As Claude predicted, the glamour is a loop of blissful, kitschy entertainment. Hanavari, Barwell, Tinbunny and Amethyst are stuck from the glamour weaving it's magic, their unique magic co-opted into constantly perfecting the flawless, unending show.
The climax is pure performance art. While Alistair (offscreen) creates a subtle perimeter to contain the magic, Claude makes a grand entrance, striding onto the surreal stage with a golden microphone of his own. He joins Barwell, launching into a disco duet of such dazzling charisma and complexity that the entire glamour shudders. The performance is so spectacular, so demanding, that Hanavari's co-opted magic must divert all its power simply to keep the illusion from collapsing under the weight of this new star.
While Claude and Barwell are completely focused on managing the duet of a lifetime, Alistair makes his move. It is not a brutal exorcism, but a precise, surgical strike. He uses his terrifying, crimson-laced control to slip past the glamour's overwhelmed defenses and cleanly sever the parasitic link between Hanavari’s mind and the gluttonous flower, silencing the music for good.
Once all the pollen was vacuumed by Claudette, the glamour had no more effect, they headed back, saying they'll just put it down to Nightshade.
