Drunk Magic
This one is very loosely based on another writer’s tale “A New Year’s To Remember.” Vaughn’s is good, but this is what I’d do.
Carlie woke up as the sun streamed in, hitting her eyes. She groaned, wanting to roll over, as the pain seared through her head, pounding with every pulse and reminding her, with each beat, how bad an idea it was to drink as much as she might have last night.
She wanted to put her hand up to her head to try and drown out the pain, but...”Wait, where’s my hand?”
She opened her eyes with a start. Yes, her head was on her pillow, but she couldn’t move it, not at all. Something seemed so off as she started to yell. “What’s going on here!”
Someone that she tentatively identified as Paul entered. “Oh good. You’re awake. Now, maybe, we can figure this out.”
He reached down, placing his hands on either side of Carlie’s head, and lifted it up. That’s when Carlie realized there wasn’t a rest of her beside her head. “Uh...Paul...where’s the rest of me? What happened?”
Paul carried her head downstairs to see that there basically wasn’t a rest of her anywhere. “You mean you really don’t remember? You did have quite a bit to drink last night, especially after the halving.”
Carlie strained. She remembered agreeing to meet Paul for drinks, hoping to get some much-needed action, and how they kept talking. Paul announced that he knew a lot about magic, so Carlie thought he meant illusions. No, he meant real magic. The illusionist world was created to hide the fact that real magic existed.
Carlie couldn’t believe it. “So you could, what, saw me in half?”
Paul shrugged. She remembered that. “Sure.”
Carlie had kept it a secret for some time, her fetish. Ever since she’d seen a double-sawing illusion on TV, she’d fantasized about it, wondering how these girls could be cut in half so easily yet appear to enjoy the very act of it. The act thrilled her, inspired her.
But she learned about how the trick was done and felt so disheartened. All of it illusion. None of it for real.
But her dreams kept coming, wanting to know.
Feeling a little tipsy, maybe not in total control, she grabbed Paul’s hand. “Let’s go back to my place then.”
As Carlie tried to remember, it came back to her. “You really sawed me in half?”
Paul nodded, not sure what else. “Yeah. You seemed to enjoy it so much, feeling that saw go through your body. I think you may even have orgasmed.”
She barely remembered that. Then the thrill of feeling her body slide apart. She had orgasmed, no doubt, but then demanded something else. If being cut at her waist felt so wonderful, how would being cut at her neck feel.
Paul watched as she kept drinking, building up her courage. “You should take it easy, Carlie. No idea how this stuff can affect you when you’re in pieces.”
She waved him off. “Okay, cut off my head now.”
The feeling was the same and she felt so good, but...”I’m cold.”
Not knowing what else to do, Paul took a cover off the couch, swiftly placing it over Carlie’s separated body. “Woah! What’s that?”
Carlie spotted how the parts of her body no longer had a definite shape under the cover. Without thinking, Paul whipped the cover off. Carlie screamed as she saw nothing under it, then screamed again when Paul accidentally clipped her head.
“It was an accident, Carlie. I swear, I didn’t mean to knock you out. I got your head up to your room, then just sat there, all night, trying to work out what had happened. I think I de-realized you.”
Carlie looked at him as best she could. “Well, okay. How do we realize me now?”
Paul explained as he set her up on the counter, telling her there were many different forms of making a person disappear. Some left a feeling of freedom and wonder. Some just left nothing at all. Some kept the feelings of the parts going. He explained how, with Carlie still feeling her parts move, that had to be what he’d done.
He thought for a moment, then another moment, while Carlie felt her unrealized toe tapping in impatience. “Okay, I think I got it. This’ll feel a little funny, but I need to move your head again.”
As he did so, Carlie watched, trying to understand, as he took the cover he’d used to disappear her and rolled it up. Without much preamble, he quickly unrolled the cover and Carlie yelped a bit as her legs came out first, hitting the leg of the table. She could feel the pain. “Okay, partway there.”
He did it again, this time with her torso coming out. With some dexterity, he caught it before she hit the ground. “That worked. I’m surprised.”
He held onto her torso a bit, Carlie with her hands where her hips should be. “Now what are you waiting for?”
He moved her top half over her bottom half, lining up her split waist perfectly. “I’ve never tried it this way before. Let’s see what happens.”
As the two parts of her waist touched, Carlie felt such a rush of intense ecstasy that she couldn’t help but gasp. It felt so fantastic, the wave of pleasure at feeling her halved body reunited. With her body now together, Carlie tried something on her own. She was able to stand her body up with some coordination, wondering if it was still drunk, and walk it over to where her head was. “Now be careful.”
She said it to herself as she tried lifting her own head up, pausing only a moment to stare at her bosom, before turning it around and placing it on her neck. That fantastic feeling returned.
With her body now back in one piece, she turned to Paul in mock severity. “Now what about compensation for this? What can you do?”
Paul shrugged, a little timid. “What would you like?”
Carlie already knew as she took his hand, leading him back up to her bedroom.
