The Class Project

Ari huffed again, not sure what she was doing.  She was failing her 11th grade art class, and was told that, unless she managed to find something spectacular, she’d likely completely flunk it and have to retake the class over summer.

She tried all the usual tricks, the begging, the shameless flirting, even trying, one day, to show a little extra skin for the teacher, but he refused to budge.  She had to make an art project unlike any other.

So, she had only one choice. Jackson.  I mean, yeah, they’d been friends for she wasn’t sure how long. She knew he’d dabbled in magic a little, but still wasn’t sure what he was going to do.

Today, he only said to tie her shirt up or come in a crop top.  She had the kind of body that looked good like that, so that wasn’t what made her nervous.  All he told her was that he’d take care of everything for his version of Modern Art.

But there was no cabinet, no huge prop for her to get into.  All he came in with was his usual gear.  She was worried that he might have forgotten when he asked her if she was ready. “Ready for what?”

Jackson just smiled at her. “You know, to do the Modern Art illusion.”

Ari still wasn’t sure what he was talking about.  There was no illusion ready.

A few minutes later, Ari was asked for her presentation, so she stood and announced that, since she had to do something spectacular, she’d asked for help from Jackson.  He waved a little as he stood, then asked Ari if she was ready to become a piece of Modern Art. “What do you….?”

She didn’t finish the question as Jackson pulled out a piece of fishing line. “Trust me.”

He looped the line around her, even going so far as to having her turn around a full 360 to show the line was, indeed, encircling her body.  Ari felt the line all the way around her, still not sure what the illusion was, when Jackson suddenly pulled on it.

Ari suspected that it’d squeeze her, but she felt the loop go completely through her.  Jackson tossed the fishing line to the side as Ari looked down at herself.  She had to have imagined it, but she felt it go through her. “What happens now?”

Jackson smiled. “What happens in those fake illusions?”

Ari shuddered for a moment.  She knew. The girl in the other illusions was separated.

Jackson put an arm around her, so she braced herself before he lifted her top half completely off of her hips and legs.  She felt a little dizzy, knowing she was in two pieces now.  She knew she was in two pieces, but still looked back as she left her bottom half behind.

He set her on a desk and invited the other students in the class to examine her.  Ari felt the stun wear off.  Yes, he’d really cut her in half, but it didn’t hurt.  It felt weird, but, at the same time, very pleasing.

There were some students who looked under the desk and some who tried tickling the new flesh that covered her insides on her bottom half.  She jumped each time, convincing many that she really was cut in half and feeling just fine.

The teacher had to approve of the project.  She’d fulfilled his requirements and then some.  She’d pass the class.

As the school bell rang, She had to ask Jackson where he’d learned it all from.  He told her, “My grandfather was a world-famous magician. He taught me how to do real magic, but now, we must discuss your fee.”

Ari felt her eyebrows raise. “Jackson, you know I’ll pay when I can, I…”

He laughed, once, leaning next to her top half. “No, not money.  In order for me to put you back together so we can get on with today, you have to agree to go out with me.”

Ari was stunned.  She knew Jackson had certain feelings for her, but blackmail?  Jackson corrected her.  It was a fee.  She finally huffed and agreed before he picked her top half back up and placed it on her bottom half.

There was a rush of pure pleasure as she felt her two halves come back together, and she was smiling. “Maybe, when we do go on our date, you can cut me in half with something other than a used piece of fishing line.”

He smiled at her. “You got it Ari.”
