"Okay you two, smile for the camera please!"
"Sure thing~"
"You got it!"
The two of them were finishing up posing for a photo shoot at the park and were hugging each other, smiling from ear to ear. It was another average day for the monster-ish duo of course, and afterwards...
"Wow Miia, your blue feathers look really warm and soft! Wish I could snuggle my face inside of them..." The rowdy and rambunctious female closed her eyes, pondering the sleep she could obtain.
"Yeah right, Peppy! What if you start munching on Miia's bones? You could crush Miia easily with those scales of yours!" The yellow-eyed siren jumped back in shock.
'"Don't worry yourself so much; I'm only interested in eating eggs anyways~" Papi noted with a sigh of contention.
"WHAT?!? But Miia lays eggs in a very embarrassing way…" Miia brought her wing nubs together and was looking downwards, flushed beyond belief.
"Couldn't be any worse than shedding my skin every now and then..." As Papi said that, the summer heat was glistening off her shiny and sleek seven meter long body.
It seems as though the two opposing yet similar species had their own gripes to deal with...
"Speaking of skin, you were squishing your boobs up against Miia's during that hug, you know...are you trying to prove something to Miia?" The narrow eyed bird stared in an irked manner.
"I can't exactly help that I'm so sexy~" The wide-eyed snake then lifted her arms up underneath her ample cleavage, smugly showboating her motor boaters.
"Grrgghhh...MIIA'S SOOOO JEALOUS NOW!"
*SMACK!!!*
*YOWCH!!!*
"What was THAT for, huh? Is the tiny blue bird feeling sad about her itty bitties?"
"Says you with your blue hair! Wait...Miia's feathers are blue, and your hair is blue too. Also, Miia's hair is red while your snaky bits are red as well...what could that mean?"
"Don't just ignore the fact that you slapped another woman's tits that aren't even your own!"
And so, a near-reality shattering revelation about their universe was averted if only for the time being. Oh well, so long as no one else was any the wiser it didn't really NEED to be pointed out, right? Discriminating other species for their looks was an easy way to get shunned by modern society in the first place, so most folks weren't about to risk getting fined at the least (and jailed at the worst!) for an aesthetically clashing couple of monster girls...
"Kya ha ha! You'll have to catch Miia the Harpy if you want to get your revenge!"
"I'll slither my way over to you, if my name isn't Papi the Lamia!"
*WHOOSH!!*
The snake-faced bird and the bird-faced snake had quarrels like this often, and as such this was everyday life with interspecies exchange liminals. And yet these creatures didn't know that said title was MUCH more literal than they could imagine...
