The Peeping Tom

Based, albeit loosely, on the image in my fave folder “Ouch.”  Kind of a different approach here.

Eric had to check the time again.  He had to know.

Sure, his new neighbor, moved in half a week ago, Carlie would probably be really creeped out by this, and he wouldn’t blame her, but he had to know.

It all started the day after she moved in.  He’d just gotten home when he saw Carlie walking into the back of her house wearing a skimpy bikini.  She had the biggest grin on her face, but not much else.  Sure, she was cute, but the next few days, every time he came home, there she was, walking in, wearing that bikini with a towel wrapped around her waist.

So what was it?  What made her smile so big?

She never had any visitors, at least as far as he could tell, but she always seemed to be really euphoric.  What was it?

That weekend, she disappeared for a couple of days.  Nothing major, though.  Eric knew she had a job with some kind of performance group, but he still missed seeing what she had to offer.

They did have a fence between their backyards, but Eric thought for a while before she got back.  He worked up trying to carve out a knothole, something completely missable unless she knew the fence very well, and, given how new she was to it, it wasn’t likely she would.

He felt like a creep.  He felt so guilty, wanting to know what was going on when he stayed home just to see what she was doing.

He watched as she laid the towel down and laid on it while getting something out of her bag.  He turned away, the guilt eating at him when she heard her moan and gasp.  That got him to turn around, wondering.

He had to stifle a gasp himself as he saw what it was, a large handsaw.  She had it on her waist and was stroking it back and forth.  No, not on her waist, in her waist.

She moaned again, groaning in pleasure as she continued to pass the saw, bloodlessly, into her body.  She yelped once, then groaned even louder as she reached the point halfway through, gasping and moaning like a woman being made love to.

He watched, entranced, as she passed the saw down to where he guessed her spine was.  At that point, she was screaming, calling out to God.  As the saw finished cutting through her spine, she tensed up and Eric heard her gasp in total orgasmic ecstasy.

He paused for a moment, wondering if he really saw what he saw as she took the saw out from the cut in her waist.  She beamed in pure pleasure as she expertly rolled her top half over, off of the towel.

Yes, she’d sawed herself in half.  There was no doubt about that.  Her face shone with the joy of it, thrilled at the fact that she was in two parts before…

Eric was not ready for her to bring the saw up to her neck.  After a couple of minutes, Carlie’s severed head was held in her hands as she placed her head a foot above her neck stump.

Was Eric seeing real magic?  What was Carlie’s job with this?

But, no.  He could never ask her.  What he was doing now was shameful, something he deeply regretted.  Sure, it was strange, mysterious even.

But then he thought of how she seemed to have a real orgasmic experience with it.  It was her private moment, her cutting herself to pieces like that.

But he had to know.  He had to.

About an hour later, Eric knocked on Carlie’s door.  She seemed surprised to see him there, clearly not expecting anyone as she was still in her bikini.  But she seemed pleased.

He made the excuse that he was just checking in, seeing  how well she was adjusting, before he casually brought something up. “I noticed you weren’t home last weekend.”

Carlie got them both something to drink before he asked. ‘Oh yes.  I was working.”

Trying to sound just casually curious, Eric had to ask her. “What do you do for work?”

Carlie just shrugged in a friendly manner. “I’m an assistant for a magician.”

He jumped before he could ask. “An illusionist?”

Carlie smiled and laughed just once. “No, a real magician.  There are many illusionists out there, but there are a few performers who do real magic, where my head really does come off my body and where I really am sliced in half.”

He wanted to ask so much more.  He needed to, but he tried to stay calm. “What?  Screaming in pain?  That kind of stuff?”

Carlie just laughed. “No, it actually doesn’t hurt.  But you have to come to the show this weekend.  I’ll get you a backstage pass.”

And, with that, Eric fell in love with magic.
