"As the horrifying realization dawned on her, a large screen on the cabin wall flickered to life. The smiling, charming face of Principe Rocco Visconti filled the display. He was not in his usual bespoke suit, but in a dark, ceremonial robe of deep purple silk, embroidered with silver sigils that seemed to writhe in the flickering torchlight of the stone chamber behind him.

"Such a disappointment, Tinbunny," he said, his voice a low, chilling purr, utterly devoid of its usual charm. "Did you really think I was so... mundane?"

Tinbunny stared at the screen, her blood turning to ice.

"How?" she breathed, the word a fragile wisp of sound in the silent cabin.

Rocco's smile widened, a slow, cruel curve of his lips. "You are an excellent operative. But you have a blind spot. A fatal flaw. You rely on your... gifts. And you wear your heart on your sleeve. Or, in this case," he paused, his eyes glinting with a cold, triumphant light, "on your head."

The henchman holding her ankles released his grip. He stood up, his movements stiff, unnatural, a puppet on unseen strings. His eyes, previously a dull, thuggish brown, now glowed with a faint, spectral light.

A thin, grey mist, cold and ethereal, began to seep from the black beanie hat still on Tinbunny's head, coiling in the air like a dying breath before flowing into the henchman's open mouth.

Thank you again @HenchwomanTinbunny for asking me for a story.
