Lunchtime according to Mia: Mia, @AnntheAssistant, Clara, Chloe and Isabelle, the typing pool submissives.
"Ann and I sat at our desks, unsure of the protocol. Were we supposed to work through lunch? A voice cut through our uncertainty.
"You two survived the morning with Marcus. Not bad for temps."
We looked up. A woman was leaning against my desk, a warm, knowing smile on her face. She was tall and beautifully plus-sized, her curves poured into a vintage-style wiggle dress that her unbuttoned blouse and pencil skirt couldn't quite emulate. A cascade of fiery red curls was piled loosely on top of her head.
"Come on," she said, gesturing with her head. "You can sit with us. The gossip is better over here."
She led us to a small, circular table in a break area near the coffee machine, where two other women were already seated. The illusion of the corporate scene was dropped instantly. This was the subs' locker room.
"Mia, Ann, this is Chloe and Isabelle," the redhead said, introducing us. "I'm Clara."
The two women were a study in contrasts. Chloe was petite and wiry, with the toned, athletic build of a gymnast. Her platinum blonde hair was cut into a short, rebellious pixie style, and her eyes danced with a boundless, almost manic energy. She looked like a firecracker, ready to go off. Isabelle was her opposite: tall, willowy, and ethereally calm. Her long, jet-black hair fell in a silken sheet to her waist, and her movements were slow and deliberate. She had a quiet, intense stillness about her.
"So, Marcus got you with the spoon, huh?" Clara began, her tone a mix of commiseration and amusement as she unwrapped a sandwich. "Classic. He loves that thing. Thinks it's 'domestic'. Wait until he brings out the paddle with the 'Employee of the Month' engraving."
Chloe giggled, a bright, bubbly sound. "Oh, Marcus is fun, but have you had a session with Victor and his wands? He's like a surgeon! So precise! I had a two-hour scene last week where he just worked on my feet with the violet wand. I couldn't walk for a day. It was amazing." Her genuine, giddy enthusiasm for the pain was both terrifying and infectious.
"You think that's precise?" Isabelle spoke for the first time, her voice a low, hypnotic murmur. "You should try a session with Alexander. He doesn't even use a tool. He just talks to you until you forget your own name." She looked at us, her dark eyes seeming to see right through us. "He... recalibrates you.""
