Prepping
Admittedly, this little adventure is loosely based on the Ship of Theseus paradox. Go ahead, look it up.
Carlie had to sigh as she shut the door to her room. She plopped onto her bed, pulling out the halter top with the generous size for cleavage on it. She sighed again, knowing what she’d have to do to get ready.
Her friends were arriving in a few hours, so she didn’t have much time. She stood up, going to her chest of drawers to try and decide which one she’d want to wear. Which one really fit the theme of a nightclub that she’d want to go with.
As she looked at the contents of the drawer she felt only a little creeped out. There were three or four heads in there, all of them blank-eyed, but looking up at her. It always felt a little unnerving to see that.
She sighed again. “Okay then.”
She pulled out the blonde with the long hair that she knew would get some attention. “No, not yet.”
For a few minutes, Carlie placed the head on her nightstand and took a red marker to the hair on that head before she was satisfied. It definitely wasn’t her, or at least not yet.
With a firm grip on her forehead and the back of her head, Carlie twisted just a little before she felt the familiar pop. She lifted her own head up, turning it around until she placed it on the nightstand next to the other one. She made sure she could still see her arms and the other head before she picked it up and gently placed it where her other head had been.
After a brief shudder of good feelings, Carlie opened her eyes, looking at the head she’d just removed. It would be fine in the drawer with the other heads, so she got up and slid it into the drawer, but then looked down at herself.
The crop top she bought did ask for a few alterations. Her waist wasn’t really small enough nor her boobs big enough to fill it out, but that would be okay.
She opened the secret panel behind her closet to where she kept the torsos and hips and legs. After a bit of looking, she found the one she wanted. Sure, right now, it didn’t really seem like hers, but she knew what would happen.
Carlie placed the new torso, with folded up arms, on her nightstand, ready to do this again as she removed her head and placed it where she could see both torsos. She pushed down at the sides of the chair and, again, felt a familiar pop as her waist separated. She reached up to the new torso, twisting it around as her torso turned. As soon as she placed the new torso on her hips, Carlie felt the familiar sensations of pleasure as she got herself back together.
Placing her head back where it belonged, Carlie stood, a little off balance. She looked down, amazed again how her waist molded to her old hips, and realized the problem.
Her legs were too short for this torso. Carlie knew that she was a tiny person, although many people thought she was just cute that way, but she wasn’t ready to go out looking all odd and everything.
She retrieved a set of legs that were a little longer and separated her halves again. As soon as she connected, the other legs simply went limp. Now she felt she was almost ready.
She still had to do something about the nails. Carlie selected a fingernail paint that would match the crop top she’d gotten and started painting her fingers. But, with the shoes, she knew she’d have to paint her toes as well.
That really wasn’t that big a problem, her feet came off like the rest of her, and she finished painting them in no time at all.
Back to the look she wanted for that night, she slipped on her crop top, smiling a little at how much skin was showing, and pushed her boobs to where they’d fit, although there was an obvious bulge in them.
She slipped on the skirt she’d bought at the same time, then the shoes.
As she stood, the doorbell rang. She went to it, seeing her friend Jess there. “You ready?”
Carlie shrugged. “I guess so. Let’s go and get this over with.”
