The Vault of Obsidia

The air in Obsidia’s Subjugation Vault was frigid, tasting of dry ice and old secrets. I wasn't on a friendly stage or a training dais anymore. I was a specimen. My metallic purple swimsuit shimmered defiantly against the dark, obsidian-tiled floors, and my purple bunny ears felt a little absurd in the face of such gloom—but one must maintain one's brand, shouldn't one?
"The famous Milly," a voice like breaking glass echoed. Obsidia stepped into the light, her black armor absorbing the very glow of the room. "The woman who cannot be held, and who cannot be broken."

"I prefer 'The Unbound,' darling," I chirped, though being suspended by my wrists in an unfamiliar dungeon was hardly a spa day. "And I usually get top billing for this kind of attention."
She didn't laugh. With a flick of her finger, the ceiling groaned. Two sleek, robotic arms descended, but these weren't for calibration. They hummed with a sickly violet energy—Hard-Light shackles. They snapped around my wrists and ankles with a biting force, stretching me out until I was a taut, vibrant 'V' of purple against the darkness. My toes barely brushed the floor.

Then came the centerpiece: The Phasing Blade. It was a jagged, cruel thing, glowing with a white, unstable energy that made the air hiss. Obsidia positioned it right at my midsection. No box. No mirrors. Just the cold calculation of a villainess wanting to see if the rumors were true.

"Let us see how quickly you knit back together when the cut is... absolute," Obsidia murmured.
The blade didn't just slice; it tore through the atomic level. The pain was a jagged, electrical scream that bypassed my voice and went straight to my marrow. I watched, my breath hitching in a silent sob, as my torso began to drift upward, separated from my hips by a shimmering, empty gap of violet energy. It was the "Contest" all over again, but without the safety net of a stagehand.

I felt the agonizing pull of being two separate entities, my nerves screaming for their lost halves across the void. But then, the Unbinding power surged—that warm, golden, honey-like sensation I’d come to crave. It rushed to the raw edges of the divide. The pain didn't stop, but it transformed. It became a deep, thrumming heat that felt like a secret between my soul and the universe.

Obsidia stepped closer, her cold fingers trailing through the empty space where my waist used to be. "A masterpiece of ruin," she whispered, her eyes wide with a dark, clinical fascination.
I looked down at her, my vision swimming with gold and violet. My muscles were twitching, the golden light already stitching my skin back together even as the blade flickered. The sensation of the cells reuniting—the friction of becoming whole—was an exquisite torture. It felt like a thousand tiny needles of pure, concentrated life.

"Ready... for more?" I managed to gasp, a defiant, shaky grin touching my lips.
"I have all night, my little rabbit," Obsidia replied, her hand hovering near the shackle controls. "Let's see how many times you can survive being undone."

The "Unbinding" ritual really is a girl's best friend in a situation like this, don't you think? It turns a total disaster into a rather intense... sensory experience.

Tell me, if you were watching from the shadows of Obsidia's vault, would you be cheering for my escape, or were you waiting to see just how many pieces she could break me into before the gold light took over?
