Victor paced the perimeter, his dark gaze sweeping over the scene. The subtle flicker of faint, chaotic magic clung to them like a sticky residue. It was a chaotic, sickeningly sweet, and aggressively persistent enchantment.

He brought his focus back to Hanavari. She possessed a terrifying, emergent magic rooted in submission and creation. If anyone could contain this mental virus, it should be her.

"Hanavari," Victor commanded, his voice sharp enough to cut glass. "Identify the source of this grotesque transmutation. Use your forensic sorcery and isolate the point of infection."

Hanavari sat up slowly, her expression melting into a dreamy, vacant smile. "Oh, Hanavari doesn't know big words, Mister Grumpy," she pouted, pushing herself up with a hand that now bore a comically oversized plastic ring. "Hanavari is just thinking about how much she wants a pink pony. And maybe a matching pink saddle."

"Your mind is a financial ledger!" Victor thundered.

"Find the fraudulent transaction! The intellectual theft!"

"But there's nothing here," Milly chirped, sitting up and clapping her hands together. "It's, like, totally empty! Just clean thoughts about shopping and cute clothes and how much Hanavari loves Milly's new leggings!"

Tinbunny looked up, her expression a rare mixture of confusion and vacuousness. "Bunny thinks it came from a shiny pink box that went poof," she murmured, holding out her sparkly beanie. "Bunny thinks it was a very nice spell because it makes everything sparkly and happy!"
