As Hanavari related back about her sparring session with @thebarwell

"The air in the training room had grown thick and heavy, the smell of old canvas and stale sweat replaced by the sharp, electric scent of ozone and rising heat.

"Again," I commanded, my voice a low, breathless rasp.

We were locked up in the center of the ring. Barwell was a wall of muscle, sweat glistening on his skin above the beard that scratched against my shoulder. He had me in a waist lock, his massive forearms bracketing my ribs like iron bands. In a normal match, he would be preparing to throw me.

But this wasn't a normal match.

"You're still thinking like a brawler, Barwell," I whispered, leaning back into him, letting my head rest against his chest. I could feel the thundering of his heart through the back of my wrestling singlet.

"You're trying to overpower me. I don't want you to break me. I want you to own the space I occupy."

I reached back, my hands sliding over his triceps, feeling the tension in the corded muscle. My fingers, manicured and dangerous, dug in.

"Don't push," I purred, the violet light flaring at the roots of my blonde hair. "Absorb. Feel the resistance in my hips? That’s energy. That’s capital. Take it."

He growled, a low, vibrating rumble that I felt in my very core. He shifted his stance, widening his base. Instead of squeezing to crush, he settled.

He pulled me tighter against him, eliminating the daylight between our bodies until we were a single, fused entity of sweat and tension.

The change was immediate. It wasn't just a hold anymore; it was an embrace of absolute, suffocating control.

"Better," I gasped, the air leaving my lungs not from force, but from the sheer, magnetic pull of his presence.

I closed my eyes, activating my Financial Sorcery. I audited his aura. It had shifted from a jagged, red spike of aggression to a deep, heavy, gravitational pull. He was becoming the black hole I needed him to be.

"Now," I murmured, tilting my head back so I was looking up at him, our faces inches apart. The heat radiating off him was intoxicating. "I'm going to struggle. I'm going to try to liquidate this asset. You are going to freeze the account."

I snapped my hips, trying to break the seal.

He didn't jerk or slam.

He simply... expanded. His grip became absolute. He buried his face in the crook of my neck, his hot breath ghosting over my skin, sending a shiver of pure, electric delight down my spine.

The friction of his beard, the crushing weight of his arms, the sheer, immovable mass of him—it was overwhelming.

And it was working.

I felt the energy drain out of me—my fight, my movement, my very will to escape—siphoned directly into him.

He was drinking it in, his muscles swelling with the stolen power. It was a feedback loop of dominance and submission, played out in sweat and muscle.

My knees buckled, just a fraction. A soft, unbidden sound escaped my throat—half frustration, half ecstasy.

"Yes," I hissed, my hands finding purchase in his hair, pulling him closer even as he trapped me.

"That’s it. Drain the account. Leave nothing."

The air around us crackled. Violet sparks danced across his skin where I touched him. He was glowing now, a faint, dark purple aura bleeding into his edges. He had become the battery.

He held me there for a long count, suspended in that high-tension state where pain and pleasure blur into a single, blinding white noise. I was helpless, and I was powerful, because he was my weapon.

Then, with a grunt of exertion, he released the tension—not letting go, but transferring it. He spun me out, his massive hand guiding me, and I launched off his frame with explosive, supernatural speed, fueled by the very energy he had just harvested from my struggle.

I hit the ropes and rebounded, feeling lighter than air, practically vibrating with power. I came to a stop in the center of the ring, chest heaving, skin flushed, eyes blazing violet.

Barwell stood opposite me, panting, his eyes wide, looking at his own hands as if he’d never seen them before. The air between us was still charged, a tangible thread of heat connecting us.

I walked up to him, swaying slightly, and placed a hand on his damp chest.

" That," I whispered, looking up into his eyes with a predatory, satisfied grin, "is a hostile takeover."

I tapped his chest twice.

"We are going to be very, very rich." I purred in his ear"
