[Tokusatsu Themes, Cowboy/girl TF, Corruption]
"Ehhhh? Where's everyone gone? Aren't we supposed to meet in here?"
The surprised and shrill voice of a young girl echoed out through the darkness that served as the gathering place of the Cosmos Queens, all while a sharp pink light shone from the source of the voice.
"Seems like they're all busy with that world that Virgo started to invade. What a shame, what a shame! I wanted to spend some time with Leo, pet her and tell her that its okay that she's not the Empress' favorite..."
Another light appeared, this one softer and green, accompanying the more masculine sounding voice. It was still a feminine tone, but it had to belong to some sort of boy.
Naturally, as their platform lit up within the darkness. The platform belonging to Gemini.
"So what do we do then?" The feminine voice spoke up, as the light on the platform started to swirl around. "Maybe we should go join them, deal with that obstacle ourselves!" She chimed, giggling as her light turned sharper. There was nothing that brought her greater joy than bringing violence to somebody that deserved to be bullied...
"Now now, Gem. It's okay. We'll wait, like the good Queens we are." The boyish light said, twirling around his sister as he giggled as well. "Besides, if we go join in, we won't have any fun! We'd crush that thing wayyyy too early." He tried to reason with his sister, all while bringing emphasis to their combined power.
The sister Gemini, Gem, giggled in tandem with her brother. "Ino, you're right. We have to wait. But..." She said, trailing off as she looked at all of the empty platforms. And the ones that had been completely erased, thanks to their fall to the one that stood in their way. "What if we end up being the last ones around? What do we do then?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Ino giggled, as his light floated towards the empty throne belonging to their leader, Empress Andromeda. "As long as we're here, the Queens will remain a force to reckon with. And if the Empress doesn't return, then we'll just have to keep order. Isn't that right, Gem?" The conniving boy chimed, his light sharpening as his true plans came to light.
"You're right, Ino!" Gem giggled as she joined him on the throne, cackling as they started to spin around the throne. A throne that very well could be theirs, in due time...
They just had to wait for the right moment...

Today was yet another great day in Mimoto. At least, it wasn't being attacked by Jotaijin yet, so it could always go worse. Which was a blessing, considering how often people ended up letting their emotions get exploited and peak to the point where they transformed into volatile Monsters that wanted to turn people into their personal Pawns.
And on this wonderful day, four young individuals made their way down the street, each of them in their own kind of mood as they had just been the patrons of a certain club underneath the Capricorn Casino that had appeared just a little while ago.
"S-So many..." The lone boy amongst the four, Tsubasa Sato, trembled and panted as he felt his face heating up. How was a boy like him supposed to handle a trip to a high class strip club? Not only that, how was he supposed to handle the fact that several of the assigned dancers looked almost identical to one of his idols, the city's other heroine, Hiro? Ah, just letting his mind run wild was causing him to end up in an even worse state...
"Tsubasa, I told you that you wouldn't be able to handle it." The black-haired girl amongst the four, Yumeko Watanabe, chuckled a little as she watched one of her closest friends dissolve into a pile of perverted thoughts. She knew all about his personal interests, and how he had grown to adore the woman that had saved him near the start of the semester. So to see him short-circuiting like this, when faced with attractive women who made it their job to force the money out of him with their bodies? Really, it was about what she expected from somebody like him. "What'd you think, Mikai? Did you like their dancing?"
"Dancing?" The sandy-blonde amongst the group who was also the shortest of the bunch, Mikai Fushimi, spoke up as she looked to her black-haired friend. "They were dancing? I was just listening to the nice singing. Sagi was really good at it!" She chimed, smiling from ear to ear. Now that she had helped the Cosmos Queen in charge of that club, Seductress Sagittarius, to turn over a new leaf... Her songs were a lot less enthralling and a lot more uplifting. Even if she just missed the part where all the lyrics were thinly veiled metaphors for something much lewder than she ever could think of.
