[Magical Girl TF]
"So, let me get this straight. What exactly am I supposed to be looking for?"
"If I knew, I'd damn well tell you. All that I know is that we've picked up a signal that's not unlike the ones that Jõtaijin give off. We're better off checking it out before it turns into a real problem, so you're working overtime today."
"I see. Well, if it ends up being nothing important, I'll just take away one bottle of Milk when I pay you back next week."
"You know I can lock your armor up at a moment's notice. Don't mess with me, Hiro."
"I'm not messing with my favorite kitten."
Before she had the honor of getting her ear shouted off by a blushy and angry kitten, the line went dead at the armored heroine's command. Silence replaced the idle conversation she had started with her fellow Atlas Corp employee, as she took a deep breath and looked around her.
"Are you sure that this is the wisest approach to your relationship with Byakko, Hiro?" A gentler voice said, as a young boy appeared on her shoulder. A digitized construct of the AI that controlled her systems, and the closest thing she had to a copilot during the many missions she went on.
The woman clad in black and white armor, Hiro Fukano, nodded and adjusted her gauntlets, making sure that everything was properly pouring through her systems so she wouldn't be caught in a situation where she wasn't prepared. "Byakko and I have gone through this routine for about five years or so at this point. If she really wanted to go through with her threats, she'd have done it a long time ago. Right now, it's nothing but teasing on both fronts."
"I see. I'll have to take note of this 'teasing'. Perhaps I too can indulge in it, later down the line." The digital boy, Huanglong as he had been dubbed by his original programmer, nodded softly. "It would go well with all the information I have regarding your personal interests, new and old."
Hiro felt a bit of sweat pouring down the side of her head. "You always act like you'll have to learn, but you've picked up on the finer details way quicker than a certain somebody." She muttered. Great. Now she could get blackmailed by an AI. As if her day couldn't possibly get worse.
Why was she out on patrol anyway? This was a day that she had set aside for some personal time. There were several releases that she had to catch up on that were important to her, whether it was the limited edition rerelease of Shining Aces complete with matching figurines and plushies of the main heroines, as well as the Natura Couleur Natura Box Set which contained incomplete versions of each episode with wildly different events. The former was something she wanted to pick up because it was important to her younger years, and the latter... Well, she just wanted to see how much the animators had been screwing around with the many takes that they had her record. And so she could hear her dear friends again, in a much more lax environment.
But no. As it turns out, activity had been registered in Mimoto Park, and as the chief enforcer of Atlas Corp as well as its sole sponsored heroine, she had to turn up and try to figure out just what had happened. Otherwise, people might just complain about a lack of protection. Not that she needed motivation to go out and do heroic things, but she also wanted a bit of time to herself...
"Any sign of the culprit behind the energy we measured, Huanglong? Or was this all just one big waste of time?" Hiro asked as she walked towards the direct center of the park, her visor swapping between filters and scanners to try and pick up on anything that seemed out of the ordinary.
The digitized boy on her shoulder remained rather quiet as he brushed his hands through the data in front of him. "So far, nothing. We've picked up the faint stench of willpower in several discarded items laying in between the blades of grass, but those don't seem to be what we're looking for. Why would somebody throw away an item they cared about..?"
"They don't care about those items, Huanglong." Hiro muttered as she glanced to the side and just sighed. The items that Huanglong had picked up weren't anything that people would cherish. It was stuff like discarded condoms... Which honestly made sense, there had been a rather large music fest just a few nights ago, and the park staff couldn't clean up everything that was left behind by the patrons as it evolved from entertainment into a passion-filled orgy.
Now if only she wasn't so intimately familiar with how those crowds worked thanks to one of her former subordinates, she would've probably been able to ignore the discarded rubbers. For now, she just had to live with the fact she'd notice them, and live with the mental imagery flooding her mind as a result...
"...Hiro. Foreign presence detected. Arm yourself."
Thankfully, Huanglong was there to keep her mind focused on the task at hand. Good thing too, she didn't want to think about the time she got dressed up like one of those music-enthused punks and joined in while she had gotten extremely intoxicated. Instead, she could focus all of her energy on the target.
"Oh me, oh my! What a cute girl I've found! But she's stuck in such a terrible and drab costume, that won't do for a Warrior of Love!"
A matured voice cried out, as a bunch of hearts started to float above the fountain that served as the park's most obvious landmark. And as those hearts popped, a woman appeared with one foot gracefully balancing her on top of the razor sharp tip where all the water was supposed to spout from. And yet despite the fact she was standing on it, the spouts still fired off in four directions, giving her an almost ethereal feel.
