The walk across the street was a surreal, shivering transit between worlds. One moment they were the center of a grimy pub's impossible magic show; the next, just two half-naked, jelly-smeared blonde women under the buzzing orange glow of a streetlight. The cold was a brutal shock, but Hannah’s hand on the small of Ann’s back was a furnace, a point of searing focus.
Ann’s hands trembled as she fumbled with the hotel keycard. Hannah’s hand covered hers, steady and firm, and slid the card home. The door clicked open into the sterile anonymity of a cheap room. Hannah shut the door, the deadbolt sliding home with a heavy, final sound that sealed them in.
“Shower,” Hannah’s voice was low, stripped of the theatrical ‘Hanavari’ boom, but charged with an even more potent authority.
In the small, harshly lit bathroom, Ann turned on the sputtering water and was about to step in when Hannah stopped her.
“No. You’ll wash me.”
Ann froze, her mind catching up to the command. She nodded, a single, jerky motion. Hannah stepped into the small tub, pulling the thin plastic curtain closed and turning to face her. Ann followed, her movements hesitant. The space was incredibly intimate, their bodies slick with water, pressed close. Ann took the small, leaf-shaped bar of hotel soap.
As Ann’s tentative hands began to work the soap into a lather on her shoulders, Hannah’s mind reeled. What the hell am I doing? This is insane. I just met this woman. I pulled… I pulled things out of her in a pub. The sheer strangeness of it threatened to overwhelm her. But then, another thought, sharp and bitter, cut through the confusion. An image of Milly, laughing on that film set in Spain, her arm slung casually around the lead actor. If Milly can have her fun, her ‘artistic explorations’ with half the cast, then why can’t I have this?
The thought solidified into a hard, defiant justification. This wasn’t just a sordid, impulsive encounter. This was research. This was… discovery.
“Harder,” Hannah commanded, her voice a low rumble. Ann’s hands became firmer, scrubbing away the grime. “You were incredible back there. I’ve never felt anything like it. I’ve drawn power from crowds, from performances… but never from someone. Not like that.”
Ann said nothing, her focus entirely on the task, on the feel of Hannah’s skin beneath her hands.
Hannah guided Ann’s soapy hand down her own stomach. “The lights… and then the baubles…” she murmured, her voice hypnotic. “I thought they would come from different places. One from the mind, one from the heart. But they didn’t, did they?”
She took Ann’s hand, the one not holding the soap, and guided it down, between her own legs, until Ann’s knuckles brushed against her. “They both came from the same place. Your source. All that light, all that perfect, solid creation… hidden in the same soft, dark, secret part of you.”
The thought sent a shiver of pure, scientific curiosity through Hannah, eclipsing everything else. What other impossible things were coiled up inside this unassuming woman, just waiting for the right command to be brought into the world?
Ann’s hands trembled as she finished washing Hannah’s body, the act transforming from a simple cleaning into a reverent, intimate exploration. When she was done, the soap rinsed away, Hannah stood still for a moment, water dripping from their bodies. The air was thick with steam and unspoken potential.
She had been vulnerable, allowing Ann to touch her, to serve her. Now it was time to reclaim control.
“Good,” Hannah said, her voice dropping back into the register of pure command. She stepped out of the tub, grabbing one of the thin, rough towels. “Now it’s your turn.”
She gestured for Ann to get out. As Ann stepped onto the cold linoleum, Hannah was already waiting. She didn’t hand Ann a towel.
“Turn around,” she ordered, her voice leaving no room for negotiation. “Hands on the wall. I want to see if the source is clean.”
Ann turned, her movements stiff with a mixture of apprehension and an intoxicating, consuming anticipation. She placed her palms flat against the cold, tiled wall of the shower, the cheap plastic curtain sticking to her hip. The water sputtered, lukewarm and weak, but the air in the small bathroom was already thick and heavy, charged with a strange, electric potential.
Hannah took the soap, but her approach was nothing like Ann’s had been. There was no tentative grace, no gentle service. This was an inspection. An invasion. Her hands, slick with soap, landed on Ann’s shoulders not with the intent to clean, but to claim.
