[Reality Change, Slob TF]
"If my Fate is to be defeated over and over, then I don't care anymore!"
Those were the words that left Remilia Scarlet's mouth after she suffered yet another defeat at Danmaku. It had been the tenth time in a row. The first few times she had lost were fine, they were against the two heroines that had managed to solve her incident. But when she started to lose against her maid, her librarian, even her gateguard and that new shrine maiden that had decided to pay her a visit to try and extort cash out of her!? That was the point at which Remilia's patience was tested and thoroughly broken.
She was a refined lady. That was how she tried to present herself. But after having lost so much, after having put up the effort of acting like she was better than she really was... She really didn't care any longer. She retreated to her bedroom and locked herself up, refusing to leave as she accepted that her fate was awful. She didn't even bother changing it, accepting that her fate was to either lose horribly or just waste away until nobody cared about her.
But what Remilia didn't realize was that her power to manipulate Fate was at its strongest whenever she reached a peak emotional state. And the frustration that she felt at losing over and over reached such a powerful point that it was impossible for it not to have an adverse effect on her surroundings. Something that she almost immediately noticed as she retreated into her bedroom.
Instead of the queen-sized bed that she had slept in each and every day, where she had been carefully woken from her slumber, she had little more than a couch that seemed to be rather used propped up against the wall. At the other end was a big TV. It wasn't the best TV, in fact it was probably just enlarged thanks to the powers of one of her gaming buddies. But it meant that she didn't have to get up from her couch, she could just lay there and play games all day. At least then she wouldn't have to worry about being beaten at something as stupid as Danmaku. She just had to play games all day, every day.
Remilia sighed as she sat down, unaware of her clothes changing from a elegant red dress to little more than a pair of dirty shorts and an equally dirty tank top that made her look more like a tired parent than a regal lady of the house. Not that she cared. As long as she could play her games and escape from this cruel reality, then everything would be fine...
Of course, she wasn't the only one that was being affected by the change to her own fate. Nor was her bedroom the only part of her manor that started to change accordingly...
---
The Head Maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, Izayoi Sakuya. The one that personally trained every single fairy that was in the manor's employ, to ensure that they knew the whole building inside out. If they were not aware of where everything was, they would miss a spot and as a result ruin the perfect aesthetic of the entire manor. That was something that she had come to be very particular about, because it was one of the few things that she prided herself on ever since she fell into Remilia's employ.
...So, after the change that had occured to her mistress' fate, where exactly did she find herself? Simple. She found herself relaxing in bed, snuggled up under the sheets because she didn't have work to do. If her mistress didn't bother doing anything, then she wouldn't bother doing anything else. So what if the manor was getting all dirty? It didn't really matter to her. What mattered was that she finally got the chance to sleep hours and hours of hard work away, getting the chance to finally recover all her lost energy.
What would she do with it? Good question. Probably nothing. Honestly, there was something she had completely neglected due to her hard working attitude. And that was that sleep was really, really good. There was no reason for her to do anything except enjoy the mere act of sleeping.
In fact, she almost envied the way that Meiling, the gateguard, managed to sleep without issue. She had given her a hard time due to the fact that she kept letting in intruders due to her constant napping, but now she totally understood. Sleeping was wonderful. Just letting the dreams and the emptiness of floating on those soft clouds wash over her... It was like she had been shown a whole new world, and she didn't want to lose out on any part of it.
There was just one thing that made all this sleep feel a little less gratifying. Even though she enjoyed it, even though she didn't want to wake up... She really wanted somebody else to sleep with. But she couldn't disturb her Mistress, since she was busy gaming half of the time. And Meiling... Well, she actually used her time without work to do whatever she wanted, and that happened to not involve sleeping like a log in front of the gate all the time. Which meant that Sakuya just had to accept that she had to sleep all alone.
Oh well... She didn't really mind that much either way... Time to sleep a bit more...

