Christine climbed up the ladder and stepped onto the poolside, letting the water flow quickly off her swimsuit and hair. She began making her way to the rinse shower nearby. On the way, Lucas intercepted her. Lucas was their host--the eccentric dilettante who, despite having no apparent profession, was somehow was wealthy enough to own this large house with its own private pool.
"They're checking you out, you know," Lucas murmured conspiratorially to Christine, smiling faintly.
"What? Who?"
Lucas cocked his head to indicate a group of Christine's friends relaxing by the pool, who were doing their best to steal glances and not overtly stare.
Christine blushed. "Um. Geez. Do you think I should get a towel?"
"Do you actually mind?" Lucas goaded her.
"No..." murmured Christine uncomfortably as she looked away from Lucas's grin.
"Walk with me," Lucas gestured, and they walked away from the pool together toward a table with snacks. "You don't mind being looked at at all, or you wouldn't have worn that." Lucas motioned at Christine's purple swimsuit--two-piece and very flattering, if not immodest.
"No! I guess I don't. But... " Christine hesitated. "I feel like I'm not supposed to show off, you know?"
"So you like being looked at," Lucas said understandingly, "but you don't want to be seen as vain."
"Yeah!" Christine agreed, feeling understood.
"And you're not just vain. You're an exhibitionist," Lucas continued, grinning as he met Christine's eyes.
Christine blushed, much harder than before. "I guess? All these people are my friends, though. I can't just, you know. Flash everybody."
"I guess not," Lucas admitted in mock-thoughful tones. "But... say if someone were to kidnap you and expose your body to your friends. Just make you naked in front of them. How would that make you feel?"
Christine squirmed. "That... ooh. But that couldn't happen. There's no 'stripping kidnapper,' people would be furious and they'd arrest them for being a pervert."
"You like the idea, Christine," Lucas pressed. "You're just talking yourself out of it because it seems too fun to be true."
"OK, it's a really good fantasy," Christine whispered to Lucas. Christine nervously looked around. Her friends were still stealing glances at her swimsuited body, but none were close enough to overhear the conversation.
"Stick around after the others have left. I'll show you it's not as farfetched as you think," Lucas said, his voice becoming quiet and mysterious. He ran his hand across Christine's swimsuit strap teasingly. Then he turned away and went back towards the pool, casually chatting with another guest.
----
Afternoon turned into evening, and the other guests left by ones and twos. Compelled by a burning curiosity, Christine stayed. She was painfully aware that she didn't really have an excuse; the friends she had come with had gone, the sky was getting dark. Nobody who had been checking her out had the wherewithal to invite her home; they waved in a lingering way and left. Christine had tried to act nonchalantly, swimming laps in the pool, fetching snacks, introducing herself to guests she didn't recognize. But she was obviously distracted, and became even more so when Lucas caught her eye and gave a knowing smile. "I know why you're still here," his expression seemed to say.
Finally the last guest left. The sky was quite dark, but some bright outdoor lights kept the poolside lit, casting sharp shadows from the furniture. Christine walked over to Lucas, who smirked knowingly. She shivered--with the sun down, it was a little chilly in just her swimsuit. "So--it's just us." Her voice was quiet and tentative, even though nobody else was in sight.
"So it is," he smiled, and paused, letting Christine squirm while her anticipation built.
Finally, breaking through her embarrassment, Christine filled the silence. "What were you talking about before? Kidnapping me? Showing me off? Nobody's here anymore to even show me off to."
Lucas paused. "Christine, imagine some things for me. And tell me if any of it sounds bad."
"OK," Christine agreed.
"All right. Imagine you're standing in front of some guests--both friends and strangers. They're looking at you, casually checking you out. And suddenly, your swimsuit is gone."
"They're looking at me naked. But I didn't take it off, it's just gone," Christine followed. "I'd be embarrassed, but excited, I guess."
"Now imagine you tried to cover yourself, but you couldn't. You couldn't move at all," Lucas continued.
"Like tied up? Or frozen in place?" asked Christine, her voice starting to quiver.
"More like frozen," Lucas replied. "Not bound up, but unable to move even if you wanted to."
"Everyone would be staring at me and I couldn't hide..." Christine murmured.
"You couldn't hide. You'd be stuck there, on display for everyone."
Christine squirmed again. "That sounds... well, hot. But how is this going to happen?" Her voice was a mix between skepticism and desire.
"Follow me, Christine," Lucas ordered. She followed him as he walked to the side of the pool. He produced a small round pendant from his pocket. "Now please stand there, arms at your sides, and look carefully at this."
Christine dropped her arms to her sides as requested, and Lucas brought the pendant up in front of her face. It was gold, and inset with a large green gem--lustrous, like an opal. The green had a dark slit in the middle of it, making it look like a serpent's eye. Small flecks of light seemed to gather and swirl in the gem, and Christine watched with fascination.
Christine heard Lucas's voice, which seemed to be coming from far away. "Can you look away from the pendant, Christine?" the voice called.
Lucas's smooth voice somehow sounded like an irritating distraction as she gazed at the gem. "No," she answered, "why would I?"
Lucas ran his fingers across Christine's back, down across her ass. "Do you think you could stop me from touching you, Christine?" Again his voice sounded far away, easy to ignore.
"No, why would I stop you?" Christine answered.
"Very good, Christine. I think you'll find that the amulet is going to give you exactly what you want."
Christine didn't bother to answer--she just continued to stare at the swirling patterns in the gem. Suddenly there was a bright flash of green light from inside it. The gem seemed dull in the golden pendant now, the hypnotizing movement gone.
"What h..." Christine tried to speak, but found herself unable; no sound came from her mouth.
"Oooooh," Lucas murmured to himself. Christine tried to step back, but found that she couldn't move--she stood exactly in place, as if her muscles were disconnected from her brain. She continued to stare straight ahead, as if she was still looking at the pendant, even as she watched Lucas put it carefully away in a pocket.
"How does this feel, Christine?" Lucas ran his fingers across her face. It felt strange but thrilling. Her skin didn't give at all under his fingertips; it felt hard, impossibly tight. Yet that tightness seemed to increase the sensitivity; inwardly she gasped as the light stroke on her face sent sparks throughout her motionless body.
"You can't talk, of course. Maybe you'd like to see." Lucas took his phone out and set it to selfie mode, and held it in front of Christine's motionless face so that she could see herself. She gasped inwardly when she saw herself: a white marble statue. Somehow she could still see, although the statue's eyes seemed to be solid stone. Her bright purple swimsuit, untransformed, was a garish splash of color against the solid white marble of her flesh.
"Let's get rid of this swimsuit," Lucas said. "I'm afraid this is going to ruin it since I didn't pose you to remove it conveniently. Forgive me," he winked at Christine." He produced a folding knife from his pocket and cut through the fabric of Christine's swimsuit. Even the metal of the knife felt like a blade of pleasure as it scraped across Christine's stone body. Lucas pulled the scraps of the garment away. Christine felt a small chill--the shape of her body completely exposed--even though she realized her body couldn't feel a cold temperature at all.
"There you are," said Lucas to the unmoving statue of Christine, "naked as promised. You're a beautiful poolside decoration. Everyone who comes by will see you, they'll see your nude stone body. And you won't be able to stop them--but you won't have to stop them. You can just enjoy showing yourself off, because you won't have a choice in the matter."
"...And if some of them decide they can't get enough just by looking, and they to feel you too," Lucas continued, stroking Christine's bare stone breast--and she gasped again to herself as the sensation of being so intimately touched--"well, I guess you probably won't mind that either, will you?" He winked at her and left the statue of Christine by the poolside to contemplate its fate...