Her fingers dug in, kneading the tense muscles, then slid down Ann’s back, pressing hard, mapping every vertebra, every rib. It was a grope, a brazen, unapologetic exploration of Ann’s body as a territory, a resource. Her hands slid around Ann’s waist, thumbs pressing into her hipbones before sliding down over the curve of her buttocks, squeezing possessively.
It was in that moment that Ann felt it first—a deep, resonant hum that started in the parts of her Hannah was touching. It wasn't just a physical sensation; it was an energy, a current that seemed to flow from Hannah’s hands, through her own body, and then back into Hannah again. A closed circuit.
Hannah felt it too, a heady rush far more potent than the crowd’s raw energy. This was refined, pure, and it was awakening something inside her. As her hands continued their slow, insolent exploration, she saw her reflection in the small, steamy mirror over the sink. Streaks of electric, impossible violet were bleeding into her blonde hair, starting at the roots and creeping outwards. Hanavari was coming through.
The energy became visible, a faint, crackling blue-white corona around Hannah’s hands and forearms. Ann gasped as she felt the tangible result, a pins-and-needles sensation that was both terrifying and exquisitely pleasurable, raising goosebumps all over her wet skin. She could feel the power building, a pressure in her core that was achingly familiar, reminiscent of the moments before the baubles had been pulled from her.
“There it is,” Hanavari whispered, her voice a low, gravelly rasp that was no longer Hannah’s. Her hands slid from Ann’s hips, moving with reverent slowness to their final destination. She knelt slightly behind Ann, her fingers tracing the path between her legs. “The source. All that potential. All that raw, beautiful magic.”
Her touch was no longer just exploring; it was stoking a fire. Her fingers, crackling with visible energy, delved into the folds of Ann’s body, seeking the wellspring of the lights and baubles. Ann cried out, a sharp, helpless sound as the energy inside her surged to meet Hanavari’s touch. The current between them became a torrent. Hanavari’s hair was now more purple than blonde, the violet streaks glowing faintly in the dim bathroom light.
The air itself felt thick, vibrating with their shared power. Ann’s legs trembled violently, her knuckles white where she gripped the wall for support. She was being cleaned, yes, but she was also being tuned, primed, and charged. The magician was re-establishing her connection to the source, and Ann, the source, had never felt so terrifyingly, wonderfully alive.
The bathroom was a crucible, the air thick with steam and crackling energy. Ann, pressed against the cold tiles, was a conduit, a living gateway. Hanavari’s hair was a storm of violet, her eyes glowing with a raptor’s intensity. The energy flowing between them was no longer a gentle current; it was a torrent, a raw, creative force waiting for a command.
Hanavari’s hands, wreathed in a faint blue-white corona, cupped Ann’s labia. She wasn't washing anymore. She was preparing the source.
“A wellspring this powerful cannot be left untamed,” Hanavari’s voice was a low, guttural rasp, the words resonating deep in Ann’s bones. “It must be bound. Contained. The source must belong completely to the one who draws from it.”
Ann could only moan in response, her mind dissolving in the raw, magical stimulus. She felt a new pressure building within her, different from the baubles. This was sharper, colder, with hard, defined edges. It was the feeling of solid, complex machinery being forged in the softest, most intimate part of her.
“First,” Hanavari commanded, her voice dropping to a whisper, “the means of control.”
Her fingers delved, and Ann cried out, a sharp, ecstatic sound. The pressure became an object, and Hanavari pulled. What emerged from between Ann’s slick folds was not light or fragile glass. It was cold, heavy, and brutally real. A single, polished steel handcuff, linked by a short chain to its twin, which followed a moment later. They were impossibly cool against Ann’s heated skin, clicking softly as Hanavari laid them on the edge of the sink.
Ann’s legs were shaking so violently she could barely stand. Her body had just produced solid, forged metal.
“Second,” Hanavari continued, her focus absolute, “the points of focus. To remind the source of its purpose.”
