she decided to do. There was absolutely no way that it would fail. She had run the numbers, and the statistical chance of it failing was quite literally in the negatives. It was foolproof...

And it was unfathomably boring, which was why her face was currently laying down on a plain table, all while the crowds of students passed her by. She really should've thought about this plan a little longer. Why would somebody ever be as dumb as to approach a Villain like her, especially on campus? She had been in college before, she knew how busy people got. How had she ever thought something like this would work?!

Well, she wasn't exactly the smartest. Despite the fact that she had buried herself in her books to the point of outright becoming one, a lot of that knowledge wasn't flowing through her brain. Sure, she had access to it and she could easily pull herself apart if she wanted to find a specific page that she had read, but did that make her able to tell that this was a good plan from the start? Of course not, it basically just told her the general gist of what she wanted. She was a bookkeeper, not a fortune teller or anything like that!

"You can't be serious. Aren't you a Villain? The hell have you set up a stand for?!"

Bookkeeper blinked a bit as she slowly raised her head to look at the person that was now standing right in front of her desk. It was a rough looking girl with half of her hair having been shaved, while the other was black with red highlights and brushed to one side. She was some sort of punk, and the spiky choice in attire and general iconography only served to emphasize that aesthetic. Great. She totally needed somebody to ridicule her right now.

"Ahem. You can at least use my name." Bookkeeper said as she brought her hand to the sign attached to the desk she had set up. 'Bookkeepers Bookmarks, join today and let go of the life you might be disappointed in.' Was what it said, with a cutesy little doodle of the green-haired living book at the very end winking towards anybody that bothered reading it. "It's written right there. And in case you weren't aware, this kind of recruiting is not only totally within the confines of the law, but it's also encouraged. The Villain economy thrives on minions, and I need some. Why not offer the youths of today, just like you, the chance to find a better life living under the command of somebody that might know better than you? After all, it's not like you're learning anything from going to this institution. Otherwise you wouldn't have approached this stand."

The punk girl standing in front of her stand just twitched a bit as she gave her spiel. "You flunked out of college because you couldn't handle it, didn't you?" Just like that, she shot a bullet straight through the Villain. With a few words, she had discredited her utterly and completely.

"N-No, I flunked out because I didn't care for what they were teaching!" Bookkeeper cried out, which only served to riddle her cause with even more bullets. "B-Besides, you didn't say anything against what I said! You stopped here because you wanted to try and toss your life away because you were dissatisfied with it! Isn't that right?!"

"Doesn't mean you're not pathetic." The punk muttered, with Bookkeeper vibrating and huffing in the background as she grew more red in the head. "But yeah. I don't like this life. I'm rebelling anyway, so..." She paused, before taking another look at Bookkeeper and slowly walking around the stand...

"W-What?" Bookkeeper muttered, not used to this kind of attention. What was she trying to get out of examining her like this? If anything, it was just making her more nervous. Surely she'd get something out of asking her instead of just looking at her like this. "I-If you'd like to know your benefits for being a minion, I can tell you-"

A sharp cry of surprise left her lips as the punk suddenly stuffed her hand right into her body, pulling out several colorful pages with a grin on her face. "Oh yeah. I've been looking for these. You got more of them?" The punk asked, shuffling the pages into one neat pile before grinning a bit. The pages were easily identifiable as some sort of hard to collect comic. An early run that shilled an old Anti-Villainess before she ended up going a bit beyond what was considered humane...

Bookkeeper blinked a few times as she looked at the punk. "Uh, I do. If you become one of my Bookmarks, I'll let you have as many as you'd like. As long as you put them all back when you're done. Whether into me or into my library." She explained in a very factual way, before blinking a few more times as everything started to sink in. "Wait, you don't want to hear about benefits or anything? You just want this comic?"

"You kidding? This comic is worth its weight in gold! It tells a gripping tale, and the events that followed the comic where the Anti-Villain ended up falling to her vices and ended up causing trouble around the city... It's so good!" The punk cried out as her eyes practically started to sparkle. She was more satisfied than she could possibly admit. "Now come on. Turn me into one of those Bookmarks of yours. Then I'll stop pointing out how sad you look for going through this much trouble to get minions.