Their newest friend, and the only one who didn't wear the same sort of uniform, giggled as she listened to her short friend. "I did not expect you to find such delight in songs, Mikai. Perhaps you're fit for the stage?" Medae Nembus, a transfer student who still hadn't swapped over to the colors of Mimoto Highschool. "And, I do have to thank you again. I didn't expect an invitation so suddenly, but..."
"You were happy to have me guide you around the city, so I thought it'd be a good idea to start out somewhere new! Besides, I had an extra ticket, and Hiro and Agatha both refused. Hiro I could understand, but why would Agatha? She didn't really tell me anything, except that a new maid had arrived..." The young girl mused on the possible reasons why she could've been rejected, her steaming brain producing a couple of steamy question marks as they poured out of her ears.
Both of her feminine friends giggled at the sight of her trying her best to think. All while Tsubasa was still trying to work through his horny headache. Ah, it wasn't a good thing that he got horny this quickly. It would be death of him if he got this worked up during a Monster attack, much less another Jotaijin incident...
Mikai didn't really mind the two laughing at her, she did think it was funny that she tried that hard to figure out why Agatha rejected her. But somebody did mind the laughing. And that was Yumeko, as she shot a mildly hostile look towards the new jade-green-haired friend.
"Say, Medae... You said you weren't from this city?" She asked, smiling as she always did. All while letting Mikai and Tsubasa walk past them, so she could spend a moment alone with the newcomer.
Medae nodded, brushing her hand through her hair a little. "Indeed, I've come from afar. Why, does that perplex you, Yumeko?" She asked, keeping her own smile on her face.
"I was just curious. You mentioned that you had heard of Mikai. How recently did you hear of her?" The black-haired girl asked again, all while keeping her hands by her waist. All to seem approachable.
The newcomer nodded and tapped away at her chin for a few seconds as she tried to recall. "I believe I first heard about her when I was on the outskirts of the city? Though not her directly, more that there was a pair of heroines in this city. After hearing more about this 'Mimoto', and putting together the information about who it could be, I arrived at Mikai as the only possible lead. And suffice to say, she's proven herself to be quite the heroine. Just as I expected her to be."
"Quite the cunning observation!" Yumeko chimed, clapping as if to praise the newcomer. "I just wanted to understand why you had gravitated towards her, but it seems like my worries were all for naught." She explained, brushing one of her hands up against her forehead to wipe a bit of her sweat away.
"Worries? With a girl like her around, why would you ever be worried?" Medae chimed, bowing slightly in front of the black-haired girl to return and accept the praise, before doing her best to catch up to the two that had left them behind.
"Oh, I have plenty of reason to worry for her sake." Yumeko sighed, scratching the back of her head ever slightly. At least she could put this hunch to bed, and worry about the present instead of the future...
For now, she had to catch up, and-
"Eh? Is that Spider over there?"
Yumeko blinked as it didn't take long to catch up to the pervert and the shortie, peering between them to try and find what they were staring at. And indeed, there seemed to be a rather familiar looking black-clad woman in the distance.
"S-Spider?" Tsubasa asked as he looked down at Mikai, tilting his head ever slightly. "Is that one of those, y-y'know." He muttered, his body trembling as he remembered the first time he was stuck in one of the Jotaijin incidents. He'd rather avoid that, even if he was in a softer situation than most.
"Would you three like to fill me in, or is this something that I should stay silent about?" Medae asked as she glanced onward herself, letting one eye drift towards the other three as she watched for their reactions.
Mikai scratched the back of her head a bit as she looked to Yumeko, then Tsubasa, then Medae. "How about I just deal with her, and you three get to safety? We don't know if she'll try anything. Especially since she seems to be all alone." She said, her belt appearing around her waist as her body started to radiate with heat.
"You heard her." Yumeko smiled, grabbing both of her friends by the shoulders. "Let Mimoto handle this. Call me when you're done, Mikai, and I'll treat you."
Before Tsubasa had much of a chance to protest that he wanted to see what the lady was planning, or even just try to admire the sleek sense of style that she had, he was dragged away.