The pressure returned, smaller this time, sharper. Two distinct points of cold, intense creation. Hanavari’s fingers worked again, and this time she drew out a pair of nipple clamps, their tiny alligator teeth glinting in the harsh bathroom light, connected by a delicate silver chain. They clinked as they were placed next to the cuffs.
Ann was sobbing now, overwhelmed, tears mingling with the water on her face. Every cell in her body was screaming with a pleasure so intense it was indistinguishable from pain. She was being unmade, her body a factory for the instruments of her own submission.
“And finally,” Hanavari’s voice was soft, almost reverent, as she reached for the source one last time. The pressure was different again, softer, more yielding. “A way to ensure the source’s worship is silent, and absolute.”
She pulled forth a perfect, cherry-red silicone ball gag, the black leather straps soft and supple. It made no sound as she placed it with the other items on the sink’s edge, a small, obscene collection of magically manifested tools
.
Hanavari rinsed her hands, the visible energy around them slowly receding, though the violet in her hair remained. She turned off the water, and the sudden silence was deafening, broken only by Ann’s ragged, broken breaths.
She picked up the handcuffs. The click of the metal was the loudest sound Ann had ever heard.
“The tools are made,” Hanavari said, her voice dropping back towards Hannah’s, but forever changed, laced with a new, dark authority. “Now, the artist must use them.”
The final item, the cherry-red gag, was placed on the sink's edge, completing the impossible collection. The energy in the bathroom, which had reached a fever pitch, suddenly subsided. The violet in Hanavari’s hair softened, receding back into Hannah’s natural blonde, leaving only faint, ghost-like streaks. The oppressive, magical pressure in the air vanished, leaving only the mundane reality of steam, dripping water, and the two women's ragged breaths.
Hannah took a half-step back, her eyes wide as she stared at the tools laid out on the cheap formica countertop. They were undeniably real. The flogger's suede falls were soft, the handcuffs were cold and heavy, the collar's leather smelled rich and earthy.
Oh god. What am I doing? What have I done? The thoughts crashed into Hannah’s mind with the force of a physical blow. These are real. I didn’t just summon them from the air. I pulled them… out of her. How? How am I even doing this? Felix and Alistair’s lessons on magic had been about crowd energy, about subtle nudges of coincidence. They had never mentioned anything like this, this intimate, terrifying act of creation. A spike of pure fear shot through her. Am I hurting her? Is this some kind of violation I can't even comprehend?
But another voice, a harder, more cynical one, pushed back. Milly doesn't ask permission on her film sets. She just takes what she wants for her ‘art’. And what is this, if not art? The fear began to curdle into a thrilling, intoxicating curiosity. If she can make these... these specific, complex, perfect things... just because I wanted them... what else? What are the limits? Can she make anything I can imagine? The thought was terrifying and more liberating than any magic she had ever known.
Ann, meanwhile, was slowly coming back to herself. The violent trembling subsided into a deep, bone-weary exhaustion. She slid down the tiled wall slightly, her legs weak, her eyes fixed on the collection of items she had just produced. Her body felt empty, scoured out, but also thrumming with a strange, residual power.
The Hanavari persona, fed by Hannah’s dark curiosity, began to reassert itself. The violet streaks in her hair pulsed, glowing a little brighter. She closed the distance between them, crowding Ann against the wall, her body radiating a palpable heat and a renewed sense of purpose. She didn’t touch her. She didn’t have to.
She leaned in, her lips brushing against the shell of Ann’s ear, and her voice was a low, seductive purr.
“Just breathe… that’s it. So much… from such a small, perfect source.”
She let Ann settle for a moment, letting the reality of what had just happened sink into both of them.
“It makes me wonder…” Hanavari continued, the words a soft, thrilling vibration against Ann’s skin, full of dark promise. “…what other little treasures are hiding in there, just waiting for me to ask for them.”
A full-body shiver wracked Ann’s frame. It was not a shiver of fear, but one of profound, soul-deep anticipation. She had no answer. She only knew that she desperately wanted to find out.
