Hey Deviants. What'd I miss?

I know it's been a very long time, but things in the real world got real crazy real fast, and long story short, I moved! I've escaped the swamps of Florida to become a citizen of Maryland, and while I've been working on Head Count lore behind the scenes, I haven't had a workable drawing setup until just this past week when I got Clip Studio Paint. I'm still learning how to use it, but I can already tell it's going to take my art to the next level. The sketchy lineart I'd been doing for the last decade may have had an arguable amount of charm to it, but after working in an app that actually stabilizes my penstrokes and renders them in editable vector lines? I can never go back, not by choice.

Anyway if my TF partner here looks familiar, that's because they're one of @virisphere's OCs. Everyone say hi to the Hunter Sphere, or just Hunter colloquially. Spheres are ghosts in ball-shaped relics that can infuse themselves into a biological host and confer the ghosts' unique skills. Despite their name, Hunter isn't a hunter, but a bard. They worked as song-and-dance entertainment on a sailing ship in the 19th century, until they were unceremoniously sealed away in a rum bottle and locked in a box of buried treasure that was later unearthed somewhere off the coast of Belize. Grateful to be freed, they seem to have chosen me as their new host. ^^; And they were all too happy to demonstrate that they can physically manifest in ways that are well within my wheelhouse.

Enjoy!