Medae followed after Yumeko, letting her keep her hand on her shoulder. All while she slowly stroked her cheek, sighing softly. Where had that little girl of hers gone..?
Mikai took a deep breath once they were all gone, and then let her hand slide across her belt while she held the other in front of her. "HENSHIN!" She shouted, and her body was immediately consumed by the flames from her heart, gathering before solidifying into a lion themed set of armor.
Fully transformed, Jotaider Mimoto dashed towards one of her most dangerous enemies, the despicable General Spider who seemed to just be standing in the distance, currently occupied by something.
"Spider! What are you doing here!?" She shouted, her fists and her feet catching on fire as she prepared herself for a fight. She had fought against the General many times before, and she had come out on top several times over. To see her coming back for yet another round wasn't a surprise, if anything it just excited her more. But there still had to be a reason why the General had decided to show up like this!
General Spider grit her teeth as she turned towards the armored heroine, a hand brushing through her lavender hair as she grabbed one of the ends, squeezing it between her fingers. "Why, if it isn't the midget who keeps getting in my way! But I don't have time for you today, Mimoto! I'm looking for something else, somebody that should've been here hours ago!"
"...Eh? You, waiting for somebody?" Mimoto said as the flames on her hands and feet disappeared, extingushing like her want to smash the evil General into the dirt. "That's not like you. You don't usually wait, you just go straight into the action. Who are you and what did you do with my Spider?" She asked, dramatically pointing at the woman in front of her. An imposter, for sure!
Spider could feel every single vein on her forehead popping as she stared at the heroine. Who had given her permission to affectionately refer to her in that way? "Shut up, and scram! I'm not doing anything for Golden Freedom today, this is personal business! And I don't want you involved when there's greater matters at stake!" She shouted, her cheeks flushing bright red. Honestly, she could just crush the girl right here and now, but then...
"Might'ya be lookin' for this, crook?"
The sound of leather hitting the ground echoed from a bit further away, prompting both Villain and Hero to turn towards the sound, only to see an unfamiliar face addressing the two of them with a grin.
And at her side was a boy that just happened to be tied up in a lasso, his body trembling the harder it dug into his form. All while he panted and moaned, as if this kind of bondage was so wonderful...
"Hey! That's my boy! Give him back!" Spider shouted, the sweat pouring down her cheeks. She had just managed to grab ahold of the fourth Tachibana sibling, who had been digging his nose too deep in Golden Freedom's affairs. How did this bitch manage to steal him away from under her nose?
Mimoto blinked a little before she entered a stance, the flames on her body igniting once more. "Well, you've captured somebody that a baddie's captured before that. That means you're probably a bigger baddie. And I won't let you get away with it!" It was simple, yet absolutely sound logic. Now all she had to do was keep this up, and find a way to deal with that woman.
The mysterious villainess pushed her leather hat up with the barrel of one of her many revolvers, giggling as her pearly whites reflected the sun above. Her body was tanned, and the way she wore basically nothing except for a couple of belts across the most important spots of her body, barring a set of stars plastered onto her nipples, meant that she had way more confidence than many others considering how much she left unguarded. Not that somebody like her cared, it meant that she had more than enough space to carry as many guns as she wanted, and the ammo to spare along the inside of those very same belts.
"Name's Lawkeeper Libra! And you two crooks, you've been causing quite the problem for my sweet Empress! So, it's time to throw you two behind bars until you learn to listen to the rules!" The villainess shouted, giving away her identity as a Cosmos Queen in the process, before she whipped her revolvers up and aimed them straight at both of her opponents. "Now git 'em, boys and girls!"
Libra turned her gun towards her hostage and shot him straight through the heart, causing his entire outfit to burst off him, replaced with a belt-bikini that slung around his crotch and his shoulders as a smaller star attached down below. A hat dropped down on his head as he was filled with a fever, his cheeks flushing bright red and his eyes turning into stars as he brandished his own revolvers.
"You heard the boss! Git 'er!" The Tachibana brother cried out as he shot into the air, and as if they had materialized from nowhere, many more cowboy-like minions made their entrance, all of them riding what seemed to be another brainwashed individual running on all fours, the saddle on their back being the only thing that identified them as 'horses'.
