Private Tanning

Based on Half Girl 26 in my Favorites folder

Carlie hesitated a moment, listening before she entered the pool area.  It sounded like there were a couple of people already in the pool, but it was too late to turn back when someone spotted her.

Sure, it wasn’t uncommon to see a young woman go in and just lay there, on a towel, soaking in the sun. In fact, as she went in, she saw one other already there, flat on her back, just enjoying the rays of the sun on her body.  One of the guys swimming looked at her appreciatively with a nod before she smiled, spread out the towel and spread herself out as well.

If only they knew why she wanted to be alone right now, the real reason.  She hadn’t shared it with her roommate, nor with anyone else.  The only ones that knew were the people she worked with.

Carlie smiled as she slid on her shades.  She could remember all too well.

She was an assistant for a magician that went by the stage name of Mysterio.  His real name was Blake, but only those that worked with him knew it.  Sure, he played in clubs and bars, but he did real magic.

Carlie knew most of the tricks that illusionists did, curling assistants up in uncomfortable positions to make it look like something considered impossible was happening to them, but not Blake.

Carlie first learned about this when Blake invited her to stick her head through a guillotine device. She knew the trick, of course. The blade would appear to pass through her neck but it was, in reality, stopped and a similar blade dropped through the rest of the way.

At least she thought she knew.  Carlie could still remember yelping, or was it screaming, as she felt a real, sharp blade slice into the back of her neck just before her head fell forward onto a pillow she thought was just there for effect.

It took her a couple of moments before she comprehended that her head really had been sliced from the rest of her body.  She could still feel her body, move her arms and stuff, but she had no idea how it would be possible without being attached.

Blake picked her head up and asked if she could have the rest of her body join them.  Carlie took a moment, considering something.

Her head had her semicircular canals in it, meaning that she’d need that for balance.  Wouldn’t her body fall over?  Blake assured her that it would be okay and turned her head so that she could see her body as she tried to make it stand up straight.

It seemed so strange, so weird, watching a headless body move on its own.  But it felt so good.

As Carlie got used to walking headless, Blake surprised her by asking what it felt like.  Carlie couldn’t lie, so he just smiled. “Then I have a surprise for you.”

Carlie didn’t know what it could be. “What?”

Blake placed her head back on her neck, lining it up, and Carlie felt it coming back together, but it felt odd.  A couple of turns of her head showed her that it was on, but then Blake asked her to press her fingers, lightly, on the area just below her jaw, right on the carotid artery.

Carlie yelped as her head fell off again.  Blake explained as she caught her head. “When I do my magic, I find that it’s usually better if the assistant already has the magic happen to them.  Plus, there’s one other little side effect for one magic that really does need to have you ready for it beforehand.”

He instructed her how to put her head back on, leading her to a simple table with a couple of bands across at the midpoint.  Could it be?

Carlie stirred a little as the other three revelers in the pool left.

Yes, it was time.

She rolled over on her tummy, taking out a simple plastic butter knife as she did so.

She could remember Blake telling her about this, telling her to be very much ready because it felt super nice.

Carlie even smiled as she remembered the near-orgasm she had when Blake did it, ready to use the utensil, scraping it on her bare waist.

She giggled a little, feeling her waist separate, giving her that wonderful sensation again.

Like the fact that her head was only temporarily attached, she was also only sometimes in one piece, and she knew she wanted something special.

Blake didn’t do it often, but, when he “cut her in half” onstage, he sometimes showed the cut ends to the audience, and Carlie knew she had to make sure her skin tone matched all the way around, including that skin that stretched across her separated waist.

As she felt herself go in halves again, Carlie maneuvered her upper half so that both halves could catch the sun, being very careful to make sure nobody else would come into the pool.

Still, she had to admit, she really didn’t mind it.  Blake told her not a lot of girls would stay like she was, but Carlie loved it.

She loved being, really, in pieces.
