[Tsundere TF, Kuudere TF]
"SEEEEENNNNPAAAAAIIII!"
A whimper left the lips of one older boy as he heard a fiery shout echo through the halls of his school. Why now? He thought he could just go home and enjoy a game or two, or maybe even just spend some time with some of his friends. Why did she have to seek him out now?!
The boy in question was the second year student at Mimoto Highschool, Tsubasa Sato. A young man with a lot of nerdy interests, he tried his best to avoid standing out because he was horrid in actual confrontations. But that didn't help much when people actively started to look for him, because that lack of standing out made him stand out thanks to the contrast between him and the crowd.
And the one that wanted to grab his attention was one that he had tried to help on the first day of the new school year. A girl that immediately pushed him away and told him that he was gross. Which led him to thinking that he was just unfortunate enough to talk to somebody that didn't like him on principle... Until she showed up the next day. And the day after that. And by the time that he finally realized that she wasn't being honest with her words, she had already developed a heavy crush on him.
That crush was why she had shown up and yelled out his name, the younger girl practically ramming right into him the moment he caught a glimpse of her. So much so that he couldn't stop himself from being slammed against one of the walls, the girl planting her hand on the wall and trapping him against it with a kabedon.
"Why didn't you show up yesterday, Senpai?!" His kouhai, the tsundere that had fallen for him before he even noticed it, shouted straight at him as her fire-like twintails started blowing in the wind. Despite literally being made out of fire, those fluttering twintails were the coldest thing about her, especially as her anger burned brightly inside her eyes.
The young girl's name was Momiji Atsuhi. And though she blended in with most other students in terms of their dress sense, she had swapped out the sleeves of her uniform for a sleeveless look. Letting her armpits be on display, which only served to emphasize the heat radiating off her on a regular basis. And it wasn't just because of her temper and her tsundere-like tendencies. No, the reason why she was radiating heat was because of her blood as a Monster. She was an Ignis, which meant that part of her body was made out of fire. Especially her heart, which served to stoke the flames inside her veins to keep her body nice and warm and extra hot to the touch whenever she got angry.
"E-Eh? S-Show up? D-Did we agree on something?" Tsubasa asked as he felt the sweat pouring down his body. Despite the fact that he did his best to accomodate for Momiji's behavior, just being near her was enough to heat him up to the point where he felt like he was melting. And that was just when she wasn't angry. When she really got heated, he wouldn't be able to stand...
Momiji scoffed as she brushed her hand past her scarlet twintails. "You did! Well, I didn't actually send the text but I definitely intended to do so! We were going to watch a movie together, and you just... YOU JUST IGNORED IT!" The fiery tsundere shouted as she slammed her hand against the wall a bit harder, causing a crack to form. "What do you have to say for yourself, huh, Senpai!?"
He really didn't have anything he could say to that. Mostly because she had been the culprit behind what had happened. "I-I don't know?" Really, he didn't know anything that could soothe her, nor anything that could pull him out of the proverbial frying pan. Being honest was the only route forward.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW?!" Momiji shouted as the flames in her hair grew hotter to the point where her hair took on a shade of blue, before she grabbed the boy and started shaking him. "You should know what I'm thinking at all times! L-Like, don't you think so!? You're my Senpai, after all!"
Tsubasa wasn't exactly on board with that. But he couldn't argue against her. Not when she got this heated. Not when that flame inside her heart was starting to leak over onto him. He knew about this phenomenon, he had a few naughty fantasies all about it. He just didn't expect it to happen this way..!
He let out a moan as his gentle hair caught on fire and his body started to grow slimmer thanks to the influence of his kouhai, all while a single ponytail started to stretch out from the back of his head. It was made entirely out of fire, the fire melding into the rest of his hair as he started shrinking ever slightly...
While his body underwent the changes that made him fall more in line with his kouhai's view of him, his mind was being set ablaze too. I-It wasn't fair that she was like this. H-How could she not know that he had his own feelings on the matter? Sure, he hadn't said them out loud either, but that didn't give her the right..!
"S-Stop, Momiji!" Tsubasa cried out in a more assertive yet brattier tone as his cheeks flushed bright red, his fiery hair reflecting his kouhai's. "I-If you wanted to watch something with me, y-you could've just asked me! I-It's not like I didn't want to do things with you, idiot!"
Momiji's eyes widened as the boy she crushed on, twisted by the will of her heart's flame into somebody that was just as dishonest about their true feelings as her, just managed to say that he liked her in the most roundabout way possible. Which in turn caused her cheeks to flush as red as they possibly could and quickly back off...