Bookkeeper was naturally a bit worried about the way that her first minion hardly showed proper loyalty and more just... wanted to indulge in her vices. Then again, it was what she seemed to enjoy. So who was she to deny that vice? Besides, she liked reading, and if there was one thing that she appreciated, it was a studious eye that loved to indulge in the reading material that could make them smarter. Maybe she could convince her to read some more non-fiction based material. That would make her a lot more... Well, approachable?

"Hold still." Bookkeeper said as her eyes started to flash, causing half of her body to suddenly rush off her and collect itself inside a construct of a book, which was gradually lowering as it filled up with more and more of her pages. "J-Just give me a moment, it's the first time I'm trying this." She muttered, as the process of filling up the book took a lot longer than she would like to admit...

The punk rolled her eyes and just stretched a bit while she waited. Honestly, the Villain was turning out cuter and cuter by the moment. Had she seen her before..? Oh, actually, now that she thought about it, there had been this nerd at the back of the class who always ended up falling behind during the lectures. Was she... Well, the shades of hair matched, so-

Before she managed to put all those thoughts together, she was forced to let out a yelp as the book fueled by part of Bookkeeper's body slammed shut around her. Trapping her between the pages and making it increasingly hard to breathe. It was like she was being flattened and squeezed out at the same time, her body lengthening bit by bit with every moment that passed...

It was so dark. And yet she could see... No, she could feel the words around her. The pages around her were all about fashion... Not exactly what she'd love to read about, but hey, it's not like she had the chance to be picky. She was stuck in between the pages of her mistress, after all.

...Mistress? Did she really think of Mistress as her Mistress? Well, it seemed like she did. And it wasn't like it sounded too wrong. While she hadn't exactly earned that loyalty, she had just proven herself to be a lot stronger than what she initially seemed to be. So being part of her knowledge, and being a Bookmark for her to keep track of that same knowledge... Maybe it wasn't so bad.

As the punk quietly started to accept that role, the words and pages around her started to meld into her. Wrapping around her and becoming part of her. All sorts of words molding into one long chain of pure black as it pinned those very same pages to her, all of it combining until the book started to let go of her, to reveal her to the Villain that had set all of this into motion...

Bookkeeper was more than a bit exhausted after pulling off that stunt, especially since she had been cut down to the size of a shortstack by letting all of those pages flow out of her body. But now that she had the chance to breathe in and let it all settle for a moment, she took the moment to look at her Bookmark...

Right as her page cheeks flushed bright red. Oh dear. Was this what she wanted out of a minion? She knew that she wanted proverbial bookmarks that could be used to archive her knowledge. She just didn't expect it to be so literal, nor did she expect it to be so outright erotic. How much porn had she cons... Bad question, moving on.

The Bookmark that had once been a punk didn't seem to have any outstanding features. It was completely covered in a latex-like material, but if you were to touch it... It seemed more like it was some sort of blackened parchment. Combine that with a simple bit of string sticking out of the top of her head, and the fact that she seemed more than pleased to just stand there and not do much else... And she very much did seem to be made for sticking into some sort of oversized book. Or be kept inside the Bookkeeper herself.

"R-Right. Uh, still alive in there? Nod twice if you are." Bookkeeper asked, and the Bookmark nodded. Bringing a sigh of relief to the Bookkeeper's lips in the process. Okay, good, she hadn't managed to kill her or anything. She just had to make sure. This was the very first time that she tried something like this. If she had messed up somehow, then all of this would've been for naught, because then she would attract Heroic attention and then everything would come crashing down. "Right, good, just, stand over here and look pretty. I'll get you more of those comics when we get home."

The Bookmark did as she was asked. If she could show her smile from underneath that helmet of latex, she probably would. For now, she was content to just do as she was told. Not just because she had the chance to read her favorite comic later on, but because her Mistress found a use for her. Any Bookmark would be happy to be used.

Bookkeeper slowly stretched as the rest of her body reformed, letting her sit back at normal size after a few moments. Right, she had gotten her very first Minion. And while it hadn't exactly been a flattering experience, it had certainly been an experience alright. Now she just needed...

