Senior Picture

Based on Boystick’s “It’s Difficult Being a Magician’s Assistant.”

Carlie had gone clear through her entire school career not standing out.  She never could’ve made it as a cheerleader or any kind of student body politician, she was just an introvert.  But here she was, in her final year, and she wanted to do something truly memorable, something everyone would be talking about for years.

But what would it be? What could she do that would stand out?

Sure, she got good grades, but that wasn’t really anything memorable.  No, she had to do something that would make people wonder.

She looked, online, through the options for her senior pictures, really not knowing what she could do, when she searched “really magical pictures.” She thought it might be some kind of effects or something, but a website caught her eye, the site for “True Magic.”

She looked at the examples, wondering what sort of computer effects they’d do, and made up her mind as she contacted them…

As the Saturday came, Carlie pulled up to the studio, all her ideas in her head about what they could do to her picture.  What would it really entail, she wondered?  But she went in, then stopped.

The girl behind the front desk looked up, but that was all she could do.  She was just a head.  Carlie could clearly see under the desk, and saw that there wasn’t any room for the rest of her. “Can I help you?”

Carlie shook her head out a moment later, realizing she’d been staring and gave her name.  The girl did something and looked back at her. ‘Oh yes. Go ahead, go on back.  It may take a few minutes, but you’ll be seen very soon.”

Carlie did so and stopped short.  The other girl they’d been working on sat on a stool, her legs crossed, holding her head in her lap.  She seemed so happy, honestly smiling and not just for the camera, clearly not caring that her head had been cut off.  Someone, intact, noticed Carlie. “Yes?”

Carlie gave her name and had to ask, “Does it really feel good to be decapitated like that?”

The man smiled. “For some, yes.  For others, getting cut in half at the waist is the best feeling in the world aside from sex.”

Carlie’s eyebrow perked up at the thought. “How can you tell?”

The man smiled again but didn’t answer. ‘Yes, you asked about a senior picture?”

Carlie’s mind came back to the present. “Oh yes.  I’m hoping it’s not too much, but….”

The man went through the pricing plan, Carlie nodding attentively but still, she wondered whether she’d like to do this.  What if it was a negative thing?  What if it didn’t work on her?  What if, instead of having this…did she call it magic…done, she chose something else? What would it entail?

Carlie made her mind up with the price and, as soon as the first girl had her head reattached, Carlie was up.

The photographer looked at Carlie’s outfit and immediately declared they were going outside, to the park across the street.  Carlie shrugged and followed him and his camera out there.  As soon as they were in the park, he asked what Carlie wanted. “Uh…”

The photographer huffed. “Another undecided one?”

Carlie put up a hand to stop him.  Ever since she was a child something about magic had always fascinated her.  She’d seen pretty girls get in boxes and sawn in half and smiling like they were having the times of their lives.  It didn’t matter what they were doing, they always seemed to really enjoy being in halves. “Cut me in half.”

The photographer smiled, then had Carlie lay down on the grass. “If you’re sure.”

Carlie sighed once, still not sure. “Yes.”

The photographer pulled out a large sword from…somewhere Carlie didn’t see.  He held it over her middle and Carlie took a gulp.

As soon as the blade touched her skin she felt…something.  It was a mix of pleasure and pain, something Carlie couldn’t explain.  He sliced a couple of times and she felt the blade sink into her body.  The pain left quickly, but she felt so good.  Something better than she’d felt in a long time, something erotic even.

A couple more slices in and Carlie was moaning in pleasure, almost like she had no other thought.  When he reached her spine she started screaming in ecstasy, declaring “YES” so many times before that sensation caused her to have a full-on orgasm.

As soon as the photographer withdrew the blade from Carlie’s bisected body, Carlie just lay there, wonderful sensations coursing through her.  She could feel that her body had truly been divided and was still in halves, but that wasn’t the end.

The photographer had her try to flip over on her tummy.  It took a little bit of doing before she was face down when she realized her legs hadn’t flipped over as well.  That took a little extra doing before the photographer slid her top half over and positioned her legs, eliciting a giggle from Carlie before he started taking photos.

As soon as they were done, Carlie had to wonder something. “Can I stay in half?”

The photographer sighed. “Yes, another one.”

He pulled out a roll of thick Velcro, cutting a section off and placing both parts of it on the cut ends of Carlie’s waist. “This will hold you together for a while, but it won’t last. As soon as the Velcro comes off, you must be restored or else keep using Velcro.  There’s no other way.”

Carlie had to smile as she felt the Velcro stick together, holding her halves together tentatively.

Carlie was the talk of the school since the pictures came out, all of them coming to her and wondering what kind of camera could do suck amazing effects.

That’s when she usually pulled herself apart, making everyone gasp as she giggled at them.