Before taking off. "S-Senpai's the idiot, not me!" She shouted as she practically disappeared, leaving the boy behind even after he was still kept in a state of tsunderehood thanks to the flame inside him...
Tsubasa blinked and blushed himself, the flame burning as nice and as brightly inside him as it could. Letting him blush as he realized what this meant. She... She really did want to go out and watch that movie with him, didn't she? And because she hadn't sent him an invite, then he had to react like that, and then...
"I-I might just really be the idiot..." The boy muttered as he let the worse parts of the tsundere mindset swell within him, causing him to fall onto his knees as he had to dwell on that fact. It made the flame eat away at his heart, making it fuse more and more with him...
Right until he felt a chill rushing across his face, and the soft sound of somebody whispering into his ear. "Is something troubling you, Sato-Senpai?" The voice was just as familiar as the violent one that had served to set his heart and his body on fire thanks to its will. And this one was just as potent, the fire slowly but surely being completely smothered by the cold.
Tsubasa looked to the one that had whispered into his ear, and he saw another one of the girls that studied in the class under him. A girl who decided to combine her family's traditions with that of her school, because instead of wearing the uniform like she properly should, she wore it on top of the yukata she always wore. Making her look like she'd sweat herself to death at any time, and yet her pale skin and icy white hair made it clear that she could handle it.
He knew who she was. Yuuka Shimo. The younger sister of the student council member Yuuki Shimo, and one that was a lot more in tune with their family's nature as Yukionna. It was why every word she spoke brought cold with it, a soft chill blowing around her even as she just stood at her beloved Senpai's side...
As for how he knew of her, well... W-While he wasn't exactly the most intelligent member of his class, her older sister managed to pawn off the duty of lecturing her in the subjects she was weak in, and he managed to do so well that... Well, there was no other way to explain it than the white-haired Yukionna managed to fall for him just like the Ignis had. Why did both of them fall for him just because he helped them out...
"N-No, Yuuka. I-It's fine." While the tsundere aspects of his body had been suitably calmed thanks to the cold and the chill of Yuuka's existence, he didn't feel comfortable enough around her to avoid stuttering. Mostly because she was always so pushy despite being so calm and collected. It was hard for him to endure that kind of behavior.
Yuuka nodded, her expression practically frozen in mild bemusement. "I'm glad to hear that." She said in a hushed and flat tone, before helping her Senpai onto his feet so he wouldn't have to kneel down and put pressure on his knees for longer than necessary.
Of course things couldn't be so simple. As soon as Tsubasa took the young lady's hand, he felt the chill spreading through him, his hair quickly turning to the same icy shade of white as the cold poured through his body. It didn't feel like a malicious chill either, one that would cause him to lose control of himself completely. No, this chill was completely natural. The cold and calm and collected chill of somebody who always had themselves under control.
It's just a shame that it was the very same kind of chill that could be spread onto others thanks to the willpower of her calm mind stretching its influence over anything it touched. "Please, Sato-Senpai." Yuuka spoke as she gently put her hand on his cheek, his skin turning ever slightly pale as she stretched her influence over him more and more. "Remain calm. You're at your best when you know how to handle yourself. And I wouldn't want to see somebody break your grip on the situation..."
Calling Yuuka a kuudere, a girl who put out the necessary minimum amount of emotion to be perceived as an actual individual, would be an understatement. But she wouldn't be the only one, now that her cold had fully wormed its way into the body of her senpai, as Tsubasa slowly nodded in that characteristic subdued manner that his kouhai did...
"I will do my best, Yuuka." Tsubasa said, his voice as soft as if he was walking on the thinnest sheet of ice over a lake. And yet it wasn't cracking, no matter how many proverbial staps he took. That was the level of calm that he was operating on. The kind of calm that his kouhai wanted to see from him. "Thank you."
Little by little, a small smile worked its way onto Yuuka's face. Hearing her senpai tell her thanks was something that brought her joy beyond joy. Especially since he had shown her what he could do in the past. It was only fair that she showed him what she could do and get praise in turn. This was but one piece of that praise that she craved, and if it was able to warm her cold heart like this, then she definitely wanted more.
"HOLD ON JUST A MINUTE THERE!"
The violent shouts from earlier echoed out as the rapid-fire steps from the fiery tsundere echoed out, the girl slamming her hands against the wall as she trapped both of them in one fell swoop. All while the flames of her emotion burned brightly in her eyes, contrasting the cold in Yuuka's own. "WHO GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO TAKE AWAY MY SENPAI?!"
"I don't recall needing permission from somebody that can barely keep her emotions in check." Yuuka replied as her expression soured from that mild happiness to mild disgust instead. Honestly, this girl should've gotten out of her way a long time ago. But here they both were, each of them wanting their senpai and making sure that he was theirs and theirs alone...
