Tall I stood. I had no fear.
I was battle ready.
My eyes were sharp. My head was clear.
Hands strong and steady.

I had rebuilt my broken walls.
Higher than before.
To insure none breached the halls
I triple barred the door.

I touched the scars of the old campaign
And wounds yet to heal.
I gouged those wounds to my fire pain
My fortitude to steel.

It was not sword or battle axe
That dealt the crushing blow.
What she used when she attacked?
She softly said 'hello'.
