The Audition
This story is an original one starring @MagicalFirefly. This time Carlie has a bit of a different outcome.
Carlie knocked on the door, still not sure what she was doing here. Sure, she needed some extra funds, like most young women her age do, but did it really come down to this? It was an ad online that simply said someone was looking for petite women to join a certain magic act.
And Carlie was about as petite as petite could get. “Come in!”
The voice was of a man, probably not too much older than Carlie herself, but she shrugged and went inside.
The room was about as bare an office as she could imagine. Desk, computer, a couple of chairs on either side of the desk and a door to a back room. As soon as Carlie saw the man she knew she’d underestimated his age. He seemed to be intent on something he was looking at on the computer. “Uh, hello.”
He looked up, seemingly surprised to see her there. “Oh. Hi. Go ahead, have a seat, let’s talk for a minute.”
Carlie hesitated as she sat down. A part of her wondered, in a setup like this, if it wasn’t a recruiting drive for a porn site. Carlie took only a moment to decide what she’d say if he were to start asking her lewd questions. Instead, he introduced himself. “I’m Jonathan, and I’ll be doing the show. I have to admit I wasn’t expecting anyone to show up. Oh, by the way, what’s your name?”
Carlie wasn’t actually ready for that. “Uh, Carlie.”
Jonathan asked her height and a couple of other things before he asked her something else. “What do you think of magic shows?”
Now Carlie was interested. She spoke of how she’d been so into magic ever since she saw a double-sawing-in-half on TV a few years ago. Jonathan smiled and then stood, inviting Carlie to follow him as he continued. “I have to admit, I kind of picked up a few tricks along the way, and I’m looking for a full-time assistant if I can get the show on the road. If you’re interested, let me show you one of the tricks I have in mind.”
He led her to the next room where Carlie saw something she’d never seen before. A narrow table but surrounding one of the ends was a setup with a wood frame and something unimaginable on top. Carlie took stock of the guillotine, but also noticed the attachments about a foot down the table from it. The table looked like it would just fit her.
She sighed, trusting that Jonathan knew what he was doing and that he’d explain the trick to her as she climbed up on the table, waiting for Jonathan to lift the stock so she could slide her neck into it. Jonathan then explained what this whole setup was. “Here’s the deal. I’m going to use a bowsaw to saw you in half and then, after that, the guillotine will fall, cutting your head off.”
Carlie shrugged. “Okay.”
She didn’t see much, but more felt Jonathan place a wooden stock over her body about at her waist. She breathed easy, assured that the trick would work perfectly, and she wouldn’t feel a thing. “Ready Carlie?”
“Yeah.”
There was a sound as Jonathan slid something into the top of the stock at her waist. Carlie gasped after a moment when she felt something resting on her body, something with sharp teeth. The saw?
Jonathan sounded a bit nervous as he announced, “Okay, here we go.”
Carlie felt the saw blade rake across her body, sending brief flashes of pain into her. She nearly screamed for him to stop as the saw slid across her body again. The pain wasn’t as intense, but she knew something was going on. The saw went into her a third time and, no doubt, Carlie could feel it inside her waist.
Carlie’s breath deepened as she could feel the saw going into her. She reached up, feeling under the bracket to where her body was and could definitely feel the seam as Jonathan kept sawing into her.
He was about halfway through when the pain was gone. Instead, Carlie felt a rush of pleasure at each stroke as he continued down, through her body. Here she was, being sawn in half, and she was liking it more and more. She gasped several times, trying to hold back screaming in pleasure, when he sawed into her spinal column. After that, Carlie felt the saw go through her back and out the other side.
She had only a moment to realize that, yes, her body was divided, really sawn in half, when she heard the release of the other blade. She smiled for just a moment as she felt the guillotine slam into her neck, cleaving her head from her bisected body.
Carlie lay there, marveling at the fact that she was, indeed, in pieces. It didn’t hurt, not at all, and she had to wonder at the marvelous sensations that were coursing through her body. “Wow. I didn’t think that would work.”
That shocked Carlie. “What!?”
Jonathan came around the guillotine setup, looking a bit surprised. Carlie was surprised herself. She didn’t think she’d be able to talk with her head and neck separated. “I mean I just found it all online, a course in how to do magic. Now it seems to have worked, but I don’t know how to get my bowsaw back.”
Carlie sighed, still amazed she could feel her breathing, as she lifted up on her elbows, fully separating her halves and head. “There. You can get it now.”
Jonathan looked shocked at Carlie’s condition but recovered a moment later as he picked up her head and placed it on her torso. Carlie had one bit of annoyance. “Okay, this is all good, but how about putting me back together. I mean you know how to do that, right?”
Jonathan looked chagrined, so Carlie emphasized. “RIGHT?”
Jonathan sighed. “I didn’t think I’d need that part. I thought you’d be all back in one piece after this is all done, but you’re not.”
Carlie let her anger through. “So, you don’t know how to put me back together?”
Jonathan shook his head, looking down. Suddenly he looked up, a bright light in his eye. “Got an idea.”
Carlie felt her feet tapping in annoyance at this, even though they weren’t in their usual spot. A moment later, Jonathan came back in with patches of Velcro. “This will keep you together, I hope, until I can figure out how to really put you all back together. Just leave your contact information and I’ll take care of it.”
With a little help, Carlie was able to get her body looking like it was back in one piece, even though she knew it wasn’t really. “Let me know the moment you figure it out.”
Two weeks later, Jonathan called Carlie, excited that he’d learned how to get her back together. Still, Carlie had to admit, she did like the feelings she had being in pieces like this. It seemed so strange, but it felt so fantastic.
She had to tell Jonathan that she’d let him know when and if she wanted to be put back together.