She blinked for a moment as she stuffed her hand into herself and pulled out a list, as well as a set of glasses just to make sure she was reading her own writing right. She had terrible handwriting, so it was a necessity. "I need... Wait, did I write that right? There's no way I'd need that many. right..?"

Nope. Her glasses and her list sank back into her as she felt the mild despair running through her as she realized she still had a good dozen's worth of dozens left to grab. Which basically meant that she needed to pluck a dozen students from every group to make her quota. She had only gotten one so far. How was she going to get all of them in time? How was she going to avoid bringing attention to herself? There was no way that she'd be able to handle that many students all on her own. Much less attract them all at the same time.

It would take a miracle. Or better than that, it would take some sort of generational fatigue for her to get that many minions. The chances of that were astronomically low. She'd know, she had calculated the chances before she left her library.

"Hey, what's this stand for?"

Which was why she was surprised when another student approached the stand. One that couldn't be more different from the punk from before. This girl actually wore her uniform and had her brown hair in a neat bun, while also wearing a set of glasses that helped her read anything she had trouble with. Combine that with a set of gloves to make sure she didn't harm the materials she was made to handle. She was... Well, she actually reminded Bookkeeper a bit of herself.

"Read the sign." Bookkeeper said reflectively, before shaking around and clearing her throat. "Well, there's a bit more to it than that. I'm in the middle of recruiting minions to help me keep a handle on the various tasks that I need to do to maintain my lair and library. I offer you and other girls like you on this campus the chance-"

"Sounds fun."

Bookkeeper blinked as she heard that. What..? Did she just hook in yet another person, before she even finished giving her spiel? Okay, something was definitely going wrong. She thought she was the only one that had grown dissatisfied with the way the world worked. Had she abandoned all of that without finding...

"I... Are you sure about that? I just told you, you're being recruited as a minion. You're going to end up losing a lot of yourself in the process. There's still a lot of things I need to iron out about the process, and I genuinely can't guarantee that you'll be able to return to normal. Are you absolutely sure that you want to go through with this?" Bookkeeper explained as much as she could, a bit of sweat running down her knowledge-filled body. There was something about turning a girl, that was a lot like her before she became a Villain, into a minion that was making her heart fill with dread.

The bespectacled girl just nodded and smiled. "It'd be great experience for the future. Besides, I've already tapped out of my studies. There's only so much that I can keep up with, and I'm not sure I'll be able to pass with a good enough grade. I need to reach my dream somehow, and some work experience as a minion might do me good." She explained, carefully brushing her hair behind her ear. "How does the process take place? How quick will it be? Is it possible that I might be able to catch this game in the evening?"

Bookkeeper was being overloaded by the amount of information she was being forced to process. So much so that she ended up just being pulled apart by the various parts of her knowledge, the pages flowing out of her and collecting into the enormous book. On one hand, she didn't wnat to convert somebody like this, because she was so familiar to her. So much like her. On the other, the girl was so eager that she'd feel bad if she didn't help convert her. It was like a moral dilemma that she didn't have a good answer for, and a dilemma that her body was more than happy to answer.

*SLAM*

The large book composing all of her knowledge slammed shut on the girl that had been so kind as to ask questions about the mechanics of her transformation and if she would have more free will. And she didn't seem to struggle within. If anything, Bookkeeper swore she could hear a couple of moans from within. It was like... It was like she wanted this so deep down that she would've probably looked for another Villain if she hadn't been the one to convert her. If that was the case, then...

It didn't take long before the book opened, and another identical Bookmark was released from within. Another latex girl who had been stretched to match her fellow Bookmark, allowing them to be indistingushable from one another. It wasn't the best design, but it didn't matter what the Bookmark represented. Just that they were able to stuff themselves into her knowledge and mark out important spots...

Bookkeeper took a deep breath as she slowly let all of that sink in. Okay. She had turned two girls into her minions. One was dissatisfied with the world, just like she had been. The other was just... Interested in a comic. The sheer disparity between those two desires had hit her like a proverbial train. To say that she was left in shock after all of that would be an understatement. How was somebody like her supposed to deal with that?

At least she knew that they were alright. She hadn't killed them, they were still okay under all that latex. So as long as she could just somehow get ahold of all those minions she needed, then...Well, she'd be fine, wouldn't she? Even if she didn't feel like it was alright? Maybe she needed to have a talk with the people that actually headed this institution, see if she couldn't argue against them and give her minions some better conditions.