Hong Meiling. The gateguard of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. A practitioner of the martial arts, and a foreigner to Gensokyo due to her roots in China. And yet, she had been here for long enough to be seen as just another one of the girls that populated this fantastical world.
What did she do when she had all the time in the world to herself, considering her Mistress having given up on trying to look like a presentable young lady? Simple. She ignored her duties, letting the garden grow nice and big and almost outpace the manor itself, all while she got busy with one of her favorite passtimes.
She bought a whole bunch of movies from the outside world, as well as a simple little TV, and indulged herself by watching a bunch of them back to back to back. She didn't even bother getting up from her comfy chair to try and act out any of the moves either. She just sat there, eyes practically glued to the flimsy little screen as she mimicked the kiai that the actors let out with all their fancy kicks and punches.
This was something that she normally did whenever she had the time. But when she did it during her days as a proper gateguard, she used it to learn how to more efficiently deal with intruders like that black-white. But now that she could just watch them... She overindulged.
The last time anybody had seen her, at least after the change to her Mistress' fate, was about a week ago. Meiling didn't even bother leaving her little shed at this point. The movies were too engrossing, and she didn't have any work to do. So she got herself completely and utterly hooked.
Even when she could recite every single one of those movies line for line, even when she could act them out if she bothered getting up from her chair... She enjoyed them. Because they were comforting. They were predictable. Work wasn't predictable. Work had a high chance of resulting in her getting pummeled or smacked with a broom.
This was why Meiling enjoyed movies. Not just because she could indulge in them. But because, like her Mistress had gotten skittish and unresponsive after she was forced into her bedroom out of frustration at losing so much, she wanted to avoid losing again and again. And how could you lose if you knew everything inside out?
Meiling just laughed along to the sight of cool stuff in the movies, and let herself waste away inside the shed. Maybe someday she'd show Sakuya... If she could be bothered to get up from her chair...

"Patchyyy... Where's the poooorn..."
"Not giving it unless you get over here."
"But Patchyyyyy..."
This was a common occurence inside the Scarlet Devil Mansion library. Because one of the few people that hadn't been affected by her Mistress' fate was the librarian herself, Patchouli Knowledge. Since she was practically already a lazy bum before this, partly due to her constitution being awful, she didn't really feel any change brought upon her.
The one that did change, however, was her obedient and loyal succubus assistant, Koakuma. Not only was the tiny devil going without her usual garments, she didn't even bother wearing anything, flying around the library at a snail's pace while her tits bounced around the place. And in regards to her job, instead of bothering to put all the books away that she picked out from the bookshelves... She just grabbed them and read them before tossing them onto the floor. This was why there were a bunch of different piles just laying around, with absolutely nothing to identify what pile had which books in them.
Honestly, that was one of the few ways that Patchouli had been affected. Her usual need to have everything organized was severely reduced. But it was exchanged for something much more important, and that still revolved around her useless assistant. Namely the fact that, while a lot of the library was in shambles due to the latter's lack of care, the librarian herself knew where the good things were.
And how did she manage to get the succubus to go along with what she wanted? Simple. The succubus had completely forgotten how everything was arranged, because her laziness came with a lot of desire to just get instant gratification. She wanted to cum now and not bother with the how. As a result...
"A-Ahn!"
She'd usually end up on Patchouli's lap, getting fondled like she was nothing but a sex toy, all while she read the pornographic texts in front of her. Well, it wasn't usually texts at this point. More doujinshi with hot illustrations inside. And thanks to her boss being more than happy to play with her, there was no reason for her to worry about exerting extra energy to get close to her orgasm.
All she had to do was look at the hot pictures, while Patchouli remained the only one that bothered to be active in the entire manor... and only because it meant that she could play with Koakuma's sexy body for such a long time...

"Siiiiissss. Let me plaaaaaay."
"Get your own system."
"Noooooooo."
And finally, we return to the scene of the crime. The bedroom belonging to Remilia Scarlet. Or rather, the bedroom belonging to the Scarlet Sisters. Because as it turns out, by changing her fate to make her that of a loser who only plays video games all day, she gets her sister wrapped up in it too.
Flandre Scarlet, the destructive girl that had been shut inside the basement because of fear regarding what her power could do, was now laying against her sister's side, practically laying on top of her. And instead of bothering her about the fact that she had locked her inside a damp room with no food, no air, no nothing? She just complained about the fact that she wasn't able to play games with her. Because with this changed fate rippling through her, she had always been watching the older sister play her games. So naturally, now that they shared a room, she wanted to play too.
"Fine. Here." Remilia said, splitting her controller in two and giving one half to the girl. Something that was easy to do considering the simple controls of the game she was playing. "Bet you can't win." She grinned, a bit of her competitive spirit starting to eke out over her uselessness.
Flandre was more than happy to play with her sister... And she wouldn't feel too deterred once they both lost. Even if they tried their best.
Because at the end of the day... This was the reality of the Slacker Devil Mansion. Nothing really mattered anymore.
