"Heeello there everyone! Following up our last fabulous act from ANM48 comes a new duo, Winged Horns!"

"(Oh dear, I appreciate their enthusiasm. But Tio-San's naming sense for their idol group IS a tad off...)"

I, Mero, was keeping an eye on one of the events at the latest Interspecies Expo. How DID this come to be, you may ask?

Oh, if you wish to hear an explanation then feel free to listen in with your fins! Although, I suppose it IS presumptuous to believe YOU personally have them...

"Thank you two ladies for joining me for this blessed tea party I've helped to arrange, and on your day's off too!"

"That's right! Mary's a very nice person, and gets me fancy food like this all the time!"

"Now, now, Papi-San; while we ARE fortunate enough to enjoy our company together in splendor, it's only a bit rude to say how much this cost me."

Our tail, er, tale began on a casual Sunday afternoon; I had brought them to a local cafe as per Tio's request to try out all the latest cute and tasty treats on store display. Yes, all meant ALL in this case...I hope that Mother isn't watching me spend all of my money on simple commoner food...

"Don't make me TOO jealous now, Mero-Chan! Or else I'll have to hug you to death, ahahaha!"

"But for real; food's nice and all, yet somehow I get the feeling that you brought us here for more than just a snack tour..."

"WOOOOAAAHHH!!! LOOK WHO’S ON THE COVER! IT SAYS HERE THAT ANM48 IS GOING TO SHOW UP? SQUEEEEEE!"

"Awfully excited, aren't we? Well, as it turns out my mother is helping to fund the event meaning that I got free admission to the Expo!"

"It's true! However, the real reason I invited the both of you to today's excursion is to see if you were interested in signing up as idol's for one of the events."

"YOU BET I'D LOVE TO VOLUNTEER! I've always wanted to be a cute idol ever since I was a little girl after all!"

"Ah, Tio-San! If you get any more invigorated I fear for the safety of our patrons!"

The table we were sitting at came close to losing a few valuable plates, and some of our pastries even flipped over!

"Awww, that's true. I can't exactly jump around and move to the beat without crashing through the stage..."

"And Papi's doesn't have...a super dazzling body...to make people go crazy with..."

Tio and Papi were starting to become glum over their weakening prospects...time to cheer them up!

"Now that's just not true! You both are VERY captivating in your own right, and no one can tell you otherwise!"

"Hmm...oh! I've got it! Why not ask Lala if we can borrow her scythe? It DOES have 'reality altering properties' or so she claims, and maybe the two of you can switch bodies to see if that helps at all."

"You'll be fine! You have my word that Lala's scythe is a trusted and certifiably secure weapon!"

"Yeah, come on Tina! Papi's always wanted to be tall and strong like you, and you've always wanted to be small and fluffy like me, right?"

"Welllll...not particularly...okay maybe a little bit. Fine! I'll gather the courage needed to swap heads with you for the sake of becoming an idol!"

And so after a gratuitous and hearty meal (seriously Mother, please don't be cross!) the three of us parted ways for a moment...

"Wowzers! Papi's never been so big before! ...she's never had such huge boobies before either, ehehehe..."

"Hey! Don't say that my body's heavy! Not that it matters now, your body's so light and breezy! I haven't felt so tiny ever since I was a toddler!"

"AHEM. Back to business, you're saying that you were Papi-San's height when you were merely in preschool, Tio-San?"

"Wait a minute, you said that Leela's slashy weapon had 'quality-hopping sloperties', right? How do we know that you didn't look like me as a kid?"

"AAAAHHHH! That's too weird to think about! If I looked this small even as a kid I hope my parents didn't think I was too malnouri...malnour...mal...hungry!"

I had to admit, from an otsider’s perspective seeing Papi-San's upbeat face on Tio-San's imposingly gigantic figure...or Tio-San's head on Papi-San's diminutive form...it was awfully strange...or perhaps it wasn't?

"Hmph, oh well! Now that I have Tio's body, there better be some fashionable clothes to fit me!"

"That should be no pro! Mary's rich, she could always make you a new dress or two to fit both you with Tina's body and me with Parpy's body!"

"...of course, I AM able to do that theoretically, aren't I? Ahahaha...(Mother's definitely going to give me the stink-eye if she finds out about this!)"

And that's how we got to this point. After a meaningful video montage I had them watch on loop for the past few days, they had gotten good enough to perform live in front of the audience! Luckily for them, it turned out well enough to hear plenty of applause and shouting in a great manner!

"Hooray! Thank you so much for having us! Papi-Chan here's always been so tall that she was afraid of messing things up and being clumsy...so to see that you all enjoyed seeing us on stage really means a lot to her!"

"And Tio's not really the prettiest girl...sure she can fly, but that doesn't help with singing and dancing. Still, Tio thinks that she did a great job!"

I too was very proud of all they had accomplished as they departed the stage at last...yet wasn't there something very important I needed to say to them afterwards? Hmm...nope! Everything is as normal as can be!

That's all for now! This one comes from the Monster Musume Light Novel, which will hopefully come out sometime this year in paperback, I'd love to snag it for my collection of OKAYADO works! The only thing I don't have is the paper craft book, but I'm no good at artsy stuff, hence why I simply edit pictures together...anyways! Wanted to get this out before Deltarune chapter two releases tomorrow, I'll definitely be playing that all night! Until then, have yourself a good one wherever it is that you're at!