Mimoto felt the sweat running down her back as she looked at the absurd army in front of her. "Uhhh... Truce?" She asked, looking towards the black-clad General who definitely still wasn't in a great mood.
"Only until I get Tachibana back. In exchange, you turn a blind eye this one time!" Spider shouted as strings started to lower from her fingertips. While she loathed the idea of working together with that girl, this was an exception. Especially since one of those damned Cosmos Queens just had to encroach on her territory..!
Libra laughed as she watched the chaos unfold. While her minions weren't exactly the strongest, appointing a 'deputy' and giving them a 'mule' was as easy as landing a single bullet. And that's all they needed to do. If she landed her bullet, then she could turn the tides rather quickly. And then she'd get the special prize for taking down this world's hero!
Mimoto jumped between the many horses that tried to trample her. Or rather, the men and women that had been turned into steeds. This was getting weirder by the second, wasn't this some sort of pet play? Or what did Tsubasa call it? This was one of the few times where she wished she had remembered what he told her, because it would help!
Spider stood her ground compared to her enemy. Swinging the stringy silk that poured forth from her fingers, using them to latch onto the riders and throwing them off. "What are you dodging for!? Fight them already! If you don't, you'll just get converted!" The General shouted at her ineffective ally, panting as she threw another one of the riders at a group of steeds, her cheeks flushing red due to how much she had already exerted herself.
"But I don't know who to hit if I want to deal with them!" Mimoto shouted as she jumped out of the way of one of the riders trying to run her over, sweat pouring around inside her armor. "These guys aren't like Pawns! They don't just topple over after a few hits, they keep going until you take out the leader!"
"Are you calling my Pawns worse than these idiots!?" Spider didn't like what the girl insinuated, the anger bubbling around in her blood as the strings at the tips of her fingers grew longer and longer. "I'll show you that they're worth nothing!" The temperamental villain cried out as she slung her improvised weapons all around her, grabbing several riders and steeds at the same time to forcibly wrap them into a ball thanks to the stickiness of her string.
"TAKE THIS, YOU TERRIBLE EXCUSE FOR A VILLAIN!" Spider shouted once again as she threw the ball straight towards Lawkeeper Libra, the sweat running down her face like a waterfall as it seemed like she had completely nullified the woman's offense thanks to having balled every single minion up at once..!
*Bang*
Only for the pile to collapse into boys and girls that had been returned to normal, courtesy of the smoking gun held in the blonde cowgirl villainess' hand.
"W-What?" Spider didn't understand. Those bitches could convert their victims back to normal just like that?! What was their end goal if they just treated people like tools... M-More so than she did, anyway!?
Lawkeeper Libra grinned from ear to ear as she flicked the chamber of her revolver open, spun the gun, and a brand new set of bullets flew into every slot of the chamber thanks to her power. Once she snapped the chamber shut, she pointed the barrel in the direction of General Spider...
And she fired, the lavender-haired villain too shocked to react to the speed of that bullet.
"CHOU HENSHIN!"
But Mimoto wasn't. In that moment, when the trigger was pulled, she let her flaming armor crack off her to reveal her icy Frost Wolf form, using the extra speed that the form provided to pull her nemesis out of the bullet's path, all while carrying her in her arms like a bride.
"Not a second too late!" Mimoto shouted, laughing a little as her knees buckled. Sheesh, that villain was heavy. Did she eat too much, or was this just the weight of a Jotaijin..?
General Spider's mind caught up with what was happening, prompting her to shake her head violently. "You tell nobody about this!" She shouted, leaping out of the girl's arms as she dusted herself off. "And you're going straight for that bitch, NOW!" There was no time to waste. If all it took was one shot, then all would take from their end was one shot as well. Even if that infernal heroine would be the one to deliver the blow!
"Let's see you two dance, then!" Libra cried out as she pulled another revolver from her belt, grinning as she let loose with every bullet she had. Her power allowed her aim to remain completely balanced, ensuing that the bullet would fly straight and true.