The woman was dressed in an expansive white and pink dress with lots of hearts either imprinted upon it or cut out of it depending on how far up the dress the heart was. The most egregious spots being a set of cut out hearts on her chest and her stomach, with matching tattoos being exposed thanks to the holes cut out in the dress. Combine all of that with her hair being tied into twintails that had red and pink swirling around one another in perfect harmony, and she looked almost like a magical girl. It was only the rather large bosom that stuck out from her chest and her hips almost tearing a part of her skirt apart that ruined the illusion...
Hiro blinked a couple of times as she looked at the maternally bodied woman on top of the fountain, and quietly started scanning. "You have got to be kidding me. There's no way that this would illicit an appropriate response, she's just a delusional woman..."
Unfortunately for Hiro, upon scanning the twintailed motherly magical girl, all the warning signs popped up. Not the ones directly tied to Jõtajin, confirming that she wasn't a threat in the general sense, but the ones that tied into excessive willpower production sure did. Which meant that if she wasn't contained and given a harsh sense of reality, she could probably cause just as many problems as Jõtaijin. Not unlike those delinquents that had been popping up around the city, the ones that were involved in a school-sized gang war...
"She seems like your type, Hiro." Huanglong said, his voice not changing even a slight bit to make it harder to tell if he was being genuine or sarcastic. Either way, he started to flicker into smaller wisps, his visage no longer necessary as they approached a potentially volatile situation. "Your lead. Deal with the threat as you see fit."
Hiro nodded as parts of her body started to glow, energy pouring through as she got ready for combat. "Listen up! I'm taking you in for questioning! Resist, and I'll have to use force!" She didn't even bother trying to figure out what exactly she was dealing with. Not when it looked this absurd.
The love-filled magical girl-like woman huffed as she crossed her arms. "You shouldn't use force, you're a heroine, just like me! Deep within that heart of yours, I know there's love just waiting to burst forth. And that's why I'm here! I, Love, the Magical Queen, will bring that love out of you and make you the best you can be!" She cried out, as she leapt off the fountain with hearts leaving her feet as she flew through the air.
Hiro grit her teeth a bit. Why did she have to deal with the love maniac? Why couldn't Mikai have been- actually, scratch that, this would be an even worse situation if Mikai was here. Because then she'd probably end up teasing her unintentionally, even if she was being entirely honest with her feelings. Better to just deal with this problem now and not worry about anything else.
With her body briefly electrifying, she dashed forward. "THUNDERBOLT!" She cried out, the energy spent to propel herself forward quickly traversing her suit as it gathered up above in her fist, making it electrify as well as it aimed square at the woman in front of her.
"LOVE BARRIER!"
Unfortunately for Hiro, she found herself overwhelmed by a giant heart that served as the Magical Queen's shield, the heart popping upon taking in too much of the power that had been in the heroine's punch. At the same time, the blowback from the massive heart popping didn't seem to hurt the heroine, just knock her back.
Love giggled as she clapped her hands together, only for a heart to appear at her fingertips. Upon reaching into the heart, she pulled out a heart-tipped baton. Her Magical Wand! "As long as I have Love in my heart, the Magical Queen is unbeatable!" The Magical Queen cried out as she spun the wand around a couple of times, causing a heart to grow bigger and bigger at the tip of the spinning baton. "Let's set that Undying Love free!" She cried out, before she suddenly brought the spinning to a stop and fired the heart straight at the heroine...
Hiro wanted to dodge. But at the same time, getting out of the way of a heart that was fired at her that fast was a bit difficult. Especially since her suit had built in cooldown periods after she used a certain amount of energy. Which meant that she was struck straight in the heart by the heart, her body immediately convulsing as she thought she might've been hurt... Only to realize that no such damage had occurred. She was perfectly fine. A little shaken from the shock, maybe, but there was no actual damage done to her armor.
"Huanglong. Diagnostics, no-"
Just as she tried to figure out if something had actually happened, her heart skipped a beat. And she let out a cry of pure delight, as her eyes started to turn into hearts while her armor flattened against her body until there was nothing left of it, leaving her completely naked for but a few moments.
But that nakedness wouldn't last. From her heart sprouted a set of ribbons that wrapped around her body, quickly giving her a set of modesty. Those ribbons wrapped further and further around her until they started to layer upon themselves. Not to try and encase her and lock her away from the world at large, but rather clothe her once more in something more appropriate for a Warrior of Love.
Pink ribbons forming a skirt. Deeper red ribbons wrapping around her torso and forming the midsection that had an ample cutout for her bosom, to the point where she had a bit of bouncing cleavage barely held up by the ribbons themselves. Long elegant gloves that were more fit for a ballroom, and a set of equally elegant leg-length boots that were kept hidden underneath her ribbon-y skirt.
