Blue, purple, and silver stripes--Cosmo Corps colors. They look amazing! What? Your toenails? Oh my gosh! The match your fingernails perfectly. Wow. No wonder you're not wearing shoes. Of course you want to show them off. I would.

Cool living room. And nice TV. Where should I sit? On the couch it is. Oh yeah, we're just in time. Here's a drink and some popcorn, and here we go...

Ah, it's just the recap. Right, right, we saw when Korsica was captured and brainwashed by Dr. Diablus. Then she was caught in the act of sabotaging the Corps and given to Dr. Juliana Wackerdootz for deprogramming. But that turned out to be a ruse because Wackerdootz was really reprogramming Korsica to serve another villain, Lady Eve Ville. That brings us to last week, where Lady Ville ordered Korsica and Wackerdootz to kidnap the other brainwashed corpswomen serving Diablus. They managed to do just that, but when they returned to their mistress, Lady Ville noticed that her thralls seem to exhibit just a bit too much free will. So she set up a reprogramming chamber for all of her slaves. She placed them all in it and powered it up just as the episode ended.

That was a lot of recap in 45 seconds. Now, we can finally start with the new stuff. 

The scene opens focused on Korsica's face. Her eyes are wide and stare blankly ahead. Colorful spirals reflect in them. Now the camera pulls back slowly to reveal Wackerdootz on one side of her and a corpswoman on the other. Both those women have the same empty stare and reflected spirals in their eyes. As the camera continues to pull back, we see that Korsica and Wackerdootz are in their full uniforms, except for being barefoot. Their feet are propped up so that their soles face the viewer. The other corpswomen--we see all six of them as the camera completes its zoom out--wear only their longjanes and also have their bare soles exposed.

Kind of like you, huh? You've got your feet up, facing the screen. I hope Lady Ville isn't controlling your mind, hahaha. Sorry, sorry, I'll be quiet and listen.

"I obey Lady Eve Ville. She is my mistress. I am her slave. I serve and obey her, and I always will," Korsica says in a droning, monotone voice.

Wackerdootz says the same thing in the same tone. So do the other corpswomen. They repeat it over and over. Not good, not good. Their brains are being thoroughly washed. Korsica has to find a way to break free. I mean, she always wins, right? But I just don't see a way out for her. Not this time.

The camera has moved off of the brainwashees and is now following the brainwasher. Lady Ville walks over to stand in front of the corpswomen. And now she's...addressing the audience directly. What?

"To all of our female viewers," Lady Ville says, "Please sit back, relax, watch, and listen."

Now the camera is panning around to a large screen. It covers the entirety of the picture. A big, colorful spiral is swirling on it. It's the one that was reflecting in Korsica and the other women's eyes. This is...different. I don't really get what they're going for. I mean, breaking the fourth wall? They've never done that before.

Are you buying this? Because, they've kind of lost me. I mean, this is shark jumping territory, you know? Hey. Hey! Huh. You are buying it. You're...really into it. Well, you're as big a fan as I am, and you said you love this episode. So maybe I should give it a chance, too. Yeah, I owe it that much.

All right, I'm sitting back. I'm relaxed. I'm watching the spiral. And I'm listening. Nothing's happening, of course. But I'll keep doing it for a while. Watching. Listening. They just keep saying, "I obey Lady Eve Ville. She is my mistress. I am her slave. I serve and obey her, and I always will." Fine. Watching. Listening. Watching. Listening...

Hm? Oh, look! Korsica is somehow resisting the hypnosis. She's breaking out of the chamber and making her escape. But, she can't get Wackerdootz or her compatriots out. Well, at least she got away. Now the question is, can she rally the rest of the Corps and mount a rescue attempt? Well, we won't know until next week, will we?

You know, I'd love to hang out for a while, but I feel like...there are some important things I should get done. So, next week at my house? Cool. We should see if any of the other girls want to watch with us. We could do a catch-up marathon beforehand, ending with tonight's episode. Yeah!

Oh, and maybe you could come over early and do my nails? Then we can both display our toes in support of Korsica and the Cosmo Corps!