Right now, she just slowly sat at her desk, and watched more and more people slowly pass by her stand. It was still very early in the morning. Surely she wouldn't be able to get all of those minions before the end of the day. She had done her calculations. Even with these new variables and knowing that people were genuinely dissatisfied with the world, surely they wouldn't jump at the chance to just mindlessly serve. They'd have their heads screwed on the right way, and they wouldn't cause trouble without her prompting them to.

Yeah. All of that was definitely true. It had to be. There was just no way...

---

"Oh, sweet! You're looking for minions? What're they like? Are they cute?"

"C-Cute? W-Well, I don't think they're that cute, but you could look at those two, and then-"

"Omigoshhhh! They're super duper cute! Lemme be one too, I'll be the bestest minion!"

"W-Wait, i-it's dangerous-"

"Lemmeeee!"

---

"Minions, you say? What does that involve?"

"Well, sticking around me and making sure I don't forget things. I'm... I don't exactly have the best memory, and-"

"Is that all? That sounds like a much more enjoyable experience than keeping at this boring routine day in and day out. On top of that, I get to serve such a lovely young lady as yourself."

"W-What's with the fancy speech, a-and w-when did I look like a lovely young lady!?"

"Hahaha! Do not fret, I will serve you well, Mistress!"

---

"Sheesh, you need minions? Can't you just buy those from the store?"

"No way, girl, they go for like three dollars a pop. It's like she's poor or something!"

"Awwww! Well if that's your problem, girl, you should've just said so! We'll be your minions for a bit, that sounds totes fun!"

"Uhm. Y-You realize that it's not a part time endeavor, yeah? Y-you understand that you'll end up like these guys, right?"

"Mmmhm, that latex's really striking. I like it a lot!"

"Yeah, girl, relaaaax. We like how they look, and we like you. Just let us be minions for a bit, alright?"

"We'll be reaaaal good. And hey, we can teach you a thing or two too. You ever wonder what it's like being trapped between the softest girls in the whole city..?"

"I-I don't even want to know!"

---

"What kind of work comes with being a minion? Hard work? Work that lets me pursue my goals of getting stronger?"

"If you're trying to get stronger, why are you at college..?"

"I wanted to fight knowledge. Turns out its really weak. You seem like you're made of more knowledge, why don't you let me have a go at it?"

"I... I don't even know what you're trying to say anymore, but if you'll be a Bookmark, then I don't really have any problems. Just, uh, don't break anything while you're in my library..?"

"Sweet! I can't wait to give that knowledge what for!"

---

Bookkeeper collapsed against the desk as her entire body was steaming. This college... This world in its entirety... It had confused her beyond anything else she had experienced thus far. Why were there so many weirdos!? Why did they all want to eagerly become her minions!? She almost had every single Bookmark she needed, and evening hadn't even rolled around!

She had barely even done anything! She hadn't even gotten the chance to rattle off the benefits of being one of her Bookmarks! All of them just took the chance to become one all of their own volition. They just wanted the escape from their dissatisfying reality. Was servitude to her that much better? She couldn't tell. All that she knew was that she had such a crowd of minions behind her that she was instantly recognizable as somebody beyond suspicious. What was she supposed to do..?

"Uhm, excuse me?"

Bookkeeper twitched and nearly fell into a stack of her own papers when she heard somebody stop at her stand yet again. Oh, god, another person wanted to be a minion. She wasn't sure if she had the heart to hear them out again. She was honestly a bit tired of seeing her book slam down on them again and again and again. But... This one sounded a bit nicer than the others. And damnit, she couldn't just turn somebody away if they were nice. She had come too far to be anything but nice in return to those that deserved it.

The Villain made out of pages took a deep breath and slowly turned towards the sound in front of her stand. And she saw a cute freckled girl with a scarf wrapped around her neck and she could almost feel her heart leaving her body thanks to how adorable she was. No way, there was absolutely no way that she wanted to be one of her minions all on her own accord...

