Mightier Than the Sword
The original is on that old site and will be copied here. This one’s for Halloween and stars @MagicalFirefly.
It’s always 3. And there’s always a catch with it.
That’s what Carlie was thinking when she looked at her predicament again. She knew she couldn’t go back, couldn’t try and pawn this off on someone else. No, this curse was hers, and she knew it now.
And all because she thought it would be a nice collectible. Sure, the 19-year-old was fond of perusing eBay once in a while, looking for odds and ends. Some of the odd stuff she’d collected over the years sat on her shelf, including a haunted doll. It didn’t really creep her out, but it did just keep staring at her.
But then she saw this “Ancient Stylus,” one that was reported to have some unusual properties. She really had no idea, but she felt the desire to own it.
She wished she could send it back.
The stylus arrived a couple of days later with an ominous warning on it. Whatever you do, do not use this to write any wishes down, or, if you do, be prepared for the consequences.
Carlie just had to laugh. Was that supposed to scare her? Now, she wished she’d have paid attention.
The stylus laid on the shelf for a week before Carlie wrecked her car. It wasn’t bad, but her insurance declared it a total loss. Sure, they’d pay her for it, but it was a cheap used car to begin with.
Not thinking anything of it, Carlie picked up the stylus, dipped it in an inkwell, and wrote “I wish I had enough money not to worry about anything anymore.”
She sat back, waiting. No money came flooding in, not even Monopoly money.
The next day, Carlie got news that her grandfather had had a massive heart attack. He didn’t make it, and so she had to go to the funeral. That’s when she got the news that he left everything to her, including a large, multi-million-dollar fortune.
It was only after Carlie got back home that it hit her. The wish came true, she never had to worry about money again.
While she knew she’d miss her grandfather terribly, and had to grieve, a part of her had to wonder about this stylus. Did it really grant her wish? There was one way to find out.
Carlie took the stylus back down, thinking for a moment, and decided on what the next wish should be. Now, she wasn’t an unattractive girl. Sure, she had a fetish for being tickled, and she’d had a couple of boyfriends that loved feeding that fetish, but she’d always wondered about something. She dipped the stylus into the inkwell and wrote I wish I had the kind of body that’d make every boy notice me and every girl jealous of me.
Carlie waited for a moment before she decided to turn in. The wish wouldn’t happen right away she realized.
She woke up with an uncomfortableness in her chest. She rolled over and looked down, gasping. Her boobs had grown incredibly overnight, and she knew it. Her waist had shrunk, and her hips were now out a bit further. She looked behind and, yes, she had a nice butt too.
She sighed as she realized she had to go shopping for more clothes, but in the process of doing it, thought that she should have clothes that showed a bit more skin. She had that kind of skin now, and she wasn’t self-conscious of showing it off.
As far as she could tell, there wasn’t a downside to it yet. But then she heard the comments that some of the other women made, calling her a skank and a whore, and saying that she must’ve had surgery to be able to look the way she does now.
And she couldn’t prove that it was all natural, all her own body. How could she prove that it all came because of a wish made with a magic stylus? Who’d believe her?
Maybe that was what the warning was for. There would be consequences to each wish, a downside. She tried to unwish, but it didn’t work. She knew that she should throw that thing away, and tried to. The next day it was back on her shelf, like it had always been there.
And, yes, the boys did notice her, but they only wanted one thing from her. None of them ever really wanted to hang out with her, laughing or anything, and none of them ever brought over feathers anymore.
But maybe there was a way around it. Maybe, if she worded it carefully next time, she’d be able to avoid the downside.
She’d been pondering that when she came across a website with quite a few images and stories on it that had women sawn in half. The stories told of women who volunteered to be cut in half and then put back together, and how the experience seemed enjoyable.
No, she wasn’t going to think about it. It seemed ridiculous. They were just stories, after all, and pictures to make it look like these women were really cut in half.
But what if they weren’t? While she was thinking about it, she knew one thing. If there wasn’t any magic, how would she have the money and the body she did? Wouldn’t it mean that magic, in one way or another, actually existed?
An overwhelming feeling came over her. She knew what she wanted to do, she wanted to have that kind of experience. She also knew that she wanted to really test it out.
Carlie sat down, taking off everything but her bra and panties, a box of feathers next to her. Some might say she was playing into her fetish, but she didn’t care. She had to know. She had to.
She thought about it carefully, what she wanted to say. She had to be very careful about the wording, knowing something bad might come from it. I wish any completed loop drawn around my body with this stylus would result in that body part separating without causing me harm.
She looked at the words again. That was the third time she used this stylus to make a wish, but it was more now. She dipped the stylus in the inkwell and pulled it out, placing it next to her waist. She sighed. It had worked before. She had the body and the money to prove it.
She placed the stylus on her waist and began to draw.
At first, there was nothing. Carlie had only gone a little way, though. Maybe it would take more. She drew over her hip, continuing the circle, and started to feel it. It wasn’t much, but she wasn’t halfway around her body. It felt like something wonderful was beginning to happen.
Carlie smiled as she reached behind her back, still holding the stylus, and kept drawing the loop. As it crossed her backbone, something amazing happened. She started laughing, feeling so good. As she drew around to where the loop began, she was smiling, feeling everything good.
As soon as the loop was complete, she didn’t know how, but she knew it had happened. She used her arms and lifted her top half off of her bottom half, separating herself completely. It felt fantastic, like all the chocolate and all the massages and all the orgasms rolled into one.
Carlie tried to move so that her top half was between her legs. Now for the fetish part. She picked out a feather and drew it across her foot. She almost dropped it, laughing as she was. She could really feel it. She maneuvered her top half around, almost wanting to know more.
Dare she? Carlie reached up and grabbed the inkwell again. She pinned her hair on her head before she started to draw a second loop around her neck.
A moment later, her head came off in her hands. What else could she do? It felt so good, but she knew she didn’t have much time to indulge herself this way. She turned her head around and tried to place it on her neck.
Nothing happened before her head came off again. She started to worry a little. She needed to be in one piece. She thought for a moment how to do it and maneuvered her top half back up to where her hips were before trying to reattach there.
Nothing.
Sure, she felt great, but her head was in her hands and her body was still in two pieces. What could she do?
Make a wish. The thought came to her really fast, and she didn’t know where it came from. She placed her head down where she could see what she was writing and dipped the stylus in the inkwell again.
But, this time, nothing was written. It was like once her wishes were used up, it wouldn’t do anything for her anymore.
Carlie had to sigh before bursting into tears. What was this thing?
She called the original seller only to hear her tell her own story of how her husband wished for money to pay off their house, only to have their son die. The insurance paid it off, but they lost their son. That was the only one she could get out, but Carlie asked about the owner before her. She’d had a terrible miscarriage after asking for her pregnancy to be eased.
It was cursed, she saw, to always give bad things to those who wish with it. Maybe this stylus was the origin of the Monkey’s Paw or Aladdin’s Lamp. Maybe it was the origin of all those magical folks giving only 3 wishes.
She couldn’t get rid of it, she knew. She didn’t want to pass this on to anyone else, but she still had a problem to deal with. How would she have a life with her head and her lower half totally detached from the rest of her?
