Act I: The Offering

(Music: "Uninvited" - Quiet Piano Intro, Eerie Strings)

The stage is dark, set with a single, polished obsidian slab that seems to drink the limited light. The audience, still settling, murmurs, their programs rustling. They are here for a magic show, their expectations set by convention: spectacle, illusion, a pleasant diversion.

The Great Hanavari emerges from the shadow. She is a powerful, silent figure, drawing the eye instantly. Her vivid purple ponytail is a slash of color against the gloom. She wears her one-piece black leotard with intricate blue detailing, black fishnet stockings, and high heels. Her expression is one of intense concentration. The audience quiets, sensing her gravity. She is not here to entertain; she is here to perform a ritual.

Milly enters from the opposite side of the stage. She is barefoot, wearing a sleeveless plum-colored leotard, along with a black leather collar and matching black leather cuffs on her wrists and ankles. Her expression is one of serene, willing submission. She is the vessel. She walks to the slab and lies down, an offering.

The audience leans in, intrigued by the S&M-adjacent aesthetic. It's edgy, theatrical.

Hanavari's hands, now glowing with a faint, electric violet light, begin to move, tracing intricate patterns in the air above Milly. The audience watches, admiring the lighting effect. Then, the first sensory cue hits them. A faint, sharp scent of ozone, like the air just before a lightning strike, drifts over the first few rows. A few people feel the hair on their arms lift, a prickle of static. Their curiosity deepens.

On a large screen behind them, the first lyric appears:

LYRIC: "Must be strange to not have had ill intentions..."