By the time the ribbons stopped moving, she could feel her body actively throbbing. And her heart was now on full display. Not the actual muscle that was pumping blood through her and keeping her moving at all times. No, the representation of her love for everyone that had been in her life... It had been crystalized, serving as the center of all the ribbons that now adorned her body.
"M-My Love..." Hiro muttered. Only to shake her head. "My... L-l... L-Looo... MY LOVE-" She was trying to talk about her heart tying all the ribbons together. But every time she tried to say the word 'Heart', it was replaced by the word 'Love'. Because that's what was sticking out of her. Her very own Love, for herself, for the people around her, and for the world she tried to protect. "Huanglong, help me out!" She cried out, her voice betraying the frustration currently bubbling around inside her...
Her steadfast ally answered her call, but instead of a digitized companion, a draconic youth popped out of her Love, his body covered in the same ribbons. In fact, those very same ribbons formed the basis for his scaled skin, the boy looking very perplexed as he touched himself and his eastern-styled tail. "Huh. What's this?"
"I'd hope you'd be able to tell me!" Hiro cried out, panting a bit. The sheer amount of love, for everything and everyone around her, was starting to get a bit much for her. What could she do to dial it down a few levels and just... not get overwhelmed by pure love?
"Do not fret, young Warrior of Love!" The Magical Queen cried out to try and break the confusing emotions' grip on her ally, giggling a bit as she stepped closer. "I've merely let your Love out, freed it from the emotional shackles that you had used to lock it up. And by freeing it, you've been transformed into your true form, as yet another Warrior of Love. Together, we'll be able to save the people of this world and teach them what kind of Love that they've missed out on!" She declared, almost immediately accepting the heroine as one of her allies...
Huanglong nodded a bit, all while his hands were busy caressing his long tail. "It seems as if you've turned into one of your passions, Hiro." He said, blushing a bit. "By the way, are Magical Girl partners supposed to be this soft? And... cute?" He then asked, as the blush deepened. "What even is cute? I understand the definition, but I fail to see how I can associate that definition with my current state..."
"I'm... I'm a Magical Girl." Hiro muttered, her Love throbbing as it confirmed her statement. Not only was she a Magical Girl. She was a Warrior of Love. One of the types of Magical Girl that would never back down from anything. As long as their Love was true, they could fight until the bitter end. Nothing would be able to shatter the love they had for one another, for the ones they cared about, or the world..!
Which was rather ironic considering how much she had suffered through. Losing allies and friends to the pursuit of dealing with the Jõtaijin menace once and for all. Here she was. Empowered by the emotion she though she had pushed into the darkest corner of her mind so she could focus. "This... This isnnnn-" Her voice strained as she tried to deny the Love on her chest. All while her heart-filled eyes tried to flicker back to their original state....
Love wrapped her loving arms around her fellow Warrior of Love, stuffing her cute head right into her loving bosom. "It's okay, Love's here for you. Just let the Love take over, and I'll be right by your side. Together, we can do anything!" The maternal Magical Queen recited, trying to pour her Love and her Trust into the new Warrior of Love.
Huanglong watched carefully as Hiro's hair quickly turned from its usual black and white skunk-like colors into a pure shade of pink with a single stripe of white, the troubled heroine's expression turning from a struggling one into one that couldn't be happier. While he would love to record this for later, his current form didn't have any electronic functions. All that he could do was sigh a bit and slowly sink back into the Love on the woman's chest, hoping that she would be able to break through the Love that had transformed her.
Hiro's eyes lit up with bright hearts as she hugged Love back, smiling from ear to ear. "Of course, Love! You and me, and everyone else whose Love has been locked away by their awful emotions... We'll do what we can to save them, and save everyone else as well!"
"That's excellent! But you can't go by that old name anymore. Not while you're a Warrior of Love. Why don't you pick one yourself? One that makes your Love scream out, just like mine has?" Love, the converted heroine's beloved Magical Queen, did her very best to push the woman down an even greater path of love. One where she took control using that love.
Hiro thought about it for but a moment, before she pulled back and put her hands over her Love. "I'm... Hope! The Hope that comes with one's Undying Love! Thank you so much, Love, for giving me the chance to be who I should've been!" Hope cried out, delighted at her brand new name and identity.
The Magical Girl and the Magical Queen both giggled and laughed alongside one another, their new purpose laid bare. They were going to take this city by storm and free Love and Hope from everyone's hearts...
And by the time Hiro finally broke free from this new identity, she'd shut herself away for a month in pure embarrassment...