"You don't need permission, idiot! YOU JUST NEED TO QUIT TRYING TO TAKE HIM BECAUSE HE'LL END UP SO MUCH MORE BORING IF YOU FREEZE HIM OVER!" Momiji shouted as she grabbed ahold of Tsubasa's arm. "Come on, Senpai! We're leaving and making sure she doesn't turn you into a soda pop!"
As Momiji pulled on that arm, her flame poured through her body and quickly thawed away at Tsubasa's body. In turn, it immediately lit up his heart thanks to that flame once more, leaving him with a flaming side-ponytail. Probably because her emotions were even more excessive and volatile compared to before.
"Sato-Senpai." Yuuka didn't back down though. Not while she could grab the boy's other wrist and hold it close to her. Keeping a firm and frozen grip to fight back against the overwhelming flames that wanted to burn away everything she loved about the boy. "You must stay strong. Don't let her burn you up..."
That eternal calm was being put to its test as it swallowed up the other half of Tsubasa's body, turning his the other side of his hair completely white and keeping him nice and pale. It was such a contrast to the wild flames pouring through his body on the other side, causing his mind and his body to be split down the middle in terms of both thoughts and aesthetics.
"S-Stop, i-it's... It's not like I want you to do this..." Tsubasa muttered as his voice swapped between the emotional strain brought on by the tsundere half of his heart while the kuudere half took over moments later and turned down any sense of emotion in him. It was a proverbial tug of war, and whoever managed to win would be able to turn the boy into their desired senpai.
Momiji listened to what her senpai said and it made her blush even harder, causing her to yell out as the flames that made up her twintails stretched out as far as they possibly could. "HE'S MINE! YOU HEARD HIM, HE WANTS ME TO DO THIS!" When a tsundere like her was this worked up, she was actively honest about her emotions. Something that let her put all of her power into tugging the young man closer to her, causing his hair to gradually catch on fire as another twintail grew and made him look a lot like the girl that crushed on him...
Only for Yuuka to return the favor by tugging hard, using her freezing powers to keep her senpai from sliding too far towards the redheaded and fire-hearted tsundere. The more she methodically approached this game of love, the more she was able to pull him towards her. Causing his flames to die down and freeze over as he was left with a completely plain bed of hair, his icy eyes staring furth ad she pulled more and more...
But it didn't last, because Momiji was quick to just turn up the heat and pull harder. Until they were both locked in equilibrium once more, with their senpai split down the middle yet again. One half completely frozen over and dominated by the kuudere who wanted him to praise her and teach her everything that he knew, one half set ablaze by emotion and very visibly on fire thanks to the tsundere's emotions and need to be with the first boy that just treated her like a normal person.
Tsubasa was not having a great day, safe to say. It wasn't often that he was forced to go through something like this. In fact, it was one of the very first times that he had been transformed through somebody's willpower. But that didn't make the experience any more pleasant. He just wanted it all to be over and done with and for those two to stop fighting over him. He didn't even know how to respond to their respective feelings because he just thought of them as friends, compared to how they crushed on him.
Those feelings of his were resonating with the emotions that were pouring into him, until the fire and the ice and the uncertainty all mixed together to a point where it all suddenly blew right up. Leading to both the tsundere and the kuudere being knocked away, all while their senpai slowly fell to the ground.
"SENPAI!" "Sato-Senpai..!" Both of the girls cried out as they scrambled towards the boy, and each of them were shocked at what they saw. Mostly because they recognized that they had ultimately been responsible for what they had done.
Tsubasa blinked a little as he slowly opened his eyes, as the quiet flames of his icy hair started to blow around. "Why... Why did you two idiots have to push me this far..." He muttered, trembling a bit as he pushed himself up. His voice was like a slightly more emotional take on his kuudere tone, while his words leaned closer to his tsundere self. What exactly had happened to him..?
Both of the girls looked to one another, prompting them to put their powers together just this once. Using Momiji's emotional flames to smoothen out a sheet of ice made between Yuuka's hands, giving it better reflective qualities and letting their senpai get a better look at himself.
As soon as he saw that his hair had turned pink, icy, and yet still had flames blowing at the sides in the form of twintails... And how his skin had taken on a pale shade of pink too to make him look like both sets of emotions had merged within...
All he could do was just pass out and accept that his day wasn't going to get any better. E-Especially since those two never bothered being up front with their emotions...
Tsubasa was going to have one difficult story to tell to Mikai the next time they meet. N-Not that he wanted to tell her, but since she was a good friend she deserved to hear it...
Ah, his thoughts were still mixed between those two types of deres too... Fun...