Unfortunately, it would find a massive web of string woven into its path, leaving them stuck thanks to all the inertia that caused the bullets to speed down with every string they collided with. A perfect defensive option when faced with perfect aim.
Libra tossed her revolvers aside and drew new ones from her belt, picking them up and aiming towards the same spots she had fired at before to pierce through easier. Or she would've, if not for the way she noticed a path made of web heading straight towards her.
Mimoto dashed along the webbed path, using her ice to stick to the curving road. It spun through the air like a spiral, staying just far enough apart that there was no way that the Cosmos Queen could find the perfect point to fire at. Especially with her incredible speed.
Libra did try however. She fired a couple of bullets in the direction of the heroine, but she kept skating and running out of the way, especially as she started to get even closer. If she did nothing to adjust, then..!
The Cosmos Queen turned her guns towards the General, stacking every bullet behind each other to try and use the momentum to pierce through the web. And indeed, it sounded like she made impact...
Only for Spider to laugh, dropping the barrier of web to reveal her body... And the bullet having pierced straight through her. Harmlessly. Because she turned part of her body into web to prevent it from making impact with her actual self. "Try again, once you've perished! MIMOTO! FINISH HER!"
"ALPHA EDGE!" Mimoto shouted as she leapt off the end of the path, her claws baring as time slowed down. Her speed would ensure that she made contact with the target...
Only for a powerful roar to echo through the skies, causing the entire battlefield to destabilize. Whether it was Libra, Mimoto or Spider, all of them were stunned by the sounds resonating through their bodies.
"W-What's going on!?" Mimoto shouted after landing on the floor, trembling as she tried to stagger back up onto her feet. The roar rushing through her was unlike anything she had ever experienced..!
Spider grit her teeth, the sound was infernally loud! What kind of maniacal animal could roar this loudly, and how the hell was she hearing it!?
Libra fell to her knees, panting as she felt all the strength in her body leaving her at that moment. What was she going to do, now that she was left without any powers..?
At that very moment, when everyone was stunned, a black and white flash dashed onto the battlefield... And it grabbed the Lawkeeper, before disappearing just as quickly as she had appeared, taking the Cosmos Queen with her.
And after that, the sound came to an end. The heroine and the villain were freed from their stunned state, and neither had really won anything from this fight. The Cosmos Queen had escaped, after all.
"Aw man..." Mimoto muttered, still shaking all over as she tried to deal with the sensations running through her body. "And right after we teamed up too, right, Spi-"
Even Spider had disappeared. And she had taken that boy with her too, because she noticed that there were an odd number of victims in the 52 pervert pileup. Today was not a hero's day.
MIkai sighed as her armor disappeared, her body still aching after that sound. Now she had to deal with helping everyone, and she didn't even get a new friend out of this fight. Man, this day had turned sour real quick.
But who was that flash..? And why did that song incapacitate her..?
---
"Haaaaah... I know you saved me and all, but why in the hell are you wearing a maid outfit, Leo..?"
Libra muttered, her body still drained after everything she had done to try and apprehend those crooks. But the sight of the usually bratty and worried Legendary Leo, wearing a dress meant for a maid that was a couple sizes too small for her, was enough to perk her up a bit.
Leo didn't answer, just scratching through the air as a hole back to their base appeared. "Go recover. I have a mission I need to deal with." The Cosmos Queen muttered, her eyes framed in shadow. This was the only way that she could think of that would let her find her Empress...
"...Nah. I'll stay with you." Libra said, grinning as she climbed back onto her feet, dusting herself off in the process as she wrapped her arm around the much shorter girl.
Leo was quick to blush as she was pinned against the toned and tanned gunslinger's body, but she didn't try to resist. Fine. She'd make arrangements to accommodate for her company. But if she ever complained, then she'd send her straight back home. Something that was incredibly likely, considering who served as her current 'employer'.
She'd find her Empress soon enough. And then she'd demand answers for this roundabout method of conquering a simple, stupid world...
