Shannon was a CEO of a large company, and she was always on the cutting edge of technology. She was a huge tech-fetishist, and she was always jumping on the latest tech trends. However, her position as CEO was threatened when a new AI chatbot was released that outperformed any CEO alive. At first, Shannon was hesitant to embrace the AI chatbot technology. She didn't want to implement it in her company at first, because that would result in her losing her prestigious job. However, she also knew that she couldn't ignore the potential of this new innovation and she didn't want to be a hypocrite embracing every new innovation until it started affecting her.

After much consideration, Shannon came up with a daring plan. She would replace her own head with a small computer disc that would be wirelessly connected to the AI chatbot. Her original mind would be preserved and stored in her original head, while the AI chatbot would control her body, making decisions and acting on her behalf. Her excuse was that without her as the official person in charge, employees would lose respect in the company. Her body walking around was crucial in this, as it would signify her presence.

Her disc head replacement was equipped with holographic projection of her head that was able to convey all the emotions she would need. She had there small but high quality camera that can be found in the best smartphones out there. Same thing with microphone and speakers. Her processing hardwere was fairly weak Neural Network specialized chips, specialized mostly to keep her bodily functions working. This is because her actual intelligence was not stored in her herself, but was running on far away cloud computer and just sending signals trough internet wirelessly.

Her original head was kept basically frozen in special substrate. She at the moment is completely unconscious, being in state akin to coma. The head is hidden underneath her cabinet in a safe. The reason she even keeps her head still is because after she retires, she will reattach her head and have ditch her AI collar, after all she wants to reap the fruits of her risky decision.
