I know, it’s been a while. This one’s based not only on the Fave “Woman NBM Split in half 019” but also on a video link: https://youtu.be/-qTp7HUk3Mo?si=XXO7RfhzKOjeUJu5
Joel had to stop, looking. It couldn’t be. It was her, really.
It had only been the night before, at the magic show. The magician had done many things that still left joel wondering what had gone on with it when he announced that he was going to do a version of Sawing a Woman in Half that had never been seen before. That had him perking up as the girl came out, wearing a pretty and nice blue dress, and stood there.
As she crossed her legs, the magician brought out a katana. With no covering, no laying down, none of the usual traps, he seemed to run the sword completely through her waist. He even remembered seeing the blade sticking through her body, no hesitation at all. She smiled at that, as if sharing a joke, as he completely cut through her.
At that, he jammed the tip of the blade into the stage, showing that it was real. As another assistant came out with a large serving platter, placing it on the table, he grabbed under her arms and lifted her top half completely away from her bottom half.
Joel just sat, stunned, as he placed her top half on the tray and lifted it up. As he watched, the magician carried the tray around, showing it from many sides. Joel could see he was showing signs of effort, as if he really was carrying something on that tray. The woman seemed pleased, smiling the whole time as her top half moved, completely free of her bottom half.
After a moment, Joel saw her legs twitch. They’d never been out of sight, never left the stage. He could see the whole thing, her bisected body clearly in two pieces.
It was about 5 minutes later when the magician placed the platter with her top half down, lifting it clean up, showing, again, no legs attached, and returned her halves together. She quickly took a bow with the magician, seemingly okay.
Joel had spent the whole night thinking about it. Normally, with the illusion, there was always some kind of covering, some kind of form. Even if she’d been an amputee, which he’d first thought, her legs wouldn’t have moved on their own.
But here she was, on the park bench, wearing a bikini top and shorts. He couldn’t help but look, for a moment, at her bared waist. No mark, no seam, no indication of it having happened at all.
Without him even realizing it, he’d walked towards her. “Uh, excuse me. My name’s Joel and aren’t you one of the assistants for…” he named the magician there.
She looked at him curiously and smiled once he named the magician. “Yes, I am. My name’s Carlie.”
He found himself sitting by her. “I have to say, that illusion I saw you in, I can’t figure it out.”
She looked at him warily. “Why are you asking about that?”
Her tone of voice told him she was suspecting something. “Well, let me tell you. Back when I was about 10 or 11, I saw my first magic show. It seemed so incredible, this guy doing all these things that seemed impossible. He finished it off by using the standard sawing-in-half box on his assistant. She was smiling the whole time, despite looking like she had a saw running through her.
“I dove into the illusion, fascinated, watching all the versions I could find. And then I found out how they’re done. I found out how fake they really are, how the woman was never in any danger and how even the feet in those boxes looked like they moved.
“Even those others were very obvious to me. But then I saw that version last night and I can’t, for the life of me, figure it out. It’s almost as if it wasn’t an illusion, so I have to know.”
Carlie smiled at him, understanding. She looked around for a moment. “That’s not an illusion, it’s real magic.”
Joel scoffed. “No. That doesn’t happen.”
Carlie shrugged. “If you say so, but, unless you believe, you won’t see more. What we call magic is actually a set of randomized events that can be created through the advent of the universe. It’s how it all sticks together.”
Joel looked down at her waist again as she smiled cheekily. “Wouldn’t that leave a mark?”
Carlie laughed, delighted. “No, it never has. And I can share with you how it’s all done, but you have to promise, no, beyond promise to keep it an absolute secret.”
Joel agreed before she leaned over and whispered to him. “I’m always in halves.”
That perk him up a little before he had another thought. “No, that can’t be.”
Carlie shrugged again. “It’s true. When I turned 14, a magician had me come up on stage, telling me he was going to do something special for my birthday. He sawed me in half.”
She closed her eyes as if remembering the event. “I had thought it would hurt like crazy, the saw going through me, but it didn’t. As he sawed through me, it felt better and better and better. I’d never known such pleasure. It seemed to spike as the saw went through my spine, and the feeling didn’t go away. As he put dividers in and pulled me apart, I had to squeal in delight.
“When he asked if I wanted to be put back together then, I said no. It felt so good. After the show, as I kept feeling it, he asked if I ever wanted to be put back together.
“I hadn’t thought it possible, but he showed me how I can stay in halves while looking like I’m in one piece. Now, watch.”
With that, she laid down on the bench, pushed her hands on her hips. Joel heard a soft pop as her halves came apart. Just to illustrate it, she sat her bottom half up like it would normally be. Joel watched, amazed, bu thad to ask. “Doesn’t it get difficult?”
Carlie admitted, “Well, sometimes. I can stay in one piece through most things. I have to be careful driving or in any emergency. Also, intimacy is a bit tricky.”
Joel looked, wondering. She seemed to read his mind. “Yeah, I get too excited, I can lose the ability to stay in one piece. I’ve had a few guys run when I come apart.”
Joel smiled at that. He could only imagine, but she went on. “But I have had those that are okay with it. Being in two pieces can also create some...fun...techniques.”
At that, Joel was satisfied. He knew magic existed as Carlie put her halves back together. She seemed to be waiting for a couple of moments. “Well, aren’t you going to ask for my digits?”
He had no idea she was thinking that. And it wasn’t too long after when he learned exactly what it would be like dating a permanently bisected girl like her.
