While most of Head Count remains on Earth and nearby planes, Hikari Ichikawa was recruited as a foreign world specialist, in part for her work at the Ignatius Academy of Thaumatic Sciences doing research for the construction of a Multiversal Map. Ichikawa's ongoing archaeological studies could also yield clues as to how time itself began, and how reality splintered into so many diverse instances from a common progenitor timeline. Elemental mages are a dime a dozen, but it's Hikari's access to vital historical records and metamagical studies that make her an invaluable asset to a team whose mission is to maintain peace, safety, and freedom for Earth's native peoples; and who might one day have to stare down a cosmic-level threat.<br /><br />Call it a redesign of the redesign from 2016. ^^ Hikari got slightly taller, and with much more luxurious hair. Not sure how well I did on the shading, it's hard to tell with this machine sometimes.