"Y-Yes, hello, what would you like to know? Well, what can't you know just by looking at the sign?" Bookkeeper smiled as she... Well, she wasn't keeping her cool. Far from it. She was on the verge of collapsing from all the emotional weight of what she had seen today and the rapid realization that the civilians of Trinity City were so easy to manipulate that it was a wonder that Villains hadn't won already...

The cute girl with the messy black hair looked down at the sign, then at the Villain, then at the sign once again. "You're a Villain..?" She muttered, a blush on her freckled cheeks. No way, she finally got a chance to meet one face to face. She... She was truly blessed...

"...Y-Yes?" Bookkeeper didn't like the look of that blush. "I'm a Villain, yes. B-Bookkeeper, as you can see. I, uh, steal books and make them my own. Or make them part of me." She said, providing a demonstration as she pulled a fully formed book out of her body. A book on law and manipulation, which she didn't even notice before she put it down on the stand. "Ah. Uhm. D-Don't mind that title-"

"W-What's it like being one of your minions?" The cute girl asked, her blush growing deeper as she asked a question that nobody really bothered asking. "I-I've always been really curious about minions that Villains make, but I've never really heard about what it's like being one. I-I thought that, since you've been making so many, maybe you could tell me?"

Bookkeeper nearly faceplanted against her desk. This girl was definitely going to end up turning into one of her Bookmarks. There was no way around it. But at least she had given her a question that she hadn't had the chance to answer thanks to how everyone just strongarmed their way into serving her. "Right. Uhm. Being one of my Bookmarks..." She muttered for a moment as she tried to figure out what she wanted to say to explain it.

"Your main job is to keep track of the knowledge that I've accumulated. It doesn't mean you know exactly what it is, but you generally serve as a beacon for me to search through my library. As for what that entails beyond that... It means that I'll keep you well fed, I'll try to take care of your needs, and you may be moved to a section of the library that contains the kind of literature and knowledge that most fits your needs and wants. B-Beyond that, you also get a benefits package whenever I don't have a current need for your continued service, letting you slink back into society until the moment I need you. I-I mean I'm not sure if I ever won't need you, but I'd like to pay you all back for the good service, and this was the only idea I had."

The girl listened to the long spiel, nodding along and taking a few notes. All while watching the Villain little by little lose her ability to stand up and seem proper and composed. She even fell into her chair by the end of it all, collapsing into herself and turning into little more than an oversized book as she tried to control her emotions. And the soft claps from the young cutie weren't helping her feel more confident!

"I... I really like all of that. It really sounds like you care a lot about your minions. But, uhm..." The girl muttered as she carefully poured through her notes to make sure that she had written things down correctly and also had the right piece of information. "Have you considered what it would be like to make them properly organized? I know you didn't have any exact plans in mind, but... I don't think it'd make sense if you wanted them to help keep you organized, and then you don't make an active effort to try and color code them or base them around something that would help you keep track of them... I don't think they'd be very effective in that case."

Bookkeeper slowly put herself back together as she heard that criticism, blinking a few times once her eyes were available again. "I... I did think about that, I've just been distracted by all the different people that eagerly volunteered to be my Bookmarks. Uh. This is awkward..." She blushed as the girl that seemed like she'd be the best kind of minion quickly proved herself to be a few steps above that. It was actually surprising. So much so that she couldn't even turn into her converting book form thanks to the embarassment currently flowing through her.

The cute girl giggled. The Villain was actually really cute. She thought Villains were a lot more composed and a lot better put together, but this opened up her eyes and showed that some of them were just as vulnerable as her. And if they were vulnerable, then she could help.

"If you'd like, I could help you. As another minion, just not a bookmark." The cute girl said as she reached out, hand ready to meet the Villain's own. "My name is Mia. And if you'd like to have me, I'm going to do my best to try and help you organize everything, Mistress." She said, not a speck of worry in her voice. Not just because she had been convinced that the Villain was a lot like her in her own way... But because she wanted to prove herself useful.

Bookkeeper blinked a few more times, before she took that hand and softly shook it. "Then... I'll happily have you, Mia." She said with a smile. Only for that smile to grow a little wider. "Sooooo... What kind of books do you like?" She took to this new minion way more than the others, giggling like a dork.

Mia giggled along. It was the start of a brand new friendship, more so than the start of a Villain owning another minion like the horde behind her.
